Mrs Norris

Hogwarts was filled with miscreants and troublemakers. She loathed them all. They worked day and night to terrorise both her and her owner, Argus Filch and she was unable to get back at them the way she had wanted. Apparently scratching their faces up and tearing them to shreds was deemed 'inhumane' though Argus appeared to agree with her.

Despite her inhumane way of going about punishments, she was always willing to lend a helping hand to help capture and confront those who dared go against the rules. Her meow was unmistakable in the castle and like a homing beacon, Argus was able to get to her almost immediately.

As a cat who nobody liked, she had a hard life in the castle, but one year was the worst for her poor owner Filch, when she had been petrified through the puddle of water that had appeared on the floor. For her it was a blink of an eye from being in a corridor to months later where she awoke in the Hospital Wing. If she could've cried of joy alongside Argus, she would've. Instead she was forced to meow and purr and rub herself against him to try and convey as much affection as possible.

Years later when the Carrow siblings arrived in the castle and began a different way of treating the students, she was almost giddy with joy. Finally a way of controlling the foul beasts and people who actually agreed with her and Argus! Though as weeks went by and her sleep was interrupted by gut-wrenching screams, she grew a fondness for the simple trophy cleaning ways that they had before.

Amycus Carrow was also deemed a ponce when he kicked her out of his way.

She scratched his face up pretty good that night though.
