Castiel pulled away, blushing.
I'm sorry Meg..." he said, she smiled.
"no problem, well…. I think we should sleep a little… we still have to look for your hunter friends tomorrow…." She said
Castiel gave her a small nod and she smiled, patting his head as she got up, going to lay on her own bed.
"night Clarence…" she whispered and turned off the lights
"night…." He answered back with a smile and fell asleep.
On the next day, Meg woke up late as always, and grumpy, she rubbed her eyes tiredly and went to wash her face, Castiel was already up, just lied on his bed reading a book about bees.
"Morning, feathers…." She grumbled.
He looked up at her and smiled.
"Morning…" he said and put his book down. "I've been thinking… maybe we can go look for Sam and Dean tomorrow, today I wanted to… do something different…" he mused.
She raised an eyebrow.
"And what do you suggest?" she asked.
"I don't know… maybe…. We can go but ice creams or… or we can go to the park and watch the bees…" he smiled
She gave a soft chuckle. "alright, angel boy… let's watch the bees…." She told him.
He grinned happily, waiting for Meg to get dressed.
"Can we go now?" he asked.
"Yeah… I just need to stop by a Starbucks to buy myself some coffee…" she said.
He smiled and nodded.
After Meg bought her coffee and took Castiel to the park to watch the bees, she sat on a bench near where he was, always keeping an eye on him, as he got one bee on his hands, she dropped the coffee and ran to him.
"Clarence, no-…" but the bee had already stung him and he was now whimpering softly, Meg knelt near him, rubbing his back.
"shh… it's all good, Clarence… let me see it…" she said as he showed her his hand, she examined it carefully before removing the sting, he whined.
"shhh…. It's almost over…" she cooed, massaging the now swollen sting and kissed it, she looked up to see he had stopped crying.
"that's it, dear…" she smiled up at him and looked up, he looked down and smiled too.
"you know Meg… I… I think I love you….."
