A/N:This chapter is dedicated to RJRRA, the only reason I got up off my ass to write this.

"Are you mad." The car ride from the clinic was mostly silent; Rachel didn't know if Quinn was just giving her space to think about everything or if she was actually angry.

"What?" The other girl looked over at Rachel incredulously before turning back to the road. "No, of course not. I have no claim on Puck, nor do I want one. He's one of my best friends and we have an unbreakable bond in Beth, but I'm not mad at you for anything."

"Promise?" Normally, Rachel would have taken that answer in stride, but due to the circumstances, she was feeling a tad bit insecure.

"I promise." Thankfully, Quinn didn't seem to think that was funny; at least, she didn't laugh at her. "If anything, I'm a bit mad a Puck. You'd think he'd learn about better birth control."

"We were drunk-" Rachel started, but Quinn cut her off.

"Doesn't matter. Even drunk that man can put on a condom with two fingers." She sighed. "Can I ask if you were on birth control too?"

"Yeah, I had the patch, but I had run out about a month before." Rachel buried her face in her hands. "I can't be a mom!"

"You can, you will, and you kind of already are. Beth, remember? We're both her mom." Quinn rolled her eyes. "That kid is going to grow up so messed up."

She couldn't help it; Rachel laughed.

"Don't worry Rachel. Puck'll step up. It's in his nature, or something."

"Yeah."

They stayed silent for the rest of the car ride.

As they pulled into the driveway, Rachel felt her heart-and stomach- drop. She had to tell him. She, Rachel Berry, had to tell Noah Puckerman that he was going to be a father. Er-again.

Quinn stepped inside first, taking Beth from a waiting Puck's arms and disappearing up the stairs artfully.

"It's yours." Rachel cut straight to the point. "I'm really sorry."

He nodded like he had expected that. "Yeah."

"I don't expect anything from you."

"Rachel I'm sorry. I'll be there and I won't fuck up this time, I swear. "

"There? I'll still be right here. Unless Quinn's mom kicks me out. That would be problematic to say the least."

"You can come live with me."

"My mom's not going to kick you out! Don't worry about that!" Quinn's voice drifted down the stairs and Rachel giggled.

"You didn't…mess up last time Noah."

"Yes I did. I trusted Shelby. I knew that something wasn't right with her, I mean who has a kid for money? But I trusted her!" His expression-anger-froze and changed to fear.

"Don't give it up. God, please Rachel. I'll do anything. Just don't give it up." He rushed forward to cup her face in his hands and she could feel him shaking slightly. "I'll marry you, anything, just don't give it up for adoption or…" He couldn't finish his sentence.

"Noah, I'm not going to. I don't trust adoption any more than you do." Her cheeks flushed. "While I fully support a woman's right to choose, I couldn't do it to my child."

She settled her hand on her belly before realizing how cliché that was and moved it back to her side.

Puck's face twisted into a smile of relief and he rushed at her and swung her around into a hug, his hands wrapping around her to reach the opposite waist.

"Noah!"
"Shut up Rachel that's adorable!" Quinn called down the stairs.

"Just join us, you're listening anyway." Puck called up at her, and she came down quickly, her face unashamed and Beth pulling on her hair.

"Name it after me." Quinn said offhandedly.

"What if it's a boy?" Rachel laughed and took Beth from Quinn.

"Are you really that idiotic?" Her voice was deadpan. "Quinton. A boy could be Quinton."

"We'll think about it." Rachel said diplomatically. "Right now, I'm going to use the restroom."

"Get used to that." Quinn made a face. "Pregnancy is hell to your bladder."
