And here it is! The chapter many of you have been waiting for Teddy and Artemis's first meeting! Thanks for the reviews on the last chapter!

Disclaimer: I just checked and I still don't own Harry Potter

Teddy sat down at the table without saying a word and just stared at Artemis who in turn stared back at him. An awkward silence fell upon the kitchen until Andromeda spoke up.

"Well then, why don't we leave the two of you to get equated? Harry and I will be in the living room if you need anything."

Still a little shocked himself as Harry wasn't planning on seeing Artemis; he nodded and followed Andromeda out of the kitchen. Once again Teddy and Artemis were left sitting in silence, it was almost weird when Artemis moved to get them tea as if all they should be doing was sitting and staring at each other. Artemis placed the two cups of tea on the table and grabbed a scone before talking.

"So, Gran said that you didn't take to this well at all," said Artemis glancing at Teddy

Hearing someone else refer to his Gran as their Gran was odd for Teddy; he wasn't sure he liked it very much.

"Yeah, I can't really believe that mom would lie about something to dad or gran."

"Oh, I guess so. I've only heard stories from Kingsley so they were mainly about mom in the Auror Department or dad later when he knew him during the war."

Teddy had nothing to say about this. He had grown up hearing stories about his mom from his gran and stories about his dad from Harry. So he had felt that he knew them pretty good for never actually meeting them.

"So, what do you like to do," asked Artemis, trying to keep the conversation going

"Well, Harry taught me how to fly and I love playing Quidditch with him or when we go to the Weasleys'. I really can't wait to go to Hogwarts though since there aren't many kids my age around really the only other kids I play with are Harry's kids and the Weasleys', some of the Weasleys are close to my age though, so that's ok. We go over there a lot, it's nice; it's like a whole other family. When I'm with gran I usually just read books or walk around outside it's nice to get some peace and quiet. What about you?"

"Well, I live up in Rowena's Glen, it's an all wizard village and I went to the school they have there. I have two friends my age Alex and Julia. When the three of us are together we mainly explore the forest around the village, there are a lot of magical creatures in it, so it's cool. Sometimes we race on foot or on brooms. There aren't enough kids of the same age to play Quidditch all the time but we usually play in the summer. I like to watch Quidditch though; Kingsley tries to get me tickets to the matches for my favorite team. I do like to read, we have a whole room in our house full of books and I have even more in my room," replied Artemis

"That's cool, what's your favorite Quidditch team?"

"Well I like Puddlemere United; they have a good team make up and are a pretty tough opponent. What about you?"

"Puddlemere is good but a lot of their fans just jump on the bandwagon when they're good, I like the Chudley Cannons; Harry and Ron have taken me to a few of their matches."

"Well, just because I'm a Puddlemere fan does not mean that I'm a bandwagon fan. Kingsley has been taking me to matches since I was five and I'll have you know that they weren't doing very good then. At least they're better than the Cannons; they're the worst team in the league right now."

"Well, that's just because their seeker is horrible right now; if they got a better seeker they would win no problem!"

"They may also want a better keeper since so far this season he hasn't saved anything unless you're expecting a better seeker to catch the snitch before the quaffle even goes near the hoops."

"Well, maybe I like them no matter what!"

"That is good as you're a fan of them," said Artemis as she stood up to get more scones from the basket on the table.

Teddy slouched in his seat a bit and looked down. He hoped they weren't going to argue about everything but then the siblings in the Weasley family did seem to argue a lot at times. Glancing back up he saw that Artemis was look thoroughly interested in the scone she was holding. He guessed that she was sick of them arguing too.

"So, what are you planning to do for your, I mean our birthday since it's in few days?" asked Teddy

"My friends and I usually have a small party at my house and Kingsley does something special for me."

"Oh, Gran and I usually do something that day and then I go over to the Weasleys' with Harry's family, Why don't you come with us this year!"

"Oh well, I was kind of hoping you and I could do something, but I guess I could ask Kingsley if I could go with you to the Weasleys', I think Gran was planning on me going with you and her that morning," Artemis replied somewhat reluctantly.

"Awesome! I hope you can the Weasleys' are really fun!" replied Teddy, now full of excitement. He didn't really notice that his sister didn't seem excited about the idea.

Andromeda and Harry picked that moment to walk back into the kitchen both very glad that the two hadn't tried to kill each other and walking in behind them was Kingsley.

"Teddy, this is Kingsley he's Artemis's godfather," said Harry introducing Teddy to Kingsley

"Nice to meet you, Teddy," said Kingsley holding out his hand, which Teddy shook.

"Nice to meet you too," replied Teddy.

"Well, Artemis we must be going, we have something's we need to do before your birthday."

Artemis nodded and told Teddy, Harry and her Gran good bye and that she'd see them soon. The two headed out the door and soon you could hear the crack of apparition.

"Well, Teddy what did you think of your sister?" asked Harry as Andromeda cleaned up the kitchen.

"She seemed nice; can she come to my birthday party at the Burrow? Well, I guess it would be her party too," asked Teddy

"We'll have to see, Teddy, Artemis does have her own plans with her friends Kingsley told us, maybe she'll be able to stop by for a bit," said Harry

"Oh, ok then," said Teddy, a little put out by Harry's answer.

"Well Teddy, I'm going to head home. I'll see you in a few days for your birthday, alright?"

"Alright Harry, I'll see you then," said Teddy, giving Harry a hug.

Harry headed outside and once again a crack could be heard as he apparated. Andromeda turned to Teddy.

"Remember Teddy, you can't force Artemis to like the things that you like. You will both have to find even ground and it probably won't happen at the Weasleys'. So please keep an open mind," said Andromeda.

"I will Gran," replied Teddy before heading upstairs.

Andromeda sighed while she watched Teddy leave. She hoped he wouldn't be too forceful in his plans to bond with his sister in an attempt to make up for lost time. Rushing things could either go two ways: the first one is her experience at the Weasleys' is a pleasant one so they have something in common besides blood and their relationship progresses, or it could go the other way and it can cause a rift bigger than their differences in Quidditch teams.

So there it is! Next chapter will be their birthday and it may take a while to get up. College has given me these projects that I must do. Please review! They make me very happy and may cause me to find more time to type (hint, hint).
