Happy Belated Thxgiving, everyone! I am happy to tell you that just a week ago, I remembered that I had a fanfiction story. Haha! Ain't it funny? To be honest, I only wrote this because I was really stressed out. But I'll honestly actually try to be more frequent in updates. Well, that's that! Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I love you Masashi Kishimoto and I would never be able to pull of that amazingness that is Naruto.

The muddy haired woman wrenched her grip from the man with black unkempt hair.

The man sighed and swept his hair away from his eyes. His black eyes glared into a pair of mint green eyes, "She could have found out. A moment more and she could have. You know it so don't you start. I know you miss her, but you've got to stay away."

"Easy for you to say, Takuhi. Aren't we here to see your sister? You hypocrite." The mint eyed woman looked back longingly where Ino had walked off and went back to glare holes into her companion.

"Tenten won't remember me," he backtracked, "And even if she does, she doesn't even have a single picture of me so she won't recognize me at all. Unlike Ino. A little slip and your cover is blown Hinagiku."

"I hate you." She spat out and started to head towards the orphanage.

"That's not what you said last night." Takuhi said loudly as he noticed some villagers.

Hinagiku ignored him but he noticed the tip of her ears turned red. He sighed deeply and trudged on after her, muttering, "Of all the other girls in the village, why did sensei choose her? That bastard."

"I heard that, you ass." Hinagiku stopped at a flowery building with a huge sign post that said "MEI'S Orphanage" in all different colors. "Ugh, I hate this place. That dumb woman needs to replace this tacky sign."

"Hurry and knock."

"Don't boss me around, Taku-baka."

"Remember Hinagiku-chan, I'm your 'husband'. Play nice." Takuhi ducked a fist and went up to the door and knocked. "It's a shame. How a beauty like you could be such a bit- such a binge eater," he corrected as the door opened to a disheveled and angry young woman met them.

"Honey, eating more on a special occasion like getting a child is not binge eating," Hinagiku said softly, grabbing the back of his shirt whilst nodding to the woman. He spared her a look which she returned with a look that said, 'Binge eating? Are you an idiot?" To others, she looked like a weak and pretty wife, grasping her husband for support. In reality, she was pinching his back, digging into his skin as they entered the orphanage. She quickly let go and smoothed the back of his shirt to remove the evidence of her anger as he turned back to the other woman whose name tag read 'Ami'.

Smiling, Takuhi ignored her and smiled at the other woman. Ami was becoming flustered at the attention the black haired male gave her as he introduced themselves as the Yamamotos and promptly went on to embarrass herself as Hinagiku rolled her eyes. The incompetent woman hadn't even noticed her.

"H-hey-uhm-I mean-hello..." Ami giggled nervously as she attempted to walk backwards to the desk in the front of three corridors. She almost landed on her rear end if Takuhi hadn't caught her hand and situated her. "Th-thank you and sorry..."

Takuhi smiled, "It's quite alright, dear. It happens."

Ami blushed but became chagrined as she heard a small delicate cough behind the handsome stranger. She peeked at the figure behind him to see a beautiful, delicate young woman smiling kindly at her. She flinched when she detected a hint of malice from the young woman and immediately stepped back from the man. Schooling her facial expression into that of a professional, she managed, "Welcome to Mei's Orphanage. Are you here for an adoption? We have children that range from infants," she motioned to the left corridor, "and to age 12," she motioned to the right.

"12?! They're barely teenagers." Takuhi protested, knowing that Tenten would be 12 in a few more years. Hinagiku grimaced and focused on trying to sense their target's chakra.

"On their 12th birthday, the children who are not...chosen decide whether or not they join the shinobi forces, where the Hokage deals with their...situation. Those who don't become shinobis, are sent out to be apprentices," Ami replied, leading them to the middle corridor, where she stopped by a grand oak door. She motioned them to sit at the many chairs lined up against the walls. "Mei-sama has a visitor right now, so if you could please wait patiently. It may take awhile."

Takuhi led Hinagiku in a seat and plopped down next to her. "Why would it take long? When I read up on this orphanage, one of its benefits is quick adoption. One of the contributing reasons why we- my wife and I- chose this particular orphanage."

Ami stiffened, glancing at the door to Mei's office before looking at the couple. She hesitated before answering, "Well...you see, we have a little misfit in our orphanage who has been stealing from another girl named Suzuki. They were friends you see...but Suzuki got adopted first and maybe Tenten got jealous and stole from the poor girl. Suzuki's parents are here because what TenTen stole was extremely valuable. A heirloom, I guess. They wanted her to admit it but the stubborn idiot is feigning innocence. In fact, she claims that it was Suzuki who stole from her! Suzuki!" Ami ranted as Takuhi's aura darkened. Hinagiku gripped his hand as she felt a spike of killing intent from Takuhi. Ami noticed it too, as she froze. Hinagiku bit her lip and hoped to kami or whoever was listening that Takuhi had enough emotional control for this. She cleared her throat and whispered to Ami, "What exactly did this Tenten steal?"

Ami cleared her throat too and answered, "Some expensive ribbons."

Inwardly, Hinagiku groaned as she felt another dosage of killer intent-this one more lethal-pour out of Takuhi. "What does this ribbon look like?"

"According to Suzuki's parents, its mint green." Ami nervously glanced at the door again as they heard raised voices.

"Is it lost? Did this Suzuki girl find it? Is there any proof that Tenten stole it? Is it even this Suzuki girl's to begin with?" Takuhi hissed out, shocking both ladies. Ami because of the tone of his voice and Hinagiku because she just witnessed the normally level-headed guy had snapped.

"U-uh...I-I..." Ami stuttered, looking confused.

"Sorry about that Ami-san, my husband is passionate about such things. He is studying to be a lawyer. And believe me, its a hassle when you're with a man who wants to solve every little fight and misunderstandings," Hinagiku giggled and smiled at Ami, who visibly relaxed.

"Ah, no...I understand. But to answer your question Yamamoto-san, there is no hard evidence that Tenten stole it or that its Suzuki's to begin with but it makes more sense than the other way around. And Suzuki has the ribbon now since Mei-sama went to check in her room and found it hidden in her little box. Mei-sama gave it back to Suzuki's parents but her parents wants retribution for the crime," Ami answered but muttered quietly, "I think those little mutants trashing her place was retribution enough though...only I have to clean it up."

"Oh" The couple had heard but Takuhi was too busy trying to control his anger whilst Hinagiku was afraid to make it worse so they didn't comment.

An uncomfortable silenced grew. Hinagiku continued her search for Tenten after she decided that Takuhi wasn't going to kill anyone. Takuhi, who had calmed down, leaned into Hinagiku to 'kiss' her forehead. He brushed his lips to her temples and whispered, "Where is she?"

Hinagiku giggled softly as she noticed Ami's envious gaze on herself and Takuhi. She twisted her head slightly so that her hair covered her face from view. "She's in the attic...I say we ask to help out with the case since you're an 'up and coming lawyer'."

Takuhi grimaced but pulled back and nodded ever so slightly to her. He turned to Ami and said, "Ah, miss Ami. If you would allow me the greatest honor of assisting you in solving this case...for your ease, of course. Once my passion has been ignited, there's no way of calming it." He smiled suggestively at Ami as Hinagiku choked silently, disgusted. Ami blushed, bit her lip, a quick glance at Hinagiku-who played oblivious of course- and nodded. "I have to supervise you, though..."

"Oh of course. However, my wife can't handle strenuous activities so it'll have to be just you and me, Ami-san." Takuhi turned towards Ami and winked. Hinagiku again rolled her eyes but composed herself in record time, smiling gently at the victorious glance Ami sent her. Takuhi turned to Hinagiku and grimaced whilst saying, "Sweetheart, I can't bear to have you strain yourself so please just wait here patiently. If Mei-san is finished with her...guests, then you can start the process. I promise I won't be too long." He leaned in to kiss her forehead again, whispering, "Convince that witch that it's in her best interest to let Renren go with us. I want Tenten to leave this place. So say . Just get her out of here."

Nodding, Hinagiku replied, "Oh of course, love. Don't bully Ami-san too much." Hinagiku inwardly shuddered when she saw the look Ami gave Takuhi. It disturbed her that a 14 year old could affect that 30 something hag. The fact that it was Takuhi of all people made her light headed. In their village, he refused to even go within a 5 meter radius of a creature of the opposite sex, other than herself and his mother.

Hinagiku shook herself and focused on more pleasanter thoughts such as her dear sister. She had grown so beautifully. She was so graceful, so ethereal in her stature that it brought tears in her eyes when she remembered what she saw in them earlier. Her caution, her confusion, a hint of recognition, and her sadness. Hinagiku felt a tear roll down her face as she remembered how terrified Ino's beautiful eyes had been when she was forced to "die" and leave her on that rock as she let the waves crash into her. Every single day she cried herself to sleep as she remembered when Ino had desperately clung to her that day. It was as if she knew what was to happen. Her adorable face crumpling up when she picked her up and slowly walked to the waterfall. Ino had waved her little fists around in anger and to her shock, moved a vine to grab her ankles without hurting her, the earth becoming softer until she realized it was trying to sink her into its grasp gently. Ino had-

A loud bang pulled her out of her thoughts and she quickly wiped her tears away. She had a mission. Plus, just a little more and she could finally have her little sister again. Just a little more patience. For now, she had to focus on the fat woman who was ushering a furious couple and smirking child out of the room. Inwardly, she groaned. Damn, let's get this over with.

Hinata's heart-breaking sobs filled the alley way. Hidden between the wall and a garbage bin was a weeping Hinata. She was crouched down in the corner of the alley where she had broken down sobbing.

She thought back to the intense feeling that she had when she was fighting her sister. Her palms had suddenly itched. She had felt a terrifying urge to force her sister to burst. She had felt the liquid in her sister's system. She could hear it moving through her sister. She could feel its warmth. It was so inviting. It was too inviting...

It wasn't the first time it ever happened. At times, whenever she sparred with Neji or her Father, it happened. She felt the liquid in them. She never let the urge take possession of her. But this was the only time it was this strong. The urged had been too much that it made her cut her sister. It was a miniscule cut but it had harmed Hanabi. She had hurt her sister, the one she promised to protect with all her life.

Hinata burst into another bout of tears as she remembered Hanabi's shocked expression. It had been but a second but she saw the fear in her sister's normally emotionless eyes. Hanabi might have not noticed it herself but it was there. Disgust clung to her as she rubbed her palms against the granite, willing for the itching to leave. She whimpered at the pain of her raw skin rubbing against the rough surface of the granite.

A movement in her peripheral vision made her freeze. She quickly activated her byakugan and sighed in relief when she saw a dangerous looking cat jump on top of the garbage can she was leaning on. It was a white cat with a thin recent scar across its cat hissed at her and she whimpered. The cat lithe and agile, jumped down in front of her and peered at her with curious eyes. It's gray eyes warily scanning her form. Despite its dangerous appearance, Hinata found it extremely cute when he sniffed around her. Enthralled by its adorableness, Hinata reached out a hand to pet it. The cat reacted, hissing and lashing out to claw at her outstretched hand.

Wincing, Hinata pulled back as blood oozed out a scratch. Then she shuddered as she felt a warmth wash over her. Then the terrible feeling in her gut returned when she could feel the warm liquid a few feet away from her. The cat had come closer, almost touching her leg.

She caught her breath and held it, drawing herself in a tighter circle. Her palms itched. The cat meowed. It brushed against her leg. She felt nauseous. The pull became worse and the cat twitched. Hinata clenched her fists into tight balls. She sobbed as she felt her control slipping. She felt her palms become itchier. The pull became a vicious tug. Please, anyone. Help me... Stop me!

Suddenly, a gaggle of giggles broke through her pain. Hinata paused, confused. She looked down at the cat, who had stiffened. It's posture wary and aggressive. Another round of giggles cut through the air.

"Good job guys." A familiar voice spoke first, breathless yet amused. Hinata wiped away her tears and carefully maneuvered around the cat to grab a kunai. As thankful as she was for the distraction, she was wary of the voice's owner. It sounded like...

"Oh my Kami, if you only saw her face. She was crying!. It was so funny. I told you, your plan would work. Now she can actually reflect on how ugly she is. How undeserving she is for Neji." Hinata sucked in a breathe. She activated her byakugan and peeked at their faces. That was Suzuki! The girl who loved to bother Tenten.

The cat hissed, as if reading her emotions. Hinata looked at the cat and frowned, putting a finger at her lips to silence him. She focused on their conversation once more.

"Hehe. Yeah, Suzuki. We saw Ami lead her to the attic. She'll have plenty of time to reflect there. Good job." A third voice spoke out.

"No guys. Good job to you. I saw Tenten's room when I sneaked out from Mommy and Daddy's meeting with Mei-sama. It was wonderful. I only wished that I could have seen her face when she saw it." Hinata clenched her teeth, a wave of anger washing over her.

"So how did you convince your parents to play along?"

"It wasn't that hard. They love me too much to say no." Suzuki smirked.

"Can I see the ribbon?"

"If you give me what you guys stole from her."

"Alright." Hinata was seething in anger as she witnessed the exchange. In one of the girl's hands was a bundle of Tenten's things. Hinata recognized some of the things she, Sakura, and Ino had given her.

"It's so pretty." The other girl had picked up the ribbon that they had given Tenten. "What if Tenten's friends find out and bail her out."

"They won't. As long as Tenten is in the attic. And as long as no one tells them what's happening to Tenten, we're fine. Hmph. I still don't see how they can stand her."

"If they give her these," the other girl lifted the items, "then they must care about that trash.

"Wow, I wonder if her friends understand how unworthy that Tenten. All these," Suzuki picked up a beautiful hair ornament that Ino had given Tenten. Suzuki clicked her tongue and dropped it back in the other girl's hands, "should be given to someone like me. OH! I know! We can tell her friends that we saw her throw these out. After Tenten gets it from Mei-sama, of course. Hehehe. Imagine how they'd see Tenten then." She giggles and to Hinata's horror, pushed the items on the floor. Then she picked up her foot to stomp on them.

Hinata had had enough! But before she could move, the cat jumped out and let himself known. The other girls shrieked.

"Ew! Get away from you nasty cat!" Suzuki yelled, as the cat stalked up to them. The girls backed away.

"Su-suzuki, lets go! That cat is weird."

"B-but Tenten's stuff!"

"I honestly don't care about that trash's stuff!" One of the girls cried when the cat bared his fangs at her, hissing loudly.

"Let's just leave it!" The third girl tugged at Suzuki's arm before making a run for it. The other girl followed her, not looking back at Suzuki.

Suzuki, torn, finally ran when the cat lunged over the items towards her. "Kya! Guys, wait for me!"

The cat followed them till the corner of the alley then strutted back towards Hinata, who had ran out and gingerly picked up the items on the floor, putting them in her embroidered handkerchief. The cat meowed and rubbed against her as hot, angry tears ran down her face.

Hinata had seen and experienced the cruelness of other children but to be so cruel to Tenten. Tenten was not was a hard worker. Tenten wasn't a weak pushover as she was. She was friendly and nice to everyone she met. She wasn't an awkward child as Hinata had been. She was bright and outgoing. She wasn't painfully shy...She wasn't a monster. She didn't deserve this.

Gathering both the items and her control over her emotions, Hinata petted the cat and stood up. "I have to help Tenten, Mr. Kitty. I have to." She paused. What happened to the pull? Puzzled, Hinata examined her hands. The itch on her palm was gone, replaced by warm heat. Strange...

The cat meowed again, pulling her from her musings. "You're right, Mr. Kitty. I have to focus." Recalling what the girls had said, she thought hard. How am I going to prove that Suzuki was lying? If only...That's it! The receipt! It should be in my drawer.

Hinata stashed the handkerchief with Tenten's belongings in her pocket. Turning to the cat with determined eyes, she asked, "Thank you for protecting something important to someone very important to me, Mr. Kitty. Do you wanna come with me?"

The cat studied her before pressing its cold nose against her leg in agreement. Hinata smiled and turned away, already sprinting towards the compound.

It was quite a sight to the villagers. The Hyuga Heiress an indigo blur with a large cat chasing her. They would have been more shocked if they looked closer and saw a matching ethereal glow in the pair's eyes.

Hi guys. I'm kinda shocked some people still read this story. After avoiding my main email till a few days ago, I read some recent reviews for this story and I am ashamed to say that I didn't even remember what I wrote. I re-read it and I've decided that this is horrendous. However I am continuing it despite what I had planned. Originally, I was going crossover this with OHSHC and KHR but idk. I am going to revise it all again at some point because there are just so many errors and changes I want to make. So please bear with it. Thanks for reading this. Love you all. Yes, ALL. Even the haters.

Did you like Takuhi and Hinagiku? I wanted to give you guys a view in their personalities and relationship since they are going to be important in the girls' development. Especially in Hinata's and Tenten's.

How about the mr. Kitty? Do you like mr. Kitty? I LOVE THE DAMN CAT. I AM GUILTY. So fierce and huggable. So what if I get a couple of kitty scars? I think its totally worth it.

If you guys see any plot holes anywhere, please tell me. I wanna catch them all (;D) before I revise it. Thanks in advance!

P.S. I have updated myself on Naruto since I was just too busy for anything besides my ap classes and volunteer work for awhile and I just wanted to scream "YASSSS!" ITS CANON! NARUHINA OTP. I have devoted 7-8-ish years to this ship. Thank you Hinata and Naruto. You taught me that patience will ultimately pay off. (Do I learn something like that in any of my academic classes. NO. I learn stuff like Hamlet's Ophelia, Laertes, and Polonious are extremely close. Like borderline incest close. BUT ANYWAYS.) My favorite clothing item right now is my red scarf. I am so damn happy and so sad at the same time. It's over man. I'm having separation issues. #the struggle is real
