Disclaimer: Me no own Fullmetal Alchemist. So, a little info about this chapter, it's skipping the rest of that Week from the previous chapter, and I'm moving onto Weekend date part for now. I may add in some more parts as I go along. (That's usually how I write this, I get an idea for what happens in the chapter, and I build off of the idea I have in my head.) So, here's Chapter 8!

Chapter 8: Among the stars (Envy's POV)

-Saturday: 8:00 AM: Envy's room-

"Envy!" I hear Greed yell to my room, while I'm trying to sleep. "Phone!"

I yawn, and get out of bed to get the phone, and answer with a tired, "Hello?"

"Hey, Envy." It's the Chibi!

"What's up, Chibi?" I ask.

"I wanted to ask about what time you want to go on that date today." He says.

"Hm..." I say, looking up for a second. "How about at two?"

"Sounds good. And where do you want to meet at?" He asks.

"You can choose that, Chibi." I say.

Okay, how about the park in the city?" He suggests.

"I'm fine with that." I say back.

" Okay, well, I have to go, Envy, see you then." He says.

"Bye." I say, hanging the phone up, and go back to bed.

-1:30 PM: The Park-

"I'm pretty damn early, oh well. I guess I can just take a seat and wait." I think to myself. "Question is, why did I bring Wrath?!"

"Envy?" Wrath asks me.

"What?" I respond, looking him in the eye.

"Can I have some money to go to McDonald's?" He asks.

"Why?" I ask him, listening closely.

"I wanna meet a friend there, and have lunch there." He says.

"Fine, here's ten dollars." I say, giving him some money from my wallet.

"Thanks, Envy." He says, walking away.

"What to do while waiting for Chibi?" I say in my head.

-30 minutes later-

"Hey, Envy." I hear the Chibi say.

"Hi, Chibi!" I say, excitedly getting up off of the bench. "Nice day for a walk, isn't it?"

"I guess so." He says, shrugging.

"So, what do you today?" I ask him, looking him in the eye, then, all of a sudden, it seems like he just went into a trance. "Chibi? Hey! Chibi, snap out of it!"

Suddenly, he breaks out of the trance and says, "Wha...oh. Hm...does a walk sound good to you?"

"Yeah, works for me." I say.

"Any ideas where we could go?" He asks.

"How about that new Pizza restaurant, Galileo's?" I suggest, moving my feet.

"That sounds good to me." He says, following me.

"So, what do you like to do in your free time, Chibi?" I ask as we walk.

"Usually I like to study science related subjects. Stuff you'd probably be bored by." He says, following me by my right side.

"Do you do anything not related to science?" I ask him.

"Well, I do play video games with my brother sometimes." He says.

"Ah." I say, with the two of us still walking.

"Yeah." He says.

"Well, here we are, Galileo's." I say, walking to the door, and holding it for the Chibi. "Ladies first!"

-After ordering the pizza-

What to talk about? Hm...

"So, Envy, when were you born?" The Chibi asks me.

" February 28, 1996, what about you, Chibi?" I respond, while waiting for our pizza.

"February 21, 1998." He says, looking out of the restaurant window now.

"Is something wrong, Chibi?" I ask him.

"No...nothing's wrong, I'm just thinking about...onions!" He says suspiciously.

"Onions? Okay..." I say, adjusting my headband to feel more comfortable.

"Here's your pizza...Ed, is that you, with Envy?" Says Ling, the Asian kid from the first day, handing us our pizza.

"Ling, you work here?" The Chibi asks him.

"Well, yeah, I need to make some money somehow!" Ling says.

"Shouldn't you get back to work?" I ask Ling, grabbing a slice of the pizza.

"Right. I'll AIM you tonight, Ed. Okay?" He says, walking back to the counter.

"Okay." Ed says, grabbing a slice of pizza, and turning his attention to the window again.

"Chibi, if something's troubling you, you can talk to me about it..." I start saying, until he looks at me and says, "It's a personal matter, Envy."

"Still, it's not good to keep problems bottled in. It's best to have someone to turn to when you can." I say, taking a bite of my slice.

"...Can you promise that you'll keep this between you and me?" He asks.

"Yes, I'll keep it a secret, if you want me to." I say, looking him in the eye, staying as serious as I can.

"My mom's in a coma. She's been in it for the past two years." He says, trying not to cry.

"Aw, Chibi. Do you have any idea how it started?" I ask him.

"Both me and the doctors have no clue. She fell to the floor, asleep two years ago, today. She's still in the hospital to this day." He says, still trying to hold back tears.

"I'm sorry, Chibi. Do you want to go home?" I ask him, finishing my slice.

"If that's okay with you." He says, looking me in the eye, his golden eyes all sorrow filled.

"I'm fine with it." I say, getting up from my chair, holding my hand out for him. As he gets out of his chair, he grabs my hand and holds it. "Shall I walk you home, Chibi?"

"Why not?" He says as I leave some money on the table, and as we walk out of Galileo's.

That was Chapter 8! Well, it took me a bit to come up with some ideas for the date, but I guess you guys can guess where I'm taking Envy and Ed's relationship. Oh! And I have a new FanFiction planned to be released in a month, as well as more chapters of this story!

Envy: Just keep your promise, Fullmetal112.

Ed: Please, I really want to get on with the story.

Me: Okay, okay, I'll work out a new deadline...that I'll mention in the next chapter!

Both: Why not now?!

Me: I'm a bit busy in my personal life.

Anyway, aside from Envy and Ed interrupting me, I'd like to say this, if you enjoy my writing, and you know someone who might like this story, feel free to tell them about it, I'd appreciate it! So, until next time, I hope you guys have a good day.
