After traveling a ways through the forest, the animals stopped and pulling back some bushes. Snow White and the ponies looked over and saw a small cottage sitting by a river in the sunshine. Snow White was delighted.

" Oh it's adorable; just like a doll house!" She said, coming out of the bushes and making her way to it.

" Well, she's good. Let's leave." Rainbow Dash said, preparing to fly off, but Twilight pulled her back.

" No. We're not leaving! Didn't you listen to what I said?"

" Sorry."

" Okay. Let's continue then."

The ponies left the bushes and followed Snow White over the bridge and up to the door of the cottage.

" I like it here." She told them before noticing the fogged up window.

" Let's take a peek inside."

Her and the ponies got to the window and wiped the stuff away. They couldn't see anything.

" It's dark inside." Snow White said.

" I guess nobody's home." Fluttershy replied.

" Well, there's only one way to know for sure."

She went back to the door and knocked a couple of times. No answer.

" You're right."

Rainbow Dash smacked her face and shook her head in annoyance before being elbowed by Applejack, who casted a glare at her. Then she looked over and noticed Snow White curiously begin opening the door. Her, Twilight, and Fluttershy quickly stopped her.

" Whoa, there. You can't just invite yourself into someone's home." Applejack told her.

" Yes. Who knows what could be living here." Fluttershy agreed.

" I'm sorry. It's just that the door was opened." Snow White tried to explain.

" Maybe it's a surprise party!" Pinkie said.

" Not likely dear. Did you see all that fog on the window? It's probably filthy inside." Rarity replied.

" Or abandoned." Rainbow Dash added.

Twilight stepped in front of Snow White before she could go in any further.

" Let me go first." She told her.

Twilight lit her horn up and slowly walked inside, examining her surroundings. Nothing but clutter and dust everywhere. When it was all okay, she motioned everyone to come in, including the animals.

" This isn't right. We're breaking into someone's home!" Rarity exclaimed.

" We aren't breaking anything. We're just walking into someone's strange, creepy cottage." Pinkie replied happily with Rarity just rolling her eyes.

While checking it out, Snow White saw a small chair and gasp, causing the animals to flee outside.

" What is it?" Fluttershy asked her.

" What a cute little chair!" She said as she gleefully sat down in it before noticing that there were more chairs like it.

" Why, there's seven little chairs!" She continued.

The ponies looked and examined them.

" These chairs are kind of cute." Pinkie said, feeling one of the chairs out.

" Yes, and the cravings are just gorgeous!" Rarity complimented.

" I wonder who lives here?" Twilight questioned.

" Must be seven little children." Snow White concluded.

She then stood up and walked over to the table.

" And from the look of this table, seven untidy little children."

While Twilight and her friends were still gazing at the chairs, none of them haven't noticed the gigantic mess that stood before them.

" Well said." Rarity agreed, staring distasteful at it.

" Looks like my tables after our family reunions." Applejack added.

Snow White and them found all kinds of things on it. A pickax, a stocking. Snow White even found a shoe inside a pot. They then inspected the whole house and soon discovered that the whole house was completely dirty and was a mess in itself.

" Who could live like this! Nothing is organized!" Twilight blurted out as she went through some disorganized dishes.

Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy found themselves covered in dust after they blew some off off some furniture.

" Well, at least she's safe." Rainbow Dash told them sheepishly.

While Snow White wondered why nothing was clean, she came to the conclusion that the children were orphans and had no mother. She turned to her friends and the animals who had returned.

" I know! We'll clean the house and surprise them. Then maybe they'll let me stay!"

All of them, except for Rainbow Dash, agreed. Twilight and Rarity being the most excited.

" Uh, girls?" Rainbow Dash whispered, pulling her friends in so Snow White couldn't hear them.

" We're supposed to be finding jewels, not doing housework!"

" Please let us help her. She needs us right now!" Fluttershy pleaded.

" Listen. I think there's more to her than what we're letting on, so let's just keep going on with my plan." Twilight explained, but Rainbow Dash still wasn't sure.

" And when we're all finished, I'll cook up a nice hot soup." Snow White said, her words making Rainbow Dash's stomach growl.

" Okay, I'm in." She said, now convinced.

Snow White took off her robe and gave everyone instructions. Fluttershy repeated the instructions back to the animals and then they all went to work. Twilight and Rarity cleaned the dishes, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash blew the dust away, and Applejack and Pinkie Pie got rid of the cobwebs, with Snow White sweeping and singing as the animals helped out too. Outside, the animals washed the clothes and occasionally, the ponies would go out and help them.

" This is hard work!" Rainbow Dash complained, washing some clothes in the water.

" I think it's fun." Fluttershy replied, smiling as she used her wings to dry the clothes.

" Really? This is nothing compared to doing chores on the farm. I like to see you try it." Applejack remarked, squeezing the water out of the clothes as Rainbow Dash ignored her.

Snow White, the ponies, and the animals kept working well into the night. The cottage was completely clean by the time they were finished.

" Nice job, girls." Twilight yawned.

" Yeah. But if you haven't noticed, we wasted a whole day!" Rainbow Dash informed her friends, all of them looking outside, which was now dark.

Twilight and the rest of them knew Rainbow Dash was right and that they shouldn't be messing around too much. They had a town to save.

" Okay. We'll stay for the night and leave early tomorrow." Twilight told them.

" What about Snow White?" Fluttershy asked.

" She'll be fine. We did everything that she needed. She has shelter and the animals will keep her safe. Though I'm still curious about her, I can't keep investigating forever. We're on a time limit."

Her friends agreed and nodded their heads, though they felt bad about leaving Snow White behind. Then they saw her pass them with a lit candle in her hand. Snow White walked over to the stairs and looked up, the only room in the house that she and the ponies haven't been to yet.

" Let's see what's upstairs." She said, starting to walk up.

The ponies followed close behind her and reached the top. Snow White slowly opened the creaking door. In the room, there were seven little beds.

" Oh what adorable little beds!" She smiled.

Upon inspecting them, they all had names on them.

" Doc, Sneezy, Dopey. What funny names for children." She giggled.

" No kidding. Who would name somepony Grumpy?" Rarity said, reading off another name.

" Maybe Cranky Doodle?" Rainbow Dash giggled.

Snow White read off the rest of the names before letting out a tiring yawn, which turn made the others yawn as well. She layed down across three of the beds and fell asleep. The ponies helped tuck her in.

" The darling had a long day." Rarity said, making sure Snow White was tucked in good.

" She sure did." Applejack agreed.

After they made sure she was comfortable, Twilight started making her way to one of the remaining beds.

" I think it's time we hit the hay ourselves." She told her friends, getting into a bed.

" Yep." Pinkie yawned, climbing into one too.

" Girls, these aren't our beds!" Rarity pointed out.

" I'm too tired to care." Rainbow Dash replied, flying into bed and falling asleep.

" It's just for the night Rarity." Applejack softly told her, getting herself comfortable.

Fluttershy flew to Snow White's bed and slept next to her.

" Well, I for one..." Rarity started to say before letting out a big yawn.

She sleepily stared at the remaining bed.

" Oh forget it." She said and immediately got in the bed and was sound asleep.

The animals were tired too and joined them. Soon, the room was filled with peaceful snoring.
