Harry Potter: Bellum et mos

Chapter 8: Apocrypha/Grand Order

It was time... time for the new Grail to start... this ritual, this war. But this was no good, the teams where evenly divided, the forces split into 2 groups, one obeying the order of the Dark Lord, Lord Voldemort, and those of the light, heralded by Harry Potter and his 2 Friends, Hermione and Ron.

The servant that regulates this war was called into action to enact the fail-safe mechanism for this war, and by decree of Alaya was given a bodyguard, to protect her in case any would try to use and abuse her power, should she ever fall into the wrong hands

Servant Class: Ruler

Beast of Alaya: Heroic Spirit/ Counter Guardian EMIYA

Survivor of the 5th Holy grail, as well as his alternate having made all pacts with Alaya for the cost of his wish.

"To be a hero of justice, I will sell you my soul, so that I may continue doing so even in death"

The wish of a foolish man.

What brought him back to the 5th grail war.

The 5th Grail war was his chance to undo his mistake... in order to remove himself from his indentured service.

His thoughts where the following, Kill his past self so that he would never done that wish.

However, that came with the false assumption that this Shirou and himself where the same.

There are an infinity of worlds where the entity known as Emiya Shirou, who was saved by Kiritsugu Emiya, and was ingrained that self-destructive way of thinking.

To be an Ally of justice.

Yes, there are many Emiya Shirou's in the multiverses, and due to that, EMIYA could not tell with a 100% certainty that he was going to kill the correct one. However, due to him being Emiya Shirou as well, his abilities,, his thoughts, his life, synchronized with his past self, due to a resonance, regardless of his status as a heroic spirit, as they where, in the most deepest part, a part that CANNOT be changed, the same person.

And so, The Shirou he fought, the one he lost against... was able to get a rough sketch of his own abilities due to the synchronization. He wondered what was he doing now, that the time-line had diverted so much from other realities... he remembered being summoned in another Grail War in deep space... where he fought against another Archer, an exact copy of himself, this Archer, looked like himself, but his story was different, he was a heroic spirit of someone who wanted to represent justice, and modeled himself as the perfect ally of justice... and the result was of someone who looked and had the identical abilities of the heroic spirit EMIYA.

Still he has his new job, as a bodyguard for Ruler, who was in fact Joan du Arc...

He sighed, he never thought he would be back to this world, let alone like this, still... this reality had diverted much, he never heard of this place.

"Hogwards? What kind of name is that? And what are these ridiculous bounded field... even an amateur like me could break them if I was to my past self" EMIYA said.

"Yes, their magic is potent, but the way they formulate their magic leaves a lot to be desired, it feels... stagnant, but has a charming point so to speak" Joan said.

"Still if anything their drinks are good, I never had something like this firewiskey... it even did something to brush against my magical resistance..." EMIYA said as he took a drink at a local pub close to the school they had to enter.

"I am rather fond of the Butterbeer myself" Joan said.

"So, when is the activation for the fail-safe?" EMIYA asked.

"It should start in 3 days time... once it activates it will allow other people to be servants and have an equilibrium, and after the fighting I will judge who is the one most worthy to hold the prize" Joan said.

She felt a bit unsettled at where she was.

"You don't really like this place, do you?" EMIYA said.

"Considering what happened to me last time I was here" she said.

"Ahh... I see, so it's about that" he said with a smirk.

"I am still traumatized... I might have gone trough it willingly, but being on the stake still hurts you know?" she said.

"Yes, and because you are in this country, your parameters are lowered by a single rank, due to your history in this country... don't worry, even if I was a human again, I would still be more than enough to protect you" EMIYA said.

"Still we need to get a room, we need to trek all the way up there and the wards, while not really strong, are numerous, I rather not have to waste so much time, my innate ability help me, and your magical resistance as well, but it is still annoying, not to mention it makes us waste time, so in 3 days we should be getting to the school and activate the fail-safe... it has to be done there since most of the servants are in that single location, otherwise anywhere else would be good" Joan said.

"I see... then as your bodyguard I will do all in my power to make sure you accomplish this" EMIYA said.

After leaving a few coins on the table they left the pub.

Hogwards School of Wizardy 3 days later Night time

Joan and EMIYA went to the School, using their innate magic resistance, they managed to get inside the school, however the armors reacted to their presence.

Their turned towards them, their blades drawn out.

"Automatic defense mechanism?" He said as he materialized his own set, ready to attack at a moments notice.

The armors turned to Joan.

"You GOT to be kidding me" she said as she glared the armors.

"We are not here to harm anyone, we are here to be start a ritual, please do not stop us, you can sense what we are, do you not? So, as to not waste any time, and do any unneeded battles, please allow us to pass, we will not endanger anyone with this ritual" Joan said.

The came closer.

"Should you attempt to stop her... I will be forced to destroy you all" EMIYA said as he traced an anti-magical spear, it would render the charms that animate the armor null and thus just be decorative pieces.

The armors could feel the power from the spear and backed off.

"It seems English's hatred to you still runs deep" EMIYA said.

They walked to the main hall.

Once they reached the main hall they turned into their astral form, they descended down the main Hall's floors into a hidden chamber where a magical circle that was as wide as 4 miles around.

It was a magical circle reminiscing of the Einzbern's Heaven's Feel, but it felt bastardized, however, it was doing the job it was intended to do... the anchor for the Grater Grail.

The working was near identical, so it was easy to manipulate.

"By the command of the one who is the Ruler, I command you, initiate the fail-safe, start the Apocrypha system" Joan said.

The ground glowed as the sigil powered up... power that rushed outward.

"The ritual has been completed" she commented.

"so... more servant and master slots have opened?" Archer asked.

"Yes, that is correct, but not all of them will align with either side, some might have their own aims after all" Joan said.

"I still worry... I hope none try to go after you... if they kill you... the Holy Grail War would become even more chaotic, however I felt something a the activation of the Fail-safe" EMIYA said.

"Oh? What was it?" she asked.

"It is flawed, so no inherently good heroes would also come, then again, hero is a bit of a misnomer for the throne of heroes, as you know" EMIYA said.

"Ah... I see... so those kind will also make it trough?" Joan asked.

"or have, in any case, let's just go to the pub, this place is not sitting well with me and I don't know about you, but since I got stuck as a Counter Guardian my job is both boring, soul crushing and repetitive, I could use more than just a few drinks, or is the Holy Lady or Orleans a weak drinker?" EMIYA said with his trademark sarcastic smile.

Joan glared at him.

But that is a story for another time

Hogwards school for wizardy the next night

Luna Lovegood, a Ravenclaw that had an aura of dottiness, she was an odd duck in every sense, she was rather pretty, straggly, waist-length, dirty blonde hair, very pale eyebrows and protuberant eyes that gave her a surprised look. She was a kind person who many people would misunderstand due to her believing in magical creatures that have not been discovered yet, or identified, it did not help that her father ran a tabloid newspaper called "The Quibler"

She was in a empty classroom as she tried out a magic her mother had been researching long ago before her... tragic accident, she had some ties with the Magus Association in order to learn more about magecraft, and thus began research on both sides Ministry and Magus Association.

A rather large parchment was with her this year looking trough it she had reached to the conclusion that she could summon someone who would help her attain her wish.

Her wish was a simple one, shared with her father, to find all the rare UMCs (Unidentified Magical Creatures) that live in this world.

She unfolded the parchment and left it on the floor of the empty classroom, she then used her magic to transfer the ink into the floor and made a perfect copy of the sigil.

She had a small trinket her mother had left of her... a metal part of a sword of ages past, soaked in the blood of a dragon. The metal was VERY old, yet the only thing that was attached to it was not rust but the flecks of the dried blood on it.

She then recited the spell to summon the spirit that would help her gain her wish.

"Silver and iron to the origin. Gem and the archduke of contracts to the cornerstone. The ancestor is my great master Schweinorg.

The alighted wind becomes a wall. The gates in the four directions close, coming from the crown, the three-forked road that leads to the kingdom circulate.
Shut (fill). Shut (fill). Shut (fill). Shut (fill). Shut (fill).
Repeat every five times.
Simply, shatter once filled.
――――I announce.
Your self is under me, my fate(doom) is in your sword.
In accordance with the approach of the Holy Grail, if you abide by this feeling, this reason, then answer.
Here is my oath. I am the one who becomes all the good of the world of the dead, I am the one who lays out all the evil of the world of the dead.
You, seven heavens clad in three words of power, arrive from the ring of deterrence, O keeper of the balance ―――!" she said as she poured her magic into the sigil on the ground.

Light emanated from the floor a localized whirlwind threatened to blow her away, but as suddenly as it came, it ended...

A man was standing on the sigil... he was tall and was dressed in white, with half an armor on his chest and legging resembling that of dragons... he had flowing brown hair, he took a knee...

"I ask of thee... young lady... be you my master?"

Luna was entranced by the man... she could feel the raw power on him... so she looked into her hand as she felt a tingle of pain... a sigil of sorts was now on her hand.

"Well... I believe I am... will this serve as proof?" She asked

The man looked upon her hand, gently touching it and inspecting it.

"Yes... you are most definitely my master..." he said as he smiled sweetly at the girl. "I am called Rider... may our journey be vast and fruitful" the man, now introduced as Rider said as he smiled beatifically at the young lass.

She smiled to him as well...

Malfoy's manor

"Voldemort... Lord Voldemort... I have achieved it... I gotten a catalyst to use for the ritual" a Death Eater said.

"Good... place it here..." Voldemort said as he saw the catalyst.

It was the heart of an infant child from the 15th century from France.

"From such a dirty place? Our country's magic is the strongest... I hate this but there is nothing to be done... summon the servant using that old tome and be done with it" Voldemort said in anger.

He had a strong hatred for magic not of this country.

Everything was perfect in here, save for the contamination of the filth called mud-blood and the treason of the blood-traitors... a mistake he would correct.

After the Sigil was drawn and power used to call forth the servant a man appeared on top on the summoning circle.

"I am Servant Caster... per your summoning I have come forth... I ask of thee... are ye my master?"

This servant looked... unhinged..., dressed in dark and red with eyes that seemed to pop-out of it's sockets, the servant smile was... terrifying.

Voldemort smiled... a hero of the past that used magic... even if it was not of this country he would at the very least learn and utilize such thing to further his agenda.

"Prepare the rest of the catalysts" Voldemort ordered as he left with Berseker.

The Death Eaters continued to try and summon more servants to their cause.

Voldemort's wish was their own, and he won't be denied.

Male dormitory, Griffindor Tower

Caster shifted around, she caught an unusual scent in the air... was it change perhaps? Her divination had told her that a big change would be coming and thus alerted her master and his 2 friends.

She and her two fellow servants felt the summoning of a new servant, it seems that there was a change in the air...

They would have to be more careful now, if it was an unfriendly servant, it was quite possible that a battle could take place, and thus it would endanger their master and the innocents to this war.

"So... a new servant has appeared..." Archer said as he leaned against the windowsill, looking into the night sky.

"Yes, I also felt an activation of something in the grail system workings, it seems... this won't be a normal grail war, information was updated to us, I know you now know about it" Caster said.

"Yes... I felt it too, how annoying... but still, this means we do not have to fight each other, and I will find another one of my same class and have a glorious battle worthy of the Olympus pantheon" She said as she puffed her chest.

"Well, she is ok with it" Archer said.

"Still something is odd... the rules have changed... the grail has possibly informed all of us about this protocol, but due to an error in it it was hard opened and more than the regular 2 teams have been opened." Caster said.

"So... there will be more than 2 classes of each servant?" Archer asked to confirm.

"It seems so, yes" Caster said.

"It matters not, that way we do not have to fight each other, only our enemies" Saber said.

"But the question is... how to tell who is with us, and who is not" Caster said.

"We will cross that bridge when we get there" Saber said.

Just then, Harry and Ron woke up, thankfully their servants where astralised when they where discussing it all.

"So... the Grail's default setting has changed? Is that even possible?" Ron asked as he was still half awake.

"It's made possible due to the sorcery that runs this, called the Kaleidoscope... a sorcery, unlike the magic you kids use, is different as it overrules the laws of nature and magic, in this case, this magic connects to parallel worlds" Caster explained as Ron then told Harry, he was a bit numbed at the revelation of magic that was so unreal. They where taught of the limitations of magic, to learn that something that can bypass such things... something so far out of the spectrum.

"Anyway, praetor, I recommend you get ready, classes start early" Saber said.

They hurried down as they changed, not before showering and got to classes.

Classes where boring but once it was time for lunch Crabbe, Goyle and Draco received a rather sizable package each, they looked around as they slithered away to their classes, careful as to not attract any undue attention.

Which, of course, being that those 3 caused mischief and harassed everyone of 'questionable blood status', them being quiet was rather... odd.

Still, they had to prepare for the next class, their servants would await a few classes away from them, so they would be close, yet far away enough to not entice other servants to battle.

"Hey mate, I heard lots of things from Fred and George, this Tousuca woman is the real deal" Ron said.

"Ron, she is called Tohsaka, honestly, is not that hard a name" Hermione said.

"Well, it doesn't matter, I wanna see what she has to offer" Ron said.

"You just think she is attractive" Hermione said with a heated glare.

Ron shrugged unrepentantly.

They entered the room.

They where greeted by a sizable desk and 2 smaller ones.

They all sat down for their Defense Against the Dark Arts.

"Welcome on... please have a seat", the dark haired one said.

Everyone sat down as she looked around, the red haired man and the blond haired girl at the smaller desks next to hers.

"My name is Rin Tohsaka, you will call me Professor Tohsaka or Tohsaka-sensei, any other form will be seen as a disrespect towards my person" the teacher said. "My two assistants, Shirou Emiya, and Arthuria Pendragon will be here to assist me with teaching, while I will teach you all about curses and the like, they will teach other ways of combating dark creatures."

"Great... we have a mudblood teaching now... how fun" Draco said as Pancy Parkison, a girl with rather pug-like face, snorted at that, making her look even worst than usual.

Tohsaka then pointed at Draco with an extended index towards him, like a pretend gun.

A dark sphere with red highlights appeared on her finger and shot out towards Malfloy, only to divert downwards at the last second... the spell, if it could be called as she had used no wand, managed to carve itself the wood.

"Listen to me, I will not tolerate such language in my class, so shape up, or leave my class" she said

"When my father hears about this..." he said.

"Do I look like I care, it seems you are a weak mage, if you must be going to your father's with your pathetic whining to hold your hand, should you wish to shape up I may be able to make you half-way competent... I been known to make miracles before" she said.

"Now please... follow this plan of lesson, we will be learning magic's evolution with the time among other things" and thus she begun to explain and demonstrate things to the class.

After class

"That... was... totally BONKERS!" Ron said with a smirk.

It was as if Christmas came early.

"Did you see how she handled that Malfloy prat? oh... how I wish I could use a pensive and relieve that memory" Ron said with a smile.

"I think she did something too dangerous! That could have really harm him" Hermione said, being the ever so wonderful voice of reason.

"I can't say I sympathize... he had been a rather pain in the arse, not to mention is rather refreshing seeing a teacher give him a right for, rather than just a 'stern talking to'" Harry said.

"I... I suppose if you put it that way" Hermione said, relenting as he was a bit of a prat.

"I can't wait to learn from her... or the other lovely bird, seems a bit too serious tough" Ron said with a smirk.

Hermione simply huffed, but then she smirked "well... let's see what Caster would say about that" she said.

"W... wait... no... you are kidding right? Right? Hermione? HERMIONE!" he said as he chased after her.

Harry sighed, but he was in good spirits, what the professor did really put him in a rather good mood.

However, someone else was not in a good mood, you could say, someone was rather cross and pissed.

Due to new events and the arrival of his catalyst, he would summon his own servant, one to punish that 'bitch'

"How dare she... HOW DARE THAT FILTHY MUDBLOOD DISHONOR ME! A PUREBLOOD!" he yelled as he rampaged around the dungeon.

That woman had effectively made a fool out of him, and to talk that way to HIM, scion of the Malfoy's, that would not do, he would not let this stand.

"I will do it... I will punish that bitch and spill her filthy blood" he said as he prepared himself, he would look for a empty place to do this, but he had to NOT tell anyone about this... not even Severus Snape must know.

And so... at the dark covers of night he took towards an empty classroom he had scouted prior to this night, it was close and spacious enough for what he had to do.

He was given a task... from the Dark Lord himself, he would not bring shame to his family's name.

He did everything as instructed and laid the catalyst in it.

A small crustal vial with a half broken mask with dried blood on it.

The blood was rather old... REALLY old.

He placed it in the summoning circle, he recited the long chant... he needed someone who would harm her... silently... clean.

and so...

A clean clad gentleman appeared from the summoning sigil, he was tall, easily 6 feet tall and slender.

"Servant Assassin has come, I await your orders my lord" Assassin said as he bowed.

Servant Assassin, a servant that was not meant for the front lines... it attacked by killing silently, this suited Draco nicely, he wanted her dead, her body to all to see humiliated... broken.

"Assassin... I have some work for you" Draco said with a evil smirk.

His servant looked at him eagerly awaiting for orders.

"This woman... I want you to kill her and leave her in a humiliating pose for all to see... I want her to scream... I want her to cry and beg!" he said.

Assassin smiled.

"Yes, my lord" he said with a smile.

And so Assassin left the room in a wisp of black smoke.

"That will show that filthy Mudblood" Draco said with a satisfied smirk.

It was high time in midnight... Rin had decided to go and patrol, Shirou and Arthuria would do the same on the opposite side of the castle.

She sighed, this castle was rather large, why on earth would you need such a large castle if only 1/4th of it was used, there weren't that many students to deem the use of the whole castle.

She was on the main hall... she was being careful, she knew that there was a servant here... but was unsure who it was.

Then... all of the sudden her hair stood up, like a cat when it senses danger.

She rolled forward, avoiding a hit, that cracked the floor.

"Oh? My, how delightful, it seems like you sensed me... was it my over eagerness perhaps?" a gentleman with glasses said as he bowed to Rin. "I am Servant Assassin... I am sorry, but due to my job's description I must do my assignment... but don't worry, it's a job I take great pleasure on doing" he said as he re-arranged his gloves and smiled, slowly stalking up to her.

"A servant!" she said in shock.

"oh... you know of us? You are not a mage... are you from the association... well sorry about this... but orders are orders"

He disappeared in a wisp of black smoke.

Rin put her hands on her coat's pocket... then fiddling with something she threw it backwards.

"Ausbruch!" she said as she threw the red gem the begun to glow.

She rolled forward as the gem exploded violently, the servant was caught unaware of it and was blasted backwards.

"Gugh!" he groaned in pain, the attack would have blasted a human to pieces, and hurt a magus quite a lot... but as a servant he was much more resistant... and so he went for the kill...he re-appeared in front of her.

He had a kind smile, one that was out of place to the act he was about to do.

"Please, die quickly... I have other duties to do after all" he said as he was about to pierce her chest with his bare hands.

"SHUCK!"

Assassin jumped out of the way as he heard something approach at high speeds.

He snatched the projectiles in mid-flight

"Gugh!"

There where 2 more arrows in the shadow of the first... both with a high acting poison.

"Tsk..." he grunted as his hand was pierced by an arrow and stabbed against the wall.

"Seems like it paid off to wander around the castle... sorry about that young lady" the green wearing servant of the bow said as he jumped down from a balcony.

Assassin glared at the Archer...

"You alright little miss?" Archer said.

"You are a servant too... what are you all doing in here? Fuyuki not good enough?" she asked.

"Fuyuki?" Archer said with a confused stare.

She pulled her index finger at him "Talk... even if you have magic resistance, a point blank attack will NOT be pretty"

"You wouldn't harm the person who just saved you... right?" he said with a smile.

"I would if they are lying to me..." Rin said as she stared at the servant

"As pleasant as being pinned against the wall is... I am afraid I must scurry off... it seems I made a miscalculation... not knowing a servant was near... but rest assured... I shall come back for your heart mylady" Assassin said with a cruel and evil smile as he vanished into dark wisps.

"Damn it... why is it that those keep getting away from me?" Archer said as he grimaced at having a second Assassin in the castle.

"You said those... what do you mean? What is going on... why are you servants in here?" Rin further questioned.

"Woah... easy there kitty cat... I mean you no harm, I just saved you" Archer said.

She glared at the Archer.

"Peeves!? is that you making that racket! When I find you... oooohhhh... you are going to get it now!" Filch... the squib yelled.

Archer took that as Rin faltered at the sudden scream and vanished by astralising.

"Damn it... he got away... damn it that old crow... but what on earth are there more servants... and he also said those... that means there are more than a single Assassin... damn it... this is not good" she said as she bit her fingernail.

She walked with her back against the wall... this was rather weird, this was not one of the Hassan... but a completely different servant.

But she knew... that this servant was dangerous... specially his stats:

Alignment: Chaotic Evil

Strength: B

Endurance:C

Agility: A

Mana:D

Luck:D

Noble Phantasm: B

Presence Concealment: A

This Assassin, was rather powerful, strength and agility wise, and his presence concealment being in rank A.

She had managed to get into the room... and set up the wards she had done in her home and Shirou's home once she moved in, and recreated them in the room, to keep the room and detect Assassin, or at least detect any negative emotions directed towards the inhabitants of the room.

Once Shirou and Arthuria came back she gave them the grim news.

"Two servants of the Assassin class?!" Shirou said in shock.

Arthuria grimaced, this would be rather complicated, she never heard of multiple servants of the same class, Gilgamesh excluded as he was a survivor of the last war and managed to remain in this world.

"How did you manage to get away, if that Assassin servant was as strong as you say?" Arthuria asked.

"Another servant managed to save me, this one was a servant Archer" Rin said.

Shirou blinked.

"Do you have a strange affinity to that particular class of servants? It's not the first time an Archer saves you" Shirou said with a smirk.

Rin glared at him and pouted, yes... her servant was also an Archer... and considering who her Archer was in life...

"A... anyway... this Archer was at least good one... I mean that he cared that no one got killed and rescued me, I couldn't see his stats, it was lucky that the old mog caretaker was there and distracted them so I could flee" Rin said.

"We must be careful... you still have the command sigils of the last war, so don't hesitate to use them" Arthuria said.

"But... why would that servant want to attack you?" Shirou asked.

"He said he was 'under orders', that means it's someone I know, but who?" Rin said.

Unknown to her, the heir of the Draco was seething, servant Assassin had come with the grave news.

"You forgot to tell me that the one you wanted dead was a magus, and quite a competent one at that" he said as he changed his outfit that was singed, a slight bruise was on his chest, his hand that was pierced by the arrows had healed, and changed the white gloves, he licked his own blood clean.

"Wh... what?! A magus? Damn it... is she... the one that is supposed to regulate the war?" Draco asked, he had read something about that from the many manuscripts that the older boy... Shinji, had brought with him and thus was worried.

"I am not sure, but she knew enough to be able to fight me off, still if that other servant had not interrupted me...well, I would have killed her in just a few seconds, still she was very skilled, probably she would be able to hold until help would have come to disturb me, I would have 2 dead bodies, but the intended target would be dead, but the second one would arise more suspicion, thus decreasing, my effectively usage" Assassin said.

Draco was angry, but controlled himself, there where many unknowns, why was someone from the Magus association in here?! Why was one like them allowed in here?

"Damn it... this is not good... and she recognized you as a servant too?" Draco asked.

"Yes, it seems that either she is well versed... or was involved in the holy grail war previously" Assassin said as he sat down after he brewed some tea for Draco and himself.

"So... we must stop attacking her until she lowers down her guard them... but as you said she was used to this... we need to attack her, if not directly... harm those she cares the most... we shall go after that red haired mudblood of hers... that will show her" Draco said with a triumphant smirk

"Excellent idea my lord, thought I prefer the killing of females, I am sure I am quite good with the opposite sex as well" Assassin said as he cleaned his glasses.

He sighed as someone coughed behind him.

It was the 'other' Assassin, the one his father lend him until he was able to summon his own.

To be honest, it was rather... insulting to his person that a heroic spirit would be a filthy muggle, but not all of them where simple... some of them where blessed with abilities, skills and or strength that made them powerful... and this Assassin was not a muggle nor a mudblood, she had an air of ancient nobility...

"Assassin, can you relay a message to my father? I am rather... concerned that normal methods of communications might be compromised and I would like for him to tell me how to get the most use out of my servant... and how to become a better master" Draco said.

"I have my own way to send him a message" she said as a white dove appeared and took the message.

"She should be arriving in 2 hours" Assassin said with a smile.

"Protect my father Assassin..." Draco said.

"yes... Master's son" she said with a slight bow as she astralized.

"Another time... filthy mudblood" he said as he thought evil thoughts on the new teacher, Tohsaka Rin.

The next morning

Rin had little to no sleep, servant Assassin are very good at killing and bypassing securities systems, mundane or magical, and with their presence concealing skill.

Rin slept with a jewel underneath her tongue, and 3 in each hand... just in case.

She planned on blowing him to kingdom come should he try to 'finish' the job.

Shirou and Arthuria decided to cover her, just in case, he had a few sword blue-prints ready in case, while he could recreate any weapon and record them as well, he was not, yet, able to use his Reality Marble, however his skills with the swords had increased to the point he could match Archer's swordsmanship and skill.

Arthuria has her sword out, however it was hidden by invisible air, to not alarm the students and teachers.

Classes went on as usual, the Malfoy brat was quieting down, maybe her scare tactic worked? No, he seamed like one who would backtalk because who his father is.

Still she would stand firm, she would give the brats a proper education and milk this for all that's worth, also she would take some time in the weekends to continue teaching Shirou on how to increase his ability to process Odd and prana to increase his magic power so he could use his reality marble soon.

Rin however had heard things about another of her students... the one called Harry James Potter.

He was THE SOLE survivor of the killing curse to date. He was to be taken by the Magus Association and experimented on, but his growth has been... unremarkable, he was a decent wizard, but that was it, he had managed to make it trough many perils, but ti was due to luck and his friends... not a real good quality to be honest, Rin proffered skill and power and ability over luck, sure luck helps a lot... but rather than leave things to chance she was a more proactive.

Still,, Harry was rather remarkable student, all said and done, unlike Hermione he was giving answers that where original, the girl was a bookworm, that only obtained answers from books, but never explored more than that, she was rather annoying with her trying to be a 'teacher's pet' so to speak.

Still the girl was tenacious, if nothing else.

And so classes went as usual, Neville however had stayed behind... he needed to ask something to the teacher.

Neville was having problem with his magic, since she was a new teacher she might be able to help him solve the problem, she saw that he was meek, malleable... soft, and he was someone who caved under pressure.

She couldn't help him much, but decided to do something nice... there was something that could help him.

She smiled at him "Listen Longbottom, your problem is because you care to much about the result, you need to clear your mind... here take this, it might help you" She said, a she handed him a small leather amulet.

In it was inscribed many runes, the one that was most repeated was Kaunaz, Dagaz,Nauthiz and Kaunaz, while it had no inherent properties it served as a placebo for him as there was no inherent magic in the rune-script.

Neville smiled and thanked the professor for the small gift, he was filled with renown vigor and felt a bit better.

Unknown to Rin, that old leather was actually a relic... from a very well known hero.

The leather strap begun to glow lightly... warming the wearer, a single image was burned into his subconscious... a plea to attain something.

Neville Longbottom was having this images over and over... when he fell asleep and drifted off.

Arthuria was worried, she had begun to sense the presence of other servants... she knew for a fact that there was a Caster and the Archer Rin spoke about, those two she fought on the top of the train, the Assassin in the train as well as a new Assassin in school, not to mention that feeling from another servant someone had summoned.

"This... is rather overwhelming, so many servants, this might be some dark times, I am only content that there has been no victims... but that could easily change, last night's Assassin was willing to kill Rin" Arthuria thought

Shirou was in the great hall, stabbing at his eggs, he was feeling worried.

"Is anything wrong Mr. Emiya?" Arithmancy teacher, Septima Vector asked.

"Oh... no, and please... just Shirou, Mr. Emiya was... my father" Shirou said with a kind smile.

"And... what is worrying you, Shirou?" Septima asked.

"Must be first time jitters" he said with a self depreciating smile.

"Just relax and you will do fine, from what I hear your little lady friend is quite competent" she said with a smile.

"Yes, she is hailed as a genius of her generation" Shirou said. "I am quite glad I was taken as her apprentice"

"Indeed, just relax and plan around the students, you will have little to no trouble" she said.

Shirou nodded his head in thanks.

Rin was fiddling with papers on what to teach... it was rather easy, and she had a small vacation from the old bastard bloodsucker.

She decided to teach about some old magecraft spells that can be transferred over to wizardcraft.

She went over what to teach each year... making the strongest and harder to control ones for the older students, however, she was wondering who would have ordered that servant to kill her, she hasn't done anything to make any enemies.

Well... yet anyways.

Neville had been having a rough sleep... he had been dreaming of a image... a circular shape with intrinsic shapes adorning it... he had gone to the nurses office and she said that it might be something that he had to get out of his mind, as she made a diagnostic spell on him and found no curses, charms or the like.

She told him to do what his dream told him, it might just be a frustration or something his mind had forgotten and was important, she gave him a pass just in case, since it only came when he was asleep or drifting and arranged to have a room clear for him, she also explained this to the teachers.

The place was set... the servants where gonna be summoned, a war unlike each others.
