Jigglypuff and Gengar turned over to the mansion to see a rather frantic Shadow flying over to them. "Master Gengar! I have some important ne-" Shadow stopped his words abruptly at seeing the scene in front of him, his agitated expression quickly changing to a bemused one, then into one of unease. It didn't took him long to understand what was happening and tried to apologize. "O-Oh, pardon me, I-I didn't mean to interrupt."

"It's fine, Shadow," Gengar sighed, a hint of dissatisfied barely dripping towards the end as he put his arm down away from the fairy type and looking over to him. "What is it?"

"Well, um..." The gas Pokemon quickly cleared his throat, wanting to move from the awkward situation he created back to his urgent matter. "There's been a change on the signal."

"A change?" Gengar exclaimed calmly, his full attention now on the Gastly.

Shadow nodded. "You need to come right away."

"Very well." Shadow nodded again and flew back to the residence.

"Signal...?" Jigglypuff sheepishly muttered, trying to make it a question; she was only listening but caught brief interest in their conversation. Gengar looked back at her.

"It's uh.. a thing.. project Shadow has been working on, nothing really important, my dear, I assure you," Gengar said, trying to keep calm. Jigglypuff slightly raised an eyebrow at him for the sudden nickname. She was about to ask more on the topic until he spoke first. "I'll have to go. But please, do treat yourself to the garden's diversity of berries. You may use those." He gave a knowing smile and pointed to Jigglypuff's right, making her stare in said direction. Stacked upon one another, were 3 hand baskets made of wood and fiber. She stared at them puzzled for a moment then looked back to Gengar's direction, only to see him long gone towards the castle.

"How did he-?" She turned to the baskets once more, then back at the departed ghost type. She stayed silent for a moment, bewildered and slightly cautious. It was almost as if she should of been feeling... fear from him. But she didn't. She couldn't. The feeling was replaced instead with curiosity, and something else she couldn't recognize. It intrigued her, but felt something within herself that advised her to be cautious. She went towards the baskets and grabbed a handle with this thought on her mind.

But... why?

"I don't know.." Buneary sighed, holding her paws together nervously.

"Come on, Buneary," Pikachu begged her. "You want to find her too, don't you?"

"Yes, but-"

"All done," Mew interrupted, flying over to them from behind the trees.

Pikachu looked over at her. "Good, how many?"

"Some Pidgey and Pidgeotto agreed to look overhead in the day and late afternoon. A friend of mine managed to get a small colony of bats to search at night."

"Perfect," Pikachu grinned with a sudden fill of determination.

Buneary finally softly in desperation and touched his shoulder to get his attention. "Pikachu, isn't this a bit too much?" Buneary asked him with a worry look on her face.

"Why would you think that?"

"Because I don't think Jigglypuff would of gone that far," Buneary responded. "On her own, that is."

Pikachu suddenly became alert. "What do you mean 'on her own'?!"

Buneary lowered herself a bit and retrieved her hand, regretting to have ever said her last statement.

"Are you saying she was taken?" Mew said, guessing.

"WHAT?!" Pikachu yelled in panic.

"It was just a guess!" Mew frantically responded before Pikachu lost it again holding her paws out in front of her to calm him down.

"You mean she could of been kidnapped?" he yelled again, with a hint of fear in his voice.

"Of course not! Don't you even know her?" Mew said almost n disbelief. "Jigglypuff isn't weak. She can take most things that come in her way, remember?"

"I... guess you're right," Pikachu replied, sighing, slowly his nerves loosing once again. His memory returned to a time of his younger times. A pack of Houndour chasing him down, only to be scared off by Jigglypuff's Disarming Voice. She herself wasn't intimidating, but her power was impressive enough to cause a distraction for her brother to flee.

"Yeah," Buneary chuckled trying to lighten the mood. However, there was a truth they couldn't deny. "But there's also one type of Pokemon Jigglypuff can't go up against."

Pikachu and Mew's reassuring smiles faded. "Oh..."

"...Which one?" Pikachu asked, almost unwillingly, afraid of what the answer might be. He knew it within himself, but as if not wanting to accept it, asked to ensure. Pikachu and Buneary looked at Mew.

"Ghost types."
