A/N: Hope you like this one. It took me a while to finish this one -_- Anyway, please tell me how this is :) The next chapter gets better probably xD

The school bell rang endlessly, signaling the start of a short interval. Most of the male students were crowding around the notice board, trying to find their names, in their fellow respective clubs.

[Name] stood aimlessly behind them, her mouth wide open. Clutching her skirt down, she attempted to push through the crowds.

"Excuse me…Excuse me…" She muttered absentmindedly, as she got shoved around, in the process head butting the taller males.

Her fingers scanned the list, hoping to find her name, in there somewhere. She jumped out gleefully, screaming out in the process.

She got in. Well, as a freshman, anyway. She was still under supervision, because her name was at the bottom of the list; seems like she wasn't first choice…Obviously.

She returned back to class, with an aura of confidence, as she plopped against her desk. Maybe, this could work out, after all.

Maya tapped her shoulder, waking her up, in time for the next subject to start. [Name] groaned under her breath, shoving her hands into her school bag, shuffling around the books.

It wasn't long before the familiar ring of the announcements, crushed her hopes and dreams.

"All members and new recruits of the disciplinary committee, please assemble in the reception room immediately…"

[Name] shot up immediately, walking over to the teacher's desk, begging for an excuse to go to the bathroom.

"No.."

"But Sensei, please…I really want to go to the bathroom…"

"The interval was just few minutes ago…"

"But Sensei, my stomach started hurting, I need to-"

"Alright, but five minutes only…I'm counting…"

She praised him with gratitude, as she stormed outside, only to walk back inside, to grab her change of clothes.

"Why do you need that?"

"Umm….Sir…I got my…"

"Oh okay…"

Hopefully, the class didn't hear their conversation.

xXx

She stood in a straight line, with the other members, awaiting the orders from the Vice President, Kusakabe.

"All of you should be thankful and grateful that Hibari-san chose you…Chose you as the future of the disciplinary committee…"

Ah, today was the welcoming speech.

"And all first years, you will have to prove your worth and you will find a permanent place, in the committee…"

Everyone clapped awkwardly, their hands feebly making sounds. [Name] nervously laughed, as she continued to clap.

"Each of you will be assigned to a senior member…I will now read out the names, and your group leader…Follow every order that your squad captain gives you…"

One by one, everyone was sorted out in different groups. She started to feel nervous, all of a sudden; her name was not called.

"The rest of you, and [Last Name] will be in my squad…My name is Kusakabe Tetsuya…Vice President of the committee…"He said slowly, eyeing his future teammates, who looked scrawnier than ever.

"And today, afterschool, we will begin the training-"

"Kusakabe…"

"Ah, Hibari-san…"

They all watched; the vice president's confidence crumble in the presence of the shorter raven haired male. Was he that powerful, and intimidating?

"The training will commence in the afternoon. Keep up, or you will be bitten to death. Keep up, and you will be more than just worthless herbivores..."Hibari stated nonchalantly, but for some odd reason, it was inspiring for the sweat covered men.

They all started to clap, [Name] included.

xXx

"Let's get down to business…"Hibari said, as he commenced the training, flinging bamboo sticks at his waiting trainees.

[Name] held the bamboo stick in her hand, chanting to herself. This was her chance, to prove herself, and become one of the regulars, after that, getting into that university would be easy.

"Now, follow me…Those who cannot keep up, will be kicked out…"Hibari stated indifferently, as he headed out of Namimori. Everyone followed him, their faces etched with confusion, not for long though.

It turns out, Hibari Kyoya, wanted to make them run around the whole of Namimori twice. She panted, the stick firmly held in her sweaty hands. She smelled terrible, the pungent smell of sweat, coating her form.

She couldn't protest, but force her faltering legs to carry her, one last time.

Her vision blurry, her legs weak, her fists clutched to her racing heart. It hurt, everything ached. How could he be so cruel, why was this training equivalent to some military training?

But, she couldn't give up. She came this far, and that proud, bastard, just because he was the president could do nothing to stop her.

One by one, they dropped behind her, but what made her smile, were the ones who somehow stood up and mustered the courage, to crawl on.

Why did they try so hard?

She heard them, mutter to themselves, trying to make themselves believe that they could get pass the gates of Namimori.

But, they couldn't.

She turned back, forcing her legs to walk over to fallen boy, behind her.

"Come on…"She said breathlessly, patting him on the back. He faced away from her, placing his weak limbs on the ground, trying to push him back up.

His disposition was quite like hers, thin and measly. He looked like the type to get beaten up, often, if so, was that his reason for joining the committee?

He somehow stood up, running faster like he did in the beginning, finally passing through the gates, as he stood limply in a straight line, next to Hibari.

She scoffed under her breath, she made him get up, but she still hadn't passed the gates. She couldn't do it. It was too tiring, jogging around the whole of Namimori twice; it was just impossible. Who did he think he was?

Her legs betrayed her, as they froze, right in front of the gates of Namimori. There were a few others, behind her, but that was not the point. She didn't make it.

She wasn't a part of the committee.

Hibari stood in front of her, his gaze looking down on the weaklings fallen before him. They were weak, and pathetic; not worthy of his assistance, and the disciplinary committee, especially the one, right before him.

He gave up, and Hibari Kyoya hated quitters.

[Name] went home that day, after hiding in the bathroom, and calling her best friend to come pick her up.

xXx

[Name] hugged the book to her chest, as she walked past the disciplinary members, training in the morning. He was there, to lead them.

Her eyes couldn't face him, her gaze darting away. She gave up; she couldn't care less, anymore. She limped, walking past them.

The raven haired male's scrutinizing glare fell on her, watching her as she entered the school building. Her brother was weak, just like her.

xXx

The interval ball rang, as she gathered her books, shoving them into her bag. After a humiliating defeat, she couldn't seem to face anyone.

She just wanted to be alone. She made her way, to the solitary table at the end of the courtyard. It was right under the large tree; littered with stray leaves, and twigs.

Placing her head on the table, she began to cry. Every single time, her best friend asked her what is wrong, and what is next, she couldn't help but cry.

She was letting her family down.

Hibari [Last Name]'s sister curled up alone, at the table, which needed cleaning. Was she actually concerned about her brother?

Or, this time, was it something else, like that day? She wasn't getting bullied again, wasn't she? This was annoying as it is; his need to keep an eye on this herbivorous female- her nature, which kept violating the rules of Namimori.

He didn't want to approach her again. Sigh, she was annoying. Maybe, he would talk to her, after this short nap, until then he would send the little one.

"Hibari…Hibari…"

She looked up, hearing the squeaking noise, quickly wiping the tears from her eyes. She couldn't see anything, her head felt heavy, though.

Hibird walked around, his small claws clutching strands of her hair. She looked up, instantly causing the yellow bird to land on the leaf covered table.

"Ah hello…"She said smiling softly, patting its head. It was so soft, and that made her smile. She giggled. It repeated its name calling.

"Hibari?" She questioned. It must have been her imagination, but the little bird seemed to grow louder in its call.

"So, you are friend of his…Too bad, I even found you cute…But, you still are cute so…"She said giggling, as she caressed his head.

Hibari smirked under his breath, watching her, as he retreated back to his nap.

The day swept by quickly after that, and [Name] was the last to leave the classroom. She slugged her bag carefully over her shoulder, as she headed out of Namimori. The staircase was still difficult for her to descend, the training was tougher than she thought, and the effects lasted longer.

"Herbivore, why are you limping?"

She faced her caller, almost wincing at the sound of his stern, cold voice. She opened her mouth to speak, but chose not to say anything.

For some reason, the grip he had on his tonfas tightened involuntarily. He was getting annoyed with her.

"[Name], who is the herbivore who hurt you…"

"No one, Hibari-san… You don't have to be concerned…"

"I don't? Knowing that there are some students who disrespect the rules, no way that I would stand here doing nothing…"

She bit her lower lip. Did he figure it out already? No, she hoped not. She limped forward, towards him.

"It's fine…I'm sorry that I have worried you…"She said, bowing respectfully. She walked away from him, adjusting her backpack over her shoulders, as she limped home.

Hibari scoffed under his breath, as he faced away from her. That herbivore was being annoying than usual; and the tears in her eyes seemed real this time.

Why would she not tell him? Why did she lie? Hibari Kyoya couldn't stand it. He would have bitten her to death, if only she was in a good condition, here she looked like she would fall apart.

She would fall apart, and she wasn't even letting him hold the pieces. His eyes immediately widened, his lips forming a smirk.

He knew, just what to do.

xXx

She was genuinely shocked and surprised, when he approached her in the morning. The whispers that followed showed that her reaction wasn't alien. They turned towards each other, eyes widening, as they watched Hibari Kyoya lead the new girl, out of her class, to the courtyard.

"Hibari? What?"

He scoffed under his breath, motioning her to witness the training of the members of the committee. They were training hard, even if, it has still been a few days.

Kusakabe was surprised, as he watched Hibari step up to them.

"Now, herbivores, I want you to tell me, and everyone, why you decided to join the disciplinary committee…"

They stared at each other in confusion, before opening their mouths to speak.

"It was my ambition to join the committee, and grow strong with their help!"

"I wanted to show her that I am not weak, and I could be the man she wanted me to be!"

Hibari rolled his eyes at that one, and [Name] was tempted to strangle the raven haired male.

"I wanted to rule over others, who had looked down on me…I have the power now to do anything that I want to…"

"I want to grow stronger for the sake of my loved ones…I want to be able to protect them…" The last one said; the boy who struggled and passed the gate finally.

He smirked under his breath, in amusement, as he turned away from them, his cloak wavering majestically in the wind. He walked away from her, his eyes watching her silently, as he entered the building indifferently.

They yelled out their ambitions, each one meant a lot to them. She closed her eyes pitifully at her reason for joining. It was stupid.

What was Hibari's reason for showing her this? She ran inside, hoping to catch him before he disappeared.

"Hibari!" She yelled, too loud for comfort. He winced, turning around to face her, tonfas bared in his hand.

He was going to bite her to death. He didn't care anymore. His eyes blazed.

"Could you please let me join?" She asked, bowing her head from the other end of the corridor. He stood up straight, sighing under his breath.

Hadn't he been over this already?

"I have told you. Girls will never be accepted into the-"

"Please, I'm begging you!" She asked, tears streaming down her face. He sighed under his breath; she was yelling, noisily.

She was loud. [Name] wiped the tears streaming her face, in embarrassment; she never wanted to cry in front of him.

"My decision is final, herbivore. You and your brother cannot join the committee…And, you don't need it…You're fine the way you are…"He said slowly, as he continued to walk away from her, placing his tonfas back in his side pockets.

She lifted her head, watching him walk away from her. He was cruel, but that was right. He did what was right.

He is a cold-blooded, merciless president of the disciplinary committee; but what he said. Her intentions for joining were stupid, and it took him to help her realize that.

Did she really want to go to that university?

With those thoughts, she made her way to the classroom. Hibari climbed the staircase to the roof, grasping the rail tightly, Hibird perched on his shoulder.

xXx

The days passed by, and she didn't feel like speaking to him. They exchanged glances subtly; she even had the urge to wave at him, but chose not to.

His blank stare spared her form a glance, as she entered the school building every day. He cupped his face in his hands, the wind ruffling his raven locks. Well, at least now, that annoying herbivore would not bother him, anymore.

She would not speak to him, anymore.

She would not smile at him, anymore.

She would not.

He scoffed his thoughts, as he leaned against the floor, placing his hands on his head. The clouds gathered over him, it seemed like it would rain.

[Name] sighed under her breath; she knew she was being stubborn, but she couldn't forget the sympathy he had shown towards her. She should not have ignored him.

Pursing her lips, she stared at the closed door, leading to the rooftop; his domain, left untouched. The door noisily creaked open, Hibari instinctively opening one stray eye.

"Hibari-san?"

His eyes opened abruptly, tilting his head to the side. Hibari caught a glimpse of her standing there, fiddling pathetically with her fingers, lips parted slowly.

He leaned back, closing his eyes.

"I wanted to apologize…"She said softly, sitting on the floor, a considerable distance from his resting form. He placed his hand, over his head, involuntarily releasing his breath.

"Umm…Because, I want to keep you as a friend…I was angered and disappointed in myself…Now, I know, that it wasn't something to take it out on you, by ignoring you…"

He rubbed his eyes, his lips parting into a yawn, that he had held back. Why was she so annoying? Here, she was spouting some nonsense, which he absolutely did not care about.

He did not care.

He did not care.

"I'm really sorry, Hibari-san…I really mean it…"

He sat up, stretching his arms, squinting his eyes.

"Alright, then...Stop repeating your words, it's annoying…At least, now you understand your position…"He said, indifferently, as he stood up. She heaved herself up, dusting the back of her skirt, as she stood up straight.

"Okay then, bye Hibari-san…"She said smiling, waving at the sleepy, raven haired male.

"Hn…"

He watched her leave, as he always did, chin placed on his hand, resting his elbow on the railing. She paused by the gates, turning towards the school.

She waved once again, standing there. What did she want from him; pathetic herbivore. He took out his tonfas, baring it at her, as she chuckled and ran away.

A smirk made way to his lips, in amusement. Droplets of water pattered onto his hands, as the sky turned a shade of granite.

He was right; it was going to rain.

"Why did it have to rain, today?" She whined under her breath, placing her back pack on her head, trying to shield herself from the heavy shower.

She ran instinctively, to the nearest bus stand, placing the wet bag on the stray bench. She sighed under her breath, before sitting down.

This rain will have to stop soon, and normally, Namimori isn't a place with cloudy skies.

"Herbivore, move over…" The raven haired male demanded, water dripping from his clothes. She quickly scooted to the side, as he took his place beside her.

He leaned his head lazily, against the head of the bench, the corner of his eye peeking at [Name]. Droplets of water clung onto her hair, streaming down to her dry lips, and down her chin, soaking the white uniform, she wore.

She turned to her side, immediately noticing Hibari was glaring at her. Her eyes widened, her lips a blank line; she thought, he forgave her already.

His lips parted lightly, water droplets trailing his lips. He sat straight, his hand placed on her cheek, cupping her face.

Raising his form slowly, his lips placed themselves on hers.

She mentally screamed; all her theories about him, trying to figure him out, flew out of the window. The only thing that remained was how soft his lips were.

Smirking against her lips, he deepened the kiss, forcing his tongue inside, his dominance displayed. She moaned in his mouth, lightly sending vibrations down his lower lip.

His wet raven locks brushed against her forehead, the droplets of water falling onto her cheeks, a shade of pink. The droplets raced down to her lips, molding between them, her hands lying limp by the side.

His teeth grazed her lower lip, as he tugged it slowly, withdrawing. Her eyes finally opened, his blank stare fixated on her.

He stood up, his cloak wavering.

"The rain stopped, herbivore…"He said slowly, as he strode away proudly, a hand running through his black locks.

Confusedly, she grabbed her back, and proceeded to walk home quickly. What the hell was that? What is he even thinking?

Her fingers lifted to her bruised lips, the corner of her lips tucking into a light smile. Hibari stared at his hand, for a few seconds, before grasping the tonfas in his hands.

He wanted to bite someone to death, very soon. He smirked under his breath, lifting his head a little higher.

She giggled under her breath, the grin on her face undying. She just got kissed by Hibari, freaking, Kyoya; the same guy who beat her up a few days ago- there was something wrong with her, clearly.

"Tomorrow, tomorrow, for sure…He'll never forget this disrespect…We'll get him…Hibari Kyoya and the so called disciplinary committee…Our president won't stay still either…Attacking their school was the best idea, he ever gave…" They mumbled, as she walked past them.

Their arms were bandaged, faces bruised, legs weak. Her eyes widened, trying her best to keep a composed disposition.

Maybe, it was nothing.

"Hey, you, stop listening to our shit…"

She clutched her bag, and sprinted away from them. She panted heavily; they couldn't follow her. They were in terrible shape; as usual, it must have been him.

He did it, and now they were after the school. She had to tell him, somehow.

She had to tell him. Namimori was in danger.
