Moriarty simply chuckled, and I heard him knocking gingerly on my closet door. "Kimberly dear! Someone's at the door for you!"
I bit down hard on my lip, tasting blood.
No one said anything for a moment, until Moriarty got mad.
"If you don't get your ass out from there this second, I will rip your head off your shoulders and feed it to your dog." he snarled through the crack, and I scowled.
"Why would I go out there?" I shot back. "So you can threaten or kill me? Strap a bomb to me?"
He chuckled. "Now why on earth would I do that to a pretty girl like you?"
I let out a shallow breath. "You're Moriarty." I said, as that was explanation enough.
"I just want to ask you some questions, deary, please come out?" his voice was low and airy, and I had a sickening suspicion he had his face pressed against the door, trying to see me.
I heard Dean pound once more.
"Fine." I grumbled, a second later. I knew this was a rash decision, but it was one I needed to make.
I slowly opened the door and saw him leaning against my wall, looking at me with his bleak eyes.
"Hello, doll." he purred, smirking. He walked behind me and shut the door to my closet, his fingertips trailing along my back. I shivered at his touch and he smirked wider, walking over to my TV and DVDs.
"I see that it's your world." he mused, his accent giving his words a strange tinge. "So, we are all from separate telly shows?"
I swallowed before nodding. "Yes."
He hummed for a moment, his fingers flipping through the DVDs I had stacked up. "Would you be terribly mad if I was to take one of our...programs?"
The Doctor's word echoed in my mind, and I stepped forward, boldly pushing his hands away.
"That would have dire consequences on all of our worlds. So yes, I would be terribly mad." I mimicked his accent, and he lowered his eyes to peer into mine.
I stared back, clenching my shaking hands.
"Get out." I said, lowly, my voice trembling. "Now."
The door cracked loudly, and I jumped, accidentally, landing halfway into his grasp. Moriarty pulled me to his chest as Sherlock and Dean stepped in. Dean had his gun leveled at Moriarty, and when he saw this, he pulled me in front of him.
Using me as a human shield. Wow.
"Leave." Dean snarled, and he glared at him.
"So Twitchy's bossy too." he mused, and he peered down at me, I turned my head and looked cautiously at me from the corner of my eye.
Moriarty suddenly moved, pushing me to the ground. I heard Dean's startled grunt and my head knocked into the floor, leaving me stunned.
"No!" the Doctor exclaimed from somewhere else. "The DVD's!"
"Ta-ta for now!" I heard Moriarty sing, and my world spun.
~0~
"Kim." I heard someone whisper.
The high shrill of the sonic screwdriver met my ears, and I heard another person whisper. "She just has a very minor concussion, I don't know why she's not waking up."
Doctor?
I groaned, or at least I thought I did.
I felt a prodding at my mind, and then felt Castiel's presence.
Cas? I thought wearily, projecting the thought to the presence.
"She responded to my presence." I heard his gruff voice, and I moaned softly.
"She's waking up." the Doctor announced.
I blinked open my eyes, seeing the Doctor's eyes peering down into mine curiously.
"Ah good, you're awake." he grinned and backed away.
I sat up, seeing that I was in the TARDIS. I immediately recognized the ceiling.
"Hey." I said groggily. It was just Sam, Cas, and the Doctor in this room. "How long have I been out?"
"Only about an hour." Sam explained, sitting next to me on the cot. "How do you feel?"
I brought a cold hand to my forehead and scrunched my brows. "Like I got pushed to the ground."
Sam chuckled.
"You have no injuries. I healed them." Cas stated, and I looked to him.
"Thank you." I smiled, and turned to the Doctor. "You too, Doc."
He nodded once, adjusting his glasses.
"Did Moriarty leave?"
Sam scratched the back of his head, nodding. "He, uh, took a DVD with him. We aren't sure which one yet."
"He means I wouldn't let them look at your DVDs." the Doctor explained. "I didn't want to give them the temptation to read the back, to find more about their futures."
I nodded and got up. "I'll go check right now. It's important to know whose he got a hold of, yeah?"
The Doctor nodded. "Be careful around Sherlock, though. He's been acting a bit...strange."
I acknowledged his warning and went into the hallway, turning right. I walked down for a ways until I came across an open door.
"Hello?" I called out, sticking my head into the room. The room had a full size bed with a pink comforter, a dresser and a few personal belongings scattered about. I went over to the door in the wall, and opened it to reveal a closet. I looked through the clothes, and then I realized whose room this was.
This was Rose's room.
I inhaled sharply, backing away from the closet.
Did the TARDIS lead me in here? Or had I just stumbled into this room on accident?
I continued backing up until I was outside the room.
I didn't have time for this! I had to see whose future Moriarty could possibly ruin!
I continued walking, thinking solely of the main console room, and after that one thought, I was there.
Thank you. I thought up at the TARDIS, and she responded with a soft rumble.
I smiled slightly, exiting the ship and stepping foot into the garage. The concrete floor was cold beneath my bare feet, and I quickly walked up the two stairs into my home.
Stepping into the kitchen, I sighed, pressing a hand to my forehead.
"You're awake." a deep, masculine voice said, and I jumped, turning to see Sherlock, sitting on one of my bar stools, his steepled fingers pressed under his chin.
I blinked, not really surprised he would do something like that. "I'm not even surprised you're here in the dark. Don't get too bored and shoot a smiley face into my wall."
Igot a water out of the fridge.
"Why on earth would I shoot a smiley face into a wall?" he mumbled, almost to himself.
Oops.
"Are you okay, Sherlock?" I asked, stopping in front of him. "This whole alternate reality isn't messing you up too bad, is it?"
He glanced up at me, narrowing his crystal clear eyes. "I'm fine."
I held his gaze for a moment, but I didn't believe him. Shrugging, I continued into the living room.
Dean was slumped on my couch, beer in hand, watching General Hospital reruns. Must suck we don't have 'Dr. Sexy M.D.' here.
Dean turned around when I walked in. His bored expression turned into a grin. "Kim, you alright?"
I nodded. "Cas healed my concussion, so I'm alright."
John was reading in my armchair. "Going to go see which show Moriarty stole?" he asked, glancing up from my copy of George Orwell's 1984.
"Yeah, I'm hoping he didn't get anything though, but he might have." my lips quirked into a bitter grin. "We'll make it through, even if he did get something important."
Dean took another swig of his beer, studying me. "You got dragged into this, huh?"
"It's worth it." I smiled slightly, still not believing all my favorite characters, expect people from the Marvel universe, were here. "My life was getting boring."
No one said anything else, so I went to up my room.
When I reached my room, it was pretty much in the same order as when I fell. My DVDs were awkwardly stacked on my bed, and I spread them out, looking over each title. I'd seen these I a stack thousands of times before, surely I could figure out which I didn't have!
I sorted my Sherlock, Doctor Who, and Supernatural all into their own little categories, and then discovered that he'd taken Supernatural season 7's DVD.
I sighed, pressing my fingers to my forehead. Of course, just our luck. I shoved my DVDs in the bottom drawer of my old dresser, locking it with the key I kept taped to the bottom of the drawer above it.
I changed into my evening sweats and 'love at first slice' pizza t-shirt before heading down stairs.
"Moriarty has the Supernatural DVD." I announced to the living-room full of men. "The season you all are from, too."
"Dammit." I heard Dean grumble. "Means he knows about Dick."
I nodded and the Doctor suddenly leapt to his feet. "What are we waiting for? We have to head to Minnesota!"
Cas furrowed his brows, not familiar with the expression. "We are waiting until everyone is ready and until morning, are we not?"
Sherlock gave Cas a look he would give John or Lestrade and I smiled.
"I'll go get packed now. Sam, Dean, you guys have been to Minnesota, right?"
