Chapter eight is here and I hope everyone is ready for the chapter. I want to thank my friend General Herbison for the help. I appreciate it and I hope you all like this chapter. Also, sorry if it feels this one took a while to come out.

Had to deal with my classes, work on my appeals, and then change some stuff. But I got it all done so I can work on this. Plus my summer classes are online. So, I don't have to worry too much about them. At least, for now.

Anyways, last time we saw things going…well badly for our heroes. Another conflict is going to break out and our heroes have to find a way to stop it. On the bright side it seems they found something that might be able to save them. What is it?

Well, read on to find out. Also, when we do get to it please keep in mind that this crossover is a sequel to our many crossovers we have been doing for some time. So, if you guys get confused it will be explained at the end. So we can clear up any confusion.

But for now, check out the chapter to find out how things will go and I don't own anything from the DC or Bleach universe. The OCs from the heroes side are mine and the OCs from the Forever Empire are from General Herbison. So, in case anyone wants to check out his work go right ahead. He has a lot of good stories to read.

Now then, time for the chapter and enjoy everyone.

Chapter VIII

Unknown location

Aeon walks down the hallway noticing the torches on the wall. She didn't pay much attention to it since she was more focused for any signs of a trap. She couldn't help but have these feelings, especially with war breaking out back home. Still, she hopes something here will help save her home and her family.

She arrives in a large room surrounded by torches and glowing stones. Looking around she gets an idea of how big this room is, but couldn't see anything here.

"All right, now what?" she asked wondering what is going to happen now.

The room shuddered as a large section in the center opened and another section rose in place. It was a platform with a series of ten stone tablets with writing inscribed upon them in a language she didn't recognize. But as she stared at them the unknown voice spoke again.

"The challenge before you is one of knowledge and of the Force." it explained, "Those that came long before you used the Force to both guide them in battle and to provide wisdom for the mind. You must do the same if you are to pass this trial."

Aeon wondered what she has to do with these tablets, while also recalling what he said. About the Force. Something she was taught when she was young. However, there wasn't much to learn, except how to use it to sense for anything and to lift or push things.

Her family lost a lot of knowledge about the Force after losing their home long ago. Only a few in her family ever practiced it or even remembered what the Force actually does. Still, to save her home and friends she has to try. She has to try learning to use the Force and hope she can pass this test.

"What do I need to do with these tablets?" she asked hoping to get a hint or an idea of what she needs to do.

"An excellent question." the voice replied, "The tablets before you each contain a part of a list of instructions. Your task is to arrange them in the correct order. Be warned, you cannot try every possible method of arranging them, once you move a tablet it will be locked into place. I was not a Jedi but I knew some of them, in this situation they would meditate, perhaps you should do the same."

Aeon looks at the tablets and then lets out a small sigh. "All right. This shouldn't be too difficult. I just need to put them in the right order. At least there's no pressure."

"Take your time." the voice started to fade away, "I have been waiting a long time, I can wait a bit longer."

Aeon looks at the tablets and tries to figure out where they need to go. She tries to find a pattern to them that will help her put them in where they need to go. Each one does have a different pattern on them, but couldn't figure out where they need to go. This language is nothing she has ever seen before and she knows all the languages in the galaxy.

"All right. Think what he said," she said to herself as she recalls him saying about meditation. "Meditate and have the Force guide me. But what if the Force won't work?"

She sighed unsure if meditating will actually work, but decided to give it a chance. She sat down, closed her eyes, and begins trying to use the Force. She tries calling out to it, but was unable to feel anything. She tries again, but the more she tries forcing this like she has done before the less results she is getting.

It got her frustrated and soon the thoughts of failing began to fill her head. About failing her friends, her family, and her home. She wanted to save everyone, but couldn't figure out what she needed to do. If only she knew someone who could help her and knew more about the Force.

Suddenly she hears something flapping nearby. Opening her eyes she sees a small green feathered bird flying by. She wonders how the bird got in here and where it came from. The bird lands in front of her and stares at her.

She tried to ignore the bird, but felt something trying to tell her something. She sighed and looks at the bird wondering what it wants. She stares at it as it stares back at her. She soon feels something coming from it.

Something she has never sensed before. It felt like it was trying to tell her something, but what was it? She soon feels something else calling out to her. Something that felt familiar.

After a minute of staring at the bird, she lets out a small sigh, and once she cleared her thoughts she began to close her eyes. The bird took off as Aeon begins to concentrate again. This time the result was different from before.

The Force began connection with Aeon as she felt it flowing through her. Moving her hand out she extends it to where the tablets are at as they begin to move.

Slowly the stones began to levitate into the air as Aeon's concentration grew. They floated through the air with her hand guiding them to the indents upon the floor set out in a neat row awaiting the keys. One by one the stones lowered into place, a faint click emerging as the locks slid into place, preventing any change to the sequence.

As the final stone clicked into place the room shook and a section at the far end slid open with a chain of torches marking the way into what appeared to be a tunnel.

"You have passed the first test." the voice replied, "What did you learn?"

Aeon opened her eyes when she hears the door opening and hears the voice speaking to her. "I…I learned to be patient. Not to rely on the Force for combat, but for wisdom and guidance. To connect with it and listen. Listen to what it is saying and what it told me was to be…patient."

"Very good young one. Proceed to the next room, but be warned, the trials will get tougher."

Aeon looks down the hallway and proceeded to the next room, while the bird follows her.

Earth II

John is seen putting on the armor that Kat had made for the heroes and soldiers to wear. The suit is silver with it covering much of the body, minus the head and feet. The boots come separate, while the helmet is attached to the suit. It will activate when a fight breaks out and comes equipped with different visions for the user to use to find the enemy, including heat vision.

The armored suit was something she had been working on for five years. The suit protects the user from heat like fire and cold like sub-zero temperatures. The suit also gives the user super strength, speed, durability, and allows more movement than the other suits. One of Kat's best ideas for the suits though is they are given a shield around them that protects the user from getting shot.

However, the one flaw for it is it will overheat if the shield takes too much damage. If it does it will take a minute to recharge. Something Kat wished she could have worked on more, but didn't have a lot of time. With the threat of war, the government asked her to finish making the shield that would protect the planet.

John looks at himself in the mirror and sighed. "I really didn't think we would need to use this for war."

"It's not like we have much of a choice," said Arella as she walks in wearing a similar suit like John, except the color is blue. "This was going to happen sooner or later and there isn't much we can do to stop it."

John couldn't deny that with Maraxus around wanting war that this was going to happen. Though he wished it didn't and he wouldn't have to go fight against Sierra. He just hope he can find a way to avoid it or at least convince her the truth. How Maraxus is using her and he was behind the explosion.

"Angela, is there no other way we can prove Maraxus is guilty? Like, can't you use your powers to show Sierra the truth?"

Angela hesitate to respond when he mentioned her powers. "Um, n-no. My powers won't be able to show her the truth. I'm sorry."

"Oh, I see," said John disappointed that they wouldn't be able to show her what happened.

In truth, Arella didn't want to use her powers. She could, but she knew it wouldn't actually work and was worried if she does she might lose control. Ever since what happened on the ship she has been worried about using her powers. She recalls a voice talking to her, she remembers breaking out of her cell, and then remembers…so much screaming. She couldn't see what was going on, but she could hear the screaming.

It actually scared her when she heard this. She knew she was doing something to them, but didn't know what it was. Then the explosion occurred and she wondered if she did that. If she did then she killed all those people.

The worse part of all of this is a part of her liked it. She enjoyed making them suffer and making them pay for what they did. Since then she decided she wouldn't use her powers. Not until she figures out what is going on with her.

The door opened and in came Ben. "Hey, it's time to go. We just received a message that a fleet of Forever Empire ships are heading to Mars."

John picks up his weapon and attaches it to his belt. "All right, let's get going. Arella, you ready?"

Arella nods nervously as she ties her hair back. "Yeah, let's do this."

Unknown Location

Aeon continued walking down the hallway with the torches lighting her way. She hears some flapping behind her and sees the bird following her. It lands on her shoulder and she smiles at it. "I don't know what happened back there, but I get the feeling you had a hand in helping me huh?"

The bird stares at her, before it looks ahead. Aeon knew she wouldn't get her answer, but didn't care. She has someone to accompany her for these trials and could use something to get her mind of what is going on. Not completely off her mind though since she knew what's at stake.

She makes it to the next room and looks around. "All right. So, what's the next part of the trial?"

"The next part is one of understanding what the role of the Jedi is." a small orb like drone emerged out of the dark, "You will be tested without knowledge of what you face, and you must find a way to bring the trial to an end."

Without warning the drone flew away into the shadows. As it disappeared something else started to move. There was a faint grinding sound of contact with stones and a strange rasping sound like heavy breathing filled the air.

Aeon could hear this and takes out her weapon as she activates it to try getting some more light. She tries using the Force again to try figuring out wat is in the shadows. The bird that was with her took off flying as it flies in the shadows. "Either you flew away cause your scared or you just wanted to leave me," she muttered as she goes slowly into the shadow.

There was a sudden sharp movement in the dark well beyond the range of the light and a threatening growl.

Aeon sees this and backs away as she gets on her guard. Whatever this thing is must be dangerous, big, and she has to be worried it won't try to kill her. "All right, where are you?"

She looks around, while using the Force to help keep her guard up. However, for some reason the Force is calling out to her to lower her weapon. She shakes her head knowing she can't do that. If she does it will try to kill her.

A roar heralded the creature's attack as it lunged for her. It was a strange fusion of organic and synthetic in the form of a massive serpent with mechanical patches on its scales. Its mouth opened wide with two three feet long fangs aimed for her head.

Aeon ducks the creature and backs away as she gets a good look at the creature. Now this is a creature she has never seen before, but knew she had to be careful. She sees it attacking her again, but she uses the Force to knock it away. However, the attack didn't push it all the way back.

"Okay, that didn't work," she replied as she gets her weapon up and prepares to use it.

The creature glared down at her and this time swung for her with its massive tail. She dodges the attack and goes to use her weapon, but the tail moved out of the way before she can cut it. She sees it coming at her to attack again, but she jumps over its head and tries using her weapon again. However, she can hear the Force calling out to her, which distracted her.

The creature knocks her off her head as she flies into the shadows, slides against the floor, and hits the wall. She coughed loudly as she tries getting up, but fell on her knees. "Damn it. Why did it do that? Why is it trying to stop me from killing this thing? It's trying to kill me."

She sees the bird flying down in front of her as she glares at it. "You're no help. Flying off, while I deal with this thing."

The bird however didn't do anything, but stare at her. She stares back as she feels the Force trying to call out to her again. She groaned knowing it's not going away until she listens to it. "Fine, but if that thing tries eating me I'm going to take you with me," she said to the bird as it flew off.

She closed her eyes and begins calling out to the Force. She concentrates as she feels something moving in the shadow. She thinks it's the bird, but she knew it was the creature. It's looking for her.

It wants to hurt her, it wants to kill her, it…it's in pain? Yeah, she can sense this thing is in pain. It couldn't be from her right? No, it was something else.

Something else that is causing it to act this way? If that is true then where is it? She continues to concentrate, as the creature spots her. She continues to try using the Force to find where the source of this pain is coming from.

The pain was concentrated just below the head and... there! Just below the head a sharp fragment of stone was embedded between a scale and part of the mechanical addition. The stone was visible in the glow of her light reflecting off the scales.

"Alright," she watched the creature slithering towards her, "Let's see if this works."

As the creature reared up she launched herself at it. Placing her feet solidly on the scales she anchored herself by seizing the stone and pulling for all her might while the creature shook from side to side trying to get at her.

She felt the stone giving way and with one sudden burst of strength she pulled it loose, and pushed off the creature to land well away from it as the creature turned to her.

Instead of attacking it seemed to watch her carefully, as though waiting for her to make the next move.

She wonders if it worked and it is now more peaceful. She deactivates her weapon and closes her eyes. Moving her arm out she uses the Force to try connecting with the creature. To see if she it is now peaceful.

At first it was filled with distrust but as she sat there reaching out to the creature the distrust faded away and slowly the creature turned away and slithered back into the shadows. As it vanished a doorway at the end of the room opened illuminated by overhead lights.

"Jedi are peacekeepers. Not soldiers." the drone returned, "Only when diplomacy has failed do Jedi draw their weapons. What have you learned?"

Aeon looks back where the creature left and puts her weapon away. "Fighting should not be the solution to every conflict. That you must find another way of solving any conflict without violence."

"Very wise young one." the drone flew towards the door, "Proceed to your final trial."

Aeon nods as she begins walking through the next room, as the bird flies near where the drone is at as it watches her walk away.

"She has sure got the potential." the drone remarked, "But she still has a lot to learn if she is to be half the Jedi you were."

The bird looks up at the drone when it spoke to it and then begins flying down as it follows the girl.

(ERADICATOR)

Standing on the bridge of the command cruiser Eradicator Sierra tried very hard to calm her nerves. This moment was one of great significance for her entire career in the empire. If she was successful then she would prove her worth to the billions of souls of the empire. If she failed disastrously then she may as well give up on her claim and let Maraxus run things.

Two hundred and fifty ships were now directly under her command. Eighty of those ships were troop transports with about seven and a half thousand troops on each added up to a military force of six hundred thousand lives all waiting for her orders to fight and die for her.

"Lady Sierra." Delta One moved to her side, "The admirals are preparing to make their reports."

Immensely grateful for the distraction from the numbers she inhaled deeply, "Thank you."

Both Bravo and Delta Squads from the Elite had accompanied her both to provide personal security and also, she noticed, to help take some of the burden of command. She would have to decide the course of action, then the Elite would dispatch the orders to the admirals who would co-ordinate their own fleets into the formation organized by the Elite.

"Do you have any updates on the defenses?" she asked.

"The planet is on high alert," Delta One projected a screen from his palm, "We expect that the population of the planet is less than one hundred thousand. Our ground forces outnumber them significantly. Their orbital defenses may hold off the initial wave but we expect they will fail during the second."

Sierra moved to the command chair and sat down, "What do you recommend?"

"Our numbers and firepower are superior." he projected an image of New Mars along with its orbital forces and defenses, "I cannot tell you what to do but my advice would be to destroy their entire orbital network then turn the firepower on the planet itself."

Her breath caught in her throat, "Destroy the entire planet?" she asked cautiously.

"Yes, my lady," he moved to her shoulder, "We would be able to wipe out their entire resistance without having to land troops on the planet."

Something stirred inside her and she snapped, "Get me a visual of the planet."

Her crew complied and she found herself staring at New Mars. She could feel a powerful sense of connection with it, a connection that wouldn't exist unless...

"John is on that planet." she murmured to herself.

Delta One, like all members of the Elite, were never seen outside of their armor so their faces were never visible but she could sense his unease, "You have a problem, Delta One?"

He lowered his head, "Forgive me, my lady, but are you willing to sacrifice your ascension to the throne because you have feeling for the enemy?"

Logically he was correct, if she gave the word her ships would turn the planet into chunks of debris.

Everyone on it would perish...

'Do not do it Sierra. Show mercy, be a leader of peace.'

'Think of all who stand in your way, destroy them!' Marrissa's voice screeched.

'Battles should be fought with honor. Prove yourself to your warriors.'

Sierra got to her feet so suddenly that the rest of Delta Squad was closing ranks around her in case she had sensed a danger, "My lady, what's wrong?"

"Contact all my ships." she ordered with a sudden voice of authority she didn't know she had.

"The link is open." the communications officer reported, "All ships are ready."

She stepped forward into the holoprojector's range so that her image would be broadcasted to the fleet, "This battle will not be one to be forgotten. This is a battle that will forever stand in the history of the Forever Empire. On this day you will all bear witness as I, Sierra, rightful heir to the throne, personally lead the assault on the planet of New Mars. But we are warriors of honor and we will meet our enemies on the battlefield to show ourselves as such. My orders are thus, all available ships will engage their orbital defenses and destroy every ship, station, and anything else not of my command. Once they have been eradicated the fleet will surround the planet and all forces will be deployed to the surface to directly engage the enemy. And what is more," she could sense the pride and hope in her forces. She could feel the desire to prove themselves worthy of being under her command, "I shall personally lead the direct assault on the surface myself."

Communications lit up across the fleet as everyone from admirals down through the ranks to the frontline soldiers roared their support for her. Even if she were to close the communication link she would hear the cheers from the ships in formation around her and she savored the feeling it gave her. She would lead the attack on the planet. She would find John and take him prisoner to protect him.

And when Earth II was also brought into the empire with the Board's deaths, she would sit on her throne and declare that finally, at long last the empire would be at peace. No more destruction, no more conquest, the empire would expand through trade, through research, she would end the fighting and John would rule at her side.

But first, blood would need to be shed to end this war.

"I am Sierra." she declared, "And I command this. All ships are to converge on New Mars. Destroy anything that tries to stop us."

Through the many screens she watched as ship after ship accelerated through space, cruisers, frigates, transports, fighter squadrons, all of it hers and only a tiny fraction of the full armada on its way to reinforce her.

"Well said, my lady," Delta One bowed his head as she retook her seat, "However are you sure it's wise to lead the attack yourself?"

She smiled, "I'm a near unstoppable sorceress with ten members of the Elite as bodyguards and six hundred thousand soldiers at my back, I think I'll be fine."

Unknown location

Aeon continues walking down the hallway with the torches around her. The bird flies down on her shoulder as she sees it staring at her. "So, you decided to come back huh? I hope you don't fly off if we encounter some trouble."

The bird stares at her and then looks over at the direction where they are going. She sighed knowing the bird won't talk to her and she doesn't know why she is trying to talk to it. Unless, maybe she uses the Force to speak to her. She decides to try doing that, but then the bird flew off and went ahead of her.

"Hey! Hold up!" she runs after the bird as she makes it to the next room. "Great, now what?" she asked as she stops running and looks around for what is going to come at her.

Instead the room lit up. The walls were metal and grey and there was no other way out of the room as a massive door slammed shut behind her. The only thing that stood out in the room was a section of the wall had writing upon it in.

"What does it mean?" the voice asked, "When you look upon it what does it mean? Answer truthfully and the door shall open. Answer falsely and you will rot in here."

"Seriously? So I only get once chance at this?" she asked a little concerned about this. "Well, can I get a small hint or something?"

She got no response as she lets out a small sigh before she approaches the wall to see the words. Again, they are in a language she doesn't recognize, but it is also a different writing from the tablets from before. She moves her hands along the words trying to figure out what they could say. Five sentences, 25 of the words are repeated, and the rest are different.

"Maybe I should try using the Force," she suggested knowing it has helped her out in the last two trials. "Okay, let's try it."

She sits down, crosses her legs, and begins to meditate as she tries figuring out what the words mean. Calling out to the Force she tries to see if she can get some help on what the words mean and how they can help her.

As she begins to concentrate though something began appearing before her. She begins seeing large ships of the Forever Empire heading towards new Mars and Earth II. She can hear people screaming, she can see her friends being struck down, and she can see her home being destroyed. This caused her to break focus as she saw these images and looks up at the words.

She gets up and begins looking for the drone. "Hello?! I need whatever you have here to help me save my planet. It's being attacked and I need to get back to them right away. Tell me the answer and please lend me whatever you have here to fight them!"

There was no response, which caused Aeon to get upset, especially how much time she has wasted here. "Please! Answer me! I need your help. We're wasting time!"

Again, no response. This caused her to get upset as she tries using the Force to force the door from where she came from to open. She tries as hard as she can to force it open, but it won't budge.

This caused her to fall on her knees and begins banging the door. Small tears begin forming around her eyes as she begs for the door to open.

"Please open! My family, my friends, my home is being attacked! I need to save them! I need to…" she stops as she realized that even if she did go back there is no way she can save them.

She failed them. She couldn't save her friends, she couldn't save her home, and she couldn't save her brother. The only family she had left. Now, all gone.

"What am I going to do?"

Suddenly the small bird landed nearby and begins moving its head against her arm. She looks down to see the bird as it looks up at her. She tries wiping away her tears and stares at the bird back. "I couldn't save them. I couldn't protect them. I failed everyone. And now they're all gone."

The bird continued staring at her and then suddenly a voice began speaking to her. A woman speaking to her in a soft and gentle voice. "They are not gone, my child. They are still alive."

Aeon snapped out of her thoughts and turns towards the bird, a little surprise that it spoke to her. "Y-you can talk?"

"Yes and no," the bird replied. "Yes I can speak, but not like you. I am speaking to you, through the Force," the bird explained as she continued to speak. "What you saw was a vision. A vision that will come to pass if you let your fear get to you. You must not give up and you must keep moving forward. Only then can you help save your loved ones."

"B-but how?" Aeon looks over at the words and lets out a small sigh. "There's no way I can figure out what these words mean."

"Yes you can. You just need to keep trying and not give up," the bird flies over to where the birds are as Aeon follows her. "Think about the two trials you went through. They were difficult, you got frustrated, but once you began putting your fate in the Force you were able to get through them. This is no different. Try again, young one and you will get through this."

Aeon looks at the words again and then to the bird. "Who are you?"

"All will be explained in time," said the bird as it begins to glow. "For now, trust in the Force and never give up."

A bright light engulfed the room as Aeon covered her eyes. Once the light began to disappear, she sees the bird is gone leaving her alone in the room.

She lets out a small sigh and knew she had to try again. Closing her eyes she moves her hand out and begins calling on the Force. Those visions she saw earlier began coming back, but she pushed on through and slowly began getting pass them. The words began to glow as she begins seeing them more clearly.

"There is no emotion, there is peace," she began as the first few words glowed brightly as she continued. "There is no ignorance, there is knowledge. There is no passion, there is serenity. There is no chaos, there is harmony. There is no death, there is the Force."

The words shone brightly as though they themselves had been waiting for one to decipher them. The wall slid smoothly to the side and the drone was waiting on the other side.

"Well done, Aeon." it sounded pleased, "Her prophecy has come to pass and now I shall assist you in your duty."

Aeon walks over to where the drone is at, wondering what it meant. "Who's prophecy? What is this place?"

"I'll explain on the way," the drone turned, "Follow me please."

"Wait," Aeon stopped the drone. "At least…tell me your name."

It turned to her and announced with great pride, "I am Prototype, guardian of this facility and keeper of the legacy of Ahsoka Tano."

That's the end of the chapter and surprise huh? Okay, let me explain. My friend the general started his story series of the Forever Empire with Star Wars. We met and did a crossover with our characters meeting until my OCs met Ahsoka after the story with my general's characters ended.

So, this crossover is Star Wars and DC. In the story Ahsoka lives on Earth and marries one of my OCs where they have kids. Prototype is created by my friend General Herbison. He made Prototype who has a thing for Ahsoka.

If you want to know more you can check out our crossovers. But I would recommend reading his stories first before getting to mine. So, you have an understanding of all of this. But yeah, pretty much Aeon is related to Ahsoka, which explains how she did what she did.

Anyways, that's pretty much the end of this chapter and hope you all liked it. If you all also liked how the chapter went please leave some reviews and let us know what you thought of the chapter. Nothing negative please and we'll see you all next time.

Take care and have a good day.
