Umm…Sorry for not uploading for a while, but I'm here now and here's a new chap.

I own nothing but my characters.

It had been a while since Elisea and Prescott were captured by the Mad Doctor, and she still wasn't talking to him. She had woken up from her sleep, though of course the Gremlin couldn't really tell for a good hour after she had done, since she didn't say a word. At some point however, they were visited in their collected solitude, but the Mad Doctor himself of course. When they both saw the toon coming, their reactions were very contrasting to each other. Prescott shied away from the imposing figure, but Elisea stood up, and refused to back down, looking completely unamused by the entire situation she was in, which of course only humored the Doctor.

"Hmm, you do seem a lot like that annoying bunny; you almost could be his brat," the blonde toon just glared after he spoke for a while, letting it intensify at the Doctor's words before she said anything. The evil toon was pacing leisurely around the glass dome that they were trapped in, not looking the slightest bit bothered that she was glaring a fiery anger into his skull. Prescott meanwhile, was busy trying to avoid the Doctor and the Beetleworks that seemed to be almost in the shadows, but could be heard as clear as day. Elisea wasn't bothered by that however, her anger instead focused on the Doctor, where it had previously been spat out to the Gremlin only a few hours beforehand.

"I am his daughter," She spat every word with extra venom and distaste, which in turn was only met with even more amusement as he just chuckled and finally stopped pacing around to look at her fully, still unaffected by the glare she was giving him. Prescott was actually sitting just behind where the Doctor had stopped pacing, and was immediately frightened into hiding behind Elisea as the Beetleworks became more pronounced out of the darkness around them, clicking and buzzing as they stood behind their creator, awaiting for any order that he was going to give them. The Mad Doctor's reply didn't look as though, on the outside that it affected her, but inside she felt the seed of hurt be planted in the bottom of her stomach, and grow up to her throat and hands, which clenched into fists.

"Funny, I don't see any bunny ears on that small head of yours," He cackled, watching the smallest of twinges in her face at what he said, despite how stony faced she seemed after that. The Beetleworks chattered and clanked with their creator's laughter; climbing all over the glass dome that protected the pair from them, yet at the same time trapped them into having to listen to the evil toon's mocking and stinging words. The mad toon turned, and started to disappear into the shadows that practically enclosed around the glass dome they were stuck in, leaving with the intention of a last few words to have the upper hand in the situation, as if he didn't already.

"Well enjoy your stay here if you will Princess, there's certain guests in my manor that I must attend to," After that, and a slam of a door later, they were left once again alone in the darkness. Elisea, meanwhile, was completely seething from his last remark, and it, surprisingly took only a few hits to the glass dome in frustration before she suddenly came to a conclusion, or rather an epiphany. The toon teen looked back over at the Gremlin, who was looking the other way, in fact all around him, just in case those mechanical monsters came back sooner than expected.

"Prescott…" The Gremlin nearly jumped at her voice, saying volumes more about how afraid he truly was than his own words could describe, but he did look to her in confusion eventually, wondering why she was speaking to him again, since he had apparently ruined her only plans and chances she had at showing her father that she could be independent and look after herself. But she seemed to be ignoring that fact now, instead holding her hand out for something, and her what with the tone in her voice being more than just steely and calmer than she ought to be with what she said next, he knew that he should definitely do as he was asked.

"I need to borrow your wrench,"

Mickey and Gus were practically speed running through the haunted mansion, looking everywhere they could for where the two others of their group could be being held. But so far it seemed fruitless, as it didn't seem to matter how many doors and rooms they checked, puzzles they solved, or Blots that Mickey painted and thinned, they weren't any closer to finding them. The famous mouse didn't seem to want to give up however, in fact he was only more determined with every passing moment, despite the lowly confidence that his fellow Gremlin seemed to be carrying around with him like the dark clouds that were haunting the creepy mansion like a disease.

"Look Mickey, there's a good chance that the Mad Doctor didn't keep them here, since, as he said, he did want to keep them as tools against Oswald. So keeping them here, where it's possible for us to find and rescue them, doesn't seem all that smart. And he is supposed to be a genius." But for some reason the famous mouse didn't want to believe his rather negative words, instead continuing to look through the library for any secret passageways that could lead to somewhere where the two could be being kept. Something seemed to be in the mouse's intuition that said they were still being kept here, somewhere, but definitely here.

"No Gus, they have to be here somewhere, I just know it," And that was the last they said on the matter, since their stances on this was obvious enough , and there wasn't much else they could say on the matter, besides talk to each other in places they had checked, where they were not found. Mickey knew full well that he had to find Elisea, and as soon as possible. Not just because the rabbit would not just hate him more than he did now, and might even deck him for it, but also for the fact that there was something he wanted to tell her, and her brother. Something that he knew he shouldn't keep from them, or Oswald. But now was not a time to think about this, Mickey thought to himself as he searched another room only to find nothing, what was important was finding the teen… and Prescott too.

Meanwhile Oswald certainly did not like what he was seeing as soon as he jumped out of the Projector, which was nothing short of bedlam and discord. Blots were everywhere; literally, a ton of them even ran past him and the Cards that were with him, completely ignoring them as they attacked anything and anyone. Immediately the Lucky Rabbit felt fear in him for his children that he knew had been left here instead of in a jail cell in Mean Street, but that fear seemed a little muted when he saw some of his children attack back at the Blots in groups, and being very successful to keep themselves safe and in those groups.

So his fear for his bunny children was settled somewhat, but the fear for Elliot and Elisea kept on going. First he and the Cards rounded up as many of the bunny children as they could and leading them back to the Projector, just to make sure that they would be safe, even if Oswald knew somewhat that they could take care of themselves, he just wanted to be sure. Many of the Bunny Children that were lead towards the exit of the mountain asked after their human siblings, something that didn't help Oswald's anxiety as he heard them state that they hadn't seen either of them for quite a while.

"Are they gonna be okay daddy?" One of them asked as they were being ushered towards the projector, and was just about to jump through like the rest of their brothers and sisters. Oswald paused, holding the small toon bunny in his arms as he thought over what he should say to them. Other children stopped as well to look at their father questioningly, some of them looking more fearful than others and didn't want to leave until they got their answer. Finally the Rabbit seemed to reach a decision, and replied to the bunny's question as calmly and confidently that he could manage, despite how much he didn't feel that way.

"They'll be fine Oswald Jr, now of you all go. Be good and don't cause too much trouble for Pete, and stay away from the police station!" he called out the last of he said as his children all jumped through the Projector, even though he knew full well that they were not going to listen. After they were gone, and Oswald did have to check around a few more times to make sure, he and the Cards started to ascend the mountain, looking for the human children of Oswald. But it was a difficult process, as more Blots than they were use to on the mountain seemed to be surrounding them at all times, meaning that instead of ascending the mountain, they were essentially fighting their way up.

It was a long and difficult process, but eventually they made it up to the top where the Rabbit and his children primarily lived. Moving through they came across more Cards, who looked happier to see him than perhaps Oswald had really expected. They told him of what was going so far, that the Blots had just appeared out of nowhere on the radar, and that there was something with them, something big that they couldn't really see on the monitors. At least, not now apparently, as some of them stated that there was something on the screens that they themselves hadn't actually seen.

"Then who did?" The Rabbit snapped impatiently as he was led down endless hallways that they all knew off by heart, moving quickly towards Oswald's office/monitor room. The team was given some time to relax, as there were still large metal doors that kept the Blots out and away from them, at least for now. At least the team would have relaxed, but they were put on edge at best by the Lucky Rabbit asking after the safety of his children, which was expected from a father so they couldn't or wouldn't exactly argue it. The answer he received was such a relief to him; it took of a genuine amount of weight from his shoulders, at least somewhat as the situation still called for him to be on focus.

"Your son Elliot, he's been leading us while you were away," The Card said, just as they entered the office, where his son was standing over to monitors, looking them over with more seriousness than anyone else in the room had ever seen in him, and they had all known the boy as he was growing up. As much as the father in Oswald wanted to either hug his adopted son, or shake him silly and demand on why he was still here and in danger, he knew that there was something on Elliot's mind that needed to be heard; something that already Oswald's leader side knew he needed to know. He hopped up to Elliot's side, standing beside them as they both looked at the monitors, piercing eyes never leaving the screens while questions and answers were given between the two of them.

"The Bunny children are out of the mountain, Elisea has to go next," Oswald muttered, not noticing the fear that had struck in Elliot's eyes until the next question that was asked by the blonde toon, who still had not looked away from the screens while he did so. Except now as his eyes looked over the monitors, he wasn't just looking out over for something that he wasn't sure was even real, but hoping to seek out his sister as well. And if the father side of Oswald hadn't had enough of being completely frightened to death, the next sample of information was certainly something he got to bring him closer to that point.

"You mean you haven't seen her at Mean Street? Because she's been missing ever since this attack started," Elliot tried to stay calm and restrained, just like he remembered his father always telling him when he was a teen, that leaders always have to remain calm in the worst of situations. But inside he was a mess of fear and sporadic sadness as he suddenly came to the conclusion that something might have happened to her, something bad. Oswald wasn't far behind him, and was actually having a harder time to hide it then his eldest son. But still neither of them looked away from the screens, as now they searched and explored every single centimeter that was displayed on the monitors, hoping to not find what they thought they would.

Some time passed where neither son nor father could say a word to each other, as nothing could come up and even if something did, they wouldn't be able to bear doing it as it could mean looking away from the monitors. And no matter how much they looked, how much they tried to seek her out on those television sets, their hearts only fell further and further when nothing was seen. Wherever she was, if she was here and…. Or maybe not. They had no idea, and hoped to god that their fears wouldn't be confirmed. Eventually though, Oswald had to speak up, as the leader in him still had a question requiring an answer.

"The Cards told me that apparently there was something on the radar and monitors just before the initial attack, something that only you saw, what was it Elliot?" The answer didn't need to be spoken truly, but all the same it had to be to crush that hope that it was something else. Because it couldn't be anything else in all honesty, since it was fact that hundreds and thousands of Blots practically or rather suddenly fall out of the sky, unseen and unnoticed until it was too late, what else could it have been? Elliot took a deep breath, trying to calm his already rapid beating heart. What he chose as a reply made Elliot feel annoyed at himself, as he was stuttering and stumbling over words when he was trying to remain calm I the face of danger and his father, to be like a leader.

"I-I didn't really know what I saw, but… there was something there, I know that and-"

"Elliot, what did you see?" Oswald knew well enough that when Elliot said he wasn't sure what he had seen, that he was lying, and was actually hoping that he hadn't seen what he did, what he knew full well he did. The twenty something toon took a deep and an attempt at calming, breath and answered evenly to the best of his ability, but memories he thought was lost years ago came back to his mind, replaying in front of his eyes like old screened movies, and not one of the memories had lost any of the fear, and helplessness the ten year old him had felt at the time.

"I saw… I saw the Shadow Blot."

The glass dome shattered after a few good whacks, Elisea having to quickly take a few steps back to make sure herself and Prescott weren't hurt by the falling glass. After a short while she handed back the wrench to the Gremlin and walked forward carefully, making sure she didn't step on any of the sharpest of the glass pieces. Prescott simply floated up into the air to avoid the glass, and watched her as carefully as she was watching her footsteps. After a while though Elisea managed to get past that and was now standing with Prescott in the dark, looking about the place they couldn't see, for exit that they might not find.

"We have to get out of here soon, a Beetleworks would have heard that already and will either come and look for itself, or tell the Mad Doctor and bring hundreds more with them," Elisea muttered to what she was hoping was still Prescott floating beside her. She eventually did hear a squeak of agreement from the Gremlin, so she took that as an agreement and continued to walk forward through the sinister place they were in, completely blinded by the darkness on where they were going, and where they had been. The small light that had been left where the glass dome once was, the only reason they could sort of still see their hands, was behind them, and fading fast the further they walked. And after a while, true darkness did surround them altogether, the small light being gone for good.

"Did you hear that?" Prescott whispered out of the literal darkness, clutching suddenly onto Elisea's arm and frightening her more than she really needed. The toon teen sighed mutely in already growing annoyance and was about to say something to get him to let go, when a noise interrupted her from that. It was like footsteps, but heavier and closer than Elisea expected or liked in any sense. The footsteps sounded as though it were all around them, far away from them and yet at the same time, right next to them. Elisea didn't move as soon as the sound reached her ears, the sound nearly paralyzing her in the fear of being found by some strange creature or Beetleworks that could be anywhere around them.

But at some point, she grew so fearful of the footsteps being right next to her, and got the sensation of icy cold wind on the back of her neck, that she clutched Prescott's hand, and started running blindly through the darkness, her footsteps and quickened breaths being nothing compared to the larger footsteps and odd sounds coming from behind them as whatever was in the dark with them was chasing after them. The Gremlin had said not a word since pointing out the sound to her, even as she started running in fear wand the sounds of the creature was behind them. At some point however, they were forced to a stop as there was suddenly a wall in front of them, that Elisea run right into of course.

Quickly she got to her feet, still clutching Prescott's hand as they heard the creature stop right in front of them, and was possibly even sniffing the air, since she could hear him making a strange sniffing noise, to seek them out. Now Elisea felt too scared to even breath, and was left to take small gulps of the dust tasting air around them. It was while she was subconsciously thinking over the taste of the air that she had a sudden idea. Sure, this idea had more than just one way of working out all wrong, but it was better than just standing here and waiting for the thing that was near them in the dark to find them for good.

Taking a small step forward, she listened intently to the sound under her feet instead of the creature, and was thankful more than anything that she heard a creak under her feet. So that was the first step in her sudden plan thankfully turning successful, the second step however was going to be much harder a challenge, as it counted on her taking even more chances and risking not just her life, but Prescott's as well, despite how much she didn't like him right at that moment. So she looked down at where he might be next to her, and squeezed his hand tighter before finally making her move for the next part of her plan, trying to ignore all the while at how much she was shaking.

Elisea slowly lifted her foot, as if she were giving herself time to change her mind and find another way out of this, but she knew well enough that there might not be any other way out. So after some time of her foot being lifted in the air, she smashed it down on the creaky and hopefully unstable floor underneath her feet. And while she might be horrified that the creature that was in the dark with them suddenly started moving around faster, and right towards them, the toon teen was too busy continuing to smash her foot against the floor underneath their feet. The stomping grew to forcibly jumping, and just as the creature was growing nearer once more, the cold air once again being on her neck and the frightened yells of the Gremlin in her ears, something finally happened.

The floor broke from underneath them.

Sorry if it's a little shorter than usual, but I'm going to rewrite the past chapters as well before I update again.
