I was sleeping, when suddenly, a force landed on me. Shooting upwards, I looked to see my sister, Daisy, had jumped on me.

"Not cool…!" I groaned.

"Sorry, but you wouldn't wake up. Someone is at the door for you!" She replied.

"What…? It's nine in the morning..." I continued to groan.

She jumped off me and told me to get up. I didn't want to, but I forced myself to. And after falling off my bed and inching my way to my clothes, I got dressed and pretty much slid down the stairs. Opening the door, I saw Eclipse standing there, with an expression that I couldn't make out.

"Dude, you look like a zombie. Sorry, but I want as much daylight possible. I'll, uh, wait when you clean up." He said.

I nodded and walked back upstairs to get a quick shower and dress into clean clothes. After dealing with my nest of fur, I walked downstairs once again and opened the door.

"Well, I'm ready now… Lets get going…" I yawned.

"Right! We're going to a place called mist lake." He exclaimed.

"Alright, lead the way." I replied.

He then lead me south for some distance, and finally we reached the edge of mist lake. Mist lake is more of a damp, dark area. It's mostly swamps, vines, trees, and so on. But Eclipse seemed okay with it, and pushed onward. He explained that we were trying to look for some plants. Not any kind of plant, he said. Rare plants that only grow in this location. He described them, and they seem pretty unreal honestly. Anyways, he wanted to find a plant that glows purple with a spiky ball in the middle. A red plant that have oddly shaped patterns. A thorny plant like a rose, but it's cyan. And a bluish plant that glows with a red lighting.

Trying to remember, I just accepted. He seemed happy with this, and told me he'll explore half of the forest, and I'll explore the other half. He then ran off to search for this 'rare' plants. Guess this was for research or whatever Rex and him are doing. Still don't know what they're making, but whatever, maybe if I help, I'll be able to see this thing.

So I began looking around the swamp, trying to find these plants Eclipse talked about. Ten minutes, twenty minutes, forty minutes, an hour, and still nothing. I was about to give up, when I caught a faint glow in the corner of my eye.

Looking back in confusion, I moved closer to whatever made that glow. Pushing pass the small amount of leaves, my eyes lit up. In a small patch of dirt, I saw a blue plant that glowed red.

"So Eclipse isn't crazy after all. Finally…! If these plants are that hard to find, I'll be here all day!" I thought.

Just wanting to at least get one, I quickly and carefully removed the plant from it's roots. Putting it safely away, I sighed with relief.

"Now Eclipse won't tear into me saying I hardly tried..." I thought.

Getting up, I continued to look, but that was another ten minutes lost that I won't get back. Luckily, I found Eclipse, who was hoarding a bunch of them. I stood there, extremely annoyed, but hid it. He seemed suspicious when I showed him the only plant I got, but he didn't mind, as he got all he needs now.

He then told me that we need to find someplace open, and I just followed him. We then reached a big open field, and he dropped the bag on the ground. Sitting down with him, he grabbed a few plants, water, and a flask.

"What? Is he going to do some chemistry or something?" I thought, and so I asked.

"Don't seem like a good place to do chemistry."

He looked at me.

"Huh? No, no. It isn't really chemistry. Shine and I agreed not to do any harmful or unconfirmed recipes till we're eighteen. This is something different." He said.

"Um, okay..." I replied.

Eclipse nodded and began doing whatever. After a few minutes, he combined the plants together. Looking at him, he broke down the plants into the flask. The stuff inside the flask turned a different color to my surprise. Eclipse looked excited and started shaking it. Shaking for a minute, he stopped and placed it down. It started glowing a bright pinkish color, and looking closer, it looked like it was pulsing.

"Uh… What are you doing? Are you sure this is safe" I asked.

"It's safe. Just a mixture of different colors pretty much. The glowing affect is just something else, don't worry about it." He said.

He then pulled out a package of something. Taking off the cap, he squeezed a few drops of the green liquid inside the flask. He then began shaking it once again for a minute, and placed it down. Looking at it now, the liquid inside the flask stiffen.

"There! This is glowing paint! Looks cool, huh?" He said.

"It does look cool. So… You wanted to make paint…?" I asked.

"Well, I needed to make paint. Hunter and I need some paint for our project." He replied.

"Guess you aren't that good at seeking items. But it was still fun being with you. Boring doing this stuff alone..." He said.

"Those plants are difficult to find for some reason, but yeah… I guess it was fun. Made some glowing paint. That's new." I replied.

"Hmm hmm. Glowing paint works best with these plants. Well, we should be heading back now." He said, getting up.

I got up with him and we walked back to emerald city. Arriving back around half an hour later, we were about to depart, when he shoved an extra flask at me.

"I was able to make two. Not sure if you like painting, but maybe give something you enjoy a new paint job? We'll talk later, okay?" He said, walking off.

Looking at the bottle, I guess I could find a use for it. Could probably paint my controller for my console, I don't know. Well, after that, I just went home since there wasn't anything going on.

Once home, I walked upstairs, placed the bottle on the shelf, and enjoyed the rest of the day doing random things...
