A/N: First off I wanna explain why I changed the title of this story. The word Amorous has more of a sexual meaning and that's not really what I'm going for. So I chose Concrete because Tony and Ziva's love is concrete. It's the one thing in their lives if nothing else at times that is secure and stable. Maybe leave a review and let me know what you think of the title change?

I wanna thank everyone so much for reading! The last chapter, and other chapters throughout the story, got hella hits just overnight! The only thing I'm disappointed in was the fact that I got zero reviews…

I'm not one of those authors who is gonna force her readers to review for a new chapter, but I do love reviews. Especially since I just started writing again and I don't feel like my writing is at it's best. I just wanna hear what you guys think.

Also since Amorous is all one shots I'm always open to any requests for the next chapter. :)

Soooo don't be shy leave a review!

Chapter 8

Tony felt his phone vibrate in his pocket as he walked into the bullpen and checked it to see a text from Ziva 'Be there in 30 :-)' it said. He replied 'Okay sweet ;-P' and sat down at his desk to get back to work.

"So, Bishop looks like you finally get to meet, Ziva." He told his new partner.

"Great! I'm eager to meet her. She was obviously very important to your team and you guys cared about her a lot." She said.

Ziva had come home about a week ago. The only people she had felt like visiting with were Tony and Gibbs, which was completely understandable. Now though, she told Tony that she felt like she was ready to come see the rest of the team.

"Ziva's coming?" McGee asked, entering the bullpen having just heard the tail end of the conversation.

"Yup. She's back McProbie." Tony said to his friend.

"How long has she been back?" He asked.

"About a week. She just hasn't been ready to come see everyone until now." Tony explained.

"Understandable." McGee shrugged, walking back to his desk. "Should we tell Abby or let her be surprised?"

"Surprise her." Tony smiled.

About ten minutes later the team heard the familiar ding of the elevator and out stepped Ziva.

"Hey, Ziva glad to see you back." McGee greeted giving his old friend a hug.

"It is good to see you too, McGee." She smiled.

Ziva then turned toward her old desk to introduce herself to the new team member. "You must be Ellie Bishop. I am Ziva David. It is nice to…"

Surprisingly Bishop cut her off, a confused look crossing her face. "Wait… Camila?"

"Riley?" Ziva asked the look of confusion on her face matching Bishop's.

"Oh my God!" Bishop exclaimed.

"This is crazy!" Ziva said pulling Bishop into a hug.

"Um… Either of you feel like explaining how you guys know each other?" Tony asked.

The two let out a laugh.

"Remember how I told you I was deployed to the Middle East as a preemptive terror analyst?" Ellie asked Tony.

"Ah, that makes sense. So judging by the fake names I'm guessing you guys worked undercover together?" He asked.

"For about a month, yes." Ziva said. "We got along really well and sort of had a lot of fun tracking potential terrorists."

"Really? That was fun?" Tony asked with a laugh.

"I don't see how you know us both and find it surprising that was fun for us." Ellie laughed.

"Then after the mission was over we did not stay in touch I guess for fear of putting each other in any danger if we revealed our true identities." Ziva told Tony.

"This happened before you came to NCIS?" He asked.

"Yes, actually right before." She said.

"This is awesome I was so afraid you weren't gonna like me." Bishop told Ziva.

"I was as well, actually." Ziva laughed.

"This is great!" Tony announced. "Now I don't have to worry about you two arguing or anything."

"Ziva has ended up knowing pretty much every new person to come to NCIS." McGee stated.

"Just Jenny and now Ellie." Ziva laughed. "Now let's go see Abby and Ducky."

"Okay, you two go ahead, me and McGoo have got a lot to get done." Tony said sitting back down at his desk.

The probationary and former agents headed toward the elevator.

"I'm so happy to see you again!" Ellie said once they were in the elevator. "I worried a lot about you after the mission because I know you said your father was sending you to the states to help find your brother who had gone rogue."

"Yes, I am so glad to meet you again." Ziva smiled. "How that mission turned out is a very long story, but I will tell you sometime, okay?"

"Okay, I understand." Ellie smiled then the doors opened and they were outside of Abby's lab.

"Abby!" Ellie called jogging into her lab. "You'll never guess who's here!"

"Hm… The Assistant Director? He likes to make random visits. Although, nobody would necessarily get excited about that…"

"Well I thought maybe you would be happy to see me?" Ziva asked stepping into the room.

Abby froze for a moment.

"Oh my God!" Abby squealed tackling Ziva in one of her tremendous hugs. "Are you really here? Am I dreaming?" She asked, pinching her arm.

Ziva let out a loud laugh. "You are most certainly not dreaming." She then explained to her friend how she had been home for about a week, 'Yes, Abby with Tony.', and wanted some time to get settled and talk with Gibbs before she came to visit her friends at NCIS.

"That's completely understandable." Abby said. "I'm just so glad you're back!"

"I think Tony said something about the team going out to eat somewhere tonight. See you then?" Ziva invited.

"Of course!" Abby replied.

With that Ziva and Ellie headed to their next stop: Ducky and Palmer.

Ziva saw Ducky hunched over a body that he was working on, but when the doors slid open he didn't turn his head. "Gibbs, I am afraid you are a little early I don't have much to tell you just yet."

"I am not Gibbs, Ducky." Ziva laughed correcting the old man.

"Ziva, my dear!" He exclaimed removing his gloves and apron.

"It is so good to see you, Ducky." She said walking over to hug the old man.

"What brings you back to D.C.?" He asked.

"Tony." She said, smiling and giving a light shrug.

"Long story short, I presume?" He asked.

"That is all anyone really needs to know I guess." Ziva laughed. "Where's Jimmy?"

"He is taking some papers to Abby for me. He should be back- Ah there he is." Ducky said as Jimmy walked through the door mid sentence.

"Ziva?" Jimmy said blinking a few times. He moved toward Ziva and gave an awkward hug.

Ziva laughed expecting nothing more from 'the autopsy gremlin' as Tony still sometimes called him. "It is good to see you, Jimmy."

"It's good to see you too, Ziva. A nice surprise." He said.

"Let's go see if Gibbs will give you the next two hours off before dinner so we can catch up." Ziva suggested.

"Okay! Although I doubt he'll go for it…" Ellie said.

"Oh, I am sure we can convince him." Ziva assured her.

Sure enough Gibbs was fine with it. He knew Ziva had a lot she needed to tell her old friend and Ellie probably did as well. A lot happens in ten years.

The two women went to a coffee shop and got talking.

Ziva explained everything about Ari and what all went down in that situation.

"Oh, Ziva I'm so sorry." Ellie said placing her hand over one of Ziva's.

"It is okay. Like I said he wasn't my brother anymore and I've moved on."

Then she explained about her father and went on to tell the reason why she was back.

"I just needed some time to gather my thoughts and find myself again. After all that I did not know what I wanted out of life anymore, but now I do and Tony is a large part of what I want." She continued.

"That's good." Ellie smiled. "To be honest… I felt so unwelcome when I first came to NCIS. Gibbs seemed so shut off from everyone and Tony definitely wasn't too fond of me. McGee seemed like he wanted to get to know me, but Abby wouldn't let him. And Abby… I feel like she hated me at first."

"I do not think she hated you… She just has problems getting used to new people especially when they are taking someone else's place. At least you guys are friends now though." Ziva said.

"Yes, I love Abby." Ellie said with a laugh. "She told me about Kate though. It helped me understand a little more how she treated me at first. I realized the second I sat down at your desk and gauged everyone else's emotions that I had some unfillable shoes to try and fit into."

"I felt the same way when I started at NCIS. Kate had just been killed, by my brother Ari, and I knew that it would be a long time before my co-workers accepted me, but it happened eventually." Ziva said. "So where did you go after our mission?"

"Well I actually applied to NCIS, but I know now that you got the job." She laughed. "So then I went back to the NSA and kept working on finding potential terrorist in the War on Terror."

"So you liked your job at the NSA?" Ziva asked.

"Yes, not as much as I like working at NCIS though. Hey… you remember Benham Parsa?" Ellie asked.

"Oh yeah, we tracked him down in the Middle East and labeled him a potential terrorist at the time. Did he live up to our expectations?" She asked.

"Oh yeah." Ellie said. "And I was to be his last victim. Gibbs actually saved my life…"

"Wow." Ziva said.

"Yeah." Ellie said with a huff. "I tracked him for six years until the NSA reassigned me 'for my own good' then I got assigned to NCIS. Right after the Parsa case is actually when Gibbs offered me a permanent position."

"So what happened with Parsa?" Ziva asked. She knew Benham had two parents whose deaths he wanted to avenge. Just like most terrorist he had something to avenge that he felt other people needed to suffer because of. His parents' deaths are what drew Ellie and Ziva (Riley and Camila at the time) to Parsa. His suspicious behaviors and terrible past lead to be a little weary of him so they put him on the watch list. Then he actually started carrying out acts of terrorism as suspected. Ziva lost connection with the case when she came to America to look for Ari though.

"Well, we started tracking him at NCIS, with NSA collaboration of course. Then our forces picked him up and had him on a Navy ship." Ellie told her. She then went on to explain how Benham tried to form a psychological connection with her and it worked. She started to see the man instead of the monster. Which was exactly what he wanted. She got too involved in the case and that's why the NSA reassigned her and once Gibbs found out he didn't want her to have anything to do with the case, but she convinced him she could be of help. Turns out she was right. Her food association tick even helped find a lead. Sure most of her leads were gut feelings, but they turned out to be right from all the tracking she'd done over the years. "Then like I said I was his last victim. I convinced Gibbs to let me talk alone with Parsa and it didn't turn out well. He killed two soldiers then locked us into the brig and right before he shot me Gibbs got in somehow and killed him."

"Gibbs has a way of coming to the rescue that is for sure." Ziva smiled. "I am glad Banham has been stopped."

"Yup. One more off the Most Wanted wall. I really like working with the team." Ellie said.

"Yeah it was a great experience and I loved everyday of it. I think it's just not for me anymore…" Ziva admitted. "My entire adult life I've held a badge and a gun. I've been out in the field and on the job and I feel like I could be of use elsewhere. Maybe I could still work for NCIS just not on the major crimes team."

Just then Ellie's phone buzzed. She looked down and let out a big sigh, running a hand through her hair.

"You okay?" Ziva asked.

"Yeah it's just this guy I dated forever ago, like way back before I even met my husband, moved to D.C. and now he won't leave me alone. I blocked him off Facebook, but somehow he got my number… He keeps asking to meet up with me. He won't take no for an answer." She told Ziva.

"Tell Gibbs." Ziva instructed.

"No…" Ellie declined. "I think I can take care of it.

"Alright, but if it gets to be too much I'm serious, tell Gibbs he will not mind taking care of it at all." Ziva assured.

"I will." Ellie said.

The team all sat at the table at Ziva's favorite Bar and Grill with menus.

"Ziver, it's great to have you back. My family is all back together again." Gibbs said from across the table.

"I am so happy to be back." Ziva smiled, squeezing reaching for Tony's hand next to her. "I just needed some time to gather my thoughts and myself."

"Understandable." Ducky assured from her other side.

"I'm just so glad to have my best friend back!" Abby exclaimed. "Now You, Ellie, Breena and I can all have girls days and stuff!"

"That sound lovely, Abby." Ziva said.

"I just can't believe we ended up knowing each other." Ellie said with a laugh.

"I know it's so crazy." McGee said.

"Well, like I said earlier I was super nervous these two weren't gonna get along." Tony admitted. "Super glad I don't have to worry about that."

Just then Ellie's phone buzzed. "I uh… I gotta take this. Excuse me." She said getting up and heading outside.

Ziva had a pretty good idea she knew who it was so she watched Ellie through the window of the restaurant. She looked a little distressed. Just as she was about to go outside and ask her friend to hand her the phone a man walked up to Ellie. "Oh, God." Ziva said, pulling the gun from her pants leg and running outside. Gibbs quickly followed suit.

"NCIS back away from her! Hands in the air." Gibbs ordered.

By this point Ellie had drawn her own gun too.

"Bryan, I told you no. I told you I was married and I don't want anything to do with you. What is wrong with you? Why can't you take no for an answer?" She pleaded.

"Because, Ellie I loved you. I still do. You're the most perfect girl on Earth and I can't just let you go." He said, his hands held in the air above his head guns still pointed at him.

"You're gonna have to, Bryan." Ellie said.

By this point some local police had shown up.

"Has he been bothering you for a while?" Gibbs asked Ellie.

"Yeah… More like stalking." She said.

"Then you can press charges. Take him in." He told the local law enforcement.

Then they went back inside to enjoy their meal.

"I've had one of those psycho stalkers before." Abby said placing a hand on Ellie's shoulder. "They aren't fun, but Gibbs took care of it for me."

"Sure did." He said. "I'd do anything like that for anyone at this table. Nobody messes with my family."

A/N: So I know this chapter wasn't very Tiva-y, but I liked the idea of Ziva and Bishop knowing each other somehow. So, when I found out that Bishop had been deployed to the Middle East I got a little inspired.

Please leave me a review guys. I love to hear what you think and I'd love some one shot requests for future chapters.

Thanks for reading! -Val
