A/N: I don't own The Avengers, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,or Thor. Also, the time line has been skewed to allow for the preceding oneshots. Everything from Captain America: the Winter Soldier forward is a year after it happens in the cannon, except Steve met Sam, and Sam joined the team (sort of) before WS. R&R!

"Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!", Jane said to her husband as she shook his shoulder while bouncing on the bed like a child on Christmas morning.

"Jane, has the sun even risen?", Thor asked in response to the shaking.

"Almost, well, no, not even close; but what does that matter? We're going to EPCOT, the park devoted to science, culture, the future, the past, and technology! Aren't you excited?", Jane chirped happily, and in truth, Thor had been a little excited about going to EPCOT ever since he and Loki had found out that one of the country pavilions there was Norway.

"I am eager to see the Norway pavilion, yes. I hear it is one of the countries that still knows who I am as a god, not just an Avenger.", he said in hopes of temporarily causing Jane to forget about science.

Jane let out a giggle as she moved closer to Thor, resting her head on his chest. The thunder god automatically wrapped his arms around his wife.

"Could you say something in Old Norse?", she asked as she tried to muffle a yawn.

Thor, knowing she was tired, happily obliged. Old Norse tended to act as a bedtime story for Jane.

"Ykkarr yfirbragđ vænn líki stjarans.", (This roughly translates to "Your appearance is beautiful like the stars." Or at least I hope it does... my translations tend to get skewed from time to time.) he said, and she was asleep against his chest before he had even finished the statement.

Thor smiled to himself as he, too, slowly fell back to sleep. A few more hours of sleep, at least until the alarm clock went off, could not possibly hurt, could it?

Surprisingly, no one was hurt that morning. Apparently, Pepper was in the same boat as Thor, because she was sharing a suite with four scientists and Tony. As they entered the the park, the six scientists, Tony, and Trip were all looking in every direction, eager to find something science-y to do. In an attempt to wrangle them all back in, Phil and Darcy steered the group towards Spaceship Earth. That was where the family "accidentally" met up with Grant Ward.

"What is he doing here?", Skye asked, and her father resisted the urge to roll his eyes at his daughter's childish behavior.

"Well, I need someone to keep an eye on him until we leave. Given how likely it is that the other members of the family would kill him, I can only trust you with this. Skye, please don't argue with me.", he said to her, and Skye relented.

"Fine, I'll watch him. But, who's going to go on this ride with Roger?", Skye asked.

"Tony is, and Pepper is going on the ride with Melinda. I've thought this through and talked to the parties in question. Anything else?", Phil responded, and Skye shook her head as she walked over to Grant.

"Looks like I'm your babysitter now.", she said to her former SO.

"Don't worry, I'll be on my best behavior.", he replied in a semi-sarcastic tone.

"You better! Just don't make me regret not killing you.", Skye said with a slight laugh as they made their way to the line for the ride, where the family already was.

Jane was bouncing with excitement, Tony was bouncing as well. Bruce seemed to be excited, as did Reggie, but both had contained their excitement far more than Jane, Tony, Trip, Leo, or Jemma, as the latter three were on the verge of bouncing as well. The Green and Black groups, minus Pepper but plus Roger, were in the front. The Blue group went next, Emma sitting next to Maria. The Red group went last, with Skye and Grant between Clint and Natasha and Darcy and Phil.

While Grant was bored on the ride, everyone else (from the oldest members of the family, AKA Melinda and Phil, to the youngest members, AKA Emma and Roger) was having a great time learning (for once!) and creating his or her own future. Skye noticed this throughout the day. In Project Tomorrow, he looked about as unhappy as the Science Bros.(Bruce and Tony) looked happy, which was as if they were in heaven. Grant's expression of disdain and depression was still much of the same by the time they walked outside.

"What's wrong with you?", she asked him, unable to keep quiet any longer.

"What are you talking about?", he replied.

"Grant, look, I know how you feel. No one trusts you, you've got a tracker that A) you can't remove, B) prevents you from accessing any web page or document not authorized by the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., and C) you have no idea what's going to happen to you once your usefulness ends. I was there right after the Miles incident, and I hated every minute of it. But, you don't have to ruin my vacation with your brooding and negative attitude.", Skye tried to be empathetic, but without snapping at him.

"I'm sorry, Skye, but my lack of a future only makes me more miserable when on a ride and standing in a room all about the future.", Grant did snap.

"I don't think the plan is to kill you once you give us all the information we need. The Director is a lot more humane than that. He'd rather let you try to earn his trust back.", Skye said, thinking about her father's tendency to go for justice rather than revenge.

"I don't recall Fury or Hill ever seeing things that way.", Grant said with a roll of his eyes.

"I never said either one of them was the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. However, I can't tell you who it is without permission, anyway.", she told him, and he smirked.

"Why, because you don't know?", he asked cockily.

"Oh, I know, believe me. But, the last time I told a secret I wasn't supposed to, which was actually last week, I had my phone taken away. I don't get it back until I get home, and even that is debatable.", Skye replied.

Grant looked skeptical, but he also looked terrified after Phil spoke up after standing behind them silently while Skye talked.

"She's right, mostly because if she tells you about the new director before we have you in a secure location, she'll never get her phone back.", Skye did not even flinch.

"He started it by being all depressed.", she said simply, and Phil nodded.

"I understand, and better than you think, but come on. We've managed to convince the science nerds to go to another science thing. We're going to Ellen's Energy Adventure.", he told the two, and they followed him to the rest of the family, which Grant still had not figured out.

The ride went by with Tony going absolutely berserk about energy sources and how the ride needed to be updated to include vibrainium, Jane babbling on about the universe (along with Thor, who was bringing up the Nine Realms again), the other scientists listening intently to Bill Nye the Science Guy, and the non-science obsessed members of the family listening to Ellen Degeneres to keep from falling asleep. When they exited the ride, Tony had a metaphorical light bulb go off over his head.

"I should write, call, or e-mail the Disney Park executives and ask them to update the ride, and I could host it!", he announced to his family, all of whom groaned.

"Tony, when you, and all of you scientists, start talking science, no one understands you. I love you, big brother, but I think the ride is fine in normal English.", Skye said, and the other non-scientists agreed.

"I could do it, but I'm not a celebrity.", Jane, Jemma, Leo, Bruce, and Reggie all said as one.

"Guys, no one in this family is going to be hosting that ride. Do you understand me?", Phil asked in a very fatherly tone.

"Yes, Sir.", the science geeks all said, each going slightly pink in the cheeks.

"Now that we've settled that, first group to Mission Space gets to decide where we go for dinner!", Darcy called as she grabbed her husband, stepson, step-daughter-in-law, step-daughter, and Grant before taking off to the aforementioned ride.

Tony looked at his godson and said, "We can't let Mom win, can we? Come on guys, let's go!"

And then, all of the other three teams took off as well. The winner was, after much ducking, dodging, and sprinting, the Black team.

"Okay, Roger, what do you want for dinner?", Tony asked the youngest member of the family.

"Pizza!", the boy cried out, and everyone decided his choice was okay, even if Tony would hold it over their heads that Italy beat out the other countries (this time).

"Pizza it is. So, who all plans on sitting this one out? Both kids are too small to go on, and we can't exactly leave them alone.", Skye said, and Natasha and Tony raised their hands.

"Okay, Tasha I understand, but Tony?", Jemma asked.

"I have issues with going into space, all the lights going out, and any possible spinning. I've had those issues since New York.", Tony said without going into too much detail.

Exception the children, all of them nodded in understanding. He was talking about him carrying a nuclear weapon into the Chitauri portal. Skye saw that Bruce did look a little disappointed that Tony was not going on the ride, so she got an idea.

"Hey, Tony, why don't you, Tasha, Bruce, and Reggie take the kids to the Advanced Training Lab? All of you can do all kinds of space and science stuff in there without having to worry about any of your issues with this ride.", she told them.

"That's a great idea! Thanks, little sister! You guys going on the ride or with me?", Tony asked the people Skye had named off.

"Lead the way, Tony.", Bruce said, and the two groups went in separate ways.

While waiting outside for the people who had gone on the ride, Tony pulled out his phone. Natasha looked over his shoulder skeptically.

"What are you doing?", she asked.

"I am many things, Nat, but stupid is very seldom one of those things. The wait time for Test Track is too long right now, so I'm setting up FastPasses for it. Later on tonight, before we leave, eighteen of us will be able to go on.", Tony explained.

"Which eighteen?", Natasha asked.

"That's my problem. I know I have to send our new charge with Skye, and I don't want to force her to not be able to go on. She's my little sister, and I want her to go on the ride with me, mostly because I know Pepper won't want to listen to me babble on, about how we should build the car, all by herself. I just don't know who I can leave off the ride that will watch the kids, but won't commit murder. Any suggestions?", he replied with a sigh.

"I might have one or two.", Phil said as the remaining members of the family rejoined those unable to ride Mission Space.

"The floor is yous.", Tony said with a dramatic gesture, and Phil gave a chuckle.

"I'll stay with the kids and Grant. I'm the one who needs the information from him, so I won't be killing him. Also, I need to spend time with Roger while I can.", Phil stated, and Tony nodded before going back to his phone, keying in the eighteen who would get to ride.

"Wait, I get to go on this one?", Natasha asked.

"Natasha, you came to Florida in a flying SUV, built by yours truly, I let you go with Steve to find an assassin when you were two-an-a-half to three months pregnant, and you get tossed around all the time at work anyway, so why wouldn't I let you go on a ride where we're basically crash test dummies?", Tony asked her while shaking his head.

Natasha said nothing, but hugged him briefly. Clint let out a laugh as he took Natasha's hand once she let go of Tony. They trusted each other a lot more nowadays.

"If Test Track is FastPassed for later, we should head across to one of the other attractions.", he said as Skye took her turn to hug Tony (only because her father told her why he was going to watch Grant that evening).

The Coulson-Barton-Stark-Rogers-Banner-Fitz-Simmons-Hil-May-Foster-Odinson family, and Grant Ward, decided to start at ImaginationWorks. Most of the family, once on Journey into the Imagination with Figment, loved the humorous purple dragon. The ones who did not, only disliked Figment because of the song he sang, about imagination, which was sure to get stuck in their heads.

After playing around in the Imagination Lab in ImaginationWorks, and deciding to forgo Captain EO, the family moved on to The Land. After Tony fastpassed Soarin', they went to Living with the Land. Once more, they found themselves learning. Steve was amazed at the methods that had been discovered for growing food; Tony was taking notes, and it was almost as if he planed to begin his own organic farm soon.

The group exited the ride and made it as far as the souvenir shop before Skye used all of her training to slip her hand into Steve's pocket and remove his phone. He only noticed when he heard the familiar beeping sound from behind him.

"Uh, guys, Mom's wager over our dinner location when we raced is pretty much obsolete. According to the schedule, J.A.R.V.I.S. made reservations for us for lunch and dinner.", she said, and Steve raised an eyebrow at her while he chuckled to himself.

"Skye, give me my phone back.", he told his "sister."

"What's the magic word, Steve?", she replied.

"Loki.", he called out, and the trickster caused the phone to leave Skye's hand and land gently in Steve's outstretched palm.

Skye pouted, and all of the others laughed at the sight. Well, almost all of the others laughed.

"Where are we gonna eat at, Sissy?", Roger asked rather cutely and confusedly.

"Well, we're going to have Chinese food for lunch at Nine Dragons, and J.A.R.V.I.S. says we're all having dinner at different places. You're going with Tony, Pepper, and their group for pizza. Is that okay, Bro?", Skye answered as she picked her baby brother up from where he stood beside their father.

"Okay! Can I use chopsticks at lunch this time?", the almost three year old asked his sister.

"We'll have to ask Mommy, but you probably can.", she replied, and Roger giggled.

The whole exchange was considered odd by Grant, but he said nothing. He had promised to hold all questions about what was going on until Phil said he could. Unfortunately, he knew what the older man was capable of, and it scared him. Phil had access to Grant's greatest fear: the ability to unleash the full vengeance of Melinda May.

Grant shook these thought from his head when the group moved towards Soarin'®. He was only half surprised that Thor was not going on the ride, but he really had expected Tony to join the group on the ride.

"You aren't going, Mr. Stark?", he asked politely.

"One, call me Tony. Two, no; I've flown over California enough times to know what it looks like, and I wanted to spend some time with Roger. Point Break is here because he's also flown over Cali a few times. It also helps that Emma trusts and loves him.", Tony replied as Thor picked Emma up and the girl giggled.

"She feels that she can trust me because I know how to handle children.", Tony looked at Thor suspiciously as he spoke.

"Really?", he asked the Asgardian.

"My brother had four children.", Thor said simply, not wanting to talk about the topic in public.

"He has kids?", Tony asked, gaping.

"It is his story to tell, and he will tell you when he is ready. Also, it would do you well to remember that I said he had children.", Thor stressed the past-tensed nature of his statement.

"I won't ask then, and nor will I pry. This seems to by something I would be better off not knowing. Anyway, Grant, what kept you and Skye earlier? We sent Phil to get you guys, but he didn't tell us why you two were taking your time joining us.", as Tony finished his question, Roger joined in the conversation.

"Yeah, where were you and my sissy?", he asked.

"His what?", Grant asked, or rather, snapped, looking from Tony to Thor, from Thor to Emma, and from Emma to Roger.

"Well, she's really my half-sissy. Pochemu on udivil?", even though Grant understood Roger's Russian, he was confused by the words coming from a toddler.

"So, are you saying what I think you're saying?", Grant asked the boy, who seemed to grow more scared as the former H.Y.D.R.A. operative spoke.

"Kak mne otvetit' na eto?", Tony and Thor looked at each other, unsure of how to answer the boy's question about how to answer Grant's question.

"What do you think my godson is saying?", Tony asked Grant, eying him suspiciously.

"I believe he said that Skye is his half-sister.", Grant said slowly.

"Well, he's telling the truth, and he tends to say things in Russian when he gets nervous, or scared, or hurt. It's a habit he picked up from his other big sister when she was teaching him Russian.", Tony said as he pulled Roger into his lap and rubbing small circles into his godson's back.

"It is the reason almost every member of this, rather dysfunctional, family had to learn Russian in the first place. Well, everyone but Clint, Tasha, and Phil had to learn for that reason.", Thor added, but Grant looked skeptical.

"Why can't I see Skye being patient enough to learn Russian?", he asked the two men.

"That is because you only see the side of her that she lets you see. She is a multifaceted young woman with more strength and courage than some of the bravest warriors I know.", Thor stated firmly, gently adjusting the Captain America hair bow atop Emma's head.

"You mean like Aunt Sif?", Emma asked while playing a game on Steve's STARKphone, or at least that was what Grant assumed she was doing.

"Yes, Emma, I am speaking of brave warriors like Lady Sif. What are you looking at on your father's phone?", the Asgardian prince asked the three year old.

"Aunt Jane told me a story, and I wanna find it.", the blonde girl answered.

"What was this story about? Was it about a princess?", Thor asked her.

"No, but I remember a fairy! The fairy was jealous of her friend, and she gave away his secret hiding spot to a pirate!", Emma said energetically.

"She told you Peter Pan.", Tony said to the girl, and Grant watched as she started tapping away on the phone.

"How do these two toddlers have such a good grasp of the English language?", Grant asked.

"They learned more English as they learned their other languages. Emma was speaking Italian just yesterday when a little boy told her she couldn't like superheroes because she happens to be a girl. Roger just finished with the basics of the Italian alphabet. If she hasn't, Emma should be beginning Spanish any day now.",Tony answered, not noticing the cheeky grin Emma was giving him.

"Tía Tasha empezó a enseñarme la semana pasada.", she replied.

"Sapientone!", Tony said to the girl, but he smiled nonetheless.

Emma giggled, and she was still giggling when the others walked up to the five. Steve looked at his daughter curiously, but scooped her up into his arms all the same. The blonde girl pouted as she handed the STARKphone back to her father, who merely kissed the top of her head as he looked over at his honorary brothers.

"What did you do to make her giggle so much?", he asked Tony and Thor.

"I called her a smart aleck after she started speaking in Spanish when I said, if she hadn't, she should be starting her Spanish lessons soon.", Tony said casually.

Steve nodded, and the group made their way to The Seas with Nemo and Friends on the opposite side of The Land. After going on the ride, viewing the marine life, and sitting through Turtle Talk with Crush, they made their way to the gift shop in the pavilion, where Tony spotted something that made him curious. It was a small package containing a button, stickers, and an EPCOT World Showcase passport. He called Phil, Steve, and Jane over as he counted how many were on the shelf.

"What do you guys think?", he asked them.

"I think it would be fun.", Jane said with a smile.

"If we do this, everyone has to wear his or her button for the rest of the day.", Steve added.

"Why don't we each buy the number needed for his/her own group?", Phil said finally, and Tony almost cried out with glee.

"I'll need six, Jane will need four, Steve's going to need five, and you'll need seven.", Tony told Phil excitedly.

And so, they proceeded to buy the twenty-two World Showcase passports. While some of the family raised eyebrows at the passports, others were as cheerful as Tony was. They took time to fill out the personal information page in the front of their books after sitting down in The Electric Umbrella. Skye, who had gone to buy a bottle of water, stopped briefly to peer over Melinda's shoulder as the older woman worked on her personal information page.

"Qiaolian, that's your middle name? It certainly fits you, Aunt Melinda, and it's really pretty.", she said with a smile, causing the older woman to actually jump a bit.

"Thank you, Skye. It appears your training is going well. Not many people could sneak up on me like that.", Melinda replied as she capped the pen she held, which looked eerily like a chopstick.

"Are both of those pens?", Skye asked.

"No, the other one is a knife; but they do function as actual chopsticks as well as a hair accessory.", she replied quietly.

"I think all of the women in this family need to invest in those. Did you buy them, or are they custom made?", Skye asked.

"These are custom, but I might consider letting Tony look at them and try to replicate them.", Melinda said, and Skye smiled at her before walking back over to Grant.

Grant, who had paled when he saw Skye smile at Melinda, began to regain color in his cheeks as he spoke to his, for lack of a better word, babysitter.

"Did you call her 'Aunt Melinda'?", he asked.

"Yeah. She asked me to call her that last week before we left New York. Oh, Aunt Maria says it's time to go. Yeah, I've been calling her that since last Thanksgiving.", she replied as Maria waved them over to where the rest of the family had gathered.

Grant followed her without question, as Phil was staring at them. The group quickly started off for the Mexico pavilion. They approached the Kidcot stop as one large group, and the cast members let out audible gasps at the number of people before them. Then came a second round of gasps as they realized who was in the group before them.

As the family made its way towards Grand Fiesta Tour, Starring: the Three Caballeros, the ride in the Mexico pavilion, something caught Tony's eye. He wandered off, and no one noticed he was missing until they got in line for the ride. Of course, Phil noticed first, and before anyone could call out his name, Tony came sprinting up behind them, clutching a shopping back in his right hand.

"What did you buy now?", Skye asked teasingly.

"I bought a little souvenir for myself, one that I'll actually use. I bought a cook book.", Tony replied, and Clint rolled his eyes.

"I thought we had a rule about you learning how to cook things?", he asked.

"Tony can cook whatever he wishes, as long as it is within reason, if he is supervised by a responsible adult.", Darcy clarified, and her stepson just held up his hands in surrender.

"Fine, he can cook what he wants. But I'd rather the baking stay with either me or Tasha."

"So would the rest of us, Clint!", Jane called back with a laugh as the group made it through the line and were separated into two groups on two different boats.

After the ride, the group looked around the pavilion a bit more before moving on to Norway. They decided to go on the ride, Maelstrom, first. Jane began to get tense as the ride mentioned elves. She leaned in closer to Thor, who tried to comfort her while Loki gave her hand a gentle squeeze. No one else in the family had been there, no one else saw what Malekeith did, and no one else could possibly feel the pain the Dark Elves had inflicted upon the two Asgardians and the astrophysicist. Perhaps it was best that way, however, because none of the three would want anyone else suffering from the nightmares or the loss they had all felt.

Nearly as soon as the ride was over, the members of the family who had been on Asgard before wanted to leave as quickly as their feet would carry them. Unfortunately, the other family members wanted to look through the shop first. Things became a bit better, a bit less tense, when Emma and Roger both walked over to Thor, both of them holding action figures. One was Thor, and the other was Loki, who looked around Thor at the figures the two children held. But before either man could say anything, Emma had placed the figure she held (Thor) back on the shelf and raced across the store to a rack of children's costumes.

Steve followed her, as did the others once Roger followed Steve. Emma was standing in front of the shelf of dresses, starring at the icy blue dress on the right hand side. Steve smiled before picking up a dress in Emma's size.

"Do you want this one, Emma-bee?", he asked her, and Emma nodded furiously.

"I want Elsa's dress. Please, Daddy?", she asked him as sweetly as she could.

"But I thought Cinderella was your favorite Disney Princess?", Steve asked her.

"Elsa is a Queen, Daddy. Remember?", Emma replied and Steve chuckled.

"I remember. Let's go pay for this.", and the two walked over to the register.

That was where they saw Tony paying for something.

Outside of the shop, Tony handed Loki the bag he had been holding. Loki looked mildly humored when he pulled a toy Sven the Reindeer out of the bag.

"Funny, real funny.", was all he said, but he kept the plushy nonetheless.

Next, they moved on to China. They still had some time before lunch, so the family went into Reflections of China. From there, they went into The House of the Whispering Willows to look at the scale model of the Terracotta Warriors. After touring the museum, it was time for the group to go to lunch.

Lunch was a surprisingly peaceful affair. No threats were made, no injuries were caused, and no lives were endangered. By the time the last grain of rice had been eaten, the last drop of tea had been sipped, it was clear that the family's time in the China pavilion was nearly over. They stayed to watch the Chinese acrobats, but then the group quickly made its way to the Germany pavilion.

After touring the shops and admiring the architecture, Steve commented on the pavilion.

"This is the first time that, technically, I've been to Germany without the purpose being fighting. Maybe I can go to the real Germany sometime without having to punch someone in the face.", he joked.

"Not if I were to go with you.", Tony told him, and most of the family began laughing.

"And be flattened into a pancake because I hurt Hulk's Tin Man? No thanks, Tony, and no offense, Bruce.", Steve replied half-jokingly.

"None taken, as it's probably true. The other guy doesn't like it when his best friend gets hurt, and nor do I, but I think I'd wind up hitting Tony in the head if I went to Germany with him, too.", Bruce replied, and the laughter continued at Tony's expense.

Almost as soon as they had their passports signed, the family moved on to the next country: Italy.

The first thing they did there was take several pictures. While most of the family browsed through Il Bel Cristalla, Tony was in a corner on the phone. His cell phone had gone off as he had gone to enter the store, and once he saw the caller ID, he knew he had to answer it.

"Please tell me you only need an advance in your allowance.", he said into the phone.

"Dad, please, I rarely actually spend my money. Mac and I were wondering when you'd be back from your vacation, because Mother is barely around, and we just want something to do this summer.", the caller replied with a laugh.

"It's the last week of May, and I'll be back in New York in three days. How scarce is she?", Tony asked.

"Mother has been home maybe three times in the last two weeks. She keeps taking on more hours at the diner, hoping she'll finally be making enough money to provide for the three of us without your, as she put it when she took away my key to the shed, charity.", the caller replied.

"A) this is not charity. B) I can get you science stuff without using the shed. I'll see what I can do about coming to your rescue. When and if you do wind up at the Tower, I should warn you that we have several pregnant women living there at the moment.", Tony replied, not able to keep the smile off his face as he spoke.

"Oh no, it's the Avengers, 2.0!", Tony let out a laugh when he heard this, though he tried to be parental for a moment once he calmed down.

"Don't let your mom hear you say that, Harley, or she might just have a panic attack. The same goes for any aunt or your grandfather.", he said, and the fifteen year old laughed on the other end of the call.

"I won't. So, what should I tell Mac?", Harley asked.

"Tell Mackenzie I'll try to disrupt the boredom.", Tony replied.

"Will do. Talk to you later, Dad.", Harley said back.

"Talk to you later.", and then Tony hung up.

When he got back to the group, Pepper pulled Tony aside. He sighed, and pulled out his phone, showing her his call log.

"Are the kids okay?", she asked.

"Harley and Mac want a rescue. Apparently, their mother is determined to make me stop giving Harley 'charity' or something like that.", he replied.

"Charity? You love those two kids as if they're your own. They call you 'Dad' or 'Daddy', and they call you when they need help. I wonder what their... egg donor even knows what love is!", Pepper snapped quietly.

"And that is why they call you 'Mom.' We'll take care of them, Pep, don't worry.", and with that, the two went back to their family.

The next pavilion was The American Adventure. In addition to the shop, there were a few carts out, each one selling toys or pins. It was one of these carts to which Emma ran when she saw what was sitting on the aforementioned cart. Steve tried to snake his way through the crowd to where he found his daughter staring up at a very familiar, but kid-sized, circular object.

"Would you like to look at the Minnie Mouse dolls on the other side of the cart, Princess?", the Cast Member running the cart asked Emma.

"No, but thank you. Daddy, can I have a shield? Roger has one, and he's not even your child!", Steve was not even sure she was certain he was behind her when she said this, but he let out a laugh anyway.

"Do you want one of these, or do you want Uncle Tony to make you a special one for your birthday? I'm sure he wouldn't say no if you asked him nicely and politely.", he asked his daughter.

"Can he make it out of the stuff yours is made of, Vib-er-anie-um?", Emma asked.

"I'll see if he can make you a shield out of Viberanium, Emma-bee.", he said with a smile, and the Cast Member felt the need to speak up again.

"So you're sure you don't want to look at the toys on the other side? Those toys are for pretty little girls like you, Princess!", she said energetically.

"Just because something has a superhero on it doesn't make it for boys only.", Emma said pointedly, and the Cast Member looked taken aback.

"But don't you like Minnie and the Disney Princesses?", she asked the small child.

"I like them, Ma'am, but I love superheroes, especially the Captain.", Emma replied, smiling up at Steve instead of at the Cast Member.

"And why is that?", the Cast Member asked, intrigued by the girl.

"Captain Rogers is my father, Ma'am. You took me to the museum to see the stuff about you and Miss Peggy, remember, Daddy?", Emma answered sweetly, and the Cast Member finally looked at Steve.

"I remember, Emma-bee. We should go back to the family now. Your mommy was so worried when you ran off, and so was your Uncle Tony. But no one was as worried as Aunt Tasha, but that might just be because she doesn't believe anything can be done until it's already over.", Steve said to his daughter.

"Yes, Sir. Bye, Ma'am!", she waved to the Cast Member, who just waved back slowly, slightly dazed as the large family regrouped and moved on to the Japaneses pavilion.

The time the family spent in Japan was short. They toured the museum, went through the shops, bought a few souvenirs, and moved on to Morocco. The group entered the Gallery of Arts and History quietly, though most of them did it because they were either afraid of Pepper or wanted air conditioning. No one else seemed to be in the gallery, so they basically took up the entire space. When they left, Emma let out a loud squeal.

"Oh no!", Roger added to Emma's squeal.

"What is it?", Skye asked as she grabbed onto her brother instinctively.

"It's Princess Jasmine!", Emma chirped happily as she saw the aforementioned princess.

Skye chuckled and turned to Steve, who nodded in reply to her silent question. So Skye took the hand of her pseudo-niece, and the two females made their way over to the line to see Princess Jasmine. Grant came up beside Roger and began talking to the boy.

"Girls, right? I understand the annoyance they can cause. I have a sister, or at least I had a sister. I haven't seen her in years!"

"Was she nice to you? Skye and Tasha are nice to me.", Roger replied, and Grant took a moment to think about how he would phrase his answer.

"I'd say she wasn't really nice to me, but only because I was weak and angry. I used to be a bully to my little brother because my older brother told me to. Now, I know that what I did, a lot of what I've done actually, is wrong. I realized that I was a bad person, but I can change.", Grant told him, and Roger nodded.

"You want to be a good person now. Tasha said she was a bad person in Russia, but Clint said she is a good person now. Do you want to be like Tasha?", the toddler asked.

"I guess. I mean, there's a lot I don't know right now; this is stuff that I need to know before I can become a completely good person. Am I really having this conversation with you?", Grant asked the almost three year old in confusion.

"Yes, you are. Maybe you could talk to my daddy about it later? He knows lots of stuff.", Roger replied with a small nod of his head.

"Maybe.", Grant echoed as Skye and Emma hurried back over.

Skye threw Grant a curious look, and he shrugged before gesturing towards Roger.

"Okay, Baby Bro, what did we tell you about giving away the secrets to the universe?", she joked.

"I'm not supposed do that without, what was that word?", Roger replied, forgetting the last word.

"Supervision, and no, Tony doesn't count as supervision because he's a superhero. He's almost as much of a kid as you are.", Skye said, and Emma giggled at the brother-sister duo as she made her way back over to Steve and Caroline.

Almost as soon as Emma was in her father's arms, the family moved on to France. They stopped for ice cream, something Phil had refused to let happen in Italy, but had no choice in once they arrived in France. Grant observed his surroundings as he snacked on his strawberry sorbet. Phil was sitting with Darcy and Roger, the latter on Phil's lap. The three were eating out of one large-sized cup of cherry flavored ice cream. He sighed slightly as he watched Darcy wiped ice cream off of her son's face, and as Phil leaned in and placed a kiss atop his youngest son's head. He was so distracted, he did not even notice Skye sit down beside him.

"This would be a whole lot less creepy if you were starring at anyone other than my parents and little brother.", she said, making him jump and nearly knock over her cup of mango sorbet.

"I still don't get how you all are related.", he stated simply, avoiding Skye's unasked question.

"Tell me what's wrong, and I might be able to tell you something, albeit a small piece of the puzzle, but something.", she asked more clearly.

"I'm jealous of your brother, okay? He has loving parents who love each other. I didn't have that. My older brother was the golden child, my sister was the only girl, and my younger brother was the baby. Because of that, I was always blamed for whatever my older brother did. My sister wound up hating me for it, and my little brother's inability to explain things properly landed me in military school, which was when I tried to torch my parents house while only my older brother was home. That was when Garrett found me, and that was when I joined both agencies. I can't help but think, what if it was their fault I became this?", he said, and Skye just pushed his sorbet closer to him.

"Grant, have you ever taken the time to read Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix?", she asked softly, yet with a sly smile.

"I didn't even read the first four or last two, let alone the fifth one.", he answered honestly.

"Well, in the fifth book, Sirius Black says, 'We've all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That's who we really are.' Your parents may have acted on the lighter part of the dark side, and your older brother was completely dark, but that doesn't mean you have to be.", Skye explained.

"Thanks, Skye, but I'm still having trouble understanding how you were a lot clearer than your little brother, who happens to be very good at psychoanalysis.", Grant replied, and Skye giggled.

"Good, because we're going to need a good therapist in the family one day.", she told him, and they both laughed, real laughs, too, and things almost felt normal.

After ice cream and a couple of meet-and-greets with Belle and Aurora, the family made its way into the United Kingdom. Almost at once, Pepper squealed as Emma had for Jasmine. Jane, Darcy, Maria, Jemma, and Caroline all copied her reaction when they saw who was mere feet in front of them.

"It's Mary Poppins!", Pepper said with a slight bounce.

"She's got to be your organizational idol, Pep.", Tony added, and his wife just nodded and laughed.

"Let's go get a picture with her!", Darcy said, and the women who squealed did just that.

While the most of the women had skipped off, the remaining members of the family went into the store. That was where they had their passports signed, and when the Poppins-obsessed rejoined them, they got in line to meet Pooh-Bear and Piglet. More specifically, Phil, Darcy, Roger, Steve, Caroline, Emma, Clint, Natasha, and Skye got in line to see the two characters. Jemma and Leo joined them after a brief argument of who would stand by which character.

The other family members went about browsing the store. Tony took a brief interest in The Beetles merchandise, but he, too, found himself in the line to meet the tubby, little chubby all stuffed with fluff. Grant felt someone pull him by his wrist, and he went soaring into the line beside Skye. He saw her laughing uncontrollably when he came to a stop beside her.

"What was that for?", he asked, raising his eyebrow.

"Step One of my 'Twelve Steps to Become a Good Person' program: Try to have fun amongst other human/Æsir beings. Thor, Jane, Bruce, Reggie, Trip, and Aunt Maria, and Aunt Melinda are watching Loki take part in a King Arthur thing outside, so the Æsir and those likely to hurt you are out of the question at the moment. Just relax and live in the moment. I'm trying yo help you, so listen to me, please?", she answered his question with her own, and he relented.

"Fine.", was all he told her, but she noticed the small smirk playing at his lips.

Soon enough, they reached the front of the line, and after several pictures, the family moved on to the last pavilion: Canada. They spent less time there than they did in the other pavilions, none of them interested in anymore shopping that was not science related. They simply went through O' Canada!, and they then moved on to get their passports signed before checking to see who was eating where.

"Okay, someone read off where we're going to be eating at.", Skye said as the family came to a stop at the boarder between Future World and the World Showcase.

"Huh? J.A.R.V.I.S. only assigned us pavilions, not restaurants. I guess he thought we might want to send certain people with another adult.", Pepper replied, gesturing her head to Roger and Emma.

"Okay then, tell us our assigned countries.", Clint countered, and Pepper nodded.

"This sounds a little weird, but Tony let an AI do this. In the United Kingdom, we have Steve, Caroline, Emma, Trip, Melinda, and Maria. In Italy, we have Tony, me, Phil, Darcy, and Roger. Over in The Land, its Bruce, Reggie, Thor, Loki, Jane, Jemma, and Leo. Clint, Tasha, Skye, and Grant are in The Seas. Yes, Grant, you are on the list. Who brought his or her link with him or her? One of you had to tell J.A.R.V.I.S. about Grant being with us for the remainder of the trip.", Pepper demanded her answer quietly and softly.

"I did it!", Phil admitted.

"Oh, okay then. I guess this is where we part ways until Test Track. See you guys later!", Pepper replied as the family split to go their separate ways.

Dinner went different with each group. Steve, Caroline, Emma, Trip, Maria, and Melinda had a pleasant and quiet dinner. Phil, Darcy, Tony, Pepper, and Roger had an evening filled with laughter. Thor, Jane, Loki, Reggie, Bruce, Jemma, and Leo had a delightful dinner filled with stimulating conversations about science, the nine realms, and magic. As for the last group, dinner was one word: TENSE.

From the moment the four were seated, Natasha seemed to be glaring at Grant every time she looked at him. Skye was silently cursing J.A.R.V.I.S. Clint was busy trying not to laugh at the reaction his wife's glare was getting out of the former S.H.I.E.L.D. specialist. Finally, the glaring had to be brought to a stop.

"Tasha, stop glaring at the guy. He could be very useful to us, and Dad said no to hurt him.", he told the redhead softly.

"Fine.", she muttered, and the glaring ceased.

"Good girl.", he joked back, and she just lightly slapped his thigh under the table.

"Is it possible for you two to stop flirting for five minutes?", Skye asked them once Natasha's hand was above the table again.

"We weren't flirting!", Natasha insisted, giggling the whole time.

"True, because you usually flirt in Russian. Even then, I'd still know and call you out on it. So, what sounds good for dinner?", Skye responded to her sister-in-law's giggles.

"I'm planning on getting the salmon. Honey?", Natasha stated before turning to Clint.

"I'm going to get the Rainbow Trout. Sis?", Clint said before turning to Skye.

"I think I'm going to agree with Nat on this one. That salmon sounds good to me, too. Grant?", Skye said before turning to her former SO, turn charge.

"I think I'll have the Mahi Mahi.", Grant said politely, noticing their server just behind Clint.

"Will that be all for you this evening?", she asked, probably expecting the four to jump, but they did very little to show they were even aware she had spoken until Clint spoke up himself.

"No, that should be everything. Thank you.", he said, giving her a quick glance before she made the necessary notes on her order pad before quickly walking off.

"Should we be worried she didn't ask us about side orders, or should we be glad we didn't need to say anything about exchanging out one side for another?", Skye whispered to her brother.

"Nah. If Nat suddenly freaks out and refuses to eat, then we should worry.", Clint said simply, and that was the end of that discussion.

After dinner, as they walked over to Test Track, the tension was back. Grant, finally, was tired of it and turned to look at the glaring Natasha.

"What have I done to you to make you detest me the way you do?", he asked her honestly.

"You didn't do anything to me. You hurt my sister-in-law. You drew her in, like the spider to the fly, and you crushed her. You took her heart, ripped it in two, and tossed it into a blender before pressing purée. She might be my husband's sister, but she's the closest thing I'll ever have to a sister. I just want to be sure you won't ever come close to hurting her again.", Natasha answered in her deathly quiet way.

"You really think I wanted to do that? Skye told me that you two, of all people, would understand what I've been through; don't you get it? I never had a choice in what happened. It was either do as Garrett said, with a few times I was allowed to wing it, or die.", Grant said back, just as quiet.

Before another word could be said, they had reached the ride, and Phil was separating the spider and the specialist. He seemed agitated with them, but he was quiet. Natasha looked at him, but he just tilted his head towards the rest of the family, who were all standing over by the ride entrance. The only two not over there were the kids, who were on a bench behind Phil.

"Just go, Nat. Go have fun, and I'll handle him.", Phil said slowly, and Natasha hurried off, not wanting him to change his mind.

"How will I be punished?", Grant asked the older man.

"You won't be punished for that. Nat just needs time to cool down. Anyway, come sit down, Grant. It's time I told you what you need to know.", Phil told him.

Grant took a seat on the bench beside Phil and the toddlers. The two children were on the verge of falling asleep on either side of Phil; secretly, Grant found it a small bit adorable. He quickly, however, forgot about that when Phil began speaking to him.

"What has Skye told you so far?", he asked Grant.

"You are her father, Darcy is her step-mother, and Roger is her little sister. She also informed me that she has pseudo-aunts in Maria Hill and Melinda May. From what I can infer, based on what the others have said to me, Tony sees her as his little sister, and she is the closest thing Natasha has to a sister. Skye also told me that Barton is her favorite assassin.", Grant said, and Phil just nodded.

"He is, but that's because he happens to be her older brother. I mean that literally. I adopted Clint when he was sixteen years old, and Natasha is his wife. Darcy is my wife; Roger is my youngest child. The other Avengers are a surrogate family in addition to that. I play the role of 'Father' to all of them on some level, and Darcy plays the role of 'Mother' on that same exact level. Maria, Melinda, and Nick are like siblings to me. I've known Nicolas Fury since my early twenties, and he is my best friend. We're a messed up bunch, but we're a family. Most importantly, we're a family that takes care of its own. Everything else that I have yet to tell you can wait until we return to the tower.", Phil said, and Grant nodded, letting the information process into his brain.

By the time they finished their discussion, the others had returned, and the kids were asleep. Steve picked Emma up in one swift movement, and Clint offered to hold Roger. Deciding to forgo the fireworks, the family made its way back to the front of the park and through the exit. They all knew what the next day was going to be. It was time for them to face The Magic Kingdom.

A/N: So, their trip is going to be over soon. How can anything possibly go wrong now? Even though I am the one writing this, it should be interesting. I hope you enjoyed it, and I hope you stay tuned in for more! R&R! P.S., I do not own Disney World. Believe me, I would not be writing if I did; I would probably be on Space Mountain if I did.
