Oh my God guys. I have not written anything in over a year. That is actually insane and I am so sorry. I have forgotten how much I love writing fanfiction until I went back and read my Phantom stories. Then I remembered this had yet to be finished, so here I am, FINALLY continuing this story. I hope you enjoy this story and thank you, for your views. Thank you to those who have stuck with me.

Chapter 8
Move
The Death Note kept flowing down the river and nobody stopped it. Leiko nor Lawliet. They just listened to the sound of the river flowing taking the notebook, and all Leiko's memories with it.
Ryuk followed the Death Note and he knew Leiko was done. Leiko had no intention of getting the book back. She killed her father. She killed Kira. Light Yagami. And that was all the satisfaction she needed from the notebook. Her father who knew exactly what she was feeling and going through, just betrayed her like that. She looked up to her father, even before she knew he was Kira. Then when she found out he was Kira, her mind flooded with all the work they could do together. They could have accomplished so much. They could have made the world such a better place one new grave at a time. But… He betrayed her. He betrayed her like everyone else in that cruel world had. That's why he deserved to die, yes, that was it.
But now… Leiko's memory of the Death Note was gone. She abandoned it. She let it go. Ryuk laughed one last time before pushing the book faster down the river, and pushing each and every memory out of Leiko Yagami's head.
She lifted her head and blinked. She had no idea where she was. But she saw her father, laying, in her other father's arms.
"D-Dad…? Wh-What's going on?" She said softly, confused, as she kneeled down next to Lawliet, who was crying softly.
Lawliet just looked at Leiko with her sunken in eyes and he sniffed. "You killed him. He is dead," he spoke.
Leiko furrowed her brow. "I...I don't know what you're talking about." Her voice was soft. The words that her father had just said were shocking. KIlled him? Yes. Leiko killed him, and she had no idea.
"You heard me." Lawliet sat up. "You have killed my husband and your own father. Now I'm sure you don't understand why I'm making any of these accusations, but what I'm saying is quite true."
Leiko looked at her father's dead body and shook her head. She didn't believe it. She could barely speak.
"I want you out of my house," Lawliet spoke as he stood up, making Light's dead body fall to the moist grass.
Leiko gasped softly. "But where am I gonna -?"
"I don't know and I don't care. I will not have a murderer in my house. I know you don't even know you're a murderer, meaning I will not convict you, but you will not step foot in my house."
Leiko couldn't even speak. She had no clue what was going on. Too much information was being thrown at her way too fast. A Murderer? "Just know this, Kira," the name was unfamiliar to Leiko as Lawliet spoke. She didn't know why her father was calling her that. "If you even touch the Death Note again, you will regain all memory of you murdering the hundreds of people that you did. If you do, I will arrest you." He sighs softly and looks back down at Light's body.
Leiko looked at both of her father's. Death Note. A note of death? What even was that? This doesn't make any sense. But what did make sense to Leiko was that she did something and she lost everything.
She wasn't the only one.
As the Death Note traveled farther and farther, it would soon take away everything from someone else once again. But this time, she was ready for it.
