AnimeWriterTycoonGirl: Hello there everyone! I am so excited for today's chapter. One: Senna finally arrives to spend some quality time with the monks! Two: I'm getting all sorts of creative ideas for the upcoming sequel, Raimundo's Xiao Lin Secret (RXLS), because of it. Three: I GET TO THANK THE LOVELY AND WONDERFUL MEW-MEW 124 FOR DESIGNING A WONDERFUL RENDITION OF SENNA! It is absolutely beautiful dear! Thank you so, so much for putting in the time and effort in order to create such a lovely thing!

However, there is a sour note in spite of my happiness. Recall in my last chapter that I had warned an anonymous Guest reviewer that their reviews of demanding more chapters was not appreciated and would not be tolerated. Those reviews have been deleted. That person ignored my warning. Therefore, I have no choice but to oversee Guest reviews before accepting them for a while. Do not be discouraged if you are one of those people who leave honest reviews but do not have an account; it will not last the entirety of the story. Just long enough until I believe the person doing so will get the hint and be more respectful of what the authoress is asking. I will let you know when the Guest block has been let up. I'm sorry, but I meant what I said, and I will not tolerate such rudeness.

Onwards with the story, we left with the monks scrambling to finish cleaning up the temple. At this point, Kimiko is heading down the tunnel towards the meeting place. I wanted to clear that up so no one would be confused. This is going to be a much, MUCH longer chapter than other ones; I wanted to keep all of Senna's stay in this chapter alone.

Chapter Warnings: Briefly DirtyRai! Fluff, Silliness, Slight History/Religion Lesson (May or may not be 100 percent accurate) and Slight Swearing.

Enjoy the chapter everyone!

Kimiko shivered as she walked down the hand dug tunnel, though not from feeling cold. Walking the secret entrance alone was not a great experience, and it wasn't exactly a beautiful sight either. It was nothing more than a dark old cavernous tunnel (at least high enough to easily carry a full sized Dojo if needed) without any lanterns to light or beautiful natural stones growing on the walls. Perhaps she had just read too many romantic novels to even assume this tunnel would have any of those things.

Still, it was hard not to be excited, as she was looking forward to spending time with Senna again. She had been so sweet and nice in the Silver Manta Ray, so Kimiko was eager to learn even more about the immortal girl. The boys swore up and down that they wouldn't make the girl uncomfortable by trying to show off, and were currently putting up the sacred talismans that would protect their temple for the duration of Senna's stay. In fact, they would last until the ink wore off (likely from age or rain). Kimiko was glad she didn't have to put up the wards; for some reason she could not fathom, the wards made her skin tingle when she touched them. It wasn't unpleasant, yet she couldn't say it was comfortable either.

The Japanese woman was brought out of her thought as she realized she was nearing earth carved stairs, indicating she had reached the end of the tunnel. Quickly she glanced at her phone, sighing in relief when the glowing numbers revealed it was five minutes to three. She was a little early, which was good. The female monk carefully exited the tunnel and sat on the rocks hiding the entrance calmly anticipating their arrival. She didn't want Chase to think she wasn't punctual.

Her face warmed slightly at the reminder of the Heylin overlord. Sometimes, and she used to hate to admit it, she could not help herself but admire the elder immortal sibling. She had felt this way ever since her first encounter with the man, though she used to viciously shove those feelings into a deep dark place in her mind, his wickedness forcing her to be wary. Yet now after so many encounters with the man alone, she couldn't help but again admire him. No, she could never forgive him for tricking Omi into joining the Heylin and trying to take over the world, but she understood his passion to be the best and how precious Senna was to him. She would do anything for her family, and she expected no less from the immortal dragonlord. Not to mention, it didn't hurt that he was exceptionally handsome.

She shook her head furiously and willed away the warmth from her cheeks. Now was definitely not the time to be thinking about stupid and completely inappropriate one sided crushes. Luckily, the woman was spared from having to look for another topic to think about when a crackle of energy sounded from the left of her. She squealed when she saw the two immortal Youngs, one significantly happier than the other.

Without hesitation the two women shrieked happily and ran towards each other, hugging the other girl tightly. Chase refrained from flinching at the onslaught to his sensitive ears and let the two have their moment, taking the time to survey the area around them to assure they were not followed. The women pulled away with broad grins on their faces. Senna looked particular cute today, wearing her hair half up in a braided crown style, the remaining hair flowing freely over her back and shoulders. She wore a satin turquoise cheongsam mini dress with pure black leggings, perfectly accessorized by gold flats and her water gauge bracelet, which was disguised in a chunky Snap-On that matched her dress color. The girls giggled at one another.

"Oh Kimiko, I am very much excited to spend time with you and the other monks! Ne, where are they?" Senna asked, looking over Kimiko's shoulder to see if she would see a blonde, a brunette, and a bald yellow skinned child. Kimiko smiled softly.

"They're back at the Temple. Well…..most of them anyways; Clay had to go home for a few days so it's just going to be you, me, Raimundo, and Omi." She admitted. Senna pouted slightly yet did not complain; it was enough that she was able to spend time with her new friends. Of course there would be more times in the future so she could wait. "Is…is that your things?" Kimiko asked in surprise at the relatively large travel trunk. She supposed it was unlikely that the warlord would give his sister a string backpack, yet she wasn't expecting such a large trunk either. Chase nodded, yet did nothing to offer the chest to her. It wasn't heavy to him, yet he doubted the Dragon of Fire would be able to wield it with ease. The monk shrugged. "Alright then, I guess it's a good thing I brought these with me." She announced, pulling out the Changing Chopsticks.

Chase would not admit that he was impressed with Kimiko's future thinking skills, not in expression anyway. In response he gently dropped the chest to the ground in front of the Dragon of Fire. Senna looked at the seemingly normal chopsticks in confusion. "Are those….chopsticks?" she asked slowly, confusion more than obvious on her face.

Kimiko grinned again. "Yup, but they're more than just ordinary chopsticks. Watch this: Changing Chopsticks!" she declared to activate the Wu and softly tapped the top of the chest, causing it to shrink to the size of a thimble. Senna's eyes widened the size of dinner plates in surprise and amazement, and she crouched down to pick up the now tiny chest. "Pretty handy tool to have isn't it? Once we get back to the temple I'll return it to full size." Kimiko explained.

Senna's eyes glowed with understanding. "I see, this must be like that magical ball that Omi used on my bracelet when the water gauge was very low!" she announced, much to the other two's surprise. Kimiko locked eyes with Chase, the two of them acknowledging that this was an abnormal memory relapse for Senna. "Can those chopsticks shrink and grow anything?" she asked, still in wonder at the display of magic. Sure, she knew her brother wielded the art, but she had never seen objects as the source of magical display.

Kimiko's grin returned. "Yup, it can change the size of practically anything. Heck, I could shrink you or Chase if I wanted to." She teased, purposely looking for Chase's reaction. Perhaps it was risky to threaten to shrink an evil immortal or his precious younger sister, but she doubted Chase would try anything in front of said sister.

Chase was not amused, as she expected, drawing up a scowl and crossing his arms menacingly. "You are free to try, yet I would not expect to see yourself come out unscathed if I were you." He warned the monk, the tone of his voice just light enough for his sister's behalf, who had giggled at the display. "Regardless of tactless jokes," he began flatly, flashing the Japanese woman a yellow tinged glare. "I shall take my leave now. The two of you will return to this spot two days from now at the same allotted time. Understood?" The overlord asked, his voice turning gentle as he looked to his sister. "Behave yourself, Mèimei." He ordered softly, a gentle smile gracing his lips.

Kimiko blushed as she recognized the intimate moment between siblings and turned her head as Senna quickly embraced her brother. "I will, Dàgē. I shall see you Thursday!" the younger girl beamed. Kimiko looked back at the elder immortal to bow her head low enough to be respectful, but kept her eyes on his person (kind elder brother he might be, yet evil Heylin warlord he remained). With a quick smirk the man teleported back to his palace.

Kimiko sighed. "Here Senna, I'll take your trunk. It might be small now, but I fear you might lose it in the tunnel if you aren't too careful." She warned. Obediently the golden eyed girl handed the blue eyed one her magically shrunk possessions. Kimiko smiled softly. "Come on, the entrance is right under these rocks." She cautioned, pressing her foot onto the secret hidden latch that would force the large boulder out of the way of the stairs.

Senna gasped as the two of them were submerged in darkness once Kimiko closed the opening. "It is rather spacious here. Why do you think there needs to be an entrance and exit from the Temple to this river?" she wondered out loud as Kimiko gently pulled her through. Kimiko set up her element in order to see better in the dark and Senna chuckled. "Funny, my brother knows how to do that as well." She remarked.

Kimiko raised an eyebrow; something told her she would have to write that down for Chase later. "I'm not sure why it leads all the way down here. Maybe it was build a long time ago when invaders were common. The temple is pretty old." She admitted before looking at the girl behind her. "Chase can wield fire? When did he do that?" she asked casually, not trying to sound too nosy.

Senna shrugged. "I am not quite sure. I just know that he can. But then again, he is very talented in many fields of magic, so I should not have been so surprised. How long did it take for you to master the magic of fire?" the immortal asked politely.

Kimiko grinned sheepishly. "Actually, I don't really wield magic except when I'm using the Shen Gong Wu. Fire is my elemental power, so it's the element I control, and not the magical one. It would be pretty interesting to know how to use magic on my own without Shen Gong Wu." She admitted.

Senna hummed in agreement. "Dàgē explained to me that not everyone can wield magic, but those who are exposed to it often are at a strong advantage and their chances to learn to use magic increases expo….expo….." here she pursed her lips, seeming lost as to what word she was looking for.

Kimiko, used to Omi's terrible slang and butchering of idioms, understood what she was looking for right away. "You're looking for the word, 'exponentially', aren't you? Don't worry; that's a pretty challenging word. I probably wouldn't be able to spell it if you asked me to." She joked, not wanting Senna to feel bad.

Senna sighed softly. "I suppose, but I yearn for the day I can recall words with ease, let alone spell them. I curse my weak memory, for I believe it is what holds me back from finding out my own magical skills." She huffed, her fingers unknowingly tightening around Kimiko's.

The Japanese woman smiled sadly at the immortal. "It's okay though; your brother clearly loves you even if you are not able to tap into your magic. Who knows? Maybe you'll be able to obtain it all on your own." She offered. Senna could only hope so; she could only imagine the look of her elder brother's face if she discovered her magical talents on her own. "Okay, we're nearing the stairs that lead to the courtyard. You excited?" Kimiko asked.

Senna nodded her head vigorously and let out a squeal of excitement. "Definitely so, we must hurry to greet the male monks!" she declared, pulling Kimiko behind her as she raced forward….literally. Kimiko had to run with all her might lest her arm accidentally be torn off by Senna's surprisingly high strength and speed. But then again, she was an immortal, so perhaps enhanced strength and speed came with never-ending life. Yet Kimiko wasn't deterred by Senna's speed or strength, and laughed as she was nearly dragged towards the staircase.

Raimundo's eye twitched as he desperately tried to focus on tying the protective wards above the Vault, anything to drown out Omi's overly cocky dialogue. "…and then I shall impress her with my powerful technique: Sparrow Eating Hotdog! She will certainly fall hands over toes over me!" the small bald monk proudly proclaimed.

Finally pushed to the brink of frustration, the Brazilian twisted on the ladder he was standing on and glared at the smaller monk. "It's fall head over heels, Omi! Trust me; you don't want to do that with CHASE YOUNG'S SISTER! And I thought we all agreed not to show off when she was here!" he snapped, feeling a vein pop out on his temple.

Omi pouted. "But…..I merely wish to show her my skill as a Dragon Warrior. And why would I not wish for her to fall 'head over heels' over me as you say? Does it not mean to be impressed with one's strength?" he asked, genuinely confused.

Raimundo was glad he had already finished putting up that particular ward, because he needed to grip the ladder as he smacked his forehead with his other (almost healed) hand in order to avoid falling. He heaved a very loud sigh. "No Omi, to fall head over heels for someone doesn't mean to be impressed with someone, it means that they've fallen in love!" he explained slowly, feeling the beginnings of a headache about to occur.

"Who has fallen in love?" a soft feminine voice asked, Kimiko and Senna walking in from around the corner. Both boys jolted in surprise at Senna's voice, and Raimundo accidentally released his grip on the ladder. The Shoku leader let out a noise of shock as he flailed about, momentarily forgetting how to harness his element, and fell to the ground with a painful grunt, his chin meeting the ground and his feet dangling over his head. Luckily he hadn't bitten his tongue. The girls gasped and rushed over to the fallen Wind Dragon. "Are you alright? That looked rather painful!" Senna asked the fallen leader, concern etched on her lovely features.

Omi chuckled. "It appears as though Raimundo has just fallen head over heels over you!" he announced loudly. Senna blinked in surprise while Kimiko giggled at Omi's innocent remark. Raimundo flushed bright red; whether he was blushing from being seen acting so clumsy or from Omi's words he wasn't quite sure. The Brazilian teen did know, however, as soon as he recovered from his fall he'd pummel a particular loud mouthed Chinese boy.

Raimundo gritted his teeth in frustration. "Omi, to fall head over heels over someone doesn't mean it happens if they are literally falling!" he spat out, rising to his feet only to twinge in pain at the kink in his neck. He muttered a few curses in his mother language (he doubted Senna knew anything but Chinese) as he worked his sore neck.

Kimiko snorted. "Let me guess…another butchered idiom?" she asked bemused. At Raimundo's dry look and Omi lifting his nose into the air, she had her answer. She rolled her eyes. "Whatever, let's just get Senna comfortable. You two finished putting up the protective talisman?" she asked, noticing quite a few of the sacred papers were indeed hanging above their heads. Omi grinned sheepishly as he stepped aside to reveal his own box of wards he had forgotten to put up when he had been bragging to Raimundo. The Japanese woman gave him a disappointed look. "Omi, you know those wards are important to put up when we have honored guests." She reminded pointedly.

Senna smiled softly. "It is alright, I would not mind assisting you with the placing of wards. I am very humbled to know you see me as an honored guest." She remarked shyly. Omi beamed; glad the attention was diverted from him, and picked up one of the wards to offer to her. "Much appreciated, Omi…..oh!" she jolted in surprise when her fingers touched the sacred paper. It had sent a strange sensation up her arm. It had not been unpleasant, yet it was not a sensation she could say was enjoyable either.

Kimiko quirked her eyebrow in concern when Senna let out the noise of surprise, her grip on the sacred paper slacking. "Senna, are you alright?" she asked cautiously. Perhaps the sacred paper recognized her as an immortal and zapped her. That would spell trouble for the girl; these wards were almost everywhere, especially around the tea room where all four of them would be slumbering.

Senna blinked slowly and looked up to see three pairs of concerned eyes. She smiled softly. "I am alright. Thank you for your concern. The ward…it had incited an unusual sensation into my arm. It was not painful as much as it was strange." She admitted. Omi hummed in thought.

"Perhaps it senses Chase Young's magical energy around you." He mused before the other two monks could stop him. Senna looked slightly distressed.

"Are you certain? I was under the impression these wards to drive off….evil spirits." She managed out softly. Kimiko sent an ugly glare in Omi's direction while Raimundo tried to diffuse the situation.

"Well….you guys teleported here right?" he asked quickly. Senna nodded and he grinned. "Well teleporting takes a lot of skill and magic, so it's likely that the wards confused the powerful amount of energy as dangerous. It could happen to anyone….who knows magic." He lied smoothly, pleased to see those beautiful golden eyes light up in relief and understanding. "Hey, where's your stuff? I'll take it back inside while the other two give you a tour of the place." He offered, rather eager to change the subject before Omi could jeopardize them again.

Kimiko rolled her eyes at Raimundo's not so subtle subject change and pulled out the shrunken chest. "Changing Chopsticks!" she called out, the chest returning to its proper size. Senna laughed and clapped at the display.

"That is never going to be anything less than fascinating!" she praised as Raimundo went to grab the newly restored object. She faltered when she noticed that he seemed to be struggling to lift it over his stomach with his one good arm. "I am sorry…is it too heavy?" she asked sheepishly. Perhaps she should not have included the puzzles or journals.

Raimundo gave her a strained smile. "Nah, my neck and shoulder are just a little tight from my fall." He lied. The chest itself was probably the issue; there was no way the girl packed ninety pounds of clothes into the thing!

Senna blinked once more. "Oh, that is certainly unfortunate. I could offer to massage your shoulders when you return. I am used to doing so for my brother." She offered kindly. She did not understand why everyone looked at her strangely, tilting her head in confusion.

"…..You…give massages to your brother often?" Kimiko asked, unable to block out the image of Chase shirtless and purring as graceful fingers worked knots from his back. The worst part was it wasn't Senna she saw doing so; the fingers nimbly working Chase's back belonged to Kimiko herself.

Senna nodded, making a small noise of agreement. "Chase works very hard to train his body, and thus overtaxes his back every so often. It is not common, but when he does, I assist him until he feels back to full strength." She admitted unabashedly. Kimiko wasn't sure if this was something she should report to Chase. Hell, she wasn't sure if she wanted to report this to Chase. Raimundo blanched and stumbled off to relieve himself of the heavy burden, unable to take in the image of sweet little Senna and wicked Chase doing something so…affectionate. Brother or not, he simply couldn't wrap around his mind the idea of Chase having even an ounce of good in him.

Meanwhile with the other three, Senna was politely in awe as she was shown around the Temple, the monks showing her everything but the Vault, which they explained that all guests, no matter how prestigious or powerful were prohibited from entering. Senna did not mind, and was happy enough to see a change in scenery.

She clapped her hands together as though remembering something just as the tour ended and Raimundo had caught back up with them. "Oh, the change in scenery just reminded me; my brother is giving me a new room of my own once I return from your Temple." She recalled. Kimiko, who knew about this already due to Chase, only half faked her excitement for the girl. Omi scratched his head.

"I do not understand; is the room we found you in not your room?" he asked, not bothered by the fact that Senna's room was nothing more than rocky walls and a massive indoor lake. Senna smiled warmly; she liked Omi and his silly thought process, it was most amusing to hear him say funny things.

"It is, however, it did not leave much comfort or individuality. Now that I have this bracelet that allows me to remain free of aquatic contact for nearly a month, I shall be able to have a real bedroom, with an actual bed!" she gushed, the idea having taken up her thoughts almost as much as spending time with the monks has. Raimundo raised an eyebrow.

"Why not use a waterbed? Those exist you know." He pointed out. The other monks blinked stupidly; they hadn't thought about one of those before, assuming the lake had been Senna's only choice.

Senna shook her head. "Opening a generic one ruins the bedding, I would risk drowning, and they were not very comfortable even before being cut open. Not to mention as well, keeping water near a regular bed would have been too much trouble in case I moved in my sleep and spilled it. Either way I would have ended up with a ruined bed and would not be able to sleep well." She explained sadly.

Kimiko cocked her head to the side and crossed her arms over her chest. "Wait, you said you would risk drowning? But when we first found you, you were at the very bottom of the lake." She recalled, not enjoying how she really thought that Senna had been murdered. Evil or no, she never could believe Chase would murder an innocent person. Torture maybe, but not murder.

Senna giggled. "Chase put a spell on me every night so that I would be able to sleep peacefully in the water without risking the need to breathe until the spell was broken. I am not sure when he learned that spell, but I am most grateful that he did." She smiled softly, but then froze and hid behind Raimundo as a strange old man walked towards them. It wasn't that she didn't think he was trustworthy; it was simply that she was nervous around people she did not know.

Master Fung was hardly insulted when the Young immortal grew shy around him; it was only natural that someone whose memories faded away quickly would be wary of potential strangers. He smiled softly and bowed in the direction of the girl. "Greetings, Senna Young, my students have talked a great deal about you. I am their guardian and current master of this temple. You may call me Master Fung." He spoke gently and slowly as so not to further frighten the girl. Senna peeled herself away from Raimundo to once again look at the master of the temple, her eyes now filled with curiosity and a sort of judging quality.

The young woman deemed him an honest person, and bowed low in respect. "Forgive me for my rude and rather inappropriate reaction, Master Fung. It is an honor to have been welcomed into your domain. I value the generosity in which you sacrifice important lessons with your students in order for them to acquaint with myself." She stated happily, beaming at the old man when she rose from her bow. "I shall endeavor not to cause too much trouble or distraction for your students during my stay." She insisted.

Master Fung felt his heart warm at her sincerity and kindness; it was no wonder his students were so enamored with the girl. He matched her smile in kindness. "Do not be bothered with such; for a lady such as yourself could never be any trouble to us at all. Please enjoy your stay. For now, I shall have to excuse myself. There is a meeting with the other elders that I am afraid I cannot avoid. Young Ones, Miss Young, I shall bid you good afternoon." He smiled and bowed his heads, the four before him mirroring his movement but lower in respect, before walking away. Indeed, Senna Young was more than he expected. While he already knew how much she looked like her elder brother, the girl could not be any more opposite in behavior. He would rest easily tonight, knowing the monks were safe and this girl was truly as genuine and kind as they had described her.

As the old monk walked away, Dojo slithered by before noticing the monks and the immortal girl. "Well, well, I finally get to see her awake!" he teased, belatedly realizing Senna might not have been prepared to see a dragon, let alone a talking one. Indeed, her golden eyes widened in shock and she knelt to the ground to observe him more closely. "Erm…hi…there?" he managed out weakly, his smile faltered at her reaction.

Senna's expression blanked for a moment before morphing into one of awe. "Amazing, it has been such a long time since I have met a guardian dragon. At least…I think it has been, I am only certain that I have met one before." She tilted her head down as though bowing to Dojo. "It is an honor to be in your presence, Temple Guardian." She smiled softly.

Dojo blushed red from head to tail, and his chest puffed out in arrogance he did not own nor earn. "Ye-ye-yeah! Temple Guardian, that's me! Pleased to be of service to you!" he proudly proclaimed. The Dragon Warriors snorted behind her hands, knowing otherwise. The tiny green dragon shot them a warning look. "So uh, this other dragon that you believe you had seen, did he happen to have…..yellow scales?" he asked, his eyes narrowing in distaste. The dragon he was talking about was none other than his cousin, Chucky Cho, a two-faced scam artist who the green skinned dragon had never been able to forgive after putting his friends in danger after he was caught in one of his many scams. Senna thought hard, and shook her head. He relaxed. "Well, trust me when I say that's a good thing. Welcome to the temple!" he cried out, his tiny arms flying out in a dramatic flair.

Senna giggled. "I thank you for the welcome." She pushed herself off of the ground, lightly dusting herself off. "If anything, I must say that the dragon I met looked very similar to you. Have you any relatives still living in China?" she asked with polite curiosity.

Kimiko narrowed her eyes and raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure that the dragon looked like Dojo? I thought all dragons have a distinct appearance as so not to be mistaken for another?" she asked casually, typing in the strange remembrance into her phone to put into a letter later for Chase. Senna did not answer her, instead looking at the strange device in her hands.

"Um…if I may, might I ask what is that contraption you are fiddling with?" she asked slowly, not sure if she was being rude to ask. Everyone, including Dojo, winced; whether Chase did not attempt to introduce the girl to technology or she simply had not been able to remember such devices in the first place, they all felt bad for the girl whose condition forced her to be behind the times.

Kimiko masked her wince with a smile. "I can explain what it is, but it might take a while. Why don't we continue discussing this in the tea room? We'll be spending our nights in there anyways so we might as well get you comfortable with the area." She suggested. At the happy nod, the monks, Senna, and Dojo headed into the tea room, which had been relieved of the massive table in order for everyone to be able to sleep comfortably. "This is a cell phone. It is a device that allows people to communicate with others that are not in the same room with them. You can talk to anyone from anywhere on the planet, as long as that other person has a cell phone as well." She explained, smoothly hiding the notes about Senna's memory recordings and showing the girl the dial page. "You type in the number needed to call someone, and press that green button to activate it. When you are done talking, you press the red one to indicate that you are finished talking. Does this all make sense?" she asked gently, knowing it must be a lot for the young girl to absorb.

Senna listened patiently to the explanation, and was happy to say she could actually understand what Kimiko was implying. "Yes! It is similar to telepathy, but for those who are not masters of the technique, correct?" she beamed cheerfully. Everyone else looked surprised.

"Wait, are you saying you know how to use telepathy?" Raimundo asked in shock. Everyone had assumed that the only thing Senna had outside of her horrible conditions was the inability to age or die. Kimiko, having experienced the girl's strength and speed on sheer accident, was less shocked, but still curious. Senna nodded happily. "So you probably use it with Chase a lot right?" he asked.

Senna nodded once again. "Yes. It was very tricky to learn, but I am very proficient at projecting my thoughts to other people now. The issue with learning telepathy is that not only must you have a strong connection to magic; you have to have a bond of sorts with the person you are trying to communicate with. I am not sure if I would be able to converse with Chase from across the world, but I am certain I could do so from a very faraway place." She explained softly. "So, I suppose this…'cell phone' is even more powerful than telepathy!" she deduced.

Omi looked excited. "Most impressive, as we are Xiao Lin dragon warriors and are very much connected to magic, does that mean that we are capable of learning such a technique?" he asked excitedly. Senna shrugged.

"I am not sure. Like I said, in order to properly learn the skill, there needs to be a bond. I suppose as you are all good friends and team members, that it is possible. Would it be too…forward of I to attempt to communicate with all of you to see if you are capable?" she asked shyly, as the skill was very intimate in nature, and if the monks did not want her inside their minds she would understand.

Everyone's eyes widened in excitement. "No, no, not at all, by all means go ahead!" Raimundo insisted excitedly. She smiled in relief, it was better to have someone's permission to project thoughts into their mind than to go ahead and do so. She did not want to be seen as rude after all.

"Very well then." She decided, sitting down on the floor and positioning herself into a meditative pose. "As you are all very much unexperienced in the ways of the art, it is best for everyone to concentrate as best as you can." She instructed gently, placing her hands in front of her chest in order to complete the pose. As the others followed in her footsteps, Omi could not help but feel a slight sense of déjà vu, Senna looking remarkably similar to Chase in that moment was it not for her braided hairstyle. He would know as he had seen Chase meditate when he had been under his control many times. "Alright, now everyone close their eyes. I will project the message and only I shall see who is capable of hearing me or not." She insisted. Once again the monks complied and she focused her mind to project to her new friends. 'If you are able to hear my voice right now, keep your eyes closed and raise your hand.' She ordered softly, sending the message forward. She watched as all but Omi raised their hands in the air.

Kimiko felt a tingle inside of her brain just before she heard Senna's thought, the realization that she had been able to hear the girl exciting her. This was great! She'd be able to talk to Senna about private girl talk even if they were in a crowded room if she was able to train her mind properly. Raimundo grinned wide as he heard her sweet gentle voice. Being able to speak without needing to open his mouth…..that was just way too awesome!

Senna smiled sadly; poor Omi had not heard her voice. Perhaps she just needed to strengthen a bond with him in order for her to hear him. It was not a technique that came easily to everyone. "Alright, open your eyes." she instructed. Dojo, Kimiko, and Raimundo lowered their hands before opening their eyes. The immortal girl trained her eyes on Omi. "Omi, were you able to hear me?" she asked kindly. Kimiko and Raimundo winced with a realization that Omi must not have heard the message. The poor kid had been the one to ask about the possibility to use the technique and he had been the one not able to hear her.

Omi grinned sheepishly. "I assumed that I had, but your voice sounded very much far away, and thus I was not able to glean the instructions you were saying." He admitted, causing everyone to feel slightly better. So he was capable, but he just needed the extra push to learn it.

Senna sighed in relief. "I see…then everyone was able to somewhat obtain my message. Please do not be discouraged though Omi. The reason you strained to hear me is not because you are not skilled enough, but simply because you and I have yet to share a strong enough bond. Dojo is different in the fact that he is a mystical being, and is naturally gifted with the technique." She replied gently.

Raimundo raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Seriously, you have a stronger bond with me and Kimiko than with Omi? I mean, I get why you get along with Kimiko so well, because you are both girls and all, but how did you gain a bond with me?" he asked, feeling a little confused as he definitely had not spent that much time with the girl in order to have a bond yet.

Senna looked at him with an amused looked. "Have you forgotten Raimundo? Your face was the first one I saw when you and your friends accidentally came upon me all that time ago." She remarked plainly. Kimiko's eyes widened in surprise and she rushed to write down the information she just heard into her notes. They had come across Senna nearly two weeks ago….she should not have been able to remember that so easily. "Is there someone you need to call Kimiko?" Senna asked patiently, feeling confused as to why her friend was suddenly glued to the conversation device.

Kimiko flinched and looked up sheepishly. She couldn't tell Senna what she was really doing, as it would upset her so she thought quickly. "Uh…no! My phone is a lot more advanced than others, and I just realized I should write down your advice about telepathy." She lied smoothly. She felt so bad when Senna's eyes lit up with happiness; she hated that she needed to lie to her but she had no choice if she wanted to continue seeing her after this.

"That is a delightful idea Kimiko! Ah, I have paper inside of my travel chest, so I can write down steps and lessons as to how to learn to harness the ability! Raimundo, might you please show me where you placed my belongings?" she asked excitedly as she grinned gleefully at being the teacher. Raimundo nodded and escorted her down the hall towards the monk's resting quarters; he had placed them in Kimiko's room so that she could change without feeling uncomfortable.

After the monks grew older and taller (even Omi, who was still much shorter than Kimiko) and Kimiko gained more feminine curves, the monks were finally given full sized suites to call their own inside of the small sleeping quarters they shared almost four years ago. Kimiko hadn't minded sharing her space with Senna's belongings, as they were all going to be sleeping in the tea room together. Sure, they could have continued sleeping in their apartments with Kimiko sharing her bed, but it was safer for Senna if all of them were around her least someone dangerous tries to enter the temple and somehow get past the wards.

Omi looked at Kimiko with a slight frown. "She appears more like Chase Young than we realized." He remarked softly. Kimiko raised an eyebrow as she looked at her diminutive friend. He sighed. "The way she meditated was very similar to how her elder brother would do so. I cannot help but fear that Senna might be more heavily influenced by Chase than we thought." He further explained.

The Japanese woman smiled at her Chinese counterpart. "Relax Omi; Senna's too kind a person to be corrupted, even by her elder brother of all people. Don't worry too much about how she meditates and just enjoy her company. Think about it, she's planning on teaching us telepathy. That's pretty awesome!" she exclaimed with a smile.

Omi put up a slightly less confident smile. "Yes…I suppose you are right. I do wish to learn more about this….brain bobbling skill." He tried with a larger grin at the end. Kimiko rolled her eyes; hopefully one day they could train Omi to understand what proper idioms were.

"Mind boggling." She muttered, just before the other two returned. Senna beamed widely as she carried three journals and a few brand new pencils, while Raimundo walked in with two boxes of….puzzles? That's funny; she never saw puzzles lying around the temple before. They must be Senna's. "Hey Rai, what's up with the puzzle boxes?" she asked. Omi flinched, mistaking the objects as legendary traps meant to subdue Wuya.

Raimundo shrugged. "They were in Senna's suitcase, so I offered to bring them so that we could work on them after we learned a few things about telepathy." He explained, though the puzzles were not what he was expecting; they looked like every day puzzles that someone could buy at a Walmart for ten dollars…not that Raimundo could imagine Chase Young shopping in such a place. Hell, he couldn't imagine him shopping to begin with. He forced the weird image from his mind and set them down.

Kimiko took a better look at the puzzles. One held 500 pieces and depicted a beautiful castle surrounded by equally stunning landscape. The other was more challenging at 1000 pieces but showed a wonderful image of the Northern Lights above a picturesque snowy village. They depicted different beautiful places, she realized. "Hey, Senna…do you have a lot of puzzles like these at home?" she asked casually. Senna nodded her head happily. The feminine monk swallowed thickly. Chase must have known his sister was unable to recall if she ever visited these places, and thus gave her these puzzles to give her the chance to visit these places over and over again in spirit. It almost broke her heart.

"It is true I have many landscape inspired puzzles, but I also have many that portray animals, and other strange places. I enjoy the challenges that come with recreating an image that has been broken up into several hundred, or even thousands of pieces." She admitted. Omi poked at one of the boxes with obvious caution and she giggled. "There is no need to be concerned Omi, puzzles do not harm people." She pointed out.

Kimiko chuckled. "Well, then we should get to our 'lesson' quickly if we want to start one of these puzzles before dinner." She suggested. Amber eyes lit up with happiness, and everyone eagerly took some paper and waited for Senna to begin her lessons about how to harness the power of telepathy.

Omi, it turned out, did not have a natural knack for puzzles. He had been horribly put off by how slow the process was, and failed to see what life skills it could bring when completed. So, in order for him to be involved, Senna had him separate the pieces by color while the rest of them worked on specific areas of the puzzle. Senna chose the one about the Northern Lights, loving the beautiful display of colors. As they had only started working on the puzzle for fifteen minutes, only some of the outline of the puzzle had been completed.

Raimundo snorted. "Hey, can you imagine trying to start a puzzle inverted? Like, doing the edge pieces last?" he remarked dryly as he waited for Omi to pass him another edge piece. Senna shook her head fiercely.

"Not at all, even if it does seem more challenging. One cannot fully understand how complex a puzzle is until they have discovered the parameters of a puzzle. For instance, how do we know if the puzzle is very tall or very wide if not for the edges? Puzzles cannot be completed if the edges are not there. It simply cannot be done." She remarked matter of factly.

Kimiko smiled as she connected another piece. "You sound very knowledgeable about puzzles." She teased, causing the other girl to flush. Omi scoffed, finding the puzzle making to be a waste of time but continuing to do so for Senna's sake, with whom he was working hard to obtain a bond in order to learn telepathy.

"Puzzles are not very difficult. They were meant for children." He muttered sourly, yet continued handing off more edge pieces.

Senna chuckled. "I am willing to argue with you Omi. I am sixteen winters old, and I still believe they are challenging despite my expertise in them." she remarked lightly and worked on connecting two different sections, not seeing the monk's reactions.

Everyone froze as they realized Senna's physical age was….older than most of them! She was the same physical age as Clay and Jack Spicer! She didn't look nor act sixteen, though they supposed she didn't act like a normal teenager due to her condition and lack of worldly experience. It was a little odd to realize she wasn't a little girl, but nearly a woman.

Raimundo cleared his throat awkwardly. "You're….sixteen? Wow, you're a year older than me." He remarked lamely with a chuckle. Senna shrugged and continued working on the puzzle, still not seeing the big deal in her being physically older than them. "So you were born in the winter? What month were you born?" he asked with forced politeness.

Here she looked up and grinned. "I was born on the winter solstice. In fact, my birthday mirrors Chase's, as he was born on the summer solstice six years before me. Six is a lucky number between the two of us." She giggled before returning to her section. Kimiko noticed once she was interested in working on the puzzle, she rarely looked up to communicate, though she did not ignore her new friends; she was just that relaxed and happy to work on the challenging picture.

Kimiko belatedly realized that Senna accidentally gave away Chase's physical age. If Chase was six years older than Senna, who just revealed she was sixteen, then that meant that his age was permanently twenty-two. Chase was a legal adult in every country in the world, while his sister was barely legal to drink in a handful. Even if Senna did not have a memory condition, she would not be legally allowed to do many things due to her eternally youthful age. Kimiko tried not to let the information bother her as she leaned forward to match a piece to the puzzle. "Six is a lucky number for the two of you? That's pretty funny, since you share three sixes, which is another story for Christians." She teased, poking fun at Chase's evil background even though he did not (nor she for that matter) celebrate the Christian religion.

Senna looked up from her section at this in confusion. "Christ-ians?" she repeated slowly, unfamiliar with the word. Raimundo heaved a sigh. Of course the girl wouldn't recognize the religion; it hadn't spread to this part of China until the sixth century, one century after she and Chase turned immortal.

"It's a religion, like Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, and Confucianism. Except unlike most of those, it celebrates only one god." He explained, a proud Catholic himself, though that was expected of the Brazilian teen. "While it might sound crazy that one God does the work of hundreds, he can simply because he is all powerful." He continued.

Senna did not look so certain. "Well, if there is only one God, how can they answer to everyone? There are millions of people out there." She pointed out, causing everyone to wince. Senna was so in the dark about the current times, she did not even realize there were billions of people now.

Luckily, Dojo slithered back into the room. "Alright kiddos, time to….hey! I know that place!" he remarked cheerfully as he noticed the picture on the puzzle box. "That's a village in Norway. Beautiful place, especially when the Northern Lights really kick into gear!" he gushed. Senna looked at the picture in surprise.

"You have been to this place?" she asked kindly. He nodded. "Have you…..visited other places?" she asked tentatively, pulling out the other puzzle of the beautiful castle. Dojo's eyes gleamed in recognition.

"Yeah, I've been all over the world three times over. Though it certainly took a long time to achieve such a task, let me tell ya. In fact, I know that picture your holding, is of a grand castle in Germany. I think I might have stashed a dangerous Shen Gong Wu near there in the twentieth century when the Fire Dragon at the time nearly took his own head off with it." He mused out loud, causing Kimiko to cringe and tenderly clutch her neck. Senna, on the other hand, looked a little depressed.

"I see….it must be wonderful to travel to so many beautiful places." She remarked with a dreamy sadness in her eyes, her hands clenched shut (luckily there were no pieces inside) and firm upon her lap. Everyone noticed it, and it only furthered their sympathy for the lovely girl. Dojo winced and tried to perk her up.

"Hey now, don't be like that. I'm sure your brother has taken you to many wonderful places before." He tried, only to earn a heated glare from the eldest Dragon Warriors. Senna sighed, her eyes now closed.

"I would be happy to prove you correct, Guardian Dragon, yet I cannot tell for certain if that is true. I cannot remember…" she froze, her mind flashing to a night covered sandy world filled with large strange triangles. "….wait. I think…..my brother and I did go somewhere." She wondered, her eyes opening. "My brother and I were in a desert land, with strange triangles as high as the sky surrounding us." She remarked.

Kimiko's eyes widened in shock as she carefully jotted the information down into her notes on her phone. "Senna….that sandy place you're describing is known as Egypt, a land far away from China!" she exclaimed eagerly. "Those triangles are known as pyramids, which are one of Egypt's greatest treasures!" she continued.

Raimundo wondered why Chase would have brought his sister to the deserts of Egypt of all places considering her weakness to dehydration. Perhaps he had to rush through it and waited until night when the sands would be cooler in order for her to travel safely. "That's a pretty long way from home." he mused.

Omi nodded. "Indeed, and quite a perilous place in ancient times. I cannot help but wonder what had you and your brother travel to a desert." He wondered. "Perhaps Chase Young was not yet certain where the two of you would settle down before returning to China." He offered as a possibility.

Senna giggled at his speech. "Omi, why is it that you cannot seem to simply call my brother by his first name only? I am quite aware you are talking about him, I do not recall you speaking of another male named Chase." She teased.

Omi flushed a vivid red. "I…I apologize. It is simply my method of referring to people that are…" here he frozen, having nearly admitted he only called people by their full name if they were someone he considered an enemy. The others noticed as well and worked to find an explanation. "…uh…..people that I am…..not particularly fond of." He finally admitted with a stronger blush.

Senna mistook the blush as embarrassment that Omi did not like her elder brother, yet liked her just fine. She shrugged with a smile. "It is alright Omi, I understand that this temple and my brother are not very well acquainted, he explained that it is the reason he was not also extended an invitation. I apologize on my brother's behalf for his mischief." She offered, bowing low to the floor. Kimiko bit back a giggle at the reaction the boys were giving Senna. Omi sighed in relief now that he was no longer in hot water. Raimundo's eye twitched, annoyed that her brother implied that all he did was a few harsh pranks. Sure, if one considering stealing Omi's good chi and forcing him to the side of evil, among the hundreds of other wicked things he had done as pranks then HEY, WHY NOT?

Dojo clapped his hands. "Alright everyone, dinner is going to get cold if we keep chatting away in here. Come on now, let's get to it! The puzzle and side talks will still be there when you're done!" he ordered, taking to his imaginary role as Guardian Dragon quite seriously in front of Senna. The young woman giggled at his tone and followed everyone to the dining hall.

….

Dinner had passed quickly and they had managed to nearly complete the puzzle within two hours, surprising the monks, considering Senna had some strange instruction about how to solve the puzzle in the first place.

First and foremost, once the edges had been completed, she insisted that they try to complete the main event of the puzzle last, which would be the image of the Northern Lights. Omi had lacked the understanding and she had huffed, actually huffed, and said: "Omi, the satisfaction of completing a puzzle does not come with just putting the first piece that fits in, but how you complete it as well. Think of how distracting the focal point can be; it makes completing the puzzle that much harder since the best part has already been finished." She had explained.

Now, having followed her instructions, the puzzle truly was almost complete, with only twenty or so pieces left. Senna smiled at the youngest of the monks. "Omi, you have yet to put in any pieces yourself, might you like the honor of contributing with the final pieces?" she asked kindly.

Omi blushed. "I am not very much skilled in the puzzling solving skills. Perhaps you should complete it." He mumbled. The elder two had done their share and left to change into their sleepwear for the night, leaving Omi and Senna alone for a short while.

Senna shook her head happily. "I am afraid I cannot. Kimiko, Raimundo, and I have already contributed our parts to the puzzle, but it cannot be complete until everyone has shared their parts. In fact, I am giving you the highest honor to complete the puzzle, which is normally Chase's job." She hinted with another smile.

Omi blinked in surprise. "Your brother helps you complete your puzzles?" he asked in surprise. He could not imagine Chase lying on the floor similar to how he was, and engaging in the challenging pictures with his sister, regardless of how kind he seemed towards her.

Senna nodded. "Yes. Like I had said, it is crucial that everyone involved finishes the puzzle. Chase will not work on the puzzles as much as he knows I am more interested in doing so, but he always finishes it. He is not here though, and as a token of our friendship, I would like for you to be the one to finish what has been started." She insisted. Omi blushed but smiled back.

"Very well…..please excuse me if I am much slower than the rest of our friends." He warned, already finding difficulty in completing the game as he had no clue where to put any of the pieces.

Senna giggled. "Take your time Omi. Puzzles cannot be rushed." She wisely revealed. "You wouldn't want to bend or snap a piece. Otherwise, the full beauty would be lost." She stated plainly.

Omi did not understand why she felt so strongly about the detachable pictures, yet it was not unlikely that she felt proud in her skills with said puzzles and wanted to share her wisdom with him. That made the most sense; he is a highly talented monk after all. He grinned widely when he figured out where to put the last two pieces. "It has been done!" he shouted happily. Senna giggled and clapped her hands. "I am victorious! Puzzle, you have visited your creator!" he declared, much to Senna's confusion.

"You mean 'met your maker', Omi." Raimundo grumbled, returning in an oversized white tee and gray sweatpants. He rolled his eyes and plopped down on the floor with his sleeping bag in tow. "Hey, Senna, now that the puzzle's done, maybe you should go to Kimiko's suite and change for bed. It's almost ten and Master Fung likes us to wake up early." He suggested.

She grinned. "Very well, I shall return swiftly." She promised, and hurried off to find the other girl. Omi watched her go and fidgeted. Despite all the protections that were around the temple, he was not sure it was safe for her to wander all by herself at night, even if it was only a few feet from the tea room to the Dragon suites. He did not have to worry for very long as both girls came back in their sleepwear. Kimiko wore silk red pajamas and Senna wore a sleeping yukata [Japanese gown]. They were giggling over something as they returned to the boys.

"What's so funny?" Raimundo asked flatly, certain that it was something that only girls would find humorous, while at the same time trying not to notice how pretty Senna looked in her sleepwear.

Kimiko grinned at her wary Brazilian friend. "Oh nothing, Senna was just telling me that one of the cat minions is responsible for styling her hair and we started thinking about how we would look as cats ourselves." She explained, breaking into a fit of giggles once again.

Omi scowled. "Being a cat is not very much fun I can assure you." He vowed, recalling the time when he was under Chase's control. Raimundo shot him a warning glare but Senna said nothing about the subject. Rather, she suddenly seemed lost in thought, her face completely blank. "Are you feeling strange? You are rather quiet." He asked carefully.

She blinked and shook her head. "Forgive me for being so rude. I just…I just recalled that I have heard your name before Omi. Chase was talking about you to one of the servants." She explained. Everyone else blinked in surprise; Kimiko slowly pulling out her phone to start jotting down whatever it was that Senna recalled. She smiled softly. "I am not sure, but I believe this happened a while ago." She elaborated.

...

Senna sighed as she walked down another corridor of her brother's palace, bowl of water firmly in her grasp to keep her fingers wet. She had been feeling rather bored lately, and was seeking out her brother for some conversation. Sure, the feline warriors could speak, yet she wished to spend a little more time with Chase, he had been gone for almost two days and she missed him. Just as she was about to enter the main foyer she froze and hid herself as she heard her brother talking to someone.

"You are certain that these are the latest additions to the Xiao Lin monks?" he asked to Deval, one of his two loyal avian familiars. The raven transformed into his human form, a lanky pale man with jet black hair, and bowed.

"Yes my lord. There are four new members to the temple. Three of whom are not indigenous to China. Three of the new monks are male, and the other is female." He explained as he pulled out four rolled up sheets of paper and handing them to his lord. He waited patiently for his master to finish overlooking the reports on all four children.

Chase flipped back to a picture of a small yellow skinned child and smirked. "This is the one I want." He decided." Showing the image to his servant, and unknowingly his sister, he returned the others scrolls to his familiar. Deval raised an eyebrow in surprise yet said nothing. "Have you any protest to my choice?" Chase asked coolly. The familiar shook his head.

"Forgive me, my lord, but does this child not seem a bit young? Why are you interested in someone like him when the Brazilian or American male show much more strength and promise?" he asked cautiously, never one to purposely incite his master.

Chase snorted. "I am not seeking an apprentice Deval. Not this time. Rather, I believe he would make a suitable companion for Senna." He revealed. Senna felt her eyes widen. Her brother was looking to find her a companion for when he went away? How exciting! She barely refrained from letting out a happy noise. "She has become more and more dejected whenever I inform her that I must leave for periods of time. A companion will ease her longing, as well as ensure her safety when I am not here." He continued.

Deval nodded. "A very generous gift from you that is without doubt, my lord, yet why again the boy? Would the female not be a better choice then? They are similar in biology after all." He pressed. Chase looked once more at the Chinese monk.

"I briefly considered it, yet the girl seems too dependent on technology which would be a dead giveaway. It is too much of a risk that she incites curiosity of the outside world to Senna with access to that much information. Besides, this boy…Omi…I see a lot of myself in this one, if your deduction of his skills is accurate. That is the deciding factor. I want assurance that she can be protected if the castle is ever invaded. His martial arts skills would allow me to leave her alone in peace." Here his eyes softened slightly, a sight Senna was more than used to. Senna's smile widened, touched her brother would go so far as to open his home to a stranger for her sake.

Deval nodded with a smile on his face as well. He enjoyed the female immortal's company as well, though not to the extent of his pathetic twin brother Solas, whom was all but infatuated with the girl. "Very well, I shall go and gather more information about the boy then." He promised, returning to his raven form. Chase held out his arm and the raven immediately perched himself onto Chase's forearm.

"Keep this information from your brother. As loyal as Solas is, I fear he would spoil my surprise to my sister given his familiarity with her." He warned, and the raven nodded before flying off out of one of the rather large windows. Chase looked once more at Omi's grinning image and sighed, folding the report and storing it into a secret compartment in his armor. "Omi…..with any luck, it shall take little effort to convince him to join my side, and by default, Senna's." he muttered, before turning to walk up the steps. Senna jolted and tiptoed as quietly as she could away from the stairs so her brother would not realize she had spoiled his surprise for her.

…..

"That is all that I can remember." She finished softly, a smile on her lips as she recalled that endearing moment. Luck for her, as she did not notice the twin set of tearful eyes coming from Kimiko and Omi and the look of disbelief from Raimundo. No one could have guessed that the reason Chase had such an unhealthy interest in Omi was not for his personal gain, but for Senna's. "I wish I had remembered it sooner. It would have made becoming your friend that much easier Omi." She admitted. Within a second she found herself crushed tightly between the two emotional dragon warriors, no longer trying to refrain from crying as they hugged her from either side.

"Do not be discouraged Senna Young! For I am certainly your friend for as long as you wish!" Omi sobbed, burrowing his face into her right shoulder. Senna's face was an amusing mix of confusion and happiness, her own eyes becoming glassy. Raimundo sat numbly there as Kimiko added her own two cents to the matter.

"Don't worry Senna. You have four friends in us now! We'll….we'll always be your friends!" Kimiko managed out as she hugged her from the left. Senna let out a watery smile and allowed a few tears of joy to fall down her porcelain cheeks. Raimundo couldn't help but want to wipe them away. Happy tears or not, he didn't like to see girls cry. The three of them looked so close though, so he remained where he sat.

Senna sniffed through her tears and looked over at the Wudai Leader. "Raimundo, would you…..care to join us?" she asked sweetly, wedged as she was between two sobbing teenagers. The teen stiffened and blushed darkly before shaking his head no. Senna pouted. "Oh come now, it is all but a group hug at this point. The more the merrier, ne?" she insisted, wrestling her right arm free (Omi might be strong, but he was a lot shorter and thus easier to escape) and extending it to the stunned Brazilian. Raimundo wet his lips and shuffled uneasily towards the trio before just as awkwardly wrapping his arms around them, only part of it attributed to his sore wrist. The four sat there for several minutes (Raimundo still feeling uncomfortable about it) before finally breaking away, three of them taking the time to dry their eyes.

Raimundo was the first to break away and coughed a few times. "Well I guess….now that we all agreed that we'll be friends we should head to bed." He mumbled, his face still bright red. He never was that good about physical contact despite his cocky front. Kimiko giggled at his discomfort, knowing fully well how touch shy he was. The teen shot her a half heated glare as he unrolled his sleeping bag. Omi, who was sleeping in his robes, brought out his old sleeping mat and matching blanket. Kimiko's sleeping bag was a little more luxurious than the boys'; being a partial air mattress so she wouldn't have to feel the ground beneath her (hey, she was used to not sleeping on the floor anymore). Yet Senna still sat there, looking rather lost.

"Senna, are you not ready to go to bed?" Kimiko asked as she wiggled into her bed. Senna shook her head, looking a little sheepish. Blue orbs widened in understanding. "You didn't bring a sleeping mat or sleeping bag did you?" she asked just as kindly. Chase must have assumed there would be a bed provided for her. The immortal girl's cheeks tinged pink and she smiled. "That's okay, you can share with me! It's more than enough room for the both of us." She offered, opening her duvet in offering to the girl.

The immortal teen smiled, touched by her friend's willingness to share with her. "Thank you Kimiko." She bowed her head slightly to show she truly appreciated the offer, and crawled into the open space. Raimundo's blush deepened as she crawled into the space and forced himself to the other side in a huff.

"Great now everyone's settled. Goodnight." Was the Shoku leader's sharp response to the touching scene. He wasn't going to admit that the idea of Senna cuddling next to him instead of Kimiko was growing in his mind. The torch lights were still on, he noticed with slight agitation.

Senna giggled. "You sound rather cranky Raimundo." She pointed out; causing the other two monks to giggle as well as the green eyed teen huffed.

"I'm not cranky." He muttered, feeling warmth spread across his cheeks once more. Damn it, why was he blushing so flipping much?!

Kimiko snickered as she flipped herself over to get more comfortable. "Don't worry about his attitude Senna; he's pretty cranky when he doesn't get his proper amount of beauty sleep." She teased. It was only said in half jest; Raimundo really did like his sleep, and would get snappy if he was woken up too early. Raimundo growled and used his element to blow out the torches in the tea room.

"I'm NOT cranky!" he snapped before shoving his pillow over his head. "Goodnight!" he muffled out, trying to drown out everyone's laughter in the process. Soon enough though, the laughter and energy died down, and they all fell asleep.

…..

Chase sighed as he watched the scenes unfold before him in his eyeball crystal ball. The wards had made it a little tricky to hear everything that happened in the tearoom, however, that only satisfied him even more than his sister was safe if his own magic was being repelled. Hannibal and Wuya would be hard pressed to try and break into the temple now. He felt relief as she snuggled closer to Kimiko, pleased that everyone had taken his warnings to heart as she was want for nothing.

However, he was a little annoyed he had not realized that she had been there when he was talking to Deval. Having the monks realize his true intentions for Omi had not been something he had expected, though he supposed he only had himself to blame for not realizing his sister had overheard his conversation. Yet their reactions appeased him when they swore their companionship to Senna, so perhaps it was not a complete failure on his part.

The Heylin overlord cringed as he saw that sickly sweet display of affection when his sister called for a group hug, not one to enjoy such overly sweet moments. At least the Shoku leader had enough sense not to linger too long, it would be a shame if he had to shorten Senna's list of friends from four to three.

Still, the monks appeared to be taking well enough care of her, and he wasn't going to test his resistance to those wards, so there was nothing else to be done. He waved the image of his slumbering sibling away to focus on more pressing matters. Such as…..why it has been so quiet lately? Hannibal was always up to some sort of wickedness, whether it be an attempt to destroy him or to end the monks. Not to mention he hadn't seen hide or hair of Wuya. He could only pray the two weren't working together again, as it always left him annoyed and slightly worried that Wuya would finally get her powers back.

If that was the case though, he already had several plans to deter the pair, and so he left his all-seeing orb in order to train. Hell, while Senna wasn't here, he needn't attempt sleep when he knew it would evade him.

*Day One*

The monks awoke the next morning bright and early. Senna, however, was harder to awaken, as she wasn't used to being woken up at six thirty in the morning. The immortal's bleary eyes and sleepy pout was a sight to behold, making Kimiko and (secretly) Raimundo gush over it. The monks were able to fully awaken her though as they headed to the mess hall to eat with the rest of the members of the temple. The immortal teen made sure to once again thank the guardian of the temple for his hospitality when she spotted him, and he had only given a warm smile, enjoying the look of shock and surprise from his fellow elder monks when they saw how truly opposite Senna was to her infamous brother.

"The food here is very well made." Senna remarked as they exited the mess hall with a shy smile. They noticed she chose rice, fruits, and vegetables for her meal, and deduced she wasn't much of a meat eater like her dragon consuming brother. "Although…I feel like a few people were missing from the room. There are some empty tables." She added, her brows furrowed together in concentration. Kimiko quietly noted the remark into her phone. She was surprised at how much Senna was recalling during her stay here, and she wasn't sure if that was a wonderful thing or something to be concerned about. "Ah! I remember now; there are supposed to be family members at those tables near the end!" the golden eyed girl remembered.

Dojo slithered forward and cleared his throat. "Well…..actually kid, those sections have been closed off for quite some time. After some dangerous villains attacked the temple several times, it was deemed too dangerous for monk's family members to live here." He explained, much to her disappointment.

"Oh…that is such a shame. However, I suppose it is better to be safe than sorry. So, what are we going to do today?" she asked the three monks. Raimundo and Omi were at a loss; normally they'd be stretching right now as to let their meals settle in their stomachs before starting their training. Kimiko rolled her eyes at the boys' troubled expressions.

"Well, I don't know about you boys, but I think I'm going to take a bath. I never got the chance to clean myself properly when we were tidying up the temple." She stated plainly. Senna wrinkled her nose as she realized she would likely need a bath as well. "You want to join me Senna? The women's lavatory is pretty spacious." She offered, to which the immortal girl smiled and nodded.

Raimundo froze as he processed the offer he heard. Kimiko and Senna were off to the baths…the two of them shedding their night clothes and slipping into steamy hot baths. Images of the two beautiful girls giggling and covered in soapy bubble water filled Raimundo's mind. As the images grew more and more vivid, a stubborn part of his body began to 'grow' as well. He stiffened as something metallic in scent dribbled out of his nose and he rushed away from the others, surprising Omi and Senna. The two of them blinked owlishly at his retreating figure.

"Was his nose bleeding?" Senna wondered in alarm. That was certainly strange, she never saw him come into contact with anything that would cause his sudden nosebleed. Omi scratched his head in confusion.

"I am not certain. Perhaps he is beginning to grow ill and feared giving us sickness. I have never see Raimundo obtain a nosebleed without assistance from a sparring match or his own clumsy footing." He noted, just as oblivious as his golden eyed friend.

Kimiko had a deadpanned expression on her face, as she knew damn well what it was that gave Raimundo his sudden nosebleed. 'He's such a perverted boy.' She thought flatly to herself. Then she sighed and pretended not to let her friend's dirty mind get to her. "I don't think he's sick Omi. Sometimes nosebleeds happen when your nose gets really dry." She lied smoothly, not wanting to corrupt her youngest friend and newest friend in the process. "Why don't you go check up on him while we go to the baths? Just to be safe of course." She offered. The yellowed skinned boy nodded in agreement and rushed off after the brunette and she rolled her eyes. "What a moron. Let's go, I'm starting to feel a little grungy." She suggested and the immortal followed her to her room to gather clean clothes and then headed to the bathhouse.

The bathrooms had been changed dramatically once Kimiko began developing more. The elder monks reopened the woman's bathhouse (which had been closed off for several decades due to disuse) and had the young dragon warriors clean it up. Since Kimiko was generally the only occupant, she had organized it to her liking. The walls were a baby blue and mint green color depending on what direction a person looked. The counters and sinks were made of marble and steel with a massive vanity mirror hanging above, and there were several different colored fluffy rugs on the porcelain tile ground. A large bath that looked more like a medium sized pool took up the middle of the room, and there were ten different shower stations among the walls with various colored curtains should there ever be any more female dragons in the future. Spare vegetation decorated the rest of the space, looking every bit like a spa instead of a temple bathhouse. Kimiko (and her wealthy father) had designed the whole set up.

Senna's eyes widened in wonder at the beautiful design and she gasped. "This is the most wonderful bathhouse I have ever seen!" she squealed as she ran around the room to make sure she saw everything. Kimiko chuckled, but there was a lot of pride in her for how beautiful the room looked. "Are you the one responsible for this?" Senna asked, her awestruck face copied by the massive mirror to the left of her.

Kimiko grinned and rubbed the back of her head modestly. "Yeah, I designed the whole thing. My father gave me a reasonable allowance to rebuild it and now it's my own private oasis away from the boys." She explained. It was true; she enjoyed her bathing time as it was an hour away from the boys where she could relax. Senna's eyes shined in excitement.

"Then I am most confident in my decision to have you assist me in decorating my room! Oh, it will be absolutely wonderful!" she squealed, clasping her hands together with the Japanese woman's own. Kimiko giggled once again, but sobered up as she realized something.

"Wait, Senna, how am I going to help you? It's not like I can take you out shopping without your brother's permission. That would be too rude. I'm sure he wants to be able to add his own touches to it as well." She questioned. Not to mention, he would likely want to overlook her choices and approve or disapprove of them, but she wasn't going to tell that to the girl.

Senna hummed thoughtfully and snapped her fingers. "I know! I'll ask him right now!" she offered. Kimiko blinked in surprise. That's right; Senna was able to communicate with Chase through telepathy. Senna allowed herself to settle on the floor and entered her meditative pose. 'Dàgē, can you hear me?' she called out to him mentally. Kimiko sat on the floor with her and waited patiently.

Chase struck the rock several times in order to shape it into a proper corner spot. He had been working on forming Senna's room for the last two hours. As of now, it had two completely normal looking obsidian walls and three edges for the corners. He mused whether he should build her a walk in closet or have it be separate from her room when he heard her voice. 'Dàgē, can you hear me?' she called out. She was using telepathy, he realized with a smile as he took his meditation stance, yet did not sit down. He was powerful enough to concentrate without needing to sit on the floor.

'Yes, Mèimei, I can. How has your morning faired?' he asked with a tone that told her he was smiling. While telepathy and mind reading were two different types of mind magic, in telepathy it was still possible to tell a person's mood. It was also possible to project images if needed. Quite truthfully, the only difference between telepathy and mind reading was that mind reading was a complete invasion of a person's mental space, including looking into their past thoughts, not just the current ones.

'I have been well. Are you alright with just the apprentice as company? Ah, the reason I wanted to talk to you was because Kimiko showed me a wondrous bathhouse that she designed by herself. I wanted to show it to you as proof that she is an excellent choice to assist me in the designing of my new room.' She explained right before assaulting his mindscape with the images of the bathhouse in question. Chase chuckled at her description of 'the apprentice'; she has yet to properly remember Jack's name, though she has met him quite a number of times. Then he was moderately surprised at the level of elegance in the bathhouse. Far too much soft colors than he was comfortable with, but for a woman, he assumed this was a pleasant design.

Amused, he almost wondered if he would suddenly imagine Kimiko soaking in the large bath but quickly banished the thought. He needn't accidentally project the thought to his little sister. 'Impressive work, you must be confident in her abilities now are you not?' he asked leisurely. 'It is very interesting that you bring the topic of your room up, as I am currently in the process of cleaning it up for you.' He added, sending her an image of the half completed room, showing her the sides that were completed (he was still contemplating whether to add the closet or not). He felt the connection falter slightly and knew she had moved in her excitement before it returned to full strength.

Senna never was quite capable of controlling her emotions, but in this case, he had no qualms about it, appreciating her enthusiasm. 'Oh Chase it looks wonderful! Not to mention so large! I could likely keep all my puzzles and journals in there with ease!' she squealed happily. Now Chase was certain he should add a walk in; her other possessions would be otherwise lost due to her short memory.

He chuckled. 'Yes Senna, you shall be able to keep all of your belongings in here with ease.' He assured her gently. Then he sensed some nervous energy coming from her. 'Is anything the matter? Are the monks treating you well?' he asked, protective brother instincts kicking in. So help them if she felt threatened in any way…

He could almost see her shaking her head. 'Oh no, it is nothing the monks have done! They have been nothing but courteous and kind! Rather, it is what has not been done.' She hastily explained, though her statement only led to his confusion. What had not been done, precisely? 'Kimiko is more than happy to assist me; however, she and I have wondered how we are to choose furniture. She did not want to take me out to search for such items without your permission.' She clarified.

Ah. So that was the reason for her reaching out to him. The Japanese woman was shrewder than he gave her credit. He would have been livid had she taken Senna into the public without him knowing. Though, he supposed he had no such choice. 'She is right to be cautious.' He agreed quietly. 'I would prefer being told if you are planning on leaving the Temple, or anywhere for that matter. Your memory terrifies me Mèimei, I would not want for you to end up lost in a place you have never been before.' He admitted softly.

He heard a soft sigh. 'I know Dàgē, but I trust Kimiko. Please Chase! She would never let me get hurt! You….you trust her do you not?' she asked slowly. He swallowed thickly. Trust a Xiao Lin monk with his sister outside of the temple? Had he not shown enough trust as it was? He was allowing her out of his sight, allowed her to leave their home, and now he was supposed to let her out into the public world with his sworn opposites? No…he wasn't ready for such a step. Not when she was still so innocent and unaware of the world. However, Senna was not as immature as she appeared, and she would know better than to run off.

He heaved his own sigh. 'I trust you to make the right choices, Senna, which is enough. We will discuss more about this topic when you have had a chance to see your new room. I will contact Kimiko then to go over the rules. Is that not fair?' he asked, feeling a migraine about to worm its way into his head. Damn but did he spoil her. Ah well, what else could he do but pamper his only kin and last true source of goodness with the care that she deserved? It was the least he could do after she obtained her curse.

He felt her spirits lift at his (reluctant) approval. 'I appreciate your approval so very much Dàgē. Do not worry; I will still endeavor to show you the pieces that I like! I shall let you be now. I love you Chase!' she added, warmth obvious in her tone.

He smiled weakly, even though she could not see it. 'I love you as well, Senna. Now, go on and enjoy your stay with the monks. I shall see you tomorrow evening.' He replied evenly, and waited until her presence was gone from his mind. He leaned against one of the newly finished walls and ran a hand through his hair in frustration. "Dear gods I swear I am losing her with every passing moment she is left in their presence." He muttered to himself. He scowled at himself for his moment of weakness and tsked. "How pathetic I have become to not be able to function without her here for two days a month, whereas she has endured much longer for centuries past!" he chastised himself. Clearing his head, he returned to his work of Senna's room. It was only half done after all.

Kimiko was trying her best to be patient, but it was so hard when so many emotions came across Senna's face while she spoke to her elder brother. There was happiness, nervousness, and even a little concern, that spread across the immortal's face. So she breathed out in relief when Senna finally opened her eyes again and smiled once more. "So…..what did he say?" she asked, unable to hide hope from slipping into her question.

Senna's smile widened. "He said that we are given permission, and that he will discuss with you what is to be done when the time comes." She explained. She hopped up off the ground. "Oh this is absolutely exciting! I cannot wait!" she squealed.

The female monk giggled and sighed in relief. Chase must really want his sister to be happy if he was willing to let her go into a mall. That was so sweet of him. She clapped her hands. "Well, that's settled then. Now we can relax in the bath." She announced, to which Senna cheered and they set themselves to cleaning themselves off in the showers before enjoying the hot water of the tub.

"So you two enjoy your unnecessarily long baths?" Raimundo teased when the girls came out of the bathhouse an hour later, trying to save face for his embarrassing nosebleed. Since the girls had taken their time with the baths, he took to trying to teach soccer to Omi….again. Even three years later he was completely hopeless when it came to learning the rules of the game. His cockiness faded when he saw what the two were wearing.

Kimiko wore an off the shoulder bright purple shirt that revealed her flat stomach, cream colored capris, and teal flats. The look was topped with a sparkly turquoise colored slouch hat, her hair flowing down her back. Senna's attire was a lot more conservative, yet none the less just as appealing. She wore an emerald green tunic that was matched with a green and gold Snap-On for her bracelet, wearing a thin gold belt around her waist, and black leggings underneath that were tucked into black boots. Her long ebony hair was done in a side braid, her longest bang remaining free from the confinement. With her golden eyes, pale skin, and slightly pointed ears, she looked elven. Crap, two beautiful girls and both were out of his reach. One was an ex-girlfriend, and the other…..had a psychopath for a brother.

He cleared his throat. "What gives Kim? Why aren't you in uniform?" he tried, only to get a flat look and tried again. "Not that…..you know….you don't look good in it or anything!" he tried to assure her, though they both knew the damage was done.

The Dragon of Fire rolled her eyes. "Master Fung said we weren't training while Senna was here, so there's no need to stay in my robes. Duh." She remarked, causing Senna to giggle. "Senna said she was going to try and teach me a little more about telepathy, and maybe even learn to project it ourselves. You guys want in?" she asked, hands on her hips.

Omi leapt up in joy. "Oh, most certainly yes, we are willing to participate! I am prepared to train my mind until it has improved by jumps and skips!" he shouted happily, much to everyone's confusion.

Raimundo blinked slowly before snapping his fingers "Oh I got it: he meant leaps and bounds!" he sighed; if only there was a Shen Gong Wu that could fix Omi's brain. "Yeah, I'm game. Just let me change out of my robes. If we don't have to wear these things I definitely going to change; this cloth is so itchy!" he complained, heading off to his room to get into something more comfortable.

"Alright, we'll be in the gardens!" Kimiko called out. He held up a hand to indicate he had heard her and she rolled her eyes. "Come on, let's get ourselves prepped while Wind boy goes and makes himself pretty." She suggested, causing a grin on Omi's face and another giggle from Senna.

"So he is the Dragon of the Wind then? What are you and Clay then, Omi? I am aware that Kimiko is the Dragon of Fire." she asked as they headed towards the gardens. Kimiko wasn't sure if she should write down that Senna remembered who Clay was, though she supposed she had told the girl he wasn't here, so she had remembered that.

Omi grinned. "I am glad that you had said that, for I am the Dragon of Water! The greatest of all the elements!" he boasted, much to Kimiko's irritation. As if his head needed to get any bigger. "Then, it is obvious that Clay is the Dragon of Earth." He finished as he settled himself onto the earthen floor of the gardens. Senna made a noncommittal noise.

"That is certainly interesting. Though, if I recall, my brother was training to be the dragon of Wind like Raimundo. I wonder why he had stopped?" she mused, much to the other two's shock. Chase was supposed to be the Dragon of the Wind?! Poor Rai, he was going to have a heart attack when he found out that he shared the elemental gift with the Heylin overlord. Kimiko quickly scribbled the information down on her phone while Senna was still in thought.

"Who stopped doing what?" Raimundo asked as he entered the gardens wearing his signature white hoodie and sweatpants. The remaining monks paled and bit their lips. Kimiko waved her hands around frantically.

"Oh, it's nothing Rai! We were just killing time while waiting for you since you took so long!" she insisted, praying he would take the bait. Luckily for her, he did; the teen flushed red and grumbled under his breath about women and their finicky behavior. "Ok then, we're all here now, so let's get started, eh?" she asked quickly before Senna could wonder why she was acting so strange.

The girl shrugged and smiled. "Very well, projecting your thoughts are a lot more difficult than accepting another's thoughts so we shall need to practice some mental exercises….." she began.

Trying to learn how to project your thoughts onto someone else really was exhausting, Kimiko thought to herself as she laid on one of the stone benches, completely wiped out from the three hours they spent trying to learn telepathy. It was so much easier just to accept the messages from Senna than trying it for themselves. The only one who had come even close to being able to send a message was Omi, who had simply thought so loudly and repeatedly that it had hurt Senna's head and she finally admitted that enough was enough. Omi had run off to get an aspirin for the immortal, whom was still inflicted with a headache from Omi's accidental onslaught.

Raimundo groaned from his spot on the earthen floor. He had the hardest time concentrating when trying to push his thoughts outside of his physical boundaries of all of them while Kimiko simply didn't have the stamina to project the few feet it took to reach Senna. "Ok, let's just accept the fact that none of us are going to be able to learn telepathy at the moment." He muttered, feeling his own migraine finally start to fade away. Senna sighed, rubbing at her temples.

"It is not an easy task. It takes quite a lot of patience to learn how to control the skill. I am certain it took me years to completely control telepathy properly, and I am at a disadvantage with my consistent memory loss. If I am able to do it within a few years, I am sure that you four will be able to learn it within one." She insisted. Kimiko lifted her head from the bench.

"Four? You want to teach Clay too?" she asked in surprise. Clay didn't seem like the type to use telepathy, or even be comfortable with the idea of using the technique. Then again, it would be pretty rude to just not offer him the possibility, even if he did decline.

Senna made a noise of agreement as her normal method of nodding her head was too much for her sore brain at the moment. "Of course, it is only fair to offer the same to him as I have done for all of you. When do you suppose he shall be back?" she asked.

Raimundo grunted as he forced himself into an upright position. "I think he's supposed to come back on Sunday?" he wondered, his mind too hazy to think properly. Kimiko made a noise of agreement, too tired to actually respond. "Yeah, he'll be back on Sunday, but you'll be back home by then." He remarked.

Kimiko sighed. "I could call him after lunch. I think it's about five in the morning over in Texas right now. He's used to waking up pretty early." She offered. Omi finally returned and Senna accepted the medicine gratefully. "Right now though, I just want to nap!" she whined, flopping back on the bench.

Senna chuckled softly. "A short nap might be best, then we shall eat and replenish our bodies fully." She agreed, standing up, and causing the others to look at her sluggishly. "I refuse to rest on the ground alone. I am going to search for a blanket that we might all relax upon. Omi, if you might assist me?" she asked, looking every bit as regal as her elder brother in that moment. As he was the only one who appeared to still have energy, Omi dutifully followed her to find such a blanket.

Kimiko chuckled. "She a lot more like Chase than we gave her credit for if lying on the ground is beneath her." She teased, yet the remark made Raimundo cringe. It was bad enough that she looked a lot like her brother but for her to also act like him was too much for the current Dragon of the Wind. He said nothing as the girl in question returned with an absolutely massive blanket (no doubt hers as even Kimiko did not own something that fancy in design) and grinned weakly when she smiled at him.

Her smile alone was enough to let him relax. Sure, she was related to the dreaded Chase Young. She looked and occasionally acted like him in regards to her manner of speech and how she was used to high living. But in the end, she was still Senna. Senna, who was kind, sweet, and genuinely good. He didn't need to fear her becoming evil like her brother. With that thought in mind, he was able to relax with the other three and quickly fall asleep under the warmth of the sun.

….

Kimiko looked at Senna, who eyed her phone in awe. "Remember what I said about how these are used? Well, you'll find out now. This is Clay's home number. Once I press the green button we just wait for him to pick up. I'll put him on speaker so we can all hear him." She explained to the immortal teen, who nodded eagerly. As promised, the teens took a nice rest after attempting to use telepathy themselves, and enjoyed a light lunch before returning to the tea room in order to contact the Dragon of Earth. As Senna wiggled in excitement in her seat, Kimiko pressed the call button and immediately hit speaker.

They all waited as three rings passed, before a familiar southern twang answered. "Yello? This is the Bailey residence." He greeted, not having caller id (and thus forced to endure obnoxious prank calls from Raimundo and Omi). Senna gasped in surprise as she indeed heard the cowboy's voice. "Kimiko, is that you?" he asked, hearing the tiny gasp.

The Japanese girl giggled. "No, that wasn't me. That was Senna. She's here at the Temple. Chase gave her permission to stay for two nights not long after you left." she admitted. She felt bad that Clay had been the last to know, but it wasn't their fault the Heylin warrior decided this week was an appropriate time to let her come to visit. She could imagine the look of surprise on Clay's face.

Indeed he sounded surprise when he let out a startled noise. "Well ain't that something! Howdy there little miss! Sorry I wasn't there to see ya into the temple." He apologized politely, ever the gentleman to ladies. Senna looked at Kimiko in confusion.

"Um, might you tell him that I more than accept his apology as it was not his fault, as well as my understanding that he is somewhere halfway across the world?" she asked, not aware that Clay could hear every word. She jumped when he chuckled.

"Oh I can hear ya Miss Senna. Ya ain't used to cellphones are you?" the monks could practically hear his grin of amusement. "And yer right; I am halfway across the world right now. It's six in the morning over here." He explained. Senna's eyes grew wide in horror.

"Oh no! Have we interrupted your rest?" she asked, no longer, concerned that she was leaning towards the small device. "I was not aware that the other side of the world would be so far behind the time!" she admitted sheepishly.

Clay chuckled once more, albeit with slight unease. "Aw, shucks, you didn't bother me at all. I'm used to wakin' up at four in the morning back here at the farm. I had just finished my five o'clock chores when ya'll called me." He insisted, allowing Senna to relax. She wasn't used to waking up before seven usually, so four in the morning sounded very early.

Kimiko cleared her throat. "Well, letting you know that she was here now wasn't the only reason we called. Senna has been trying to teach us telepathy, and was wondering if you were interesting in learning the art too?" she asked.

Senna shook her head. "Actually that is incorrect Kimiko. I was hoping to find out if he was compatible with the technique beforehand. It would be pointless to teach him if he does not have the qualifications in order to master a mental magic." She clarified before frowning. "However, I am not sure how to test his compatibility as he is far beyond my normal reach." She wondered out loud.

Clay hummed. "Well, I reckon you could just test me the next time you visit the temple. I should be there the next time, and hopefully, I can learn like the others are. Can't be that difficult ta see if I'm right for learning it." He declared, only for the other monks to groan out loud. "What, did I say something?" he asked in confusion.

Raimundo waved a hand even though Clay couldn't see it. "Just trust us dude; it's a lot harder than we all thought it would be." He promised grimly. Kimiko and Omi groaned in unison to his statement.

Clay snickered. "Well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see then. Alrighty then, I should get back to work. It was real nice talking to ya again, Miss Senna." He stated. Senna nodded happily. "See ya'll in a few days then. Later." The American stated before hanging up.

Senna's eyes shined brightly. "This cellphone is certainly more versatile than telepathy! Did you say that anyone can use one?" she asked eagerly. Again the elder two monks nodded; they had practice with these sorts of questions as they had been asked by Omi when he first met them.

"Almost anyone can use one; it all depends on how much cash they have. Or uh…if they can afford one. Phones can be pretty expensive if you ask for the latest model." Raimundo clarified at her confused expression.

The immoral hummed in thought. "I wonder if dàgē has one then." She mused, causing everyone else to blanch. None of the monks, not even tech-savvy Kimiko, could see Chase Young using a cellphone in any situation. Especially since they now knew that he had a powerful control of telepathy. "Although, I think I have seen him move his fingers across a flat rectangular stone that glows before. I wonder if that is a cellphone." She mused once more.

Kimiko blinked in shock, switching her phone from calls to an internet search. "Senna was your brother using something like this?" she asked slowly, pulling up a variety of tablets in all sizes and colors. Senna frowned in concentration, looking at several options before her eyes widened in recognition and pointed at a very large tablet. "He was using something like this? This is one of the latest models in technology." She managed out. Chase had access to technology in his palace. Even moreso, he was more than up to date on the latest tech. Even she didn't have this particular model yet; her father's request was waitlisted right now!

Senna beamed, proud of herself for recognizing something her brother had used. "It is? Then, perhaps he does have one of these cellphones after all! Huh, but why would he not allow me the same?" she asked, feeling less enthused the more she thought about the topic.

Omi shrugged. "Perhaps he was concerned you would not remember where you had left it. Or maybe it is because you had no one to….mmmph!" a tan hand smacked him on the mouth, leaving his sentence unfinished but the message quite clear. Senna visibly shrunk in her seat, noticeably upset about her lack of a social life.

After sending a death glare to her youngest friend, Kimiko gently put a hand on the other girl's shoulder with a kind smile. "Well, if you ask your brother for a cellphone, we'll be sure to give you our numbers. You'll be able to call us at any time. Well, you'll be able to call me anytime." She teased, looking specifically at Raimundo, who bristled.

"Hey! Not all of us can afford unlimited minutes! She can still text me if she needed to!" he protested, only to see the young looking girl's face cloud with confusion once more.

"Text, as in scripture?" she asked slowly, not understanding the slang. Kimiko giggled.

"We'll explain it later. For now, what would you like to do? We have a lot of time to kill before dinner." She asked. Senna shrugged, her braid swinging from one shoulder to the other. Raimundo cleared his throat.

"Well, there isn't much to do around here when we aren't training, but I've been trying to teach Omi soccer for a while. Soccer is an entertaining sport that's play all over the world. I've been having a hard time getting Omi to understand it but maybe you'll be better at it?" he offered, secretly eager to show off his favorite sport to the pretty girl. At her excited grin, he knew that it was going to get interesting really quick.

…..

Senna's face stubbornly remained red even as she apologized over and over to Dojo and Omi. As it turned out, the immortal was very good at soccer. Far better than Raimundo, even, much to the Brazilian's chagrin. Unfortunately, the girl's strength made itself known as she played, for her kicking strength overpowered most of them. The last such kick she exhibited had the ball collide into Omi, who flew several feet and smashed into Dojo, who had come by to see how everyone was doing. Kimiko was treating their injuries with her lips pursed in order to avoid laughing. The situation had been just too funny, though she would not admit so in front of her injured friends.

Senna hung her head low in a bow. "I truly, truly am sorry Omi and Guardian Dojo! I never meant to cause you such grievances!" she exclaimed, as Raimundo patted her on the back to soothe her. He was still a little flabbergasted that she had been so skilled even though she had never played the game before. Though, the Dragon of the Wind wasn't sure if the girl's skills were thanks to her immortality or simply raw talent. "I shall promise to never again attempt this soccer!" she swore, causing him to shake his head.

"No, no, no! There's no need to do that! You've definitely got talent in the sport; it would be a shame to not take advantage of that! They'll be fine, they've taken worse beatings than a soccer ball to the gut, I promise." He assured her. He wasn't lying either, but he hoped she wouldn't look too far into it, as her brother had caused a lot of said beatings to them. Senna smiled softly at the green eyed teen.

Kimiko smiled softly. "Well, I'm almost done with taking care of these two. What do you guys say we just go back to the tea room and work on that castle puzzle until dinner?" she suggested. The two lying on the floor groaned in agreement to the idea while the other two simply nodded. Kimiko helped Omi into the tea room while Dojo slowly slithered behind them. Senna was silent as the others began sorting out the puzzle pieces as they had yesterday evening. "Senna, are you alright? You haven't tried to find any corner pieces yet." The feminine monk asked in concern.

The amber eyed girl bit her lower lip as she avoided their eyes. "I am sorry, I simply feel as though I have been an inconvenience to you all. I took away two days of valuable training you could be doing in lieu of attending to me, and I have caused all of you at various times much pain. I am very sorry about all of this." She bowed low to the ground once more, her forehead touching the floor.

Raimundo swallowed thickly and shook his head frantically. "Senna I promise you aren't an inconvenience to us! You just aren't used to hanging out with kids your own age yet! It's normal to feel out of place, but you'll get used to us I promise!" he swore before smiling and ruffling her hair. "Besides, someone as cute as you could never be a bother to us!" he teased, the compliment solely used to cheer her up. It wasn't as though he really thought she was cute or anything like that.

Senna looked up with wide eyes and a prominent blush on her face. "You…..think of me as…cute?" she asked shyly, fiddling with her braid as she pulled herself into a sitting position, a soft smile on her face. Raimundo stiffened as warmth flooded his own face, stuttering slightly until Omi began to grin cheekily.

"Do not be so surprised, as I too find you rather cute!" he announced, causing the girl's blush to deepen further. Kimiko giggled as Senna tried to hide her face in her embarrassment.

"Oh I agree; she's adorable!" she added, much to the immortal's added mortification. They all laughed as she shouted out her discomfort at their praises, though the message was muffled by her hands still covering her face. It took a few minutes for them all to stop laughing and begin working on the puzzle, the atmosphere once again light and pleasant.

Kimiko sighed as she looked back and forth from her phone to the piece of paper in front of her. After dinner, she politely excused herself to her suite with the excuse that she was going to call her father about the latest advances in their newest game Goo Zombies 6. However, in reality, she was starting to copy down all of the instances that Senna had recalled something that she shouldn't have during her stay at the temple on the aforementioned paper. She was surprised by just how much the girl had recalled in the last two days. She wasn't going to seal the envelope until right before she returned Senna to her brother, just in case she remembered something else tonight or tomorrow morning.

She wondered how exactly she was going to give the envelope to Chase. Was she supposed to just hand it to him with Senna standing there? Should she give it to Senna beforehand and have her swear not to look at it? She sighed as she continued writing, not sure what to do about it. Well, Master Fung was rather strict about his rule that she not contact him alone (even though she had already broken that rule), so she supposed handing the note to Senna was her best bet. The latest memory update finished (as of now), she returned to the tea room, where she found everyone sitting in mediation, completely silent.

Normally, she would try to respect the fact that they were meditating, but she wanted to know what was going on. She cleared her throat to gather their attention and placed her hands on her hips when they all looked up at her. "Um hey, what gives with the meditation? I wasn't gone for that long." She pointed out with a pout.

Senna smiled sheepishly. "Forgive me Kimiko; the boys wished to try and practice telepathy a little more. Would you like to join us?" she offered, moving slightly to offer some space for the Japanese woman to sit next to her. Kimiko grinned as she took the offered seat and took her meditation pose. "We were trying to see if they could project once more now that they have rested, eaten, and experienced its difficulty already. Care to try as well, or would you rather stick to testing your hearing range?" she asked, as attending to the female monk as any teacher should be.

Kimiko shook her head. "I want to give sending messages another go as well." She decided. After all, the only thing that had held her back was her lack of mental stamina, which she hoped to fix by eating a lot of proven brain foods at dinner. Raimundo had noticed the types of food she had chosen and copied her. So far, it didn't look promising for him, but the results could be different for her.

Senna nodded in understanding. "Very well, do your best. Try to focus on my energy, and use whatever you can in your imagination to assist you in attempting a message." She instructed before returning to her position. The boys had already done so.

Kimiko took many deep breaths before attempting once more. Immediately she entered her mindscape, a swirling vortex of reds and pinks. Senna had told them all on their first lesson of telepathy that all mindscapes are unique, and have various colors that are meant to represent the individual. She had also shared that hers was a collection of whites and creams, and that when they were about to send a mental message, that they would be able to see the person's mental energy in order to speak to them. Idly, Kimiko wondered what Chase's mindscape colors were, but pushed the thoughts aside just as quickly. Now was not the time to think about her weird-not-crush on Chase. She had to focus.

It took her five minutes, but she finally was able to see past her own mindscape. She could faintly see three other mindscape colors. She assumed the clear bluish colored one was Raimundo, and the richer blue was Omi. She almost lost her focus when she found Senna's beautiful colored mental energy. The tricky part now was getting her thoughts to leave the comfort of her own mind and travel the short distance to Senna. Since Senna was sitting right next to her this time, she figured it would be easier to try and get the message out.

She recalled the time she saw Senna 'talk' to her brother. She had seemed completely relaxed, which gave Kimiko an idea. Instead of rigidly trying to push her thoughts out of her head, she relaxed her whole body while retaining focus, and allowed the thought to gently flow out of her mind and coaxed it towards Senna's white and cream colored energy.

Senna expected the same results as this morning, yet she was encouraging. It wasn't easy to learn telepathy, and even if they were the top of their class in strength, it meant little in regards to their grasp of the mystical arts, which she knew they were limited to only the Shen…something or other. So she was almost startled out of her stance when she heard a faint whisper. 'Senna, can you hear me?' called out a feminine voice. She vocally gasped when she realized that Kimiko had finally done it, breaking everyone out of their stances. She opened her eyes to see three pairs of concerned ones looking back at her.

She smiled brightly. "Kimiko, I could just barely hear your voice. I congratulate you; you have successfully used telepathy!" she announced. The two girls squealed and hugged one another in glee while the boys looked a little dejected, having hoped to send out a message first as they had been working on it long before Kimiko entered the room. Still, they were happy for their teammate, so they congratulated her when she pulled away from the immortal. Senna looked at the other two. "Omi, I believe you are getting close, I hear something akin to shouting from far away. Please try to lower your mental voice. I would like to avoid another headache. As for you Raimundo, try to keep your mind focused on the message alone. Clear your head of all distractions. I sensed a lot of energy from your direction, but it lacked stability and therefore a message will not be made clear." She instructed.

The boys huffed but attempted to listen to her criticism. After about an hour, all three of them were able to begin to send messages to Senna, and even to one another, with effort. Well, Kimiko started talking back and forth with Senna silently, as she quickly got the hang of using the mental magic. While the boys were still trying to send a message, she learned that she was able to hear Senna's voice from completely across the temple, and was able to send messages from as far as the garden. Raimundo could likely hear from farther when he tested his own distance, but as the sun was set, they decided to try it again tomorrow morning. The sleeping arrangements continued as they did the night before, with Senna sleeping with Kimiko, and Raimundo secretly wishing that she shared his bed instead.

*Day Two*

Breakfast was a somber occasion, as the monks knew it was almost time for Senna to head home. She hadn't received a message from her brother yet, though she warned them that she expected one by noon. So, in order to kill time until then, she offered to test everyone's mental distance once again. As Kimiko had already figured out her personal distance, she was content with watching how the boys fared.

Raimundo had the strongest hearing range of them all; he had ended up needing to call Kimiko's cellphone in order to finally tell them he couldn't hear Senna. As far as distance went, Senna could reach Raimundo from over 500 feet away. Yet his 'sending range' as Senna had put it was weaker than Kimiko's. He couldn't leave the tea room and comfortably send a message, which was very off putting for the Shoku leader.

Surprisingly, Omi was the one with the strongest sending range, though Senna chalked that up to his rather unfortunate habit of yelling loudly within his mind. He was able to communicate from nearly across the temple. Senna had not been amused that he had the furthest range given the massive headache she suffered during his test. The elder monks felt sorry for the immortal, as they knew Omi would likely never stop shouting in his mind. His range of hearing, however, was still the weakest of them all. She told them all that all they needed to do to strengthen their respective weaknesses was to practice every day that they could.

Master Fung had been made aware of Senna's teachings courtesy of Dojo, and happily allowed them two hours of the day towards their mental training. One hour in the morning for sending messages, and one hour in the afternoon for receiving them. He had admitted that he was hoping to have them trained in the mystical skill when they were older, but nonetheless was proud that they showed so much progress after only one day. He announced that he was going to give Clay private tutoring in the skill until he had reached his fellow teammate's level.

It was not long after he gave this announcement that Senna suddenly froze and immediately went into a sitting position with her eyes closed and her expression blank. The boys of the group panicked. "Whoa, what happened to Senna?" Raimundo asked in fear, nervous that somehow she was hurt right before she was to return to her brother. Omi had almost offered to get the Orb of Tornami to bring her out of the trance before Kimiko rolled her eyes at her companions.

"Relax you morons. She's not hurt she's just talking to her brother via the technique she's been teaching us for the past two days." She remarked flatly. At the quizzical looks she received she rolled her eyes again. "Think about it, who else would she be talking to? Wuya?" she asked in a deadpan tone. They flushed and looked away, much to her relief. Lucky for her, she wasn't sure she wanted to hear their opinion of her entering the citadel again to help decorate Senna's room. After all, that was the reason she saw Senna speak to her brother using telepathy.

The Dragon of Fire was spared from worrying more about the subject when Senna opened her eyes a few moments later. "That was my brother. He said to meet at the same spot in one hour!" she exclaimed happily, but stopped at their disappointed faces. "I am sorry, I did not mean to sound eager to leave your temple." She bit her lip, feeling a little guilty.

Kimiko shook her head. "No, no, it isn't that. We just thought we'd have a little more time. It's almost lunch, and then right after that we'd have to take you back down to the meeting point." She explained. Senna relaxed and tucked her longest bang behind her ear, only for it to fall back into place anyway.

"That is certainly a relief. Although, I hope you are all aware that Kimiko is the only one he requested to bring me back to the meeting place." She revealed. At the male monks' unease she giggled. "Ah do not be worried. I am certain it is only because my big brother is a big flirt!" she teased, much to everyone's horror.

Kimiko swallowed thickly, wondering if this this must be something she add into the letter and hastily added it to her phone just in case without making it obvious (typing behind her back had become second nature in grade school). She forced a bright smile. "Well, that's really…sweet of him…..I guess. Why don't we go pack up some of your stuff since you'll need to leave earlier than we thought?" she suggest to hastily change the subject. The oblivious girl happily okayed the idea and the four of them heading towards the tea room, two of whom tried desperately to get the idea of Chase flirting out of their heads, while another recalled all the times she indeed was flirted upon by said warlord.

After lunch, Senna asked to change her clothes into something more comfortable for walking in a cave, as she was wearing an elegant blouse and skirt. So, Kimiko brought her into her suite in order to change, and slyly finished up her recordings while the girl changed into a pair of green leggings and a gold and green tunic, her hair pulled into a high ponytail. Unfortunately, she was not sly enough.

"Ne, Kimiko, what is it you are writing? Might I see?" the immortal asked kindly as she put the finishing touches on her hair. The other girl paled and shook her head frantically.

"Uh, no, please don't! I'm uh….writing a letter! And I'm a little shy about letting others see what I'm writing!" she hastily explained as she shoved the paper into an envelope. Well, she wasn't lying about writing a letter at the very least. With great relief Senna obliged, and all seemed well for the time being. The amber eyed immortal left with the blue eyed monk after many heartfelt exchanges from the rest of the Temple, including a goodbye from a teary eyed Dojo.

The girls walked down the hidden cave in silence for only two minutes. "Here Senna, this letter…..well…..it's for your brother. Please don't peak at it." She begged, a slight flush to her normally porcelain skin. Senna noticed the strange behavior from her new friend with wide eyes and smiled softly.

"You need not worry; I am one to honor my promises, especially for a friend." She remarked sweetly. "So, when do you think that we will be able to organize my new room? Chase showed me an image of what it looks like. It appears to be very large." She remarked casually, letting go of the subject with ease.

Kimiko sighed happily and shrugged. "I'm not sure. I guess that's also up for your brother to decide. But in the meantime, we can make the process easier by figuring out what you want. First and foremost, what's your favorite color?" she asked with a gentle smile.

Senna hummed for a few moments. "Well, I suppose I have three colors in particular that I am fond of. The first of which is a warm white color, if that is something you can make sense of. The second is any shade of green, and the third would be gold. Might I ask what is yours?" she asked back.

Kimiko thought carefully about her answers. The greens and golds would be easy enough to find for decorations, but a warm white? That could be anywhere from ivory white, linen white, pearl white, and just about another dozen more. She'd need to do a little more research on warm white colors. The Japanese woman shook herself out of thought and pursed her lips in thought. "Well, if I had to choose just between two colors, I'd have to say shades of red and black. They look really elegant in a bedroom." Not to mention rather seductive, but she wasn't going to admit that part to Senna.

Senna giggled. "I can attest to this, as that is what dàgē's bedroom color scheme is." She cheerfully pointed out, missing the look of shock on Kimiko's face. The immortal wouldn't catch it either, as the other girl quickly schooled her expression into one of feigned interest.

Kimiko swallowed and let out an almost realistic chuckle. "Sounds like his kind of style." She managed out. She sighed in relief when she saw the tunnel's route come to an end near the stairs. "Well, I guess your brother will either be here already or will be in a few minutes. You want to wait in here just in case?" she asked, knowing Chase would be furious if Senna was left out in the open for people like Wuya or Hannibal to discover her.

The girl shook her head. "He's here. I can tell." She smiled brightly. Kimiko quirked an eyebrow in curiosity at her confidence, but complied, pushing aside the heavy boulders to let Senna and herself out. Sure enough, Chase was there, just as his sister had promised. "Dàgē!" the younger immortal cried out with a beam and ran straight into his awaiting arms.

The Heylin Prince chuckled softly as she returned his hug with earnest. "It appears you had an enjoyable time at the Temple." He muttered softly, before looking up to the female monk, who was trying not to seem nosy. "Dragon of Fire," he drawled, the girl's head snapping up at the mention of her title. "Have you not something for me?" he asked cryptically.

Kimiko blinked slowly before realizing what he was asking for and nodding. "One thing is with Senna, and the other," she sighed and pulled Senna's shrunken trunk out of her pocket, along with a familiar Shen Gong Wu. "Changing Chopsticks!" she called out, flinging the trunk into the air before it returned to full size.

Chase caught the trunk midair, his arm not moving despite the weight of the full sized wardrobe case. He smirked in satisfaction when his sister obediently handed him the letter, tucking it into one of his hidden compartments on his armor. "Very well, I shall endeavor to read it as soon as possible. Senna, if you would like to say goodbye, do so now." He suggested curtly, turning slightly to give the girls a little privacy, just as Kimiko had when Senna was dropped off two days ago.

The girls wasted no time, and crushed each other in a tight hug. "I hope to see you again soon Kimiko." Senna remarked thickly. Kimiko could only nod in agreement, not trusting herself lest she cry in front of her sworn enemy. They pulled away slowly, Senna giving a watery smile before returning to her brother's side, who had remained impassive during their embrace. "Have a wonderful day Kimiko." She managed out with a small bow. Kimiko just barely returned the bow before Chase teleported himself and his sister back to the Land of Nowhere. With a sigh, the female monk headed back to the temple, prepping herself to get back to doing chores and training.

AWTG: I am SO SORRY this took so long to get out, but to be fair; it's a really long chapter! I will try to get another one out before the end of the year but please bear with me. Thank you so much for keeping up with this story thus far!
