I'm super late on updating and I yet again apologize for that. Anyways, here is your Masato x Haruka chapter. ~
The sun rose within time and its light peeked through Haruka's curtains. With a small yawn, she got up and pulled back her curtains, letting all the beautiful sunlight into her small room. A smile fell upon her face at the feel of the warmth the rays produced. Haruka looked over at her clock and noticed school didn't start for another hour or so and she had time to kill.
Her first mission was to take a shower though. She felt gross after not showering for a day or two and really wanted to feel the hot water rush over her porcelain skin. Without a second thought, she headed for her bathroom and prepared for the day ahead of her.
By the time she was dressed and ready, it was about 6:20 in the morning and she still had 50 minutes until the first bell rang. Knowing the boys, most of them wouldn't be awake for the next 10 or 15 minutes so she decided to go to the kitchen where she knew Masato was up and cooking. He was always the first of the 7 boys to wake up.
She quietly made her way down the long staircase and headed straight for the kitchen.
"Good morning, Hijirikawa-san!" Haruka greeted him happily.
"Morning, Nanami-san." He greeted back with little emotion beings that he was focused on cooking.
Silence filled the air awkwardly and Haruka sat on the stool silently minding her own business. She gazed off and looked at everything in the room, hoping it would take her mind off of the awkwardness she felt. Maybe he felt it too?
"Nanami-san could we maybe talk after school, just you and I? I just wanted to ask a few things is all." Masato's voice filled the silent morning air and Haruka felt a little bit of relief wash over her.
"Of course, Hijirikawa-san." She calmly replied as she watched him pour more pancake batter into the pan.
"Please, call me Masato."
"A-alright, but all I ask in return is that you call me Haruka."
"Fair enough, Haruka." Her name rolled off his tongue so smoothly it gave her goosebumps up and down her arms and all at the same time it gave her a rush of excitement. She preferred to be called by her first name, but was always too shy or nervous to ask people to do so.
"Thanks, Masato." Haruka replied as he placed the first set of pancakes in front of her. As he layed the plate on the countertop, she noticed a small smile and blush upon his loving face. She couldn't help but smile in return which made his heart beat just a little faster than normal.
About 10 minutes later, Haruka finished her breakfast and the rest of the boys woke up and headed downstairs into the kitchen. Each boy was dressed and ready to go, but still looked tired due to waking up so damn early.
Just as they entered the kitchen, Haruka was leaving and going back upstairs to get her book bag.
"Morning boys!" Haruka greeted happily as she rushed past them and up the stairs to her bedroom.
"Good morning to you too...?" Ren replied to the person no longer there.
"What's got her in such a good mood?" Tokiya questioned to no one in particular.
"Who knows?" Said a very tired Cecil.
The boys just shrugged it off and went about their business in the kitchen to get breakfast.
In all honestly, Haruka was happy because Masato wasn't upset with her, well from what she knew, and that they were on a first name bases too. Not to mention his pancakes could put anyone in a good mood because they tasted amazing.
Haruka felt like today might actually go well, all she had to do was get through the toughest obstacle yet; Risa. Poor Haruka could only hope that things would go well today. She had enough of being stressed and she wanted to feel free and open. The said girl didn't like hiding things from her closest friends, and she wanted to be able to spend much more time with them without feeling like someone was going kill her in the end.
Shaking her head, she came back to reality and tried to focus on the good instead of the bad. 'Today is going to be a good day and I know it!' Haruka thought to herself. Nothing was going to bring down her mood at this point, not even Risa.
After searching her room, she finally found her book bag and checked herself in the mirror just one last time. As she stared at her reflection, she saw fresh tears roll from her honey eyes as she sadly smiled. Why was she crying? Wasn't she over this whole Risa thing?
In all honesty, seeing Haruka like this was a heartbreaking site. She could only think about how glad she was that the guys weren't here to see her like this...
Wiping her eyes with her sleeve, she pulled herself together, grabbed her book bag, and made her way back down the stairs to where STARISH was waiting for her. They noticed her as she made her way down, but that happy glow she had earlier seemed to have disappeared. Of course, this sparked a bit of worry in our 7 princes. Nevertheless, Haruka plastered a smile on her face to reassure the men that she was absolutely fine.
~ Time Skip to School ~
Finally arriving at school, they headed to the front door and were getting ready to enter, but noticed Haruka wasn't next to them. She was still standing in her place by the gate staring blankly at the bright blue sky above her. She wasn't ready for this after all it seemed.
Still trapped in her thoughts, she didn't even realize that a certain blue headed man had walked over and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Haruka...?" He gently called her name but got no response. "Haruka!" He tried once more. This slightly got her attention as her turned to look at him. She blinked a few times and came back to reality as she gave him a small smile.
"Looks like a spaced out a bit... I'm sorry for worrying you, Masato. I'm still a little scared to be honest..." Haruka spoke gently with eyes that swirled with worry and fear.
In response, Masato only hugged her small figure and stroked her hair with one of his hands. He could feel her fragile figure shake softly against his chest.
"I know how scared you are, but please realize that I am here for you along with the others. I- we won't let anything bad happen to you. We promise. All you have to do is trust us, okay, Haruka?"
"Yeah... thank you so much, Masato. I'll really try my best to pull myself together this time." She said has she pulled away from his warm embrace. "Shall we go? I feel bad for making everyone wait."
"Sure." He was a little sad that his embrace with Haruka ended so quickly, but he knew he'd have another chance later.
The two walked towards the door and joined up with the others. The first bell rang and they headed to home room together. As they walked, they placed Haruka in the middle with Syo, Ren and Masato behind them, Natsuki to the left and Cecil to the right, and finally Tokiya and Otoya in the front. The boys made sure to ensure Haruka's safety and keep her away from Risa. Of course, they didn't fear Risa like Haruka did.
The entire walk down the halls to homeroom, they never once encountered Risa or her groupie of friends. This spiked Haruka's curiosity beings that Risa almost never missed school for anything... By the end of the school day, Risa hadn't shown her face once and relief washed through the pink headed girl.
~Time Skip to the Dorm Rooms~
Everyone had made their way through the main doors to the dorm and decided to go to their rooms to grab a change of clothes and maybe a shower. Well, everyone except Masato and Haruka.
"You wanted to talk to me after school, correct?" Haruka said filling the calm air with her lovely voice.
"Correct. Walk with me for a little bit, please?" He asked her with such a calm voice.
"Sure, where did you have in mind?"
"Just a special place of mine... shall we head out before it gets too late?"
"Oh, yes!" Haruka smiled at him with that loving smile she has and his heart sped up at such a beautiful sight.
Masato held out his hand and she placed her small fragile one within his larger and warm ones. The two held hands as they walked out the door of the dorms to Masato's so-called special place.
The journey wasn't long and a comfortable silence filled the air as the two walked hand in hand. Masato was blushing most the time and Haruka only softly laughed to herself as she occasionally looked over to see his face. Of course, he was too lost in thought to notice that she knew about his blushing...
Soon enough, they arrived at Masato's secret place. His secret place was the hidden beach a little ways down from the dorm rooms. When Haruka looked out into the distance, the sun shone gorgeously across the ocean water and the sky was changing from blue to a pinkish purple, lighting up the few clouds that floated in the distant sky. It was an amazing view and all the colors seemed to perfectly mix together.
"This is beautiful, Masato!" She exclaimed as she continued to look out at the sea of blue.
"I've seen even more beautiful things..." Masato trailed off. Luckily Haruka hadn't of heard him, otherwise he'd just be even more embarrassed.
"Oh, before I forget, what did you want to talk about?" She asked, still facing away from him while tucking a strand of pink hair behind her ear.
"Risa... but I'm sure you already knew that..." He said as he watched her take off her shoes and sit in the sand. She sat close enough to the water to be able to let her toes play in the waves that washed upon the golden shore.
"Yeah, I figured as much..." She sighed.
"Why didn't you at least tell one of us the first time it happened?" He asked gently, sitting next to her.
"I was scared and I didn't know what all of you would think at the time it began. Ah, but thinking about it now, I feel silly. I don't know why I was so worried that you guys would turn your backs on me..." She took a deep breath and continued, "I'm sorry for keeping it to myself for so long. I just didn't know any better, you know?"
A silence filled the air once more and only the sound of the ocean crashing to shore carried through. Masato and Haruka stared off into distance, watching the sun sink below the horizon.
"I should be the one apologizing. I never once noticed the hurt you felt and I should have known better. I suppose I was caught up with our next big concert like the others." He said while still looking out to the horizon, "All this disaster could have ended sooner if one of us had just stepped in and noticed how off things were."
Haruka looked over at the blue haired man and noticed all the sadness that filled his eyes as he stared off into the distance. Wanting to comfort him, Haruka sat behind him and hugged him from behind. She wrapped her arms around his torso and felt him cover her arms with his own.
"You've done nothing wrong, so please don't apologize. I should have said something sooner. It's my fault." Haruka said quitely enough just for him to hear.
Masato embraced the moment a little longer before unwrapping her arms from around him. He then stood up and looked at her, offering her a hand to help her up. Haruka happily accepted the offer and held tightly to his hand. After she finished putting her shoes back on, he spoke again.
"Don't say its your fault, you are the victim, Haruka. This will be over soon though, I promise. I will do everything I can to help you through this."
"Thank you." It was the only thing Haruka could choke out. She felt like crying again and she knew that crying wouldn't get her anywhere though. So she toughed it out. "Shall we head back now?" She asked.
"Yeah, but can we walk just a little slower this time?"
"Of course." Haruka replied with a smile.
The two ended up walking back to the dorms much slower. He just wanted to walk with her and enjoy her presence a little longer before she was no longer his. Haruka was someone very precious to all the men and he knew that. What he didn't know was that she had already been claimed by a certain blond, blue eyed member...
Xx I swear I will get so much better at updating! I am so sorry for updating this so late! I hope you all can forgive me! xX
