Robin let out a big yawn as the Shepherds were preparing to march out to Regna Ferox. Because of that dream, she couldn't fall asleep without catching glimpses of those events, which burned into her mind. She let out another yawn when someone tapped on her shoulder. She turned around to see Sumia, whose eyes were filled with worry.

"Oh, good morning, Sumia." Robin said with a weary smile.

"Ah, Robin...about yesterday..." Sumia frantically bowed her head up and down towards the tactician.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to fall asleep on you...it was very selfish of me to do that." Robin shook her head and took Sumia's hands, lifting the pegasus knight up from her bow.

"It wasn't your fault, Sumia. I was the one who asked you go back to sleep."

"But..."

"I am all right now, thank you for worrying about me." Robin smiled at her once again.

"It's nice to know that someone's worried about me, despite my situation."

That's because you don't seem like a bad person!" Sumia exclaimed.

"I mean, you just lost your memories and it must be difficult to adjust this new life...So I worry about you."

"That's good to know. Let's go check on the others, Sumia!"

"Ah, yes!" Both girls left together, unaware that a certain someone had just eavesdrop on their conversation. After the girls left, Chrom came out of his hiding place from behind a large maple tree near the barracks. He went to the barracks without Frederick that morning when he noticed Sumia frantically bowing to Robin. He hid himself and listens in on their conversation. He could hear the kindness and concern in Robin's voice. Now he felt conflicted at the fact he suspected Robin, not even able to fully trust her.

"Still conflicted, Milord?" Chrom nearly jumped out of his skin as he turned to see Frederick behind him.

"What the-, Frederick, what did you get here?!" Chrom yelled.

"Milord should know I don't stray very far from your presence. Besides, I believe you were conflicted about something." stated Frederick. Chrom clenched a fist as he turned around from Frederick.

"It's...nothing."

"If you say so, Milord." The young lord walked towards the barracks, with his Great knight following behind him. Later on that morning, with everything prepared and the army ready, Chrom and Frederick stood before the Shepherds that gather in front of them.

"Is everyone ready?" Chrom asked.

"We have a long march ahead."

"H-hey, stop! W-wait for me!" someone shouted, panicking. Robin saw a tall and lean man who wore green armor, similar to Sully. His olive brown hair was untamed and unkempt with strands sticking out in various directions. He run towards the group and stopped in front of Chrom.

"Stahl?" Chorm said as the green knight stopped in front of him.

"Why am I...the last one...to hear about...this trip to Ferox?" Stahl questioned in between breaths.

"Huh, but Vaike was supposed to..." Lissa started before turning her head to Vaike who stood close to her.

"Vaike, did you forget to tell Stahl about the mission?!" she stated, sternly.

"The Vaike never forgets...I just didn't remember…that's all..." Vaike muttered.

"I swear, you would forget your own name if you didn't constantly keep reminding yourself! By the way, did you remember to bring your axe this time? Or are we in for another repeat of what happened last time?"

"Hey, that was only once-no, twice times the Vaike forgotten. Beside training sessions does not count, we are off facing the real deal now!" As Vaike and Lissa started arguing back and forth, Robin turned to Stahl.

"Your name is Stahl, right?" Robin asked the green knight.

"Oh, that's right. I forget to introduce you to the other Shepherds." Chrom said

"This is Stahl, one of our finest knights. Stahl, this is Robin, our new tactician."

"Oh, you must be the new recruit Miriel was talking about." Stahl said to Robin.

"Ah, yes, but who is this "Miriel"? I don't recall ever meeting her."

"Oh, she's a mage and another Shepherd; she's coming to join us later after we start marching." Then Vaike throw an arm around the back of Stahl's neck, making the knight bend down a little and ignore Lissa who was still yelling at him.

"Good to have you on board, Stahl old buddy, old pal!" Vaike said, blocking out Lissa.

"That makes one of us. I was in such a rush that I missed breakfast and they were serving pies, cakes, muffins..." Stahl lets out a big sigh.

"...I guess I will complaint about it as we march."

"Uh, actually." Robin said, digging into her pocket. She pulled a small burden, wrapped in a handkerchief. As she undoes the knot, the content inside the handkerchief were a blueberry muffin, a plain scone and a mini teacake. She held out the food to Stahl.

"I am sorry, it's not much. But you can have it if you want to."

"Oh, thank you!" said Stahl as he gratefully took the food from her. He picks up the blueberry muffin and took a big bite out of it.

"That was very of nice of you." he said with his mouth full.

"No problem" she said as a smile graced her face. Chrom smirked as he looks at his new tactician.

*Up the North Road*

Late, in the morning, the Shepherds were traveling on the Northroad. Lissa was dragging her feet as she look at Frederick, Sully and Stahl, who were on horseback enviously.

"I wish I could ride on a horse, walking is so tiring." Lissa complained.

"It's not so bad, Lissa." Robin reassured her. Then Lissa caught a glance on something gold hanging around Robin's neck.

"Hey, you are wearing your locket!" She pointed out at the golden locket. Robin places a hand on the locket.

"It's very important so I don't want to lose it again."

"Was there a picture of your mother inside?" Robin shook her head. She remember the excitement of finally have a piece of her past in her hand, only to be disappoint to find both slots in the locket empty.

"Oh, that's too bad..." Lissa said softly.

"But, I know now that I had a very loving mother. Her locket is the proof of that love." Robin responded. The young princess smiled slightly.

"You're very lucky, Robin to remember your mother. I never knew my mother."

"Oh my-, I'm so sorry-!" Then a sudden migraine came over her as she stopped in her tracks and placed both hands at the sides of her head, to fight the pressure on her brain. With her eyes shut tight, a series of unfamiliar scenes starting playing in her mind like a self-operating movie. She saw those zombie-like warriors appear, this time with more of their sinister-looking counterparts. Chrom noticed what was happening to Robin and rush over to check on her.

"What's wrong with Robin?" Chrom questioned.

"I don't know!" Lissa answered, panicking. After the migraine subsided, Robin was shook up very badly What startled her so badly was not the zombie soldiers, but the images of some of the Shepherds, people she encountered and starting to know, wounded or worse, flashing in her mind.

"No...I will not let that happen." she thought.

"I will make sure everyone will make it out of here."

"Robin?" She saw Lissa and Chrom looking at her with concerned eyes.

"Chrom, get the troops ready, we have a serious battle ahead of us!" she exclaimed.

"What do you mean?" Chrom asked.

"I will explain later, please trust me on this!" Her hazel eyes bore into his deep blue eyes, he could see strong resolve in her eyes. He knows that she wasn't lying.

"All right, I trust you." he said.

"Shepherds to arms!" Just as Robin expected, a band of Risen appeared and block the road, stopping the Shepherds in their tracks.

"Risen, damn, they made it this far from the forest?!" Chrom shouted.

"Risen?" asked Robin.

"The war council decides to give this new threat a name, but how you could possibly predicted that Risen would be blocking our path, Robin?" Frederick stated.

"I promise I will explain it later, but right now, we need to deal with these Risen."

"I assume you have a plan, Robin?"

"It's a last-minute plan, but it will guarantee to keep everyone safe."

"Mha, ha they'll remember me once I drive trusty axe into-" Vaike boasted, only grasp at nothing in his hand.

"My axe! Where did it go?!" He started frantically looking for his missing iron axe.

"This isn't the time for games, Vaike!" Chrom stated.

"I'm serious this time, my axe is gone! How did I lose it this quickly?!"

"Vaike, stay in the back. We will take the battle from here." Sully and Stahl charge at the Risen with Frederick rushing in between them. Armed with iron lances, they manage to fend off most of the attacking Risen. Virion took out arrows from his quiver and fit onto his bow, pulling back the drawstring and release arrow after arrow upon incoming Risen. Swords clashes as Chrom and Robin was facing two Risen soldiers while protecting both Lissa and Vaike. Chrom manages to push back his opponent, sliced through the Risen's mid-section with Falchion and watch as the Risen turn into a plume of black mist. Robin plunged her bronze sword into the other Risen's shoulder and pulling it out. She quickly jumped back and switched over to her thunder tome. Magic circles and symbols surrounded her as lightning flew out of the magic circle and stuck down the Risen, turning into black mist. Seeing everyone fighting without him, Vaike grew frustrated that he couldn't join the battle.

"This sucks, The Vaike shouldn't be sitting on the sidelines where a battle is going on!" he complained. Lissa just finished healing Chrom's wounds with her heal staff before turning her attention to Vaike.

"Well, it was your fault for losing your axe in the first place." Lissa remained him.

"I know, even you're more useful than the Vaike 'cause you can still heal." he added. Then Lissa notice something happening off in the distance. Suddenly, Lissa bolted off and heading right towards Stahl. Vaike tried to grab her arm, but he missed.

"No, Lissa!" Vaike called out. He knew that the battlefield still dangerous, especially for a defenseless Lissa.

"Dammit, if only I had my axe-" Then his axe dropped down in front of him.

"I presume this is your axe." He saw a red-headed mage standing before him, pushing up her glasses.

"Shall I find a way to affix it to your hand permanently?"

"Miriel, boy, am I glad to see you!" Vaike pick up his iron axe.

"But we're going have to save the chit-chat for later, right now, we have help Lissa."

"Oh, if I must." she said. Both of them run to join Lissa. Stahl, barely carrying his lance with his wounded arm and holding the reins tightly, maneuver his horse out of the way of a Risen's axe.

"Boy, this is a fine mess I got myself into." Stahl thought.

"But I cannot give up."

"Stahl!" He saw Lissa running towards him, with staff in hand.

"Lissa?!" he exclaimed as the young princess stopped next to him. She held up her staff, shining green light down on Stahl and healing his wound on his arm.

"Thanks!" he said until he notices an incoming Risen heading towards Lissa.

"Look out!" Stahl pulled his horse in front of Lissa, in order to shield her from the attack. A fireball hit the back of the Risen, shifting the Risen's attention to Miriel who held a fire tome and aimed another fireball at it. Then Vaike slash his axe across the brunt Risen's body, killing the Risen who turn into black mist.

"All right, ol' Tech is back in business!" he happily declared.

"Get ready, Risen, school's in session!" He ran off to attack even more Risen, both Lissa and Miriel sighed.

"I go make sure he doesn't get hurt." Lissa said, chasing after him.

"And I believe we are need on the battlefield." Miriel stated, turning to Stahl.

"There let's head back into the fray." replied Stahl. Robin watched as the party separated into two, one heading towards Sully and Virion and the other aiding Frederick.

"Just as planned..." she thought. After most of the Risens in the area, everyone regrouped to face off against the Risen chief and remaining two Risen soldiers who were blocking the bridge. The Risen chief let loose a monstrous roar, causing Virion to squeal like a scary little girl and jumped into Frederick's arms.

"Ah, Virion?" Frederick said.

"Oh, sorry, Frederick. I hope you don't mind if I polish your armor before this battle." Virion said, taking out a handkerchief and wipe Frederick's armor. Frederick immediately let go of him who fell with a loud thud.

"Frederick and Virion, take care of the Risen on the right. Stahl and Sully take on the other. The rest of us will take on the Chief!" Robin replied. Following her plan, Frederick and Virion attack with one of the Risen soldier while Sully and Stahl dealt with the other. Miriel launched another fireball at the Chief Risen's head, followed by Vaike's incoming swing of his axe. Lissa used her staff to heal Chrom's injury that was inflicted on his arm from earlier. Thunder shot out and hit the Chief Risen in the chest. It turn it's attention to Robin, who held her thunder tome, and immediately charged towards her. As it swing it's axe at her, Robin jump back, thinking she had dodge it until she felt the sharp edge slicing her arm. Then the Risen swatted her back with it's huge fist, knocking the thunder tome out of her hands. She skidded a few feet away, holding onto her wounded arm as blood blossomed on the sleeve of her cloak. With her thunder tome missing, she stood up and took out her bronze sword, compressing her wound. Barely holding onto her sword, she watches as the Chief Risen charge at her once again. Before it strike down on her, a blade pierced through it's abdomen. The Risen turned it's head a full 180 degree to see Chrom as he pulled out his Falchion from it's body. The Risen collapses and disintegrated into black mist.

"Robin, are you alright?" he asked, checking on her. He noticed the darken blood stain on her cloak.

"You're hurt..."

"Yeah, a miscalculation on my part." she said, wincing in pain. He reached into his pouch and pull out a vulnerary. He carefully slides back the sleeve to reveal a nasty gash on her arm. He tipped the bottle, pouring green tonic onto the wound. The wound started closing instantly before her eyes. Then he handed the bottle to her.

"Drink this; it will make you feel better." She took the vulnerary and drinks some of the content. The taste was slightly bitter, but rather refreshing. Energy spread thoughtout her body as she got up to her feet.

"Thanks, Chrom." she said.

"No, I should be the one thanking you. Your plan saved lives, quite impressive for your first major battle."

"Just doing what I can." In that moment, Chrom felt a weight lifted off his shoulders. With the battle over, the Shepherds moved their way to Regna Ferox.
