Hello I am so sorry that it took me so long to update this story, my laptop had broke so it was very difficult for me. I do have a new one now so I will be updating a lot more often when school doesn't take up my time. I am so happy with the feedback I am getting with this story I am so glad that you enjoy it and I hope you continue to follow me and enjoy the chapters to come.
A soft knock was heard at my bedroom door and I groaned displeased that I was being woken up by my grandmother, "Get up Bella it's time to go to the high school and get you situated." I grab the extra pillow on the side of me and place it over my head giving out a scream I wasn't ready for school yet I was still sulking over what had happened to Charlie my father or who I thought to be my father for the past seventeen years of my life. I heard my grandmother once again, "Isabella I don't like asking twice." Throwing the pillow off my head I shot up, "Alright I am getting ready."
Looking throw my boxes I pulled out what ever was on top I wasn't feeling like dressing up today though since the accident my entire mood has changed I've felt angry and a few times I caught myself snapping at grandma who just took it in she said it was considered as my way of mourning my father. Which I guess you could say was partly true, the other part was that I just felt rage but I wouldn't tell her that I am sure she would seek therapy for me. I placed my clothes on the bed then walked over to the bathroom to shower, I spent half the time in there crying my eyes out since it was the only place I felt privacy lately. Another pound on the door alerted me that I should hurry before she would come in and dress me herself.
Right when she had come into my room I was finishing tying my shoes, "Is this how it's going to be every morning Bella?" I shook my head lightly at her words and looked down, "No grandma it wont I just needed sometime before I start school its only been a few days." Her hand moved onto my arm and rubbed it lightly, "Your dad wouldn't want you to sulk in your room all day and night you know he would want you to have a life and be happy." I closed my eyes fighting the tears that would surely fall from my eyes shaking my head, "Its easier said than done grandma." I sighed replying to her comment and walked past her to grab my school bag and walked out of my bedroom door.
I had to walk to school since my grandmother didn't have a car and as I walked up to the school I crossed the parking lot my eyes catching a blue car the man I had seen that day I was released from the hospital was driving off. Tilting my head to the side I stared at him memory coming back of him being in the hospital room with me, there was just something odd about him. He didn't look like any doctor to me so why would he be in my room? This question would remain in my head until I found out the answer, when I watched him finally leave the area I turned back to the school and through the front entrance my eyes locked on the office sign that was a few steps in front of me.
Walking up to the desk I spoke in a soft tone, "Hi my name is Isabella Swan I am a transfer student from Forks High School." The older woman got off the roller chair and walked to the Principles office that was in the back, the man stepped out holding a folder with my name on it and stepped out from behind the desk top holding his hand out for me to shake. Looking up at him I raised both eyebrows and shook his hand back, "Miss Swan I just want to give you my apologizes about your father such a horrible accident. Know that my office and also the school counselors office is always open to you whenever you wish to talk." He pulled his hand away and opened the manila folder pulling out a white sheet of paper handing it over to me, " We set up your classes just like you had back in Forks so there's really no big change. And I see here that you were apart of the cheerleading team? The tryouts are after school in the football field, Caroline Forbes is the one you want to see for that. If you want I can take you after your class?"
Taking a deep breath I thought about how happy I was when I was on the team and maybe that would be a good way to get my mind off of what happened to Charlie and to also make new friends. Looking down at my schedule I nodded my head quickly and pushed back the loose strands of hair behind my ear, "Actually yes that sounds great I would really like to get back into cheerleading." The principle smiled and walked to the door pushing it open, "Alright let me take you to your first class so you're not late on your first day." I nodded and walked out of the office into the hall students were already making their way to their first classes and I followed close behind him. Eyes watching me with every step I took down the hall until finally we stopped in front of the classroom the door open the Principle walked in first then I did, the man at the desk got up from the chair, "Hello ," the principle spoke in a stern voice. "This is our new student Isabella Swan lets make her feel welcomed." with that said he walked out of the classroom.
Mr. Saltzman took the schedule from me and signed the paper so that the office could see that I showed up to all my classes on the first day, "Nice to meet you Isabella," clearing my throat I corrected him quickly. "Bella please," he handed me the paper and I took it folding it up and placed it in my pocket. "Alright Bella," The bell rang and the last few of students in the class ran inside taking there seats, Mr. Saltzman walked to the front of his desk and sat on the edge, "Class we have a new student with us lets all be nice to her and let her introduce herself." He looked over at me and I stepped up in front of him, "My name is Bella Swan I came from Forks, Washington. I know big difference but my mother grow up here and I came to take care of my grandmother because she's really sick…umm… I like cheerleading and music… I guess that's it." Mr. Saltzman clapped and pointed her to the empty seat that was the second to the last row in the back.
I took my seat sliding my backpack off my shoulder and onto the floor looking straight ahead until a finger poked my arm gently, I turned my head to be faced with long brunette hair and a big smile on her face. "Hi Bella it's great to have you hear in Mystic Falls." I smiled warmly to her trying not to be rude to her friendliness, "Thanks…" I mumbled and she continued to talk pointing to the girl in front of her who was also staring at me, "That is best friend Bonnie Bennett, and right here behind me," she leaned back revealing a brooding looking boy with blondish brown hair with bright green eyes, "That's my boyfriend Stefan Salvatore… and I am Elena Gilbert."
