Dreams
Chapter 7
Harry slowly became aware of his surroundings, though he kept his eyes closed for the moment. His head and face hurt horrendously and he felt like someone had kicked him in the face.
Then in startling clarity, he remembered Ron punching him, falling to the floor and then getting kicked in the face.
His eyes sprang open and he looked around, ready to try and defend himself. What he saw confused the hell out of him.
He was laying in what was obviously the Gryffindor common room, on the floor by one of the couches in front of the fireplace. Hermione was leaning over him, a concerned look on her face.
Over her shoulder he could see Ron and Ginny, both with equally concerned looks. Though when he looked closer at Ron he could see while his friend was concerned, there was something else there too. An underlying current of hostility if Harry wasn't mistaken. He was also taken with how much older they looked.
His focus was brought back to the one directly in front of him by the sound of her voice. "Are you okay?" Hermione asked hesitantly.
Harry tried to sit up but he felt the room spin about him and he almost had to vomit.
"Easy, Harry," Hermione said warmly, placing a restraining hand on his shoulder.
"What happened?" he asked horsely.
"I'm not sure," Hermione said wincing. "We were talking about how your name got into the Goblet of Fire when you had some kind of fit or something," she said lowly, glancing at Ron with a displeasing look.
Ron glared first a Hermione and then at Harry. "Yeah mate, we had just begun to talk about why you didn't tell me how to enter the Tournament too," he said a bit hotly.
Harry rolled his eyes. "Godric! Not this again," he groaned to himself. "Listen Ron, I'm only going to say this once, so pay attention," he said, staring intently into his friend's eyes.
When he saw Ron looking at him with his full attention, a look of expectation flooding his eyes, Harry said intently "I didn't enter the bloody Tournament! Got it?!"
Ron looked startled, actually jerking his head back in surprise. Then slowly the scowl returned and he jumped to his feet.
"Fine! Be that way. "I guess you aren't as good a friend as I thought," he spat before turning and storming away.
Harry watched him go, shaking his head and scowling himself. "Bloody wanker," he muttered.
"Harry!" Hermione gasped, aghast. "Such language!"
Over Hermione's shoulder he saw Ginny snickering, her eyes dancing with mirth.
Harry managed to sit up with his back against the couch. His head still throbbed horrendously but at least he didn't feel like vomiting any more.
Hermione's was still fussing and wringing her hands, looking almost identically like a distressed house elf, much to Harry's amusement.
Though Ginny still looked concerned, there was a cool indifference that he found bothersome. It was something he wanted to get to the bottom of.
Once again he was forced to look away from Ginny by Hermione's incessant badgering. "Maybe you should go see Madam Pomfrey," she said practically in a dither.
Ginny gave him one last look over before she stood up. "Well, he's looking a lot better than he was. I guess I'll be going," she said indifferently.
"Please stay," Harry quickly implored.
Harry was taken by surprise when both Ginny and Hermione give him shocked looks. More and more Harry got the feeling that something was amiss and he knew he needed to get to the bottom of it where it concerned his friends, especially Ginny.
He now remembered what had happened, how he had ended up somehow in his second year and how he and Ginny had handled the Diary, freed Sirius and everything else.
He also knew that there was something different about how Ginny was treating him and he had to find out why. His heart almost stopped as he thought that maybe like in what he called the original time-line she had broken up with him. If that was the case, he wasn't sure he'd be able to take it.
Ginny's look changed and she cocked her head as she looked at him. Harry saw her face take on an appraising look as she studied him intently. Her head cocked the other way slightly as she continued to study him.
Harry tried to convey everything that he was feeling to her with his eyes. How much he loved her, needed her, desired her. How much he wanted to do nothing more than wrap his arms around her, smell her sweet, intoxicating fragrance, to run his hands through her long luxurious hair.
"Pleasepleaseplease," he begged silently. "Please Ginny."
Then almost imperceptibly her look changed. There was what Harry thought was a glimmer of hope in her eyes and with a small smile she gave him a curt nod.
As she sat down on the couch near him Harry couldn't help but take in Hermione's reaction. It was rather comical as she looked back and forth from Harry to Ginny, numerous times, he jaw hanging open as I she couldn't believe what she was seeing.
Harry managed to push himself up far enough so he could slide his bum back onto the couch and he flopped back in relief. Sitting on the hard cold stone floor of the common room was not something he'd recommend to anyone.
He breathed a sigh of relief, while he still had a headache, he no longer felt like a Bludger was ricocheting around inside his skull.
"Well, if you're feeling better, I'm going to get back to work on my Transfiguration Essay," Hermione said with a huff.
With her departure, Harry turned his focus onto Ginny. She was looking at him speculatively but her eyes had lost almost all of their coolness.
Harry rolled his shoulders and moved his head in an up and down figure eight. He heard his neck crackle a couple of times, lessening the pain in his head further.
He sighed in relief before turning his head once more to Ginny. "Fancy taking a walk with me?" he asked hopefully.
Once more Harry noticed a small change in the way Ginny's eyes were assessing him. He held his breath, once more silently imploring, "Please Ginny."
Whether it was his silently imploring her or not, Ginny gave him a small nod.
Harry couldn't help but notice the small smile that formed on her lips as the corners turned up slightly. He quickly rose and extended his hand towards her, offering to help her rise.
Ginny's eyebrows quirked up slightly but the smile grew just a little more and she finally reached out and let him help her to her feet.
Silently they made their way over to the portrait hole, Ginny eyeing him the whole way.
Harry immediately began to lead her towards the Room of Requirement and he saw the light grow in Ginny's eyes. At first it was a look of disbelief and then the smile grew some more.
She was practically giddy by the time Harry walked three times across from the Tapestry of Barnabas the Barmy trying to teach Trolls Ballet.
Harry thought she was going to throw herself into his arms but she halted short of him, staring deep into his eyes. "Harry?" she said guardedly. "My Harry," she said hopefully.
Harry was too choked up to speak so all he could do was nod his head.
Relief flooded Ginny's face as she threw herself at him. He wrapped his arms around her, taking in her sweet flowery fragrance, lifting her off her feet and spinning her around before setting her back on her feet.
Tears were streaming down Ginny's face as she looked at him. She then hugged him hard, harder than Mrs. Weasley ever had. "I thought I'd lost you," she cried as she buried her face into the crook of his neck.
Harry held her tightly, rubbing her back comfortingly. "Shhh," he whispered. "I'm here now."
Slowly Ginny calmed down, every so often pulling back and looking at him, as if to reassure herself that he was actually there, holding her and comforting her.
Harry led her over to the couch in front of the fireplace, the only two discernible features in the room. Ginny curled into his side after they sat down, resting her head on his shoulder. She sighed contentedly as she snuggle even closer.
They sat that way for quite a while. Ginny sighing every so often, a smile on her face while Harry tenderly stroked one hand down through her long luxurious hair, every once in a while placing a small kiss on the top of her head.
"Can you fill me in?" Harry finally asked softly.
Ginny got a contemplative look on her face. "I'm assuming you mean from the night that Ron attacked you?" she said tensely.
Harry gave her a nod as the painful memory flashed through his mind.
Ginny took a deep breath and blew it out as she tried to organize her thoughts.
"Okay, but try to remember some things I learned later and some things I've had to piece together on my own," she said tersely.
Harry gave her a nod of understanding.
"The sound of Ron attacking you must have woken one of your other room-mates up, or someone was still awake, I'm not sure which. Anyway, who ever it was woke up the others and they came in and stopped Ron from continuing to attack you."
Ginny then looked thoughtful for a moment. "It was Neville, if I remember correctly that stunned Ron."
When Harry gave her a stunned look, she continued. "Yeah, I know. Bumbling, hesitant, shy Neville. He then tied him up with Incarcerous while one of the others ran to get help. I'm really not sure who that was. Anyway, by that time the commotion had woken others and several of the boy prefects came in and stood guard until McGonagall showed up right before Pomfrey did.
By that time most of the girls were awake too. I tried to get up to you but Percy wouldn't let me. I'm not sure if it was because I was a girl trying to get up to one of the boy's dorms or if he didn't want me to see you, not that that stopped me, seeing you that is.
Pomfrey brought you down almost immediately, trying to keep you from bleeding to death and hoping your head wounds weren't too severe. That was when I saw you," Ginny said, her voice falling away to almost nothing as the memory of that dreadful night came back to her.
Harry hugged her a little tighter into his body and placed a tender kiss on the top of her head.
It took a couple of minutes until she was able to continue. Fred and George had to restrain me, first from trying to get to you and then from killing Ron when it spread through the common room that he'd been the one who attacked you.
I'm not ashamed to admit that I was a mess by then. Fred, George and Percy ended up taking me to the hospital wing and forcing me to take a Dreamless Sleeping Potion."
By this time Ginny was crying freely, the tears coursing down her cheeks.
Harry felt so bad about making her remember what had taken place because of how distraught she was.
"You don't have to continue," he whispered, his own eyes misting, not for what had been done to him but because of how horrible Ginny was reacting to having to tell him.
Ginny wiped feebly at her tears on her cheeks with her sleeve. Harry reached into his pocket, glad that he found a handkerchief there, which he handed to Ginny.
She gave him a wan smile in thanks, wiped her eyes and blew her nose. "Thanks," she said softly. "I'll just keep this for now, I'll probably need it again."
Ginny shifted around some, finally settling back on the same spot on Harry but now instead of being on her side, she was laying with her back on him. Harry still had his arm around her, providing her comfort and keeping her tucked close.
"Let's see, where was I . . . okay, hospital wing. By the time I woke up the next day they had transferred you to St. Mungo's because of how badly you were injured. Madam Pomfrey even admitted to me later that she didn't think you were going to live.
I was a mess and not getting anything done in class at all. I was even trying to figure out how to sneak out of school and get to St. Mungo's. Before I could do that, McGonagall called me into her office. I was so scared that somehow she had found out, even though I hadn't told anyone what I was planning.
When I got there I found Mum there. She took me into one of her bone-crushing hugs and told me that she was sitting with you every day and she'd keep me informed as to how you were doing.
I was so out of it, I didn't even question how she knew that we had become so close. It was only later that I found out the Twins had written her as soon as we started to spend time together. I didn't even know that they knew. They never seemed to pay any attention to me. Oh well, that's not either here or there."
Harry gave her a small smile but it was touched with sadness. As he remembered the night before the finally confrontation with Riddle. Fred's death still hurt so bad that he had a hard time even thinking about it.
"What happened to Ron?" he asked, wondering if she didn't want to bring it up.
"Oh, sorry. I kind of got carried away with telling about you," she said apologetically.
Harry just waved it off.
"I didn't see him for several days but he came strolling into the common room late one night. I'm not sure but I think he'd been home being lectured to by Mum and Dad while Dumbledore decided what to do with him."
"Obviously he decided to let him back," Harry said with a frown.
"Yeah, but I'll get back to that," Ginny said, giving his arm a reassuring squeeze.
"Anyways, when I saw him, I lost it and hexed him six ways from Sunday. He ended up spending a week in the hospital wing. Boy did I get it for doing that. Lucky for him, Percy was there and he eventually managed to get my wand away from me."
Ginny then gave a little laugh. "When I asked him later why he hadn't just stunned me, he said he could never have done that to his only sister."
"Well, I got hauled off to see McGonagall again, this time Mum and Dad were there. Boy did I get a lecture. The thing was though, though Mum was looking and talking to me quite sternly, I could see something in her eyes that said she was actually rather proud of me. Go figure."
"I ended up with a weeks detention but to me it was worth it. They even had me promise never to do it again. I did but crossed my fingers inside my robes."
On hearing that, Harry could help but laugh, causing Ginny to laugh too.
"By the time Ron got out of the hospital wing I found out he had gotten two months detention."
When Harry heard that he looked at her in surprise.
Ginny rolled her eyes with a frown. "Yeah, me too. I also found out that he was almost expelled but I never have found out why he wasn't."
Then she gave a melancholy sigh. "All along Mum was sending me daily updates about how you were doing. At first they were very heart-wrenching and quite emotional. I guess it was about a month of so later that I noticed that they began to change. At first they still came daily but there was a subtle difference in them."
She then sighed again. "Then they began to come less frequently. It was then I figured out that they were more just about how you were doing physically and less about how you were doing, if you get my meaning. When I finally asked her why in one of my letters, she never did actually give me an answer."
Harry could see Ginny getting sadder and sadder as she went on and he wondered why.
"It wasn't until you returned just after Easter that I discovered why myself," she said so sadly it broke Harry's heart.
"Though you returned to school, you were no longer "My Harry"," she whispered. "You just weren't the same. You were so cold and withdrawn. You wouldn't even look at me let alone talk to me."
Harry felt his eyes tearing up, feeling just how much it had hurt her.
"And it wasn't with just me," Ginny continued, looking down into her lap where she picked at a loose thread on her robes.
The only one you talked to at all was Hermione and even with her it wasn't the same. We talked several times and she said something about people who have suffered head wounds sometimes have personality changes. And that was that," she finished sadly.
"Did I go back to my relatives at the end of the year?" he asked with some trepidation.
"No," Ginny replied with a huff. "It seems that while you were at St. Mungo's you and your Godfather got to know one an other. He met you at King's Cross and you went home with him."
Harry looked surprised and smiled.
Ginny shook her head sadly. "While I guess it was better than your relatives, I don't think everything went all that well."
When he looked at her questioningly, she shrugged. "When you two showed up at King's Cross that fall, neither of you looked happy and I could tell Sirius was quite frustrated with you. I don't really know what all was taking place as I only saw you two from a distance, but you seemed to have some kind of argument before you stormed off and got on the train. When I was wandering the corridor later to see a couple for friends I passed you sitting alone in a compartment, staring out the window. Things really weren't any different when he dropped you off this year either."
She then gave a low laugh but it held no real happiness. "Even Hedwig seems put out with you."
"Hedwig!" Harry said brightly. He then got more pensive. "I need to write Sirius and see if I can find out what's happening between us," he said softly.
He then let his head flop back with a deep sigh. "Let's see, the Tri-Wizard Tournament," he muttered.
"Do you foresee any problems with that?" Ginny asked.
Harry gave a shrug. "As long as the three tasks haven't changed, there shouldn't be any problems and even if they have I at least know a hell of a lot more magic than I did the first time."
Then he groaned. "Let's see, somehow we need to take care of the fake Mad-Eye and keep Cedric from being killed. A piece of cake compared to a sixty foot Basilisk," he said sarcastically.
"Mad-Eye? Cedric?" Ginny asked in confusion.
Harry then filled her in on what had happened during his original time-line. He then groaned, wrapping his arms protectively around her.
I guess you'd better prepare yourself for ending up at the bottom of the Black Lake for the second task," he said ruefully. "That is if you'll take me back," he added fearfully.
Ginny glowered at him. "Of course I'm taking you back, just promise me you'll never hurt me like that again."
Harry looked at her crestfallen. "How can I promise you that. I didn't want to leave you the first time."
Ginny let her shoulders fall while she contemplated him. "Alright, I know you don't have any control over this. Maybe what we need is some kind of code or something and I'll try to be understanding if you suddenly change personalities again."
Harry gave a small chuckle. "How about this," he said with a smile. "I'll say "I'm Back"," paraphrasing in a passable imitation of a certain Austrian actor from a certain film franchise.
Ginny frowned and gave him a strange look.
Harry shrugged his shoulders. "Sorry, old Muggle film reference."
Ginny's look softened. "Thank Godric," she said, rolling her eyes at him. "I was beginning to think you really had addled your brain."
Harry gave her a sheepish look and a little one shoulder shrug. "Sorry," he said again.
Ginny gave a little snort along with a smirk. It then morphed into a huge smile and she threw her arms around his neck. "I'm so glad that I have you back." she said happily, before cuddling into his side.
Harry gave her a quick squeeze and then looked off thoughtfully. "Okay, first things first. I need to write to Sirius and ask him to meet us the first Hogsmeade weekend."
Ginny just glanced up at him from her place cuddled on his chest.
Harry smiled down at her. "Fancy a trip to the owlery?" he said brightly.
The pair rushed back to the common room and while Harry ran up to his dorm to get some parchment, quill and ink, Ginny checked the notice board.
As luck would have it the next Saturday, November sixth, was the next Hogsmeade weekend. Harry dashed off a quick note, just asking for Sirius to meet him and Ginny and to please come with an open mind.
Ginny gave him a slight smile. "Just how much are you going to tell him?" she asked.
Harry gave a small sigh. "I'm not sure. If he seems receptive I may tell him everything."
Ginny's eyes darted around the common room to see if anyone was looking their way. When she saw no one was, she leaned in and gave him a quick kiss. "I think that's a good idea," she said with a smile.
Harry's return smile let her know he agreed with her. They rose and quickly made their way to the owlery. As they were walking Ginny informed him that she had kept the knowledge about the Room of Requirement to herself, using it as a refuge where she could get away from everyone if she needed too.
Harry called his familiar down to him and she flew down though it seemed rather reluctantly. She alighted on his offered arm.
Ginny couldn't hide her laugh as she watched her. She looked at Harry and then jerked back, blinking her large amber eyes several times before she lunged forward, rubbing her head against Harry's cheek while cooing softly. It seemed even she knew there was something different about this Harry.
Ginny's laughter turned into a warm smile as she watched Harry get reacquainted with his owl. The love she saw between them made her eye tear up.
"Easy girl," Harry whispered while he stroked Hedwig's neck feathers. "I'm back, at least for now and if I ever start acting like a prat again, go to Ginny and she'll explain everything to you."
Hedwig turned her big eyes to Ginny and hooted softly, letting them know that she understood what he was saying.
She then held out her leg for Harry to attach his letter.
"It's for Sirius," he said softly.
Ginny had to laugh again. Hedwig cocked her head and gave him a look that plainly said "Oh Really?"
Harry rolled his eyes and chuckled too. "I know, I know," he said. "Hopefully this letter will let us set things straight."
Hedwig bobbed her head in approval before taking flight, heading off towards London.
As Harry watched her fly away, Ginny came up to him and wrapped her arms around his waist. "That was nice to see," she said softly, a warm smile on her face.
Harry sighed, a small sad smile on his face. "Did I ever tell you she died the first time around," he said softly.
Ginny tightened her grip on him as she moved around to his front. "No," she said lowly.
Harry sighed once again and Ginny sensed it was laden with melancholy.
"It was when I left my relatives for the last time. A bunch of the Order members showed up to escort me away."
Ginny looked at him in confusion. "Order?" she asked, obviously not knowing what he was talking about,
"The Order of the Phoenix. I'll explain later," he said with another sigh. "Any way, we were travelling by brooms and we were attacked by Death Eaters. Well, most everyone was on brooms. I was on Sirius' old motorcycle with Hagrid and she got hit with an Avada Kedavra. It tore my heart out."
Ginny pulled him in tighter and gave him a tender kiss. "We'll just have to make sure that doesn't happen again," she whispered.
Harry smiled at her though there was still a touch of melancholy to his features. "Yeah, we will," he replied.
The recently reacquainted couple made their way slowly back to the Gryffindor common room, taking almost every opportunity to pause in many of the secret passages and hidden nooks to get better reacquainted.
It was a thoroughly snogged couple that entered the common room just before curfew, tucked so closely together that it would have been impossible to get a sheet of the thinnest piece of parchment between them.
They had just settled down onto one of the couches to resume their previous activities when they heard, Oi, Potter! What are you doing with my sister?"
Harry slumped, closing his eyes as he sighed, "Good Godric, not again."
He jumped a little when he felt Ginny tense beside him. "Let me handle this," she growled out lowly.
In a flash Ginny was standing with her wand drawn, facing down her brother Ron.
Harry could see how red-faced Ron was and once again he had his hands balled into fists as he approached where Harry and Ginny were. He drew up short almost as if he were surprised to see his sister standing in front of him.
If Harry hadn't been so disappointed in his one time friend, he might have found the look Ron was giving Ginny comical. As it was it just made Harry wonder if his fellow Gryffindor had any functioning brain cells at all.
Ginny's eyes had narrowed to thin slits and her jaw was set with hard determination. "Ron," she said lowly.
"Gi-ginny," Ron replied, his voice breaking and climbing several octaves.
Ginny's voice remained low and if dripped with menace. "Remember the conversation we had concerning mine and Harry's relationship?"
Ron's face turned pure white. "Y-yes," he replied shakily.
"It's still in effect," Ginny said tersely. "Understand?"
Ron nodded his head slowly and shakily before taking off for the boy's dorms.
To Harry it was if someone had suddenly turned up the volume. Where silence had reigned moments before, there was a hubbub of activity as hushed conversations took place and people returned to their previous activities with a vigour that caused excess noise.
Ginny casually stowed her wand back into her robes before she sat down in Harry's lap. She gave him a quick kiss before laying her head on his shoulder and gave a deep sigh.
Harry kissed the top of her head. "That was bloody brilliant, my . . ." Harry said before catching himself and stopping dead.
Ginny lay there for a moment to see if he was going to continue, when he didn't she stirred until she could see his eyes. "What were you going to say?" she asked guardedly.
Harry briefly contemplated not telling her, something Ginny picked up on immediately. "You'd better tell me. I've only gotten better since I last saw you," she said lowly.
Harry's head jerked a little in surprise but the smile never left his face. "Well, I was going to call you my warrior princess but then remembered you hated being called a princess so I stopped," he replied with a smirk.
Ginny looked thoughtful for a moment. "Princess isn't so bad as long as it has warrior in front of it," she said with a small smile. "Just don't over do it," she added with a smirk of her own.
Unnoticed by the bantering pair, someone was staring at them speculatively. Hermione was trying to figure out just what the hell Ginny meant about saying that she had only gotten better since she had last seen him.
She'd seen him every day since the start of term. Not that they'd spent any time together. In fact the last time they spent together was right up until Ron had attacked Harry in their second year, Ginny's first.
Hermione knew that had to be significant. She didn't know why it was significant, just that it was. All she had to do is find out what that reason was and it's go a long way to unravel the mystery named Harry Potter. Vowing to keep a close watch on both Harry and Ginny, she headed off to bed. She needed to be up early to get to the Library before breakfast so she could finish her Charms Essay that Professor Flitwick had assigned in class on Friday
The next week progressed with agonizing slowness to Harry, well most of the time. The exceptions were when he spent time with Ginny. That time seemed to fly by with such rapidity that though he knew he spend virtually every waking hour he wasn't in class with her, it seemed like he hadn't spent any time with her at all.
The other thing that was noticed, mainly by the school's staff, but noted by a small number of students as well, particularly the ones vying for the top spot in the fourth year class, that Harry Potter was once again out performing everyone.
His performance had skyrocketed from that middle of the bottom quarter of the class to the top spot once again.
McGonagall had gone as far as keeping him after the end of class to talk to him, asking what had prompted the sudden change.
Harry found he couldn't help himself and given her a small shrug, telling her he'd "gotten his groove back on".
The stern Professor had just stared at him, one eyebrow climbing high into her forehead, saying "That's some sort of muggle saying, isn't it?"
Harry had just smiled at her with a nod.
The buzz around the castle by dinner time on Friday was that the "Smart" Harry Potter had returned, much to the chagrin of the Ravenclaws.
On Saturday morning as Harry and Ginny prepared to head into Hogsmeade after breakfast, the staff was assembling for their November monthly staff meeting.
As Albus Dumbledore entered the staff room he had a sense of deja-vu. The Professors were excitedly discussing Harry Potter once again.
His thoughts went immediately back to the somewhat brief period during Potter's second year when he had shown the same remarkable change. It had ended due to what he surmised was the head injury that he had suffered. When he had returned to the castle after spending so much time in St. Mungo's, he had definitely returned to the mediocre student he had started as.
He briefly wondered if it had taken this long for him to recover to the point where he was now able to perform once again at an advanced level, but decided to shelve the thought for now. He'd have to take time to contemplate the significance of the circumstances, time he certainly didn't have at the moment. He had a staff meeting to run after all.
After breakfast and being cleared by Filch, who scowled at them, which wasn't note worth, the man scowled at everyone, student and staff alike, Harry and Ginny headed into Hogsmeade, hand in hand.
Harry had received a terse replay from Sirius, stating that he'd meet them for lunch at the Three Broomsticks at twelve, so they had a several hours to kill.
Their first stop was Scrivenshaft's Quill shop as they both needed to get some new quills. They then proceeded to Dogweed and Deathcap's as Ginny needed to obtain a few potion ingredients.
They then just wandered about, mainly window shopping. Ogling the new brooms at Spintwitches, passing Ceridwen's Cauldrons, which was advertising the latest in self-stirring cauldrons. Something both knew Snape would never allow for class.
They almost went into Zonko's Joke Shop but decided not to when they spotted Ron buying a large bag of Dung Bombs. The boy had an unhealthy obsession with the foul smelling things.
They swung by Gladrags where Ginny sighed wistfully over several sets of dress robes prominently displayed in the front window, before going into Honeydukes where Harry treated Ginny to some Glacial Snow Flakes, which she preferred over Ice Mice, along with a couple of Chocolate Wands, some Chocoballs and a bar of Honeydukes finest dark chocolate. One might get the idea that Ginny loved chocolate, and they'd be right.
Harry also bought himself some Chocolate Frogs along with his own bar of Honeydukes finest dark chocolate. From the look Ginny gave him he was certain that she wasn't going to share that particular item with him.
Resupplied with sweets, they headed towards the Three Broomsticks as it was almost time for lunch and their meeting with Sirius.
Harry and Ginny
A/N: Surprise! Harry is being much like Dr. Sam Becket and experiencing his own type of Quantum Leap and will continue to do so. Though he will only be travelling one direction in time and it will happen chronologically. So hang on it's going to be an interesting ride.
As always, please review. They are greatly appreciated.
