Ruby yawned as she wiped the sleep out of her eyes, her vision slightly blurred as she regained her foothold into the conscious world of reality. Soon enough though, her silver eyes would look around her dorm room before smiling, them landing on a certain white haired huntress a couple inches away from her.

It had been about a week since she had gotten out of the hospital, and within that time, she had healed quite rapidly, a blessing she guessed. By now, her wounds had healed completely, only scars now dotting her stomach and right arm, yet with a bit of covering, they couldn't be seen at all. Either than that, Ruby had insisted that she sleep in Weiss's bed since it had been difficult to get out of her own bed when she was injured, and the heiress could do nothing but agree much to her own small objections.

"Why can't I just sleep in the top bunk?" Weiss looked at the still injured huntress, to which she would only get a giggle from her.

"Because this way it's like a slumber party!"

Ruby smiled at the small memory before she was snapped out of her morning haziness by a tired yawn coming from next to her, which signaled that her partner had just woken up. Without a moments hesitation, Ruby got out of the bed and stretched so Weiss could do the same thing, Ruby already inside of the bathroom by now. The Heiress yawned once more, this time her yawn being quiet.

"Morning." She rubbed one of her eyes as she looked over to Blake and Yang, the two in different stages of waking up.

Like herself, Blake was already out of the comfort of her bedsheets and rubbing the last remaining bits of sleep out of her eyes. Although the same couldn't be said about the blonde brawler that slept above her. Yang was still in that state between being asleep and being awake, her blonde locks haphazardly splayed across and around her head.

"Five more minutes….."

"Haha no. We've got class, and I don't want to be late. Now, time to get up you brute." Weiss stood up as she grabbed her nearby brush, the thin bristles passing through her long hair to get any of the knots that had formed in it out.

Yang groaned as she began to get out of bed, but didn't take into account about her bed being off of the floor, which instead of her usual feet first landing, instead it was face first.

"...I meant to do that…."

"Of course you did Yang." Ruby giggled as she walked out of the bathroom, her Beacon uniform crisp and clean as it stayed on her body. "Your turn Weiss."

"Thank you Ruby." Once Weiss had retrieved her necessary clothing for the day, she closed the bathroom door behind herself, Ruby now sitting down on the bed she and Weiss had been sharing.

"So, how's operation Cold Heart been going?" Yang smiled as she looked at her younger sister, said huntress raising her brow.

"Cold….Heart?"

"Oh you know~" Yang grinned as she stretched, her back audibly popping as each tense muscle was beginning to relax before the blonde brawler of the group raised her voice by a few octaves in order to impersonate her younger sister. "Oh Weiss, you and I are gonna have a great time! First we're gonna go out shopping, then talk about boys! What? You don't like boys but instead want me? Well then why talk when we can play some tonsil hock-" A pillow hit the blonde's face before falling to the floor followed by a few more that caused her to be covered in a small mountain of pillows. "ky"

"Y-Yang! Don't talk about my love life like that!" A deep red blush had come across her face, her thoughts a bit of a jumble before she put them into order. "A-and I wouldn't put it THAT brashly! I'm not a character from Ninja's of Love you know."

"Hey!" Blake lightly scowled at the hoodie-wearing huntress.

"Oh you know it's true."

"...yeah…" Blake coughed a bit as Weiss got out of the bathroom, her eyes looking at the awkward situation that had transpired during her absence.

"What...were you talking about just now?"

"Oh we were just talking abo-" Before Yang could utter another word, the resident faunus covered her mouth with her hand.

"Just small chit chat really. Something we wish not to discuss came up." Blake gave a wink to Ruby before smiling at the heiress so suspicions wouldn't be raised.

"Um….alright then…." Weiss shrugged before sighing. "C'mon Ruby, we better get a head start. I heard that there's a new instructor for sparring and that she likes to start classes early."

"Alright! See you two in class!" Ruby smiled and waved to Blake and her sister before leaving with the white haired huntress next to her, the two now walking towards their first class of the day.

Even though it had been a week of an injury free Ruby, Weiss was still slightly protective over her partner. Who can blame her? With the likes of team CRDL always trying to jab at the fully recovered huntress, Weiss had been keeping an eye on them and her partner. I am not gonna let anyone harm my dolt. The simple thought that had been running through her mind recently had filled her with two emotions each time it was brought up.

The first always had been a slight scrunching of the heiress's nose as she wondered why she had started to refer to Ruby as her dolt, and the second was always her heart racing a tiny bit while she felt a small warmth inside of her chest, that feeling actually being new to her. Either way, she had promised herself that Ruby shall no longer get hurt, whether it be from the battlefield or the classroom.

"Finally! We're he~ere!" Ruby smiled as she walked into the spacious seating of the arena-like classroom, it being akin to Beacon Academy's gym. "I wonder what this new teacher will look like though." She looked at the heiress next to her, said girl being within her own thoughts at the moment.

"Hm?" Weiss looked up, it taking a second for Ruby's question to register. "Oh! Well, I think that, like any of our other teachers, she'll be...interesting to say the least."

Almost immediately after having said that, an ear piercing whistle sounded out for a few minutes before ceasing, the two huntresses turning to see the new teacher as ythe ringing in their ears died down.

"Alright kiddies! listen up!" The woman looked at the small group of students that had shown up early, it being five minutes before the bell to signal their first period to begin having its cue to ring. "My name is Abigail Albus, but you shall refer to me as Sir or Professor Albus."

"Pfft."

Cardin Winchester rolled his eyes before starting to speak to one of his teammates, although he'd find out that was not a wise decision with Abigail, for his ears would curse him with an incessant ringing. Said ringing was the result of Abigail having swiftly walked over to the disrespectful team and blow her whistle at full force, the four males now reeling as they held their ears in pain and annoyance.

"Now, once you four learn to respect a superior, you can stop your push ups. That or until the class ends. Now, drop and give me twenty."

"Ha! That's not even a punish-"

"Thousand." Abigail grinned as the four groaned and gave Cardin a slight glare before they began. "Now then, the rest of you. I want you to begin sparring. Partner up and begin with hand-to-hand combat after you've all changed into your gym clothes." At that, she left the students to get to their lockers, Yang and Blake showing up in record time to see team CRDL doing their assigned pushups.

"So, what'd they do to get into push-ups Rubes?" Yang looked to her younger sister with curiosity as Blake and herself only got a glimpse of the new professor before she disappeared out of sight.

"They talked when she was talking."

"Ha! But no seriously Ruby, what did they do?"

"Like I said, they talked when she was talking." The young huntress looked at her older sister, not a trace of deceit in her voice or eyes before she began to walk again with Weiss to the gym lockers.

"...Looks like this new professor isn't gonna be kidding around…" Blake thought to herself out loud as she brought Yang to the locker room with herself.

"Stay focused…" Yang whispered this small mantra to herself as she kept her eyes locked onto her partner's, their clothes now consisting of a pair of black gym shorts and a grey shirt with Beacon's logo on the back.

"Now, Begin!" The blue eyed professor blew the starting whistle, and within seconds, the room was filled with the sound of bodies hitting the mats that had been placed onto the floors for the sparring, each one either being a dull grey or a forest green.

Without a second of hesitation, Yang dashed towards Blake as did the faunus to the brawler, the two now deflt blocking, dodging, and punching one another. Each punch was meant as endurance for their auras, the jabs being light yet still hard enough to cause their aura's to feel it.

It was already clear who fought with what fighting styles. Yang fought the same way she would if she had Ember Celica, her punches having energy in each strike while the faunus in front of the blonde used judo, the usually black-clad girl's strikes being mostly defensive, but each time they did it, it was with elegance and precision.

"Tch." The blonde grinned as she began to sidestep Blake, and before the two knew it, the faunus was pinned under the brawler, her knees on either side of Blake's legs. "Got ya."

Blake scowled as she looked up at her partner before grinning, and before the blonde had anytime to react, the faunus's legs had spread and effectively made Yang's knees buckle, which allowed the position to be switched. Although now, their faces were a mere few inches away from each other.

"Got….you…" Blake blinked a bit as her body straddled Yang's, their eyes looking into one another's as a slight pink coated their cheeks.

The moment seemed to go one for an eternity, but that moment was soon gone when Abigail blew her whistle, the two huntresses being snapped out of their light stupor.

"Alright everyone! Take five and switch out with the other half of your team." The Colonel looked at her students, each one in a different state of soreness or injury of pride, especially team CRDL who was barely up to a hundred pushups by now.

Even though by now the usually black and yellow clad huntresses had separated, their pink tinged cheeks were still the same rouge color, their hearts beating a bit faster from how close they were, yet only Yang had an idea as to why before dismissing it.

Sup everyone! hope you like the chapters so far. and don't forget to leave dem reviews! Now then, you may ask, who is this Abigail? is she just another teacher? well, that's for me to know and you to find out. Plus, awwwww, Yang and Blake, plus, Ninjas of Love! anyway, it's time I go and do stuff, like writing! Oh and to add some clarification on Blake's fighting style, I've always thought it'd be based in Asian fighting styles, and Judo is Japanese boxing that usually goes for takedowns and pins of the opponents. Anyway, till next time, ciao~
