Hello everyone :D!

Oh my, how long it was...? 4 month...? Okay, sorry people, when you wrote in your review (mainly) that you would prefer longer chapters with longer waits, I know you didn't expect this long... To tell you the truth, ME NEITHER! I always wanted to update a new chapter but something came up all the time. I don't mind if you don't read this, but I think you will understand why I was not able to update before (or fast in the future) :

I'm going to graduate from high school this year so I had to choose a university. As I want to continue my studies in England I had to apply for English universities (to which I had to do dozens of things...) What's more, as originally I'm a Hungarian student with a completely different curriculum, I have to learn almost everything BY MYSELF, especially because of the foreign words. I had 7 exams in October and November (from Maths and Chemistry) because of this and I had no time to breathe either :( When I had time, I always continued the fic, but there was not enough to write a whole chapter. But by now I am finished and I promise you DO NOT have to wait this long again! I still have to learn the A level things, but I promise the updates will be in at most 2 months! And I will try to write as much as I can during the winter break, which will shorten your waiting time again :D!

Hope you will forgive me and won't stop supporting the story! Thank you everyone for your patient wait, here is the continue C: Now we will get a better picture of Ciel past~ But the main things will come later, so be patient~ ;)

Disclaimer: I still do NOT own Kuroshitsuji or any of its characters!

If glares could kill, Sebastian Michaelis was sure that half of his surroundings would be dead. It wasn't enough that he had to leave Ciel alone because of the starting of his shootings, but also had to endure the squealing of his oh so stupid colleague, Grell Sutcliffe. The red-headed over-energetic idiot was always jumping around him, asking him out for a drink after their work. It took him half an hour – and a punch in the face, as Grell immediately ran to remake his make-up – to get rid of him and be able to concentrate on his work again. And when he thought that finally he was able to breathe again, his boss declared that they had got a really important task, which they had to do by the end of the week. The theme of the photos should be love for the up-coming Christmas collection, asked by the queen herself. Of course it only took Grell five seconds to cling to Sebastian's arm again, applying for the shooting, claiming that they made the perfect pair. It took another half an hour – and a headache – for William to tell him that he couldn't put them together. He told them that he needed pairs that would make any customer squeal from the cuteness of the picture and with Grell's will of kissing his "Sebby" wouldn't fit the idea at all. In addition, it would most likely end in the shutting of the company if they openly printed a picture of two men kissing on the front of the magazine, read by almost every teenager. To their fortune, they could start the shooting with Ronald and Mey-Rin as the main characters of the photos, but that was just one pair and he needed at least one more. To Sebastian's fortune, as he wasn't needed anymore, he was dismissed – together with everyone despite Ronald and Mey-Rin – for the day.

He needed a coffee after the tiring day, so Claude offered that they should go to a nearby café. As soon as the soft and strong taste of his cappuccino reached his taste buds, almost all Sebastian's rage went away. With a long sigh, he put the cup down, earning a chuckle from his partner.

"Don't tell me that was enough for you?"

He earned a glare in return, and Sebastian lifted his hand to massage the area between his nose and temple.

"Try to be in my place for just one day with that over-energetic idiot..."

"You mean Grell? Come on Sebastian! You know that he is like that with every hot man around him!" he leaned closer to whisper the last parts "But you know that officially he is with William."

"Another reason for him to stop acting like that! One day he would realise that his oh-so-darling Will will leave him!" the other declared with a frown, earning another chuckle.

"You know that won't happen. Although he pretends to be serious, we both know how soft the devil William can be when with Grell. I'm sure that he means everything to him beside his job! You know the feeling as well, don't you?" he asked, nudging the younger's arm with his elbow, hinting with his eyebrows.

Sebastian just put the hand back slowly, but his facial expression told Claude that he was embarrassed. It was not regular that you see the famous Sebastian Michaelis blush, but that was one of those rare times when he did. "Don't make me laugh! It was years ago that we were-"

"I'm not talking about us Sebastian." was the sudden and serious answer.

Sebastian was taken aback from the tone, but he collected himself and looked at his friend with a frown. "Then...?"

Claude put a hand on the other's shoulder and looked at him with a soft smile "Sebastian, I've known you for centuries now! I can see how different you look at that little boy. And you were the one who claimed that you started to have feelings for him."

Sebastian opened his mouth to say something, but closed it as no voice came out. He knew that the older demon was right. He always was. He had already helped him during the last centuries as his main advisor, thus he only turned to him in need. "You are right..." he admitted with a sigh. "But what do you think I should do? What if my father finds us...? I don't even want to think about what he would do to him..." he continued, looking away with a hard expression, clenching his fists under the table.

Claude noticed the sudden change in his friend's aura, so he put his other hand on his shoulder as well and turned him to look at his eyes "Sebastian, you are a strong demon. Nobody has stopped you before and if they tried, you always won! It's no matter if it's your father, you shouldn't let him force you into things you don't even want!" his lips curled up into a soft smile as he continued. "You should just listen to your heart like you did when you escaped from that place."

Sebastian mimicked his friend's expression and put his hand on the other's. "Thanks you Claude. You can always help me in need."

"That's my job as your main advi- , no as your friend."

Sebastian nodded and slowly got up. He was glad that nobody looked at them and got suspicious of their actions, or worse, heard their conversation. At this time, not much people occupied the building, and they sat down at a place in a corner where nobody could see or hear them. But the fear of someone hearing them was still there.

"Well, I think it's time to go home then. I can't wait for Ciel's reaction when I got home. He was sad when I had to leave. I could see the plea in his eyes, wanting to come with me." he remembered with a chuckle. He was glad that Claude could always make the bad mood disappear.

"You are the one who saved him and from what you have already told me, I can only assume that he has similar feelings towards you. I think you should try and take him on a date."

If Sebastian still had drunk, it would have ended up on the table.

"O...O... On... A WHAT?!"

Both demons stopped when some people looked at them with questioning faces or frowns, but when they continued with their things, Sebastian leaned closer to his friend to whisper.

"What do you mean Claude? He is just acting as he is because he is grateful as you said for saving him! He has already been through a lot, I don't want to add another suffering to his list."

"Don't be ridiculous Sebastian! Why would he suffer?! Just look at him! When anyone tried to go near him beside you, he freaked out or attacked them! He is just acting soft when he is with you! Have you seen his expression while you were beside each other? And despite being a cat demon, I'm sure that he is not acting like the way he is because of his instincts."

Sebastian sighed, but his expression softened again. "You are right Claude. I will try my best then."

"That's the Sebastian I know!" the older declared, patting the back of his friend. "Let's go home and tell him the news!"

"Yeah..."

Terrified wouldn't even describe how Sebastian felt the moment he stepped into his room. He had had a bad feeling before that when he entered the house and wasn't hugged tightly by a clinging Ciel. He thought that the boy might have been asleep, but to his horror, he found him lying unconscious on his bed, covered in things he didn't want to be on his beloved.

"Ciel!" he immediately ran to his side, checking his forehead. He was glad to see that at least the boy didn't have a fever, but his uneven breathing scared him. He slowly lifted the limp body and brought him into the bathroom. Before he entered, he felt two eyes staring at them, but when he turned he just saw a black cat standing on a branch outside. He thought that it might just be a normal cat, getting interested by his cat demon, but then he caught sight of its red eyes. He immediately recognised them and sent a glare towards the feline. After making sure that the temperature was alright, he put the boy into the tub and made sure that he completely washed the dirty body. He was glad that at least the bleeding has stopped. Judging from the fact that the blood was flowing from between the boy's legs before, it didn't take him long to realise what had happened to the poor halfling. He blamed himself for not coming before. When he was ready, he pulled the boy out of the tub and brought him back to the bedroom. He pulled out a fresh long shirt from his wardrobe and went to the still shaking body. At least Ciel was now clear of any dirt, but he was now able to see the red marks of someone's bigger fingers on his tiny hips. The thought itself that HE put his hands on his pet and did things like that... He didn't know why his father did what he did, but he hoped that it wasn't because of the contract. He was sure that Ciel won't last long if his father continued liked this... And he didn't want to lose Ciel.

Wait... now that the boy was naked, he could see his form without any difficulties. His pale complexion, his shining slate blue hair, his long eyelashes, his petite form... everything was perfect. And if he added his mesmerizing royal ocean blue eye!

Without second thought, he grabbed his phone from his pocket and dialled the number he needed.

"I think I have the solution for our problem..."

After making sure that Ciel was clothed and he had enough covers on his body, Sebastian went out to make a cup of tea. As a demon, he didn't need to drink or eat any human-made things, but this was one of the rare times when he needed the beverage. It had the same affect on him as humans. After the first sip, he could feel his nerves calm down. Demons didn't have hearts (of if yes, it did not beat), but that didn't mean that they could not feel basic feelings like angriness, jealousy or happiness. And Sebastian was angry. Really angry with his father. He hurt Ciel and he was sure that he won't be able to forgive him no matter what he did.

Barely audible whimpers woke him up from his thoughts, but he froze as he looked at the still unconscious boy on the bed. He was visibly trembling, his eyebrows furrowed, whimpers leaving his parted, shaking lips. He was sure that if the boy wasn't in pain, he must have been having a nightmare. He didn't like to see his love – yes, he now admitted it – in a state like this. He sat down on the edge of the bed and put a hand on a warm cheek. The uneven breathing of the boy scared him, let alone the fact that his forehead was covered in sweat again. He couldn't take it anymore. He knew that Ciel might freak out when he woke up, but he didn't want to see him in a state like this. He slowly – making sure not to do too sudden moves – lied down beside the small body and hugged him tightly to his own body. He put a hand on the thin back and drew the other through the blue locks, making sure to caress the fluffy ear as well.

Despite his unconscious state, Ciel's body still reacted to the warmth and relaxing touch. His trembling started to ease and a much smaller hand shot out, grabbing the fabric of the man's shirt at his chest. His body even moved closer to the source of warmth, his breathing slowly returning to normal.

Sebastian was able to heave a sigh of relief. At least maybe the nightmare has stopped. He was sure that Ciel would get up with unbearable pains the following day, but at least he might not be as shocked as he would have without Sebastian's help.

Everything was dark. He couldn't see a thing. The only thing visible was the blood flowing from the walls, making his heartbeat grow faster from fear. When the ear-piercing screams finally stopped, he could hear his fast, uneven breathing. His eyes were wide, looking around the room all the time, trying to search for escape. He wanted to cry, cry for someone to help him, but his throat was dry and wasn't able to give out a sound. Every inch of his body hurt, fresh blood still visible at some marks on his back or legs. He could still feel the nipping slaps of the whip on them. His bottom hurt from the harsh treats (to say it carefully) before. And everything was thanks to his carelessness. He knew he shouldn't have done what he had done, but he wanted to escape. Wanted to help... her...

'Doll...'

The thought of the freckle-faced girl made a tear appear at the corner of his good eye. He could still hear the echo of her cries for him when they were separated by those strong, muscled, huge demons. The last thing he saw before a sharp pain at the back of his neck – thanks to which everything went black – was she, trying to stretch her arm towards him, crying his name again and again.

He didn't know what happened to the girl. He just knew that his master's wrath must have struck on her as well. He hoped that at least it was better for her than it was for him. He was behind the idea of their escape, Doll just wanted to help him.

He was woken up from his thoughts when the metal door – just reachable from outside – was pushed open with a creak. A shiver ran through his spine at the sound. He knew what it meant. The two demons from before went to him, grabbing him with such force Ciel was happy his bones were still in place. He knew he wouldn't have a chance against them, no matter how hard he tried to struggle. He just tried it once, which resulted in three broken ribs, a gash on his chin and lots of bruises.

But the thing surprising him was that the demon world – or like humans like to call it, Hell – was similar to the human one. There were cities, villages, similar companies and a palace for the royal family. The environment was the only difference from Earth. Everything was covered in black and red, being it blood or ashes, anything which you have already heard from your parents.

But the most shocking thing was that unlike in the stories, demons from the higher classes preferred to use their human form as the lower demons wouldn't attack them and if they did, they could still turn into their demon form for battles – the weaker ones of course getting out as the losers.

The two security guards responsible for Ciel – as they were from the lower class – were in their demon form, making things harder for the boy. Their long, sharp claws always dig into his flesh and if he did something they didn't like, their power left him with serious injuries sometimes. But like the guards in the human world, they wore uniforms, but more demonic ones: black trousers with black jackets, chains hanging down from the pockets, one sword sheathed attached to their side, knee-height boots without heels, but steel foot and black military-like caps – two thorns sticking out from two sides. But the scariest thing was their eyes. Ciel was never able to get used to them. They were split at the middle, glowing red all the time. It wouldn't be a problem, if they weren't looking down at him with their mischievous grins. If Satan didn't see and they decided that way, they had their 'fun' with him as well. All in all, Ciel's life was a hell in that dark, thick closet.

"Why are you trembling little one? You know that we won't do anything wrong~"

"We will just show you something pleasurable~"

A hiss from the cat demon, showing his still small fangs.

SLAP KICK KICK

"Did you say something?!"

KICK KICK KICK

The clinking voice of the chains, holding Ciel in place on his ankles, wrists and neck, could be heard in the room, but they boy didn't utter any sign of his agony. It hurt, more than before. His now finally healed wounds reopening again, gaining new ones in addition.

"We will show you some manner then!"

The tearing of fabric, a thump of a body on the floor and cries of agony now were audible. It was Hell. Not just the place, the events for Ciel himself. He wasn't able to think properly anymore. He just knew one thing...

He needed to escape.

Ciel woke up with a startle, his eyes wide, his form trembling, gasping for air. His mind wasn't able to make out the soothing words whispered into his ears or the warm fingers running through his locks or even the being beside him despite the fact that his eyes were open. He just saw dark, blood and those demons.

He shut his eyes closed, counted to ten and tried to even out his breathing.

"It's alright Ciel, it was just a dream..."

His eyes shot open, looking at the source of the voice, his body still shaking. The sight however made his fears slowly ease. There was the raven-haired man with those mesmerizing red orbs. It wasn't scary like the ones there. They showed care and concern, looking at the form beside him. He closed his eyes and shook his head to get rid of the bad memories, just looking at the man who saved him with gratitude in his eyes. When he looked down, he realised that he was clutching the man's chest, so with a gasp he let go and looked up into the red orbs with apologising ones.

Sebastian looked down at the small figure with a smile. At least his mind was now working properly it seemed and was able to register the soothing touches on his hair and ears when he was able to hear a still quiet, but still purr, feeling the resonate of the small torso on his other palm (on Ciel's back).

"You are safe Ciel, I'm here." he whispered with the same care in his voice as in his touches, not wanting to scare the boy. Although Ciel now knew where he was, Sebastian could still see the remains of fear in the visible royal blue orb, sharing glances everywhere in the room, his fist clenching around his shirt again. They stayed like that for some minutes, maybe hours, Sebastian didn't count. He just waited patiently until he saw that Ciel finally closed his eyes and sighed. It was the sign that he now totally calmed down, accompanied by his loud purring when the man scratched his ears. The boy leant into the touch and was snuggling his face into the palm sometimes too.

His lips quirked up at the sight. He was glad to see that Ciel didn't think about whatever he had a nightmare of anymore. He hugged the man tightly and snuggled his face into his chest, as if saying 'thank you'. Sebastian wrapped his arms around the petite body and started to draw his fingers through the slate blue lock again as he put his chin on the boy's head.

"You are welcome."

As he had expected before, Ciel didn't want to eat anything almost the whole day. It was already 4pm, when Sebastian decided that it was time to change things and announce the news. He poured some milk into a bigger mug and put it into the microwave. When he felt it warm enough, he took it out and put some honey in it, to make it sweeter and to calm the boy down.

Ciel was still lying in the hall on the couch, looking at particularly nowhere, just staring at the blank picture of the television, like if waiting for it to switch on. Sebastian had done so before, but the boy still remained unmoving, so he switched it off. At least Ciel was able to get out of the bed and hadn't been just lying in his bed the whole day. Okay, it was on the couch, but it was a miracle he even got out of the bed with the pain visible in his eyes. He was sure that his father had been rough, so it must have meant that Ciel was already maybe used to these actions. He hoped it wasn't like that, but he wouldn't ask of it for a while for sure. He knew that would just cause more trouble.

He sat down beside the lying body with a smile and extended his arms with the mug towards him. "I've brought you warm milk. You need to at least drink this or your stomach would remain empty." He didn't want to add that 'I know that you are not hungry and might end up throwing anything you eat up.', so he just left it like that. He was glad that an arm, hesitantly, but was stretched out towards the mug and was slowly lifted to dry lips.

Ciel closed his eyes at the soothing feeling of the warm and sweet liquid. It felt tasty and he was sure that his stomach would be able to endure it as there was no complaint. He slowly started to drink the remaining of the milk, his body relaxing sip after sip. When the mug was empty he looked up, extended his arm towards the man, who took it away. He plopped back into the pillows and closed his eyes with a long sigh. When he felt a warm hand on his cheek, he opened his good eye and met with red ones and a soft smile.

"I'm glad that you drank something. Just tug at my sleeve if you want more."

He got a shook of the head as an answer, but he didn't mind, he was glad that at least Ciel had something in his stomach, which would help him heal. But his muscles were still tense, and he decided that would help if he eased them out.

He looked down at the boy, who had his eyes closed now, one of his arms on his chest, his breathing becoming slower.

"Ciel..."

Said boy opened his good eye again and looked at the man with a questioning look on his face.

"Could you please turn around...?"

And that was the thing he feared of. Ciel's eyes suddenly shot open with fear, his body trembling visibly again. Sebastian wanted to put a hand on his shoulder to tell him that everything was alright and he didn't want to hurt him, but he was sure that the boy would slap it away and they would return to the start again. But words can be wise and helpful, can't they?

"Ciel, please, don't worry, I... don't want to..." he stopped to choose his words correctly, not to scare the boy more. "... to hurt you... I just want to help you to relax..."

The trembling visibly started to ease as Ciel's mind comprehended what was said to him. He closed his eyes and heaved a sigh of relief. He still hesitantly, but turned around, wincing when a sharp pain ran through his bottom half and spine from the movement. But he didn't give out any voice of agony. He swore that he would never show weakness again before others, just if there wasn't any other way.

Sebastian was concerned of the pain the boy was going through, but Ciel wasn't willing to take any medication no matter how hard the older man had tried. He went closer to the small body and leant down, stretching his arm and put his palms on his upper back.

Ciel's eyes widened at the touch, but he closed his eyes and concentrated on the fact that it was not that place now. He was with Sebastian, who was definitely just wanted to help him. The fact that he hasn't tore his shirt open or anything like that, but was just trying to sooth him was proof enough. He let his mind relax when the hands on his back started to move, the act itself making him forget his bad memories again. It was like if his mind was switched off and like if he was just floating somewhere without anything happening around him. It felt like if he was free again, like a bird, who was just flying in the air without worrying about getting caught (forget about the hunters now), just enjoying the blue sky and fluffy clouds. When he was in that cage, he had always dreamt about what would have been if he could had just turned into a bird and joined the others in the fresh air, being free.

He was woken up from his thoughts, his eyes widening again when he felt that the hands went lower and touched his lower back. Everything came back to him: the pain, the words and his fate.

When Sebastian noticed that Ciel started to shake again he leant down and was saying cooing words into the cat demon's ear. He knew that the boy's mind wouldn't understand what he said, but at least that might calm him down.

And that's what happened. The calm tone made Ciel realise that the one above him was nor Satan nor those stupid guards. He was outside the cage now, with Sebastian, safe from those idiots. When he was able to breathe evenly again, he realised that the hands helped him ease the pain. He still winced at some touch, but it started to go away as the minutes passed. He let his eyes close and just relaxed under the hands of the man he started to love. But not because he saved him. No, by now Ciel realised that he truly loved Sebastian for the one he was. But he knew that no matter what he thinks, Satan was right. Sebastian was the Prince of Lust, one of the seven princes of hell, who just used his charming features to get closer to his prey until they felt loved and safe in his arms. But Sebastian did nothing like that. Maybe he really didn't want to do anything bad...? But that's the thing the prey should feel. But there was always the 'what if' and Ciel believed that despite being the Prince of Lust, Sebastian might be able to feel love as well. He didn't mind if he would end up being eaten by the man at the end – that would be much better than his fate because of the Devil himself -, but he decided that he would try and convince Satan that he can change the thinking of the Prince of Lust.

After the massage, it wasn't a surprise that Ciel almost immediately fell asleep again, to Sebastian's relief, with a calm expression. He was glad to see the boy this way. He hoped that after hearing the news, he would be able to ease his fear completely. He asked the day off to be able to care about Ciel in return for his idea for the company. He just hoped that the boy would agree with him as well.

He didn't know if the Ciel's stomach could take any food already, so he just made a warm bowl of soup after an hour. Just when he was ready he heard a small groan from the hall and when he looked out a small smile appeared on his face.

Ciel was sitting on the couch, stretching and after finishing, adjusting his hair. His eyes were half-lidded, the boy still fighting with his sleepy mind.

"Good to see you are awake." Sebastian declared as he went into the hall and put the tray with the bowl and a glass of water on the table. "Are you hungry?"

Ciel wanted to shake his head, but his stomach thought another way as it gave out a grumbling voice, causing the other man to chuckle.

"I take it as a yes."

A cute pout appeared on the boy's face as he took the tray to his lap with a huff, but lifted a spoon of the soup to his lips. He opened his mouth hesitantly, but when the warm liquid and the taste of chicken reached his taste buds, he started to quicken his pace with beaming eyes. It was delicious!

Sebastian just watched with a smile on his face as the cat demon finally ate. It was a soft meal, so he was sure that the boy's stomach would be able to endure it.

After Ciel was ready and drank the water as well, licking the remains from his lips with a satisfied smile, Sebastian looked at him with the same expression.

"I have something to ask you Ciel."

Said boy looked up with a confused face, tilting his head to the side, but gestured to the man to continue.

"I know it might sound strange, but please listen until the end. After yesterday's events, I don't want to leave you alone at home again." he started.

Ciel's eyes widened for a moment. Can it be that Sebastian blamed himself for the happenings? But he has told no word about his contract yet, so how could the man know the real reason behind the attack. He bowed his head, his bangs covering his expression. He didn't want the man to blame himself. He grabbed Sebastian's hand, looking up at him with blazing eyes.

Sebastian just gaped at the action; but when he looked at the boy's determined mismatched eyes, he was sure that the boy wanted to say something important.

"It's good to see that you are not afraid anymore. I take as sign that I can continue."

Ciel sighed for a second, not being able to convey what he wanted to say properly. But that could wait, he was curious about what his master wanted to say.

"As you now, I work for a modelling company, and am one of their most precious employee. As a result, I can take anyone in with me without them being asked what they want."

Ciel's eyes widened as he realised what the man meant and wanted to reach for his notes, but his wrist was grabbed halfway. He froze and raised an eyebrow as he looked at his master, but the soft expression told him that he had nothing to fear and that there was something he wanted to add.

"That's not all Ciel. At the moment, we are facing some problems as we were given a direct order from the queen, so we have to do our best. And there is a lack of another pair for the shooting and I thought that maybe... you might want to..."

Ciel was taken aback. It was not enough that Sebastian offered to take him to his workplace instead of leaving him home, but also a chance of work in the famous company! Without his mind realising it, he wrapped his arms around the broad torso and hugged the man tightly, burying his face in the crook of his master's neck.

When Sebastian felt something wet on his skin, his lips curled up and returned the gesture of, putting his chin on the top of the smaller head. He knew that Ciel wanted to express his gratitude this way and he was glad that the boy accepted the offer.

Tomorrow will bring a new beginning, which will bring the boy and the demon closer to each other.
