The next few weeks sped by for Molly. The nursey was finshed though she still found Greg once in awhile adding a picture to the wall or a stuffed animal to the crib. Now Molly was at her last day of work and she was teary but ready. Her feet were sore her ankles swollen and her back hurt. Still Molly had never been happier. With her arms laden with baby gifts from co-workers Molly went down to her car and put the gifts in the backset. She fingered a tiny blue onesie that had slipped free of it's box. With each day it was becoming more and more real. Molly should be scared and part of her was. Mostly she was excited. Her right hand drifted to her stomach. She couldn't wait to see her baby for the first time; to hold him. Putting the baby clothing back in it's box and closing the door Molly eased herself into the driver's seat and started the engine. She heard her cell phone beep and dug the device out of her purse and glanced at the screen. Finding a waiting text message she clicked it and smiled seeing it was from Greg.

'On your way home?'

'Yes.'Molly typed back.

'Good. I'll meet you there.'

With a puzzled frown Molly put away the phone and started the car after putting on her seatbelt. It was only three in the afternoon. Greg wasn't normally home for hours yet. Something was going on and she hoped it was a good something.

Greg Lestrade put the bouquet of a dozen roses in a vase and carried it to the back deck. He set it on the small table and frowned. He should've done this better. It was a spure of the moment idea that had been building for weeks. Greg just hadn't had the courage to put a propsal of marriage setting together until today. So now as he stood on the back deck staring at a dozen roses as the only decoration it didn't seem like enough. Molly deserved every rose there was. Or at the very least hanging lanters and ribbons. Greg just hadn't had the time to pick up more than flowers. As he heard the garage door open and then close he hoped it was enough. He walked back into the house in time to see Molly walk into the kitchen her arms full of baby gifts.

"You had a good day I see."Greg commented with a smile as he reached Molly and kissed her.

"I did but there's more in the car and why are you home early?"Molly asked.

Greg took the packages from Molly and set them on the kitchen table. He drew her close and placed an arm around her waist.

"They can wait. I'm home early because I have a surprise for you let's go out to the deck."Greg explained as he ushered Molly outside.

Molly saw the roses the instant she stepped onto the deck and she smiled turning back to face Greg.

"They're beautifal, Greg!"Molly exclaimed as she moved closer to the table to examine the flowers. "I love them, thank you."

"Glad you liked them, Molly-girl but they're only part of it."Greg replied as he moved closer to Molly.

"Part of it?"Molly echoed.

Greg ran a hand nervously through his hair before he dropped to one knee before Molly. She stifled a gasp as he reached for her right hand and took out a small jewlery box with his left. Molly's eyes filled with tears and she blinked them away.

"I love you, Molly-girl."Greg began as he opened the box revealing a beautifal diamond ring. "Will you marry me?"

Molly had to blink a few times to make sure what she was seeing and hearing was real. Greg's hand tightened on hers and she knew it was. They hadn't talked about marriage since she'd found out she was pregnant. She hadn't wanted him to feel obligated especially since his divorce had been not a pleasant experience. Molly hadn't wanted to pressure Greg and in truth she was truly happy just having him in her life and knowing that he loved her.

"Yes."Molly breathed her voice barely above a whisper. "Yes I'll marry you."

Greg's face lit up with a wide smile and he slipped the engagement ring on the approiate finger. He rose to his feet and swept Molly into his arms lifting her off her feet. Greg set Molly down long enough to kiss her deeply. Breathlessly she collasped against Greg's chest looking down at the her beautifal ring.

"I love you, Molly."Greg said huskily as he rested his chin on top of Molly's head.

"I love you too,Greg."Molly whispered not quite believing the turn of events but feeling incredibly happy and loved none-the-less.
