I woke up with a splitting headache and my body was cold all over. The first thing I noticed was that I wasn't on any soft bed like most kidnapping scenes. I was on a hard, cold stone floor. I sat up and waited for my eyes to adjust. There was a little window with bars blocking some of the light above my head. There were dark stonewalls surrounding me and only a small wooden door with bars in the doorway.

I stood up and tested my ankle. It was actually okay, just a little swollen and sore. I looked for foot and handholds in the wall and lifted myself up to the window. I pulled myself up and looked out.

There was no ground outside my window, only a long drop to something dark and what looked like water running against gravity. I wasn't in a dungeon, but I also guessed I wasn't anywhere near the ground.

"There isn't any real ground here," A voice said from behind me. I turned my head quickly and lost my grip on the bars. I dropped to the ground quickly and landing heavily on my ankles. I winced from the pain. The silver haired boy was standing on the other side of the barred door.

"What?" I asked, hissing slightly and trying to ignore the pain in my ankle.

"Never mind," He studied my movements, "You know, Maleficent could fix your ankle rather quickly." I glared at him.

"I'm sure she can do a lot of things, like trick people into portals and then immobilize them so its no longer a fair fight."

"Fair fight? You faked being injured!"

"Oh there was no faking," I smiled painfully, "I'm quite positive you broke my ankle, but I don't care. I would have won, and you shouldn't always trust the injured." He looked at me and sighed.

"Well I came down here to see if you were awake because Maleficent wants to see you," He said, "She has a proposition for you. And then she wants you to clean yourself up." I looked down at myself. My clothes were stiff with dust and sweat. I sniffed and realized that salty stench was me.

"Well I could do with a shower," I mumbled. He unlocked the door and held it open. I immediately tried to bolt past him but his arm shot out and caught me around the waist. He swung me back against his surprisingly hard chest. I stared up at him. His green eyes were bright with amusement but within a few seconds they seemed to darken. My ankle had bumped into his leg and it was burning with pain again.

"If you don't quit trying to get away, I'll have to have Maleficent cast that body binding spell on you again," He threatened. I just looked at him and tried to scoff, but I found it difficult to make any noises with him holding me so close. He was finely toned and had an incredibly handsome face. I NO SHUT UP BRAIN! /I I screamed at myself. He released his grip on me. "Can you walk."

"Yes," I muttered, still mentally scolding myself.

"Are you going to run away again?"

"No."
"Okay then," He released me from his strong grip and I stumbled onto my left ankle, keeping most of my weight off the right one. He started walking down the corridor and I hobbled along after him.

It was an extremely confusing twist of corridors and random staircases but eventually he stopped outside a door and said he'd wait for me out here. I walked past him and into the dark room. Once he shut the door I stopped and tried to let my eyes adjust to the darkness.

"Come forward child," Maleficent said from somewhere in front of me. I could sort of see an odd green glow from something that looked like a table in the middle of the room. I limped forward carefully. "You're power hungry aren't you?" I just looked at her.

"Umm."
"The only thing you want is the influence over others to make yourself heard, to get your opinions out there, to make everything you're against go away," She said, in her low, smooth voice. "I want this power too. Riku wants this power. What we want is the power to control our lives and everything that happens in it. Just existing isn't enough, we want the power to control and influence."

"Yeah," I felt myself being drawn into her ideas. I've never been listened to, only ridiculed. Only Nessa and Meg listened to me. I shook my head, trying to keep her ideas out.

"It's difficult, being the one they pretend to listen to, I know," She said, "They're not really taking your advice, they only pretend to make you be quiet so they can control what happens." Her voice was so seductive. I Wanessa. Meggan. /I "That power that we dream of. It's reachable. It's right in front of you. You just have to reach out and take it." I Meggan. Wanessa. /I "Kingdom Hearts. The power from such a dominion sends your body shaking doesn't it." I could feel something entering my body, something powerful, wonderful, and scary entering me. I was shaking from the thought of it. "That feeling inside you," she continued on, now the glowing from the table was getting brighter, or was I imagining it? "It's consuming. It's beautiful. It's the power to make you the one in control. Don't you want to be the answer to your friends' prayers? Don't you want to be able to get them home?" I couldn't look away from the light. I MEGGAN! WANESSA! MEGGAN! WANESSA! /I The green light filled my insides and became a part of me. "You want the power I have to offer."
