Third Person POV
"WHAT! RUFUS IS NOT HERE!"
"N-No, sir," the guard stuttered, glancing around the room from top to bottom and from left to right.
Eric put his right hand on his annoyed face, but took off it and commanded, "Okay, just take my daughters and their kidnappers home."
The guards saluted and each took a daughter with their kidnapper, who kept fidgeting.
Sighing, Eric looked at his daughters (ordered from youngest to oldest.) He also looked at the boys beside his daughters—the kidnappers. He eyed them the same way he eyed Dexter as he paced back and forth across the room.
"Daddy!" Amber whined in a childish voice. "Why won't you let me go to my room?"
Eric stopped his pacing, standing in front of his precious daughter, Amber. "Because I wanna have a talk with all of you. That also means you, Erin, Dexter, Cassie, Sophia, and Poppy." The four young girls groaned, knowing that they did something wrong. "I wanted to talk about house rooms. It seems that we don't have any guest rooms because to save money, I am cutting third floor and making into your precious 'special rooms.'
That means, Nina, Mara, Erin, you'll get your own separate, personal library; Patricia, KT, you'll get your own game rooms; Amber, Cassie, you'll get your own personal walk-in closets; Joy, you'll have your own gym; Willow, your own garden; Piper, your own music room; and Poppy, Sophia, you'll get your own computer room. But, one problem!"
"WHAT IS IT!?" all twelve sisters yelled, intrigued for their 'special' rooms.
"First, let me get Andrew, Ricky, and Jacob, okay?" Eric cleared up as he opened the door.
However, Ben, Dexter, and Gabriel's faces all lit up with excitement. Ricky, Jacob, and Andrew were actually their 'brothers,' but left after learning their 'father's' intention. Although, they did tell Dexter and Gabriel, telling them that Dexter and Gabriel should come with them; Of course, Dexter and Gabriel wanted to go away from their 'jail-cell,' but they couldn't leave Ben and their cousins; so they stayed, hoping for an escape.
After about two minutes, Eric came back with the three guys.
"Why did you bring us here, Sir?" Andrew asked confused. Andrew thought he was going to do some paper filling for Eric.
"Oh, nothing. I just remembered I owe you guys a home," Eric answered nonchalantly.
Ricky snapped his fingers and pointed his index finger at Eric. "Yeah, you do. All because of your lousy lawyer's car crashing into our house."
"Living in an ally, inside a box doesn't count as a house," Eric corrected him. Ricky scoffed and ignored what Eric said. "Well, just listen or else you'll never get your new house."
"Um, dad," Nina interrupted, "What does this have to do with our rooms?"
"Well, Nina, girls, if you want your 'special' rooms. You will have to let the boys—the one I assign you to—sleep in your rooms. Of course, the boys will sleep on mattresses. But if you don't want that, your 'special room' will be changed into your assigned boy's room. Your choice," Eric explained the deal, forming since he found his daughters' matches (and that's all thanks to Sarah for knowing.)
"WAIT! DON'T WE GET A SAY IN THIS!" The boys interrupted.
Eric and his daughters ignored them and their complains. "Oh right, the boy I assign to you, girls, is your bodyguard or kidnapper, or whatever. You have about five minutes to talk and pick your choice."
"I already choose my answer!" Willow and Erin exclaimed at the same time. The remaining girls all rolled their eyes; Willow and Erin are very predictable. Willow is fine with a guy—James to be precise—in her room and for Erin, she's practically in love with Dexter, and so she would be fine with the deal. "I'm fine with it!"
"Okay, four and a half minutes left."
Amber, Nina, Piper, and Mara smiled. They were fine with their kidnapper in their room as long as their kidnapper is not messy and dirty—for Amber's case mostly. "We're fine with it!"
"Okay; Cassie, Patricia, KT, Joy, Sophia, Poppy, you have four minutes left."
Joy, KT, Cassie, and Sophia still couldn't decide whether to pick deal or no deal. (A/N: Game reference there. Whoops, sorry for the references.) They gave up choosing and answered deal. "Deal."
"Okay, Poppy and Patricia, you have less than a minute."
"WHAT! DON'T WE HAVE ABOUT THREE MINUTES?" Poppy argued, counting each second.
"Yeah, well the others are done and they picked in two minutes. And I need an answer in ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one, zero."
"No!" Patricia bluntly said as Poppy shook her head.
Eric smiled wisely, knowing this would happen. "Sorry, sweethearts, but since I knew you would say no, I actually got your 'special' rooms finished first and you'll have to share your rooms in the end. This is pay back for putting an eyeball in my coffee and giving me the wrong file for the presentation."
Poppy and Patricia gaped at their father. Who knew Dad can do pranks, too? The thought ran through their minds.
"Ooh, you'll been played," Eddie said, chuckling. He held his hand high in the air, waiting for a high-five. Jacob smirked and did the high-five. Their sisters were trying to hold in their giggles, but Amber couldn't hold it in.
Fuming with anger and embarrassment, Patricia groaned and stomped out of the room, slamming the doors as loud as possible. As for Poppy, she ripped a book. Literally. Poppy threw the shredded book down with a big slam and everyone in the room stopped their laughter and widened their eyes in shock.
"This"—Poppy pointed to the torn up book, laying on the ground—"will be you next time I hear you laugh at me."
"Sweetheart, please calm down." Poppy got more angry, she hated it when her father told her to calm down, and frowned, close to tears.
"I WILL NOT! YOU ARE THE WORST PEOPLE EVER! YOU KNOW WHAT, I THINK I HATE YOU GUYS! I WILL NEVER TALK TO YOU GUYS EVER AGAIN!" Poppy scowled, slamming the door.
Poppy ran to the orange area and opened three loose floor boards close to her room. She went down the stairs after opening the floor boards and covering them up. She went and turned on the lights in the room. It was really long (actually as long as the mansion) and colored the same way their mansion is. Poppy glanced around the room and noticed Patricia looking down, being close to crying.
Poppy smiled and went down to sit next to Patricia, leaning onto her older sister. In this room is where only Patricia and Poppy knew of; they discovered it after getting in trouble one time. They called it their 'I wanna be alone room' and used it when they didn't wanna be bothered or if Poppy wasn't following Patricia's rules (which happens at least twenty times a day).
"Patricia, Daddy can be mean, right?" Poppy asked, but it sounded more like statement.
Patricia nodded. "Yeah, but he loves us more than the whole world itself."
"Yeah, he just loves to joke around."
"Yep, let's go back upstairs. Although I'm not gonna to anyone," Patricia said and stood up from her place and took the stairs Poppy used earlier.
