So uh, no excuse, Im just lazy as hell and enjoy watching you guys suffer. (Not really), but anyways, heres the next chapter.
Asami POV:
Where the hell is she?
How can she be so irresponsible?
How in the world did she forget it was Bolin's birthday?
I swear, I'm going to have to get this dang girl a personal calendar so she remembers all of this stuff. Now, how do I convince Bolin she didn't forget….
Korra POV:
I called for a taxi and sat outside till it showed up. Giving the taxi driver the address, I climbed into the back. There was a weird song on the radio.
"How many days have passed like this?
This city, the crowd is fading, moving on
I sometimes have wondered where you've gone
Story carries on, only lost inside
I've had this dream so many times
The moments we've spent have passed and gone away
Could there be an end to this, what I'm feeling deep inside?
You know there's no looking back
Glassy sky above
As long as I'm alive, you will be part of me
Glassy sky, the cold
The broken pieces of me
Glassy sky it burns
As long as I survive, you will be part of me
Glassy sky, the cold
The broken pieces of me
The mystery of it I recall
Suddenly the truth will change the way we fall
I didn't wanna hurt you, hope you know
Empty promises, shattered dreams of love
Sometimes I wonder what's beyond
I tried many times to make it up to you
Can somebody tell me what to do?
Thought we're meant to be, there's no going back
Time has already come
Sun is gone and no more shadows
Can't give up, I know, and this life goes on
I'll be strong, I'll be strong 'til I see the end
Glassy sky above
As long as I'm alive, you will be part of me
Glassy sky, the cold
The broken pieces of me
Glassy sky above
It covers over me, over me."
That was really the only song that really hit me at all during the trip, the rest were just mindless repetitive ones. We got to the house and I saw a few extra cars sitting out front, I wonder what's going on...
I paid the taxi driver and started towards the front door as Asami came flying out at me.
"What the hell Korra!" She looks extremely pissed off. "How could you forgot your friends birthday!" What friend? I pulled out my phone and looked at the date, and sure as heck, it's Bolins birthday. "He's been asking me where you're at for the past hour and a half, and I'm out of excuses, so get your ass in there." She said, shoving me inside.
As I entered the house, multiple sets of eyes all focused on me. I looked around, but saw nobody familiar except Mako. I picked up my pace as I walked towards Mako. "Where's Bolin?" I asked. He's not really someone I want to talk to, but he's the only person I know.
"He's in the basement." He replied bluntly.
"Thanks..." I mumbled.
I walked downstairs as I heard one of the covers we did a while back playing. Why this one though?
I saw him sitting in a beanbag chair with his eyes closed.
"Hey Bo, happy birthday." He looked over at me and then went back to whatever he was doing without giving me any mind. "Look, I'm sorry, you know how bad I am with dates."
"I don't understand how you can forget when it's exactly 2 weeks after your birthday." He said, sounding almost angry.
"I know, I don't have any excuses... I'm a bad friend, I know."
"It's fine. I forgive you." He said, walking past me and heading upstairs without another word. I followed him up. Just as we hit the top step, there was an extremely loud boom as the lights flickered and then turned off. Great, a power outage. And I'm stuck here with all these lovely people. My life's awesome.
AN~ So yeah, review, PM me, whatever you please. It's summer break so hopefully I have some motivation to write more..
