Quick note, the Arcs are going to get longer after the next two. I want it to have more depth than just fighting and training.
Now let's begin. This chapter goes from abrupt to informative to sad to surprisingly happy.

Time Sickness Chapter 5

Pan flew over to Krillen, Yamcha and Tien with Piccolo trailing behind her. "Are you guys okay?" She asked in a panic.

"Y-yeah. Pan?" Krillen questioned.

"Oh right! You probably don't recognize me because of the Time Sickness. But that's why I'm here. I have the cure for you guys." Pan handed them each one of the seeds from the bag and they choked it down. "Yeah they taste horrible."

"Thanks Pan." Krillen said. He then turned his attention to Piccolo. "Piccolo, we need to get stronger."

"Really?"

"If you saw how badly we were beaten, you'd agree. We're sick of being 'Weak Humans'."

Piccolo was quiet for a moment. "I know the feeling. I'm just as useless right now. For now all we can do is wait."

Krillen nodded. "Right."

...

"I see you two are back on your feet quickly. And you brought another Star Warrior." Omega said.

"Yeah, we don't like monsters messing with our planet." Gohan told him.

"Espically ugly ones like you." Hawk taunted. "But we are the least of your worries."

Omega quickly turned around only to take a knee from Gogeta. "Remember me?"

Omega let out a low growl, then grabbed Gogeta by the face. "Dragon Thunder!" Gogeta staggered backwards, but Gohan didn't give Omega a chance to follow up. He delivered a strong backfist to Omega's face, that staggered him. Hawk went low with a leg sweep, while Kirby went high with a hammer to Omega's face.

"Gogeta finish him!" Hawk shouted.

Gogeta appeared above him, with a glowing rainbow orb charging in both hands. "Stardust Flash!" He slammed his hands together and a blast of unreal energy engulfed Omega Shenron. Omega let out a scream of pain and was completely annihilated.

Gogeta fell to his knees and the fusion came undone. Then Goku and Vegeta lost their Super Saiyan forms, as well as their consciousness. A silence loomed as Hawk and Gohan waited for something to happen. Then rising from the crator where Omega was obliterated were the seven Dragon Balls. Piccolo quickly flew over and looked on. The Dragon Balls began to glow and their cracks disappeared. Then a glowing being burst into the sky. It was Shenron. "Who has defeated the Seven Shadow Dragons?"

Gohan stepped forward. "My father Goku and Prince Vegeta."

"I see." He was silent for a moment. "You have avoided the destuction of your planet. That is something no other has managed to do. However, my Dragon Balls will remained dormant for the next one-hundred years. Farewell, Z-Fighters and thank you." Shenron disappeared in a flash and seven stones fell to the ground.

"So, I guess we won." Hawk said nervously.

"I guess we did." Gohan said back.

"Were you two listening at all?" Piccolo asked with a sigh.

"What do you mean?" Gohan asked.

"He said that this has happened before. I'm wondering how many times." Piccolo explained.

"Three time." Appearing behind them was the Playmaker.

"Oh great, you're back." Hawk groaned.

"How do you know this has happened three times?" Piccolo questioned skeptically.

"How I know is not important. But let me start from the beginning. Before the Namekian race was dying out, five Namekian Guardians were sent to five different planets. Their job was to protect these planets so they created the Dragon Balls. Over the course of several hundred years, three planets have fallen due to over use of the Dragon Balls. I'm glad to see you prevented a fourth planet from being destroyed. I didn't really feel like moving." The Playmaker explained.

The three of them were stunned for a moment, before Piccolo spoke up. "You said five planets. What happened to the others?"

"Other than Planet Namek, there are two more sets of Dragon Balls. One set hasn't been used in several decades. The other reside on a slowly evolving planet that has only used them by accident. Earth's Guardian arrived here many years after the others."

"And here I thought we were special." Hawk joked.

"Wow, that's kind of mind boggling." Gohan said.

"I have more questions, but for now let's get everyone fixed up." Piccolo said.

...

Everyone who was still conscious gathered the others and returned to Capsule Corp. When Goku and Vegeta woke up, they recieved a loud lecture about breaking Bulma's inventions. She finally finished yelling, leaving Goku and Vegeta sitting in the corner in fear.

The Playmaker, who had disappeared when they returned to Caspule Corp., appeared again. He snuck up on Hawk like he usually did. "Damn it! Stop doing that!" Hawk shouted.

The Playmaker chuckled at his reaction. "I'm here with good news. Your brother has regained his consciousness and has been cured of his Time Sickness."

"Wait, why was he unconscious?"

"He was fighting one of the Shadow Dragons when he was ambushed by Syn Shenron."

"And here I thought he was being useless. Will he be okay?"

"He'll be fine. He just needs to rest." The Playmaker then turned his attention to Pan. "Young Lady, have you passed out all the seeds?"

She opened the bag and there were several seeds left. "There are still a bunch." She told him. "Did everyone take their cure?" She called out getting everyones attention.

Gohan, Hawk and Goku raised their hands to say they had not. They each ate a seed and then it happened. "W-what's going on?" Mirai asked in a panic. A strange sensation went through his body and then he saw it. Everyone looked on in horror as his body slowly began to fade.

"Mirai! You're losing Ki rapidly!" Vegeta shouted.

"What's happening? Somebody help him!" Bulma cried.

"That's impossible." The Playmaker said.

"What do you mean?" Bulma asked, tears streaming down her face.

"When those effected by Time Sickness are cured, the cause is sent back to their own time."

"N-no! That can't happen! He's my son!" Bulma shouted.

"I'm sorry." The Playmaker said.

"Mother." Mirai said, getting her attention. "Thank you for everything, but I never truely belonged here. I'm glad I could stay as long as I could, but I guess this is goodbye. I love you." He disappeared with a smile on his face.

Bulma dropped to her knees, sobbing. A teary eyed Bulla was quick to comfort her.

...

Mirai's eyes cracked open. He sat up and looked around. He was in his old bedroom at Capsule Corp. It was still pretty run down but the bed was as comfortable as he remembered. Then he let out a sigh before getting out of bed. He noticed he was still in his tattered clothes from when he fought the dragons. "I'll change later." He told himself. He walked down the stairs and stopped dead in his tracks.

"Good morning Trunks. Are you hungry?" It was Bulma, but it was the Bulma from his time.

Everyone else was there too. Chi Chi, the Ox King and Master Roshi. There were three others there as well. A young woman, the girl's mother and a man with an afro. "Jeez why were you sleeping so long." The young woman complained.

"Pan be nice." Videl told her.

Mirai's arms began to tremble and tears streamed down his face. Bulma quickly noticed and walked over. "Trunks are you okay?"

He immediately pulled her into a hug. "Mom...I'm home!"
