Chapter 6
Last time: While visiting Earth, Bloom goes to see the Guardians of the veil and takes a trip with them to Meridian. Meanwhile the winx and specialists came to Earth looking for Bloom.
Summary: The winx start researching and come up with a plan.
"So where do we begin?" Musa asked.
"Not really sure." Flora said.
"Bloom what did you learn while you were with them?" Musa asked.
"A lot." Bloom said, as she told them about meridian and Phobos.
"Anything new?" Musa asked.
"No." Bloom said.
"So when do we know when we're needed?" Stella asked.
"I've got their numbers, so they'll call me." Bloom said.
"You were texting them the other day at school weren't you?" Sky asked.
"Yeah I was." Bloom said.
"How do you know them?" Brandon asked.
"I don't really, but Hay Lin's parents are regular customers at my mom's flower shop and I've seen her come in the store a few times with her parents." Bloom said.
"Have you talked to her before this?" Tecna asked.
"Yeah whenever she was with her parents we talked a little, but it never turned into a friendship." Bloom said.
"What about the girl with brown hair? You seemed to recognize her." Flora said.
"Irma, I don't really know her. My dad has work with her father before. Her father's a police officer." Bloom said.
"And where are they from again?" Musa asked.
"Heather field, it's the town next to Gardenia." Bloom said.
"Now that everything's covered, can we head back to school?" Layla asked.
"You guys go, I'm going to stay here for a bit." Bloom said.
"You sure?" Flora asked.
"Don't worry I'll be fine." Bloom said.
"Want someone to stay with you?" Helia asked.
"Sure if they want to." Bloom said.
"Well Sky?" Timmy said.
"Yeah I'll stay." Sky said.
"Then I guess the rest of us is leaving then." Helia said.
"Stella portal." Riven said.
"No problem." She said opening one up in the living room.
"Alright guys time to go." Timmy said.
"Call us if anything comes up." Riven said.
"We will." Bloom said. Everyone waved bye and left.
"So now what?" Sky asked.
"No clue." Bloom said.
"How about a date?" Sky suggested.
"Sure. Where to?" Bloom said.
"Not sure, I guess we could get something to eat." Sky said.
"Ok and I know where we can go." Bloom said. Sky didn't say anything and followed her out of the house. The two took a bus all the way to Heatherfield. She lead him to a Chinese food restaurant called the Silver Dragon.
"Why are we here?" Sky asked.
"One of the guardians works here. Her family owns the place." Bloom said.
"We're here to see them aren't we." Sky said.
"No, we're here for food." Bloom said.
"And we couldn't eat back in Gardenia?" Sky asked.
"I was in the mood for Chinese." Bloom said.
"And you can't get it in Gardenia?" Sky asked.
"Food's better here." Bloom said
"Sure." Sky said not really believing her.
"Hi Bloom." An asian girl said popping out from behind the counter.
"Hey." Bloom said.
"You're Sky right?" Hay Lin said. Sky nodded.
"I knew it." Hay Lin said.
"Ok." He said.
"Are you two on a date?" Hay Lin asked.
"Yeah we are. I think." Sky said.
"Yes we are." Bloom said.
"Great, I'll personally be your server." Hay Lin said grabbing a couple of menus.
"This way." She said leading them to the corner of the restaurant.
"Here you go." She said when they reached the booth.
"Thanks." Bloom said as she and Sky slid into the booth.
"I'll be back in a few minutes to take your order." Hay Lin said and walked away.
"She's perky." Sky said.
"She's not that bad." Bloom said.
"I guess." Sky said.
"Sky." Bloom said.
"So what are we ordering?" He asked.
"No." Bloom said.
"Well I don't know what anything is." Sky said.
"It's ok." Bloom said.
"Ready to order?" Hay Lin asked returning to their table.
"Not really." Bloom said.
"No worries, I'll be back with some tea." Hay Lin said and left.
"Well drinks are covered." Sky said.
"Now for the food." Bloom said.
"How about we get a few things and split it between us." Sky said.
"Why not." Bloom said.
"Ok." Sky said.
"Hi guys." Hay Lin said. She had a tray with a tea pot and tea cups on it.
"Here you go." She placing the cup in front of them with the pot.
"Ready to order?" She asked.
"I think so." Bloom said as she gave Hay Lin her order of noodles, rice, dumpling and soup.
"I'll put that right in." Hay Lin said and left. Hay Lin quickly returned with Caleb at her side.
"Hey Caleb." Bloom said.
"Hey." He said.
"You work here?" Bloom asked.
"Not really, I help out time to time." He said.
"Nice." Bloom said.
"You're Sky right?" Caleb asked. Sky nodded.
"Nice to meet you." Caleb said.
"Yeah you too." Sky said.
"Well, we'll leave you be." Hay Lin said.
"Bye." Caleb said as the two left.
"They were nice." Sky said.
"They're good people. They have a good group of friends." Bloom said.
"Like us." Sky said.
"Exactly." Bloom said.
"They're from the group of kids you were with earlier?" Sky asked. Bloom nodded as the two began eating.
"Not bad." Sky said.
"It's interesting a girl on their team, Elyon has a similar story like me." Bloom said.
"Really?" Sky asked.
"Yeah." Bloom said.
"It's the fact you two are both princess but were raised here on Earth right?" Sky asked.
"Yep, the only difference is she has an evil brother and I'm still searching for my family." Bloom said.
"Don't worry we'll find them." Sky said.
"I don't know Sky." Bloom said.
"We're still searching." He said.
"I know" Bloom said.
"You'll be with them soon." Sky said.
"I know. It takes time." Bloom said. The two remained in silence. They quietly ate their food.
"So you two enjoyed it?" Hay Lin asked. The two nodded.
"You guys all set?" Hay Lin asked.
"We are." Bloom said.
"Alright here's the check." Hay Lin said giving it to Bloom.
"Thanks." Bloom said as she looked at it. She pulled out her credit card and placed it with the bill. Hay Lin returned and took the check. She quickly returned giving the card back to Bloom.
"Anything else?" hay Lin asked.
"I think we're good." Bloom said.
"Great." Hay Lin said.
"Come on Sky we better go." Bloom said taking his hand. He nodded and followed her out. As they left, they noticed the guardians walking by.
"Want to see what's up?" Sky asked.
"Let's." Bloom said.
"You go." Sky said.
"You're not coming?" Bloom asked.
"I have to go back to school, but keep me posted." Sky said.
"Don't worry, I will." Bloom said.
"Want me to call you tonight?" Sky asked.
"Sure." Bloom said.
"I better go." Sky said hugging her.
"Same." Bloom said. The two parted ways. Bloom went back inside while Sky went back to Magix.
