It had been years since I had spent days in the sun. Clearly, we were somewhere in the wilderness, and far from a city. Water was easy. I found streams and used a shirt to filter the water. Food was not as easy.

My family was somewhat wealthy. We had never been low on food. So I never learned how to hunt. I had a makeshift slingshot, but food was still scarce.

Finally about two weeks after I had left, signs of civilization showed up. I saw signs of buildings and occasionally even a person. I figured I would reach it by the next day at most.

Sometimes I wondered about Finnick and Gale. I wondered where they were. But I always decided I was much better off without them. I was a loner. I did better alone because people always hurt me. Even if I wasn't their fault. I wasn't dead so therefore, I could basically spent the rest of my life alone. Although a well cooked meal sounded good about now. Not that I knew where to get one. I didn't have money and I knew no one in this city. I knew no one anywhere.

I reached the city about 3 hours later. It looked fairly wealthy with glass building and people bustling around the streets. It occurred to me I knew nothing about this world. It ha changed since I had left it, that much was clear. Gale even said something abut us 'winning'.

I wandered around the streets for a bit wondering what I would do next when she came up to me. She had pale skin and straight pastel green hair. Other than the hair she looked completely normal. Unlike some of the folks I had seen. She was also vaguely familiar.

"Maia Clive?" She asked me.

How did she know my last name. I was the only person who knew my last name. I had never told anyone in fear they would turn me in. But here was a girl who knew who I was. She continued speaking.

"The mayor would like to see you."

**I'm very proud of my edited version of chapter 3 so you guys should go read it! If you guys could tell your friend about this fic over social media and such that would be awesome. I would like you reader's opinion on whether I should do some chapters in Finnick's P.O.V. so if you could leave reviews/comments I would be very grateful.
