Hello readers! This update is a little sooner than normal, but I wanted to make up for all that time I didn't update. I didn't get very many reviews, so I haven't decided on the red-armoured girl's name yet. I've had a few complaints about how short the chapters are, so I'll try to make them longer. Enjoy!

Leo's POV

I started to run upstairs to see what was going on, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw Hermione crashing into a wall, while the swaying of the ship caused a large bottle of nectar to roll off it's shelf and onto Hermione's head with a sickening crack! While Ron rushed over to help her, I continued my way onto the deck.

Once I got there, all I saw was chaos. Harpies were attacking the ship, pulling up floorboards and ripping the sails. Ginny, Percy, Annabeth and Jason, who had all gotten to the deck before me, were fighting harpies, two on one. "Hey!" I called as I threw a screwdriver tipped with celestial bronze at one of the harpies who were starting to creep up on Jason. I always keep a celestial bronze-tipped screwdriver with me at all times, just in case. I realise I left my magic tool belt behind in my cabin, just this once I had thought to myself. Now I cursed myself for being so stupid. I run down the hallway towards my cabin, bursting in and running over to my bed to get my tool belt. As I notice it isn't there, I frantically search, regretting making my cabin so messy. Eventually, though, I realise that it definitely isn't in my cabin. I put my head in my hands. Where could it be? I think to myself. I decide to go back to the mess hall/meeting room, to see if I left it there, though I thought I remembered putting it on my bed.

As I close the door, I see the shape of a girl in the hallway. She seems to have broken one of the lanterns, so I can't see her properly. The girl holds up a shape that looks exactly like my toolbelt, and steps into the light.

Her armour is blood red.

Harry's POV

Once I made sure Hermione was okay, I ran up to the deck to help the others. Once I was up there, I realised that there wasn't much I could do. I had discovered that spells didn't work on monsters. Last time I had just knocked the monsters unconscious with large rocks and the people with celestial bronze killed them, but this time I had no rocks. I did have my dagger, but that was down in my cabin, which was on the other side of the ship. Besides, it was almost too heavy for my to lift, nevermind fight with. The I heard Hermione shouting "Harry!" As I ran over too her, looking a little dazed but fine, she said "I did some research while we were at Camp Half-Blood, looked through the old books at the Big House. I found a couple of spells that can work against monsters!" She taught me the exeotardiusroto spell, which slowly disintegrates the monster from where you hit it, the bevositaiku, which disintegrates them immediately but you need to put a lot more power behind it, the asilulitalo, which points your wand towards the monster's weakest spot and nebeskipedhang, which can summon a celestial bronze sword, size varying on how much power you put into your words. The downside to this is, you will probably be left completely exhausted afterwards.

"I would have told you this sooner, but I didn't expect us to get attacked this fast!" Hermione exclaimed. "One rule while traveling with us," Percy, who was nearby battling three harpies at once, "Is that always, always expect to be attacked!" He was able to talk to them and fight harpies at the same time so easily it was unusual. Probably because he had a lot of practice.

I started to use the spells against harpies, and was pleased at how well they worked for me. I had killed quite a few harpies, and was starting to get into it when something hit my shoulder, hard, which knocked the wand out of my hands. I began to turn around to see what had hit me when it hit me again in the back, knocking me over. I put out my hands to stop my face smashing into the deck, but couldn't stop my glasses falling off. I shoved them back on so fast I almost poked myself in the eye. I look behind me, just in time to see a huge harpy with royal blue feathers snatch my wand, cackling. I tried to tackle it, but it flew up to the crow's nest, on the highest mast. Groaning, I began to climb the unstable ladder, getting a few splinters here and there, but there was no way I was going to lose my wand again. No one really put that much effort into the ladder, as it was mostly Jason who kept lookout, and he could fly.

As I reached the top, feeling exhausted and not in the mood for fighting, the harpy squawked and made a position as if it was about to take off. Just in time, I grabbed onto it's legs as it tried to take off. But the harpy was stronger than a normal harpy and it actually took off, with me clinging to it's feet.

I managed to wrestle the wand out of it's claw-like hand, but I accidentally loosened my grip with my other arm, which sent me tumbling down towards the deck. My mind was too panicked to remember the cushioning spell Hermione had taught me, but I did manage to tuck and roll at the last second. I stood up and realised something.

Leo hadn't come back from retrieving his tool belt.

You guys better like this chapter, because it took me at least two hours to write. So what do you think of the new chapter length?

Q: If you were to be an animal, what would you be?

WYGTD: Which of the characters gets killed. (There will be one!)

I think I'd be a leopard...
