Chapter 9 It Only Gets Worse
"Hey Rebekah, "a voice called out to her. Rebekah turned around and grinned.
"Ted. Cody. What can I do for you?"
"Well, Cody and I were about to go have breakfast. Care to join us?"
"Why of course," Rebekah said with a smile. "Where did you have in mind?"
"Well, we could go out somewhere or just eat here at the hotel," Cody suggested.
"I'm game for anything so it's up to you two," Rebekah said as she waited for them to decide. Once it was decided they left the hotel. They agreed, well Ted and Cody did, on going to Denny's. She smiled as the three of them sat down in a booth, Ted and Cody on one side and Rebekah on the other. The waiter came and took their drinks.
"Okay, so what is the real reason you asked me to breakfast?" Rebekah said looking at her menu.
"Can't we just have a friendly outing with our closet female diva?" Cody asked. Rebekah raised her eyebrow.
"What do you two really want?" Rebekah asked putting down the menu. Of course the three of them were good friends but she could tell there was more to this then meets the eye.
"You just had to go and blow it didn't you Cody?" Ted asked sending him a glare.
"Hey, I didn't see you answering her question," Cody said looking at his menu. The waiter came and took their order.
"So do I get an answer or do I have to ask it for the third time?" Rebekah said looking from Ted to Cody. Cody looked nervous so Ted was the one to speak up.
"We just wanted to talk to you and see what the game plan was for Raw. We want to be on the same page and you are with John and Randy however, Randy and John won't tell us anything. I know that you know what is going on."
"I don't know why they didn't tell you what was going on. I mean I was there when they discussed it but remember the only thing I can do is be alert during John's match. I can't wrestle anyone especially guys who are way bigger then I am. I think Darren Young, Justin Gabriel, and Heath Slater are the only ones who I could wrestle if I could that is."
"So, how are we going to find out what really is going on? As a group in this we need to know what is going on and stay on the same page. We are already outnumbered so the least we can do is be on the same page," Cody spoke up.
"Oh, I understand completely. I feel bad because I can't do anything to help the four of you out. The only reason I am involved in this is because of John. I am his valet and will be for quite some time now thanks to my actions at the club a few nights back. I can tell you what I know but you are really going to have to use this prep talk to get them to tell you the real deal," Rebekah said as she leaned forward to tell them what she knew, stopping only when the food arrived and when the waiter brought the check.
Before Raw
Rebekah walked into the locker room and immediately was surrounded by voices.
"Okay. So is everyone on the same page now?" Rebekah asked as she seen the four of them. They turned and looked at her.
"Yeah but the only one who needs to be caught up is you," Randy said as he walked over to her.
"The less I know the better. I can only be on alert guys so remember that. If you tell me much more then that I could get into some serious trouble," Rebekah said with a smirk on her lips.
"True but you could always stir up a little bit of trouble, just as long as you don't overdo it," John said with a grin.
"Oh boy, do I even want to know what is going on in your head?" Rebekah raised her eyebrow.
"It's not as bad as you think but it will help us out tremendously," Ted said. Rebekah nodded.
"Okay, so what do I have to do?"
"Well, it's funny you asked," Randy said with a smirk. Rebekah smirked as they told her what they wanted her to do.
Raw
For the first time in what seemed like forever Rebekah was actually confident about what was going to happen tonight. She just hoped that if Nexus did come out there that the plan actually worked. By now she knew Nexus would either come out during or after John's match so she had to be on high alert until then.
"You ready to do this," John asked as he looked at her.
"I was born ready," Rebekah said sending him a confident smirk.
"That's my girl," John said as his music played. Both of them made it out to the stage and waited before running down to the ring. Rebekah waited until John's opponent Alberto Del Rio came down to the ring before sliding out of the ring. The match started and she walked over and grabbed two chairs. She walked back over to Ricardo Rodriguez and handed him a chair.
"You might need this later, if you know what I mean," Rebekah whispered. Ricardo looked confused. "We don't want a case of what happened last time do we?" Ricardo shook his head and took the chair. Rebekah walked back over to John's corner and opened the chair. She sat down and continued to watch the match and look around the ring. Rebekah noticed that Ricardo was doing the same thing that she was and was looking around. Alberto seemed distracted and John did as well. John had the upper hand until We Are One rang through the arena. All four of them including the referee were on high alert. I walked over to the ring. John looked at her.
"Ignore them. They just want to distract you from your match. Don't do anything unless you see one of them," Rebekah yelled causing John to nod. Rebekah sat back down. She knew that mind games were starting and that there wasn't much she could do about it other be on her toes when she needed to be. Rebekah was looking around the audience when she seen John signal for the end of the match.
"Here is your winner, John Cena."
Rebekah looked back in the ring as the referee held up John's hand. She clapped her hands and smiled at him. He glanced over at her and then started looking around. She started getting antsy as she knew what was coming next. Almost on cue a few members from Nexus came running down the ramp. Rebekah noticed this and stood up quickly and grabbed her chair. She swung it around just as Justin Gabriel was coming out of the audience. The chair hit him just as he climbed over the railing. She smirked and started hitting him again; trying to make sure he was down and out. After a few minutes she ran over and attacked Heath with the steel chair as well. By this time Randy, Cody, and Ted ran out there with steel chairs and started clearing house. Rebekah noticed that Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo were helping out for some reason unknown to her. They attacked Darren Young and David Otunga with the chairs.
The plan worked out well until Wade stepped out onto the stage with Skip and Michael Tarver. All three of them had steel chair and all three of them were heading down the ring. Rebekah stayed on the outside and continued to hit Heath and Justin with the chair while all hell broke loose in the ring. Rebekah looked in the ring right as chairs started smacking bodies. Randy and Ted still had their chairs while John and Cody were laid out in the middle of the ring. Her eyes grew wide as Darren Young and David Otunga got up. She noticed Alberto and Ricardo were knocked out as well. Rebekah ran over and hit David with the chair however Darren got by her and before she knew it Randy and Ted were knocked out in the ring. Rebekah watched in horror at the sight before her.
Finally after being able to move once again Rebekah slides into the ring and watched Wade and the rest of Nexus leave. Rebekah was livid. It seemed like no matter what they did or what they used they were still outnumbered by Nexus. The rest of Nexus joined them on the top stage and Rebekah gets mad and throws her chair from the ring to halfway down the ramp. The Nexus members watch on as she glares at Wade. If looks could kill he would have been dead. She turns her back and starts helping up her team. It was only going to get worse and Rebekah knew this. It was time for plan B.
