No Angel chapter 9

Ok readers: Another good chapter with Carrie and Loki

The next day, Loki took Carrie down to the main floor.

"Okay, now we will practice here. Don't worry about hurting me," said Loki.

"Alright," Carrie said. She summoned all of her strength and everything started to lift off of the floor.

"Hmm, very impressive. Now for the next part," Loki said. He made copies of himself. Carrie saw how all of them surrounded her.

"Now then, the next thing you will do is find the real me," said all of the Lokis.

Using all of her energy she threw the things at all of them and the fake Lokis disappeared. The real Loki was knocked to the ground.

"You did very well, Carrie."

Carrie walked over to him.

"Are you hurt?" She asked.

"No, my dear. I'm a god. Nothing can hurt me." Loki took Carrie by the hand, "So tell me, how are you feeling? Are you happy with me?"

"Yes, I am," Carrie answered.

Loki could see sadness in her eyes.

"What is it?" He asked.

"It's my mom. I really miss her." Carrie sighed.

Loki turned away from her. He never thought Carrie would ask for this- he had seen the girl's mother when he was spying on her and she was worse than Odin. But if this was what his bride-to-be wanted, he would not deny her anything.

"Very well, we will go to Midgard and see your mother. I think I need her permission to marry you."

Carrie looked up at him, "Really?" She said, smiling at him.

"Yes, we will go see her. First, you look tired. You will need a nap before we go," Loki took Carrie in his arms and carried her up the stairs to bed.
