Aria POV
"I haven't told the rest of the family that you're pregnant but I suggest you do it soon." Ginny says as we leave Saint Mungos.
The healer said she couldn't see anything wrong with the baby and she did some tests but she couldn't find anything wrong with me.
I've been told to get a lot of rest and avoid stressful situations. That's difficult when you're with the Weasleys.
We head over to the fire place and I step into the pit, throwing down some floo powder and saying "The Burrow."
I stumble out of the fire place into the lounge at the Burrow. Rose, Dom, Al, Lily, Hermoine, Ron, Hugo, Fred, Louis, Molly, Lucy, Roxanne, George, Angelina, Percy, Audrey, Bill, Fleur, Victorie, Teddy, Grandma Molly and Grandad Arthur are all sitting around in chairs talking loudly.
However, when I appear out of the fire place there is a momentary lapse in the conversation. Suddenly all their attention is on me and questions are being thrown from every direction.
"Are you okay?" Fleur asks.
"What did the healers say?" Rose asks.
"Do you know why you fainted?" Another voice questions.
"Shut up will you!" James hollers, appearing behind me, followed by Ginny and Harry.
Everyone looks a bit guilty and they sit down again.
I feel a bit self conscious standing in front of all of them like this. What if they notice I'm pregnant? No, don't be stupid, the healer said I don't look 6 months pregnant yet.
She said that the baby is underweight and will hopefully put on some more weight; if not there could be some serious repercussions when he or she is born.
"Ok," James starts when everyone is quiet. "We were going to tell you all, but not like this, however mum said it would be best to do it now..." James says.
I glance over at him and he grins at me.
"Are you two dating?" Al asks, kicking his feet up on the table. "Because if you are none of us are shocked, I mean we all-"
"Will you let me finish what I was saying?" James cuts him off, pulling a face at his younger brother. "Aria is pregnant."
Silence. Fred coughs awkwardly and I try to hide behind James a little.
"Congratulations?" Al says, raising his eye brows in shock.
"Well, thanks for all your support." James says dryly, before dragging me out of the room behind him.
"Wow, that was awkward." I say when we reach the room I share with the girls.
"I know." James replies, scratching the back of his neck.
"Maybe we should've told them one by one or something?" I suggest, flopping down on my bed.
"Get some sleep." James laughs, kissing my forehead and standing up. "Shout if you need me, I'm going to sort out my crazy family."
I laugh lightly, it's nice to know that I don't have to hide it anymore but I still don't know everyone's reactions...
James POV
"Woah, Merlins beard, calm down!" I shout as I enter the lounge.
Everyone is shouting questions at each other, trying to be heard over the rest of the family. I sit down next to Al and sigh loudly.
"Who's the father?" Fred asks.
Everyone stops talking and stares at me, waiting impatiently for my answer.
"Me you half wits." I say. God, my family are so thick. I thought they guessed that.
"Oh." Percy says. "How awful of you. Underage sex and you aren't even together? You should wait till you're married."
"Shut up Perc." George says, slapping him round the back of the head. "I think it's great, James needs something to mature him."
"My first great grandchild!" Grandma squeals, pulling me off of the sofa and enveloping me in a warm hug.
Aria POV
I wake up a few hours later and sleepily make my way down stairs.
The first thing I notice is that there are significantly less people here than before. Uncle Percy and his family have gone home, as well as Uncle George and Uncle Bill.
I curl up on the sofa and pull a checked blanket around me. I know I've been asleep for a few hours but Merlin I'm tired.
"Hello." Rose says, appearing in the door way. "Are you feeling ok?"
"Yeah, just I bit tired." I smile.
Rose sits down on the opposite end if the sofa and makes a bird like noise.
"What was that?" I ask, laughing at her bad impression.
"They sent me in to see I it was safe for everyone else to come in or if you were an over emotional wreck." Rose giggles evilly.
"Gee thanks." I deadpan.
James saunters in and plops down next to me, followed by Dom, Ginny, Hermoine and Grandma Molly.
"Right, we need to talk about your situation." Hermoine says.
"Are you two going to keep this baby or are you going to give him or her up for adoption?" Grandma Molly asks, tears forming in her eyes at the thought of her first great grandchild being raises by a different family.
"We're keeping him." James says confidently.
"Him?" Dom says incredulously.
"We don't know the gender but James is insistent that it's a boy." I clarify.
"Once the baby is born are you going to stay in school?" Ginny asks, glancing up from a piece of parchment she's holding.
"I haven't really thought about it." I reply.
"Well you're only in your sixth year Aria." Rose says. "Your seventh year is very important as we have our N.E.W.T.S."
"That's true." Ginny says. "And James is leaving at the end of this year anyway so he could looks after the baby whilst you're at school."
I look over at James and notice that he's fiddling with his rope friendship bracelet nervously. Discreetly, I reach over and take his hand in my own to calm him down.
"I honestly haven't thought about it." I reply, resting my head on James' shoulder and yawning.
Just because I'm home from Saint Mungos, doesn't mean that I feel better.
"Well, the baby is due in three months so you two better start planning ahead." Hermoine says.
Aria POV
I'm curled up on the sofa at the Potters reading one of Lily's muggle books called The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. It's quite emotional.
"Hey." James says, flopping down on the sofa next to me. "What're you reading?"
"The Fault in Our Stars." I reply, flipping another page.
"I found an apartment." James blurts out.
"What?" I reply, turning to face the nervous boy.
"There were some scouts at the Quidditch match between Gryffindor and Slytherin in October and I got offered a place on the reserves team for Puddlemere United." James sad quickly.
"Merlins baggy y-front, well done!" I shout, jumping into my best friends arms and hugging him. "You're so lucky!"
"Thanks Aria." James smiles.
"Have you replied?" I ask excitedly.
"No not yet, I wanted to ask you first since we're having a baby and training will take up a lot of time." James replies, biting his lip.
"Say yes you baboon, this is a once in a life time opportunity and you've wanted to play Quidditch professionally since you were 11 years old so you go an reply to them. " I say enthusiastically, standing up and walking around the living room.
"Well first I wanted to talk to you about what's going to happen when the baby comes." James says. "As I said, I found an apartment in London, near Diagon alley and I know it isn't near Hogwarts but I'm going to take my apparition test so I can come and visit you and you can come and see me."
"But, James, what if I don't want to go back to Hogwarts after I have the baby?" I ask, nervously chewing my lip.
