It was nearing 8pm and Rikki was sitting on her front steps when her phone rang. She pulled it from the pocket of her long khaki pants and checked the caller id. It wasn't Cleo like she'd hoped, but she answered it anyway.

"Hey Emma."

"Has Cleo called or texted you?" Her friend replied.

"No, I sent her a message at 6 but no reply still."

"I've called her almost 10 times and spammed her with messages," Emma's voice was panicked. "Why isn't she answering?"

"She probably chickened out- you know what Cleo's like," Rikki answered, looking out at the dark street. Emma sighed through the phone.

"Text me if she contacts you okay?"

"Yeah I will," Rikki replied half heartily as the sound of an engine broke the night air.

"Please Rikki."

"Emma, she'll call you first anyways," Rikki argued, the engine was getting louder. "I need to go."

Before Emma could say another word, Rikki disconnected the call and the motorbike appeared in the street.

She stood up, shoving the phone into her pocket, and ran to the bike. The dark figure on the bike handed her a helmet.

"Where are we off to tonight rich boy?" She asked with a smile.

"Maybe a wild, over speed race down the highway to the beach?" Zayne's voice suggested from beneath the helmet.

"Great idea," Rikki replied, securing her helmet and grabbing his waist as he reeved the engine and they lurched down the street.

Cleo pulled the blankets higher until they covered her head. Her hands were still shaking over 2 and a half hours since she told her dad.

And yes, she had told him.

He had thought her crazy, so a demonstration of her powers had occurred, but no tail was flopped out. She had cried a lot, and when she explained why she was telling him, Kim smiled evily at her.

Finally he had hugged her and sent her to bed.

She wanted to text the girls, but her phone was in the kitchen and she couldn't bring herself to go back downstairs.

Instead she listened to the muffled voices of her dad and Kim, hopefully organising a punishment for if she did ever allow the secret to slip.

She'd been alone in the dark, staring at her fish tank, the thing that had cause it all when the door creaked open.

Her dad's had appeared around the corner, but Cleo squeezed her eyes closed.

"Cleo," he said softly. Her hands shook furiously. He knew she was awake. "Cleo, I've spoken to Kim. She's not going to tell anyone else."

Her eyes cracked open a little and the light from the bright hall hit her.

"But I'd just like to know, how long?"

Cleo was silent a moment before answering.

"Around 2 years."

Mr. Setori sat for a moment in disbelieving silence. 2 years she had kept this secret from him.

"Well I'm glad I know now," he assured. "You should've told me earlier, I would of grounded you less." He leant down to kiss her check, before dropping her phone beside her head. "It's buzzed a hundred times," he explained, before heading out the door.

Cleo reached out a shaky hand to grab the phone to see almost 15 messages and 10 missed calls from Emma.

Oh and one text from Rikki.

She hit redial and put the phone to her ear.

"Cleo!" Came a voice almost immediately through the earpiece.

"Emma, everything's okay," she answered with a smile.

The ride to the beach was wild and adrenaline pumping. When Zayne pulled the bike over, the couple took their helmets off and Rikki leant forward to kiss her boyfriends cheek, before the climbed off the bike.

In the dark, he gripped her arm and turned her to him, before planting a heavy kiss on her lips.

While they were interlocked, he picked her up and carried her onto the sand towards the water. She pulled away and looked up at him, but didn't smile.

He pretended to throw her into the water, but pulled her back and set her down on the sand by the ocean. He was giving her a cheeky smile, but dropped it when he noticed her unhappy face.

"What's up?"

"Cleo's little sister Kim found out about us," she explained. "What if more people find out?"

"Just threaten her not to tell."

"We have! But I wouldn't bd surprised if she told people after we threatened to drown her," Rikki answered. "I can drive fast on a bike, swim in the middle of the night with sharks- I'm not scared of much Zayne, but being caught by some scientist would probably give me my first fear."

"If she tells anyo-" Zayne was cut off by a motorbike engine from behind them, up at the parking lot. They both turned to hear,

"Look at that piece of crap." Followed by a clanging sound, kind of like the sound of a motorbike being hit with something, but they just couldn't see the parking lot.

"Hey!" Zayne yelled angrily , standing up and hurrying up the sand, Rikki was close behind him. "Hey thats my bi-" Zayne was cut off by what he saw when he reached the parking lot.

A greasy blonde haired, teenage biker stood beside Zayne's bike, just infront of a second dark bike which a green haired girl sat upon.

"Hey Kitty, look at these two!" The guy laughed, pointing at Zayne and Rikki, but neither could speak. They were to surprised by the fact both the people in front of him were glowing faintly, as well as floating just above the ground.

Suddenly all the thoughts of Lewis' talk on Amity Park came to Rikki.

"Are you... Ghosts?"

"The glowing gives it away," The girl replied, winking at Zayne, who Rikki felt shiver.

"The names Johnny 13," the guy greeted, "and this is my girl, Kitty."

Rikki and Zayne were speechless, they simply stood silently side by side.

"Kitty got your tounge?" Kitty laughed, eyeing down Zayne. Johnny noticed what she was doing.

"Oh Kitty, cut it out," he demanded. She winked again. Johnny growled and ran to jump on his bike. "I knew I should've left you in the zone," then he hit a gas pedal and the speed off so quickly they simply disappeared.

Rikki and Zayne just stared after them, quite shaken.

AUTHORS NOTE/ RANT

Guys, I'm getting- no joke- ZERO reviews on this story.

I know my writing style has really down graded, but in trying to focus on school work plus the original novel in writing. This is just what I write on the school bus and when I have writers block for my novel, so the writing style isn't the greatest, I KNOW.

Basically though, I'd like to know that this story is being read and enjoyed otherwise I might as well just drop it.

I'm trying to update as much as possible because I was getting reviews to do that, but now I get no reviews at all.

sorry if I'm being annoying, but as you all know, writing takes a while and I know people are reading thanks to stats, but are you enjoying? What should I change? Where should the story go?

If you have ANYTHING help me out.

Please guys.

Happy Easter,

GracyFrostyPhantom
