Eddy lazily sat on his stomach eating popcorn unaware the glare he was receiving from his childhood rival. The teen hadn't even looked up at Kevin since Nazz dragged Eddward to her house to help find a movie. Kevin reached for one of the pillows his mother kept on the couch and with the force of many years of being a quarterback threw the pillow at an unexpecting Eddy. A resounding thump could be heard throughout the house. Kevin smirked at the look Eddy shot at him.

"What the fuck?" Eddy asked in a

matter of fact tone. Kevin smiled happy to have the brunettes undivided attention.

"Why the fuck didn't you go with Nazz?" Eddy looked flabbergasted at Kevin's anger.

"You're mad because I didn't walk your girlfriend to her house?" Eddy asked slightly annoyed. Kevin rolled his eyes and slapped his face.

"She's not my girlfriend anymore" the redhead told the dark haired teen as he went back to the popcorn. "She's not gonna be yours either if you keep ignoring her god damn hints." Eddy nearly choked. He coughed and sputtered before finally reaching his drink. The teen calmed himself and stared at the can of soda.

"I'm not gonna be her boyfriend." Eddy said after a moment of silence. Kevin was about to yell when he actually looked at Eddy. He sat against Kevin's couch looking sadly at his soda.

"I'm fat." The teen placed the can

on the coffee table that was moved next to him so the teens could sit on the floor. "and I'm an asshole. Nazz is pretty, smart and genuinely nice." Eddy took a sigh and stared at the ceiling. "I'm not worth her time." Kevin thought Eddy's words over before he spoke.

"Man...I don't know about all that. You a choice friend." Eddy eyed Kevin suspiciously. "Double D's lucky you're here." Kevin let his words sink into Eddy's mind. "You were there. You didn't have to be. You pulled him into your lap man. In front of the world. Cause you just didn't give a fuck. Edd was hurting and you wanted to help. You know how many of my football buddies would do that for any of their friends? None of them, and all that shit about your weight? You really think Nazz's gives a shit. She's into you." Kevin took a drink slightly embarrassed. "Not your pants size" Eddy sat in shock. Kevin Barr just gave him a pep talk to get Nazz.

"When she comes back take my car and go get snacks. Kiss her. Nazz would be putty in your hands if you did." Eddy nodded while taking another sip of soda. "She's not what you think...She's sorta sketchy and creepy...might be crazy man, I don't know, but she's like my sister or some shit. So be good to her." The brunette looked wide eyed at Kevin slightly afraid of Nazz before changing the subject.

"What about you and D?" Eddy asked unsure if he was crossing boundaries. Kevin rubbed his Temple. Was he that obvious?

"What about us?" Eddy swirled his soda around in the can.

"I see the way you look at him. You've keep your eyes on him. Ever since we were kids. I just wasn't sure what it was until today." Eddy said with a grin. "D keep his eyes on you too." Kevin looked at Eddy who had been looking at Kevin with a knowing smile.

"I won't push it till he's ready. He needs time because of his parents." The redhead said as he placed his head on the sofa.

"Your idea or his?" Kevin sighed and put his hands over his face. Why did Eddy have to ask.

"He doesn't know." Kevin answered answered. Eddy plopped his head on the sofa.

"So... How do you know he's not ready?" Eddy asked unsure whether this conversation was going anywhere.

"I won't make him deal with all this on top of everything else." The redhead pulled his cap off and ran his hand through his hair.

"I respect that." Eddy said after a moment. The brunette put his fist out for Kevin bump. The redhead grinned and bumped Eddy's fist. It was the first civilized conversation they had ever had. for the remainder of the wait the two sat and actually enjoyed each other's company as they talked.

"Did you miss us?" Nazz asked as she plopped down close to Eddy. Eddward covered a giggle as he sat on the couch and handed a pile of movies to Kevin. The redhead absentmindedly thumbed through the titles.

"You still good to go get snacks?" Kevin asked as he picked a movie and handed it back to Eddward for approval.

"Ya man." Eddy said with a smile. The brunette rubbed the back of his neck nervously. "Hey Nazz?" Eddy asked before being interrupted.

"Yes! I wanna go with you." The blonde gave Eddy her megawatt smile and pulled him from the ground.

"Nazz grab him my keys!" Kevin yelled out after the pair. "A-and there gone. In my car...What the fuck did I just do." Kevin sighed out and head once again found the couch. The redhead placed his hands over his eyes and sighed.

"Language Kevin." Eddward sounded close. The redhead slowly removed his hands and was face to face with those blue eyes he couldn't seem to keep put of his head. Eddward had laid across the couch on his stomach so he could put his face over Kevin's. The redhead couldn't help the blush that scattered across his face. The blue eyed teen had a - what Kevin swore was evil- smile. Eddward seemed a lot closer all the sudden and Kevin quickly gulped. The dark haired teen smiled liking the effect he was having on Kevin. Seconds passed before Eddward brought his finger out and tapped Kevin's nose.

"Boop" The dark haired teen said aloud before moving and putting an end to Kevin's misery. "It hasn't been just the two of us all day." Eddward said as he laid down on his back. "I like our us time." Kevin smiled. he liked their us time too.

"Wanna walk Tori?" The question. caused Eddward to roll over and look at the wall clock. It had only been 5 minutes since Nazz and Eddy left for snacks.

"What if they come back?" Kevin shrugged his shoulders. Nazz knew his house well enough to make herself more than comfortable and he really didn't think Eddy cared one way or another.

"I'm thinking they might be okay with the alone time." Kevin finally answered. Eddward thought it over. Tori hadn't been walked since the afternoon. She might enjoy the cool night air. This will give Eddy time to make his move.

"Fine." The ravenette answered as he lifted his body from the couch and headed to a sleeping Tori. Kevin smiled and followed suit while he sent a text to Nazz. It didn't take long for them to gather Tori. Eddward had a hand on his jacket when Kevin spoke up.

"Why don't you wear mine?" The smaller teen gave Kevin a questioning look.

"It's warmer." Kevin didn't dare look at Eddward.

"What about you? It's still rather cold outside." Eddward keep his eyes glued to the redhead who was currently pulling his hat down past his eyes.

"I got my coat. You don't." Eddward sighed at Kevin's short responses.

"That is true." Eddward announced quickly as he instead grabbed Kevin's letterman jacket and snuggled up in it.

"Nazz said you looked cute in my jacket." The statement surprised both teens who stared at each other awkwardly. Kevin slipped his arms into his coat and wondered why he was so nervous. He was never nervous with the girls he had persuade. "I think you look cute in it too." The teen chimed out with a surge of bravery.

"T-thank you." Eddward stammered out nervously. Both teens quickly removed themselves from the house and into the nice cool air. Tori happily wagged her tail as she walked with Kevin and Eddward down to the creek. She was happy, and so were her owners.

Eddy and Nazz sat in Kevin's car in complete silence. Brown eyes focused nervously on the road. Eddy didn't dare look at the beautiful blonde girl sitting in the passenger seat. The beauty tapped on her exposed legs softly. She too was nervous as many different thoughts danced through her head. Nazz first sorta relationship was a bust. She wasn't to surprised that Kevin hadn't been that fairytale ending. Looking back she just sorta started things with him out of pressure. Pressure from her cheer squad, the football team, hell everyone really. Even she wanted the all American love story, but then walked in Eddy. With his stupid cute smile, and the way his eyes twinkle when he's looking at jawbreakers, and He's stupid obnoxious loud laugh. At first these were things Nazz hadn't noticed and they had been chemistry partners for half a year and shared 4 other classes on top. Eddy was always the same loud, sometimes rude, con artist in the blonde girl's eyes. in fact she honestly found him to be annoying like most people in her school did. But then something happened. Something big. Eddy best friend suffered the loss of his parents in probably the worst way imaginable. Eddy in response shut down. He was no longer loud and scheming. Eddy simply sat in his classes with his head in his hands as he stared at his papers. He spent days like this. Eddy hadn't opened his mouth once until Max opened his. the blonde football player loudly spoke about Eddward's parent's death like it was some joke for his amusement. His little lackeys laughed and joined in. It snapped, what little patience Eddy had like a twig. within seconds, and everyone's surprise the normally considered wuss of the school had Max Carson the biggest guy on the football team slammed hard against the wall by his throat. A feat Nazz had only seen done by Kevin. Max's boys sat stunned in their chairs as they listened to Eddy scream "SHUT THE FUCK UP." while Max struggled to breath. Nazz had quickly found her way to Eddy's side. She slowly placed a calming hand on the teens arm.

"Eddy. Let him go. Double D would be mad." The teen obeyed and let Max slump to the ground while he breathed in as much oxygen as his lungs could take. Eddy breathed hard as he stared down at the blonde he had just almost strangled. Nazz slipped one of her hands into Eddy's and lightly pulled.

"I wanna go to the park." She said softly. Eddy nodded and the pair left. hand in hand. they left Max still on the floor, left class, left the school, and went to the park. They sat in silence on the swings. The cheerleader and the outcast.

"I'm sorry." Eddy finally said after an hour of sitting. Nazz glanced at the teen next to her.

"Why?" She wasn't sure what Eddy was sorry for, but She hoped it wasn't for Max.

"For dumping soda on your skirt." Nazz rose a brow and looked down. Sure enough a brown stain sat on her perfectly white skirt. It must of been the diet coke on her desk. Nazz laughed and so did Eddy. It was the first time she had ever noticed Eddy for anything other than the annoying kid in the class. They talked for hours. about nothing and everything all at once. By the end of the night Nazz had fallen for Eddy. Hard. And she had no idea she had.

A soft vibration tore the blonde from her thoughts. It was her phone and with a hum Nazz took a curious look at what the device had to offer.

"Kevin says that him and Double D are taken Tori for a walk." Eddy glanced at Nazz as he pulled into the gas station. A knowing smile on his face.

"Figures." Eddy answered smile still present on his face. Nazz blushed a bit. she really loved his smile, and it was hard not stare. She let a nervous giggle vibrate through her chest.

"Dude, right." Nazz sighed. Why was she so nervous. She hadn't been nearly as nervous when she kissed Kevin.

"Hey, Nazz?" The blonde turned her head and looked at the source of her name. Eddy was inches away.

"What?" She managed to squeak out as her heartbeat filled her ears. Eddy gave Nazz that smile and placed her chin in his hand before bringing his lips to hers in a soft sweet kiss. It was fireworks, and church bells, sirens, and everything Nazz had ever wanted in a kiss and more. Before Nazz had a chance to understand what was truly happening she depend the kiss and found herself sitting on her knees in Kevin's car making out with Eddy in front of a convenient store. His hand found its way on Nazz's waist causing shivers to run down the girl's spine. Finally they pulled apart for air, and Eddy placed his forehead on Nazz's.

"Nazz, we gotta stop." Nazz sighed sadly wanting more. "Kevin and I are actually kinda good now, but I feel like if he could see us... In his car...He would pound me." Nazz had to agree, but she was still sad. she held tightly to Eddy's hoodie and pouted.

"Eddy?" Nazz said as she pulled him into a quick kiss. "Be my boyfriend." It wasn't really a question it was a demand. Eddy smiled and kissed Nazz back.

"Yes ma'am." Nazz liked that answer, she liked it a quite a lot.
