Chapter 8 Demons 4

A/N This is a short chapter. Sorry guys DX I'm in the middle of ACT testing and for those of you who don't know that can either make or break the rest of my life. The hiatus will last for a few more weeks (or until I get my history grade up) but I should have plenty more chapters to upload then. Also, for those reading "Game Over" I'm afraid I'm going to have to make a new timeline and everything so that'll take a little while longer to start up again. Any way….enjoy~!

The British demon was sick and tired of this foster home.

He'd been given a brief moment of control before Peter's angel pushed away. Ever sense then he'd been floating around being mad at everything and everyone, especially so when he heard about the school change.

Rodrich had warned against it, but nobody listened to the demons.

Begrudgingly (and not without a good fight) he went to hetalia high to see if there was any toys worth playing with. One in particular had blue eyes, blond hair and a certain innocence about him that begged to be ruined. The demon licked his lips. Oh yes, he would do nicely for a plaything. But as he moved to begin his game, his new found toy in white was blocked his path.

"Where do you think you're going?"

Hm. American. This angel must have been his toy's. Since they were practically identical this gave the British demon a chance to examine the details of his game piece. He was lean with a bit of baby fat clinging to his cheek bones and hips giving him enough depth to look handsome but not over weight. His voice sounded one that liked to laugh and added with the glasses gave off an overall boyish charm. But while his human was jabbering away, the angel kept his glare stark and cold. Arthur's demon loved the contrast.

Perhaps the angel was a better toy.

"Arthur D. Kirkland" he held out his hand ignoring the question completely.

The angel eye it carefully before taking the extended appendage in a python's grip. "Alfred F. Jones"

"Hello Alfred~" Arthur D. cooed. "Do you believe in love at first sight? Or should I walk by again?"

A fist made contact with his eye and Arthur was on the ground. "Do you believe in cupid? Or should I hit you again?"

"I was trying to be nice, bloody american angel."

"Oh, um…" Alfred helped him up. "I was getting a bad aura off you."

"Believe me it's not mutual." Arthur tried charm again.

Alfred grimminced. "What do you want?"

"I saw your human over there and thought his demon would be a joy to make mischief with. but it seems you've wiped him clear from my mind."

A faint blush tinted Alfred A.'s cheeks and he choughed to the side. A feral smile crossed Arthur's lips very briefly.

This was going to be so. Much. Fun.

As the school year progressed, the two humans got close through classes, after school activities and how Alfred was one of the two students (the other being Francis) who found the Brit charming and likeable (and teaseable for his eyebrows). This made their guardians grow close as well much to the Angels' dismay and the Demons' pleasure.

Arthur's demon harassed Alfred's angel with mirthless glee. If the flirting didn't get that pretty blush to show the looks he gave did. He tried to ignore how useless and bored he felt when Alfred wasn't there. Or how pissed he'd been when he'd mistaken the Canadian's angel for Alfred. His toy was meant solely to entertain him. That was all.

So when Alfred's demon gave him a proposition, he had to listen.

It was a typical day. Arthur tormenting his toy with cheeky pick up lines and predatory glances while the humans argued about manners among mixed cultures, when Alfred D. showed up. Giving the Alfred A. the opportunity to flee.

"What do you want?" Arthur growled. "You let my toy get away."

"Didn't anybody teach you not to play with your food?" Alfred grinned. "Besides, I have a much better game to play."

"I'm listening." Arthur's lips curled.

And that's how this whole mess started.

Alfred's game sounded rather simplistic. The idea was first to make the other's angel fall in love with them wins. But it's implications were more complicated than that which made this game that much more fun. The thought of leading an angel on, only to abandon him was enough to make Arthur giddy. He would thoroughly enjoy this.

A/N: Ok so I hope this makes the characters easier to keep track of. If the middle initial is a "D" it means they're a demon and if it's "A" they're an angel. Any other letter or no middle name makes them human. Also, if the chapter is "Angels (fill in number here) It's Arthur A. P.O.V. like wise with demons only it's Arthur D. P.O.V.

And now begins a few weeks of silence. See you guys next update!
