Sorry for taking so long on this chapter, I got side tracked :3

At promptly 9 PM, a hooded figure entered the lone pub of Teufort. Avoiding contact with the other patrons, he skirted the edge of the center crowd and sat at the corner of the bar.

"It's about time you got here."

The hooded man put down his hood and turned to the Texan next to him, "Ah had to finish closin up my workshop."

Regan shook his head, "Fine, but what's with the get up?"

Dell tugged at the edge of his robe, "The Administrator keeps real close tags on me, wouldn't want her ta get suspicious a my leavin."

"Alrighty then. So, how's life?"

Dell called over the bar tender and ordered two beers, "Whadda ya mean how's life?"

"Like, what've you been up to all these years?"

Dell sighed, "Well, Ah finished all my schoolin, ended up with eleven PhDs, all in science. Then went on to work for this oil drillin company. After that, Ah got a summon to come here an take up the 'family business' Ah suppose."

"This's yer family business?"

Dell nodded, "Yeah, my family's been workin for BLU for three generations."

"Dang. Did ya wanna work fer BLU?"

"Well, kinda. It ain't somethin ya take lightly. Ya know, killin for a livin. Guess it ain't too bad though. Ah was raised around that kinda stuff. My parents always taught me that'cha kill who has to be killed an that's that. No sense cryin over it. Why'd you join though?"

Regan readjusted his position on the barstool, "Ah din have much of a choice in joinin. See, Ah still had a lotta debt from school an Ah'd just gone an gotten myself fired from this oil rig Ah'd worked on, so it was either this or workin the family farm."

Dell raised an eyebrow, "How'd ya get fired from the rig?"

"Heh, Ah was actually lookin to get fired, so Ah went an changed everybody's computer password to Regan. While everybody was runnin around frantic tryin ta get into their computer, Ah sat there playin a game Ah'd programmed."

"An they fired ya for that?"

Regan leaned back as best he could in the barstool, "Well, let's just say that's what /got/ me fired."

"Ah see...so, RED. How's that workin out for ya?"

Regan took a quick swing of his beer, "It's, uh, interesting. My team's still actin shy. We don really talk much an dinner is awkward as hell. The only one who really talks to me is Scout, but he ain't the kind ta make for decent conversation. Ah've tried talkin to our doc, but his English ain't too great. For the most part though, our team's pretty quiet. Ah make dinner on Fridays an a couple of us play cards on Saturday. Spy normally ends up taking a nice sweep a the board, but Soldier's come close to beating him once or twice."

Dell slumped onto the bar, "My team don interact much. We kinda keep to ourselves an are only together when one of us decides to cook. Ah've only really talked to our Spy an Ah think it's just because he's my roommate. He's pretty interesting though. He'll tell me stories about his life an Ah'll make sure we both eat for the night."

"How 'bout free time?"

"Same as always-"

Regan smiled, "-buildin."

"Yeah."

Dell sat in silence just to enjoy the company of his friend. It was nice to have some companionship in TeuFort's lonely desert. Even if they wouldn't have much of a chance to talk, it was comforting to know that somewhere on that battlefield was a friend. Somehow, it helped. Somehow, it made him feel less alone. And above all, it meant that in a way, he had a family again.

Well, I think that's it on his story for now. I may reopen it if another idea comes to me, but for now, that's that. Please tell me what you think and bay all means, I would not be opposed to suggestions... Thank you for reading this fic all the way through!
