(Too lazy to put this up again, ha. Too many good songs that work. XP )
Summary: It's been months since you became a true blue (ok, maybe not blue exactly) member of the NDC. But you can't hide from HIM forever...
The past is catching up, and time is running out...
What will you do now...?
Genre(s): Romance, General, Fantasy, Tragedy or Hurt/Comfort, and possibly Horror and Suspense.
Pairing: HibariXOC and past OCXOC
A/N: Once again, original at the bottom. Unfortunately, it's unsure whether or not I'll continue this, but if I do, then it'll either be reformatted or reposted elsewhere.
Again, we'll see... I'm somewhat fond of this story, after all... sort of. Haven't done 2nd POV in too long, so I suppose we'll see if I ever get around to updating this...if I can even type up the next chapter... orz Ah well, enjoy the two chapters posted, either way. :) I'll type when I have time, and we'll see what happens.
0- You Are The Only One: Chapter Seven -0
The Match for the Guardian of the Lightning has begun. Why do you know this? Because Reborn ended training early today.
Of course he would go to all the battles, but you shrug it off, and practice a little more, training with knives, the classic kunai, and the like.
Where that baby gets all these weapons you have no idea -and you don't really want to know either.
Finally, after almost a full hour of practice, you look up. You're sure the battle's started, but you see nothing...
Nothing at all coming from the direction of the school. You just hope that Kyouya doesn't get too upset about any damage (he'll be sure to take it out on you if -no, when- he finds out that you were part of it)...
You sigh, wiping some sweat off from the workout, and start gathering your weapons, cleaning and putting them away as you go...
Your main weapons have been upgraded as well, and are sharper, more compact for when you have to wear them.
When stored away, they look like plain old black wristbands -a miracle considering how large the weapons are when brought out, and the new steel and whatever he (Reborn) said thin almost thread like chains that would have to be in there are well. The chains seem to be thread thin and malleable, but after much testing, you've discovered that they are much stronger than they look, much like wires.
You've seen them in use, but can't really use them yourself (too complicated, in your mind) and you refuse to -too much chance of hurting yourself.
You don't need to walk around trying gather wires only to have your head lopped off by a stray wire. Nooo thank you!
The next day, you go to school, relieved not to see any damage. But, of course, you're then told that it's just an illusion and groan.
"You are going to fix this... right?" you muttered to Reborn.
He nods, "Of course."
You sigh in relief, but you don't see anyone else. Kyoko is here, and she's been glancing at you.
Probably because of the night before when she had come with that other annoying girl to the Sun match.
You hear that 'Lambo', the kid chosen for the match last night is extremely hurt and comatose, and you can't help but feel a stirring of pity.
You try for a smile, but you know it's a bit awkward. You decide not to go. After all, the kid's a stranger, and you don't exactly have any free time to spare as it is.
Kyoko smiles sadly, and you feel a little bad, "But, uh, I'll walk to the hospital with you if you'd like," you offer. You haven't talked to many girls since last year, and it still feels a bit odd.
Her smile brightens somewhat, and you can't help but like the girl. She was just so sincere...
Naive, and a little stupid, yes, but sincere, and kind...
And you just can't hate her...
The Maroon-haired one from before though... you think, twitching slightly as you meet her again on the way...
You wouldn't mind if she hadn't existed in the first place -oh, you wouldn't wish death to her, but she was just so... so annoying!
As soon as you reach the building, you make some excuses and leave, sighing when you're far enough, and head home.
You still have homework, and you've been collecting work for most of the others.
Man, such a pain...
Night again.
You've trained since a little before sunset, and its the 'Octopus/tako -head's turn you remember.
Battle of the Storm. Again, Reborn leaves, and you train for just a bit more before heading home.
And again, you can't help but feel uneasy... so you decide to run after Reborn a few minutes after he leaves...
You just have a really bad feeling tonight...
You hope nothing too bad happens.
A/N: Yo all! Gonna try to update -hopefully the cramps'll subside, but I'll do my best~
If this chapter isn't as good as any of the others or as usual, then there are a plethora of reasons I don't feel like explaining... (o..o)
But anyway, next chapter! ^^ The Storm battle through your eyes! XD
Sorry for taking so long to update~ DX
