Blossom and Brick where still up. "Brick, what happened when you were in Alex's head?"
"You shouldn't be here." Alex warned.
Brick rolled his eyes. "Alex, I told you. I'm real."
Alex sighed. "No, I mean you shouldn't be here. As in this particular part of my mind."
"I won't tell anyone. Promise."
"What happened?" Brick asked.
Alex let out a breath. "Why are you still here? I don't want you here."
"James is worried about you."
"What is it you saw?" Alex asked.
Brick grabbed Alex's arm and pulled up the sleeves. There was a long scar. "She had this on her arm."
"Alex is being haunted by a dream that's also a memory," Blossom stated.
"I would tell you more." Alex said.
"Are you okay?" Alex asked James.
"Yeah, just shocked that's all." James answered.
"Don't you think what happened to Alex is a big deal?" Brick asked.
James was shocked to hear this. "She told you?"
"James! Don't scare me like that!" Alex scolded. James stood next to her bed. Then sat down.
"What happened in the dream?" James voice was cracked. "I'm your friend. I deserve to know."
Alex sighed. "You're right. Fine."
"No, I figured it out," Brick answered James. "What if the guy comes back?"
"They won't come back."
"James?" Alex called out thinking he was there.
"Who are you?"
James held Alex tightly. "The longer you hold it in, the more likely you'll explode."
"I just had a bad dream." James said. Alex pulled away from him. She pushed him on the bed with her lips on his.
Alex was pinned down with wide eyes.
"If they did come back Alex would recognize them."
Brick's eyes widen. "No she wouldn't. I never saw anyone there."
"What do you want" Alex demanded.
"Your sister is hurt. She needs you." Someone spoke in Bricks head.
"Blossom, you and Brick are being hunted down by an unmentionable darkness. Brick's sister was attacked. She'll be slowly dying soon. Brick you have to protect her."
"I feel as though I could trust you." Alex told Brick.
Alex pulled James in to a tight embrace. Body trembling and screaming.
"You're bleeding." James said.
"I don't think we can trust Alex and James." Boomer said. "Something bad always happens."
"Awe, no tears. Last time you were crying up a storm."
"Last time I was weak."
"Until next time." The guy stood and disappeared.
"But I am just tired of reliving that day." Alex choked.

James held Alex's hand as they walked down stairs. They looked over to the right and saw Brick and Blossom sleeping. Brick was on the floor, Blossom on the couch.
"I guess Brick lost." Alex spoke. Her voice quiet and ruff.
"Yeah, I guess." James looked down to her. He smiled slightly. "Come on." James walked the rest of the way downstairs and brought her to the kitchen.
Alex looked around. "Why are we here? Shouldn't we be, I don't know, at Mrs. Millers?"
James opened a few cabinets. He didn't answer her question. Finley James found the cabinet that wouldn't budge.
"James?" Alex asked. She saw him knock some sort of beat and the cabinet pushed out.
James looked back at Alex. Her mouth hung open as she stared at what was in front of her. The cabinet extended out about four feet. There were two shelves and it glowed blue.
"What is that?" Alex asked. James smiled.
"Alex, I need to look at that cut." James said. He picked Alex up and sat her on the counter. James looked at her neck. "Is that a bite mark?" Alex only nodded. "What on earth happened?"
Alex took a deep breath. "Alittleafteryouleftitriedtogotosleepbutonceistartedtozoneoutiheardthedooropenandithoughtitwasyoubutitwasntandtheguystartedtokissmeandhewastostrongformeandibithislipsohebitmyneckthenwhenigotonehandfreeihithimbuthestabbedmyleftsideandhewasgannagofartherbuthensaidhehadtoleaveandsohegotoffmeandnotobeminutelaterdidyoucomein." Alex said in one breath. James blinked. "Did you get that?"
James shook his head. "Your mouth was traveling a thousand miles an hour. Alex, that took you five seconds to say!"
Alex sighed. "Here I'll just repeat it." James prepared himself for another ambush of words. Alex took a deep breath and said, "A little after you left I tried to go to sleep but once I started to zone out I heard the door open and I thought it was you but it wasn't and the guy started to kiss me and he was too strong for me and I bit his lip so he bit my neck then when I got one hand free I hit him but he stabbed my left side and he was goanna go farther but then said he had to leave and so he got off me and not one minute later did you come in." Alex's face turned red.
"And you were nervous to tell me that?" James asked. Alex only spoke fast when she's nervous. "Okay. Remove your shirt."
Alex looked perplexed. "What? No!"
James had a poker face on as he looked at Alex. "I just need to patch you up." And to prove it James grabbed some cloth from the self. "Take your shirt off."
"No."
"Alex," James said in a warning tone.
"James," Alex said in the exact same tone.
"You need to take your shirt off," James started.
"I'm not going to." Alex protested.
"Yes you are or I will."
"You're not going to take my shirt off." By now the two started arguing at the same time.
"Alex you have to take your shirt off."
"I can do what I want I don't need you telling me what to do."
"I don't think you're understanding me."
"Ugh, you're so infuriating."
"You could be infected for all I know."
"This isn't the first time I've been Injured it's not a big deal."
"Why won't you listen to me?" The two yelled at the same time. "I am listening to you! I get the last word! No you don't! Yes I do! Damn!"
Alex crossed her arms and looked away from James. James turned his body around and glared at nothing with crossed arms.
"Whoa," the two turned to where the voice came from.
Everyone was in the door way staring at the two friends. Butch had a smirk on his face while Buttercup tried not to laugh. Bubbles might as well of had hearts in her eyes and Boomer stared with amusement. Blossom seemed to be working on a puzzle as to what was going on and Brick stared at Alex.
"That was one heck of a show." Butch said. "Wish I had a camera." Brick smacked him upside the head. "Ow! What did I do?"
While Brick rolled his eyes Blossom asked, "What happened?"
James looked to Alex then back to Blossom. "Alex was just in a small accident. Nothing too big. Just a scratch and a cut."
"Really?" Blossom said. She wasn't convinced. James nodded. "Okay... Everyone back to bed." She ordered. "We have school in four hours." There were a few groans but slowly everyone left. Everyone but Brick.
"So what really happened?" He asked.
"Nothing." Alex replied calmly. Though panic was clear in her eyes.
Brick raised an eyebrow. He walked closer to the two and gestured towards Alex's neck. "Nothing? That's a fuckin bite mark!" He hissed.
Alex touched her neck. It was no longer bleeding, but it stung like crazy. "Why is this such a big deal? Does no one remember me falling five hundred freakin' feet?"
James sighed. Brick looked at James expecting an answer. "She was attacked." James said casually.
"Dude!" Alex exclaimed.
"By who?" Brick asked.
James shook his head. "We don't know."
Brick nodded. He looked at Alex who stared back. Brick's eyes traveled down then back up. "You're bleeding."
Alex looked down and saw that the top of her shirt had blood on it. James was now lifting Alex off the counter and sat her back on the floor. He took Alex's shirt off and got a bandage.
"Oh no, it's not weird for me to be shirtless in front if two guys. One being my friend and the other a stranger." Alex said sarcastically. James rolled his eyes and Brick looked away.
"Alex," James said. Alex looked to him and saw that he was gesturing to her bra.
Alex looked down seeing how the left side of her sports bra was bathing in blood. She glanced back up to James and then back down. That's when it clicked.
"No," Alex started. James gave her a look causing Alex to shake her head. "No no no. Not happening."
"Come on Alex, what's the worst that could happen?" James asked.
"Ah gee, I don't know. Maybe the fact that you'll have that image in your head for a long time to come."
James shook his head. "I doubt that's what I want in my head." When Alex still refused James took a deep breath. "Alex please, you're going to lose a lot of blood."
Alex knew he was right. She slowly lifted her bra above her head. Once it was off she could see how the inside was soaked. Alex looked over to Brick, his face was red to the ear and he avoided looking at her. James, however, starred. Not in a lustful way, but one of worry. She couldn't blame him. She never knew what would happen if she were to receive an injury to her breasts.
"We," James started. He cleared his throat seeing as to his voice was unusually high. "We should patch that up. Question is, how."
Alex's jaw dropped. "Are you serious?"
Brick finally looked at Alex. "I can tell you." James turned away from Alex and at Brick. He nodded his head and Brick came closer.
"Well, can you hurry? I'm freezing." Alex complained. It was bad enough she was shirtless and braless in front of two hormonal teenaged boys.
After an hour Alex's chest was cleaned and wrapped. Her neck had a band aid on it and she was wearing James's shirt.
Alex yawned. She lost a lot of blood with in the last 24 hours. Her eyes began to get heavier and heavier by the second. Then she blacked out.
James held Alex in his arms. "Thanks," he said to Brick. Brick nodded his head.
"So, Alex was attacked in her own room. How? Wouldn't we have seen him?" Brick asked.
"No. From what Alex told me, he seemed to have disappeared in the dark; Just moments before I reached the door. She had no idea how the guy got in. Alex usually knows when someone's near her or looking at her." James explained. Brick nodded his head. "You should go to sleep. It's been a long night for you."
"Yeah, you should too." Brick said. He looked at Alex and placed a hand on her forehead. "Night, Alex." It took a few seconds until Brick realized what was going on. He quickly removed his hand and shook his head. He saw the look James was giving him. "What? Just being nice." And with that said he quickly left to go and sleep on the floor.
James smiled slightly. "Who knows," he said to himself. "Maybe these two are connected in a way." He walked up the stairs and into his room. He laid Alex down before settling in next to her. This way if she had a nightmare, or if someone were to come, she would have him.

Mrs. Miller had been pacing for an hour in her office. She was in deep thought and worry about some of her students. Mrs. Miller stopped suddenly as the room began to be filled with black mist.
"You know it's a terrible habit of pacing." A demonic male voice said behind her. Just the sound of his sickening voice made her feel Ill and filed her with hatred.
"What do you want?" Mrs. Miller hissed. She didn't turn around. For she knew no one was there.
A hollow chuckle filled the room. "Come now Sparkle. We both know that I don't need to answer that."
"It's still worth asking." Her voice stood strong. Though the demonic voice was right. She already knew why he was here.
"Very well." Wind blew Sparkle's long white hair around. "It's about that girl you took in five years ago."
"What did you do to her?"
Another chuckle filled the room. "Oh, I didn't do anything; Just one of her rappers." Mrs. Miller couldn't seem to stop her eyes from growing. "Ah, so it appears I have surprised you. And I thought your eye would have seen it coming."
"Even if I had, there would be no stopping it." Sparkle's aqua eyes fixed on her desk. "I know your there."
A second later a male appeared sitting on her desk. He had brown skin and shaggy black hair. His eyes were black and fixed on Sparkle. His smile was wicked and held a few sharp teeth. He seemed to have resembled night and death.
"It's been far too long, hasn't it?" He started.
Mrs. Miller glared. "Cut the small talk and tell me why you're here."
"Fine." The man stood up and walked over to Sparkle. His eyes stared into hers. "I'm coming back for what's mine."
"And if you shall fail to get what you want?"
The man chuckled. "I always get what I want." He whispered. "And what I want is to see my daughter."
Sparkle rolled her eyes. "Just your daughter? Not even your sons?"
His face hardened. Then he smiled. "I don't think that's necessary. They are more like their mother."
"Even after they turned into the 'neighborhood bad boys?' They seemed evil to me." Mrs. Miller smirked.
"Yes, well. That doesn't matter. They're good kids. Now, my daughter, on the other hand, isn't. And I know that she will not fail me."
Sparkle glared up at the man In front of her. "She has good in her. I know she won't do what you want her to."
The demonic voice filled the room again as the man said, "You know what she is capable of. And it's too late. Darkness will consume the young girl. She's spent half her life beside it." The man seemed to have known that Mrs. Miller would need more convincing. "You know she feels safer in the dark. There she has an advantage. And death, she loves it. Watching it on TV entertains her. She's been hurt her whole life. Do you really think she would choose the good side? Knowing how everyone of all kinds would treat her?"
Mrs. Miller glared. Her jaw clenched and her hands turned to fists. She looked ready to fight as her left foot shifted back slightly.
"You did those things to her." Mrs. Miller snarled. "You're the one who left her to a family of drunken drug addicts. Because of your doing there is no doubt in my mind that she'll join you." The guy smirked in satisfaction, but it disappeared as Sparkle said, "however, she has found the light. She has a friend, who loves her more than anything. And I'm not just talking about friendship wise. I mean that he is in love with her."
The man sighed. "Love is a powerful thing. But it's also a curse." He had an evil glint in his eyes. "I guess I'll have to wait to get my daughter. Until next time, dear sister." Black mist surrounded Sparkle and a laugh surrounded her.
Once he was gone Mrs. Miller let out a breath. "I won't let him get you, Alex. I promise to do my best for your sake."

Brick couldn't go back to sleep got several reasons. One being that voice that was in his head saying he had a sister. Two being someone was able to get into the house and attacked someone. Then finally three being Alex. Just her in general. It was weird how much he seemed to have cared for her. All he wants is to know what happened.
Brick thought for a while. Then after piecing something's together he came to a realization. "Alex is my sister," he whispered to himself. "Oh my god, I have a sister."
Brick began thinking to himself how he couldn't have known. He realized now how much she resembled him and his brothers. Fierce attitude, low temper, twitching, sweet and caring, sarcastic, bossy. It was all there. Brick never understood why his brothers and he didn't look alike. But Alex seemed to have all of them rolled up in one. Brick didn't like to be racist, but her skin color was different from them. Then again she does look biracial.
All of these answers Brick was giving himself only led to more questions. Like, who were his parents? How did they end up down on earth? Why wasn't Alex with them? Where did she end up? How come she didn't have powers like them? How old is she? Is she hiding her powers?
So many questions gave Brick a headache. Sighing Brick rolled onto his side and closed his eyes. He decided that some sleep would do him justice.

James was in the same position as Brick. He thought about how someone was able to get in here without anyone knowing? Who and what was this dark force and why is it after Alex?
James took a deep breath before wrapping his arms around Alex. He held her close as his eyes grew heavy. Then his breathing was calm and in sync with Alex's.
