A/N
I started to write a really long note here but figure I would spare you all. Bottom line is: I want to try to get more of this story out for those of you whom are enjoying it. But I keep thinking I need to rewrite the first few chapters as my writing ability as improved somewhat since I started and I don't believe they are good enough. So I am asking you, the readers, for some assistance. I need some sincere and constructive feedback. How are the characters coming out? Am I doing ok in the dialogue department? Do you think I should revamp the first few chapters because they are too weak? Hopefully this will be taken seriously and not misconstrued as me begging for reviews, PM me if you would rather. I want to keep writing this but need to you all's thoughts and opinions on the matter.
In the meantime this is roughly a third of the next chapter I had planned as a bit of a snack to tide you over. Enjoy

Terry shifted his end of Harry's trunk to his other hand and peeked into another compartment. Not finding who they were looking for he set off for the next car.
"You don't think Draco forgot about us do you?" Harry asked from his end of the trunk as he stopped to close the inner door behind them.
"Naw, I get the feeling that our meeting wasn't something he could easily forget." Terry replied with a bit of a laugh.
"True." Harry confirmed with a smile of his own. They checked a few more compartments before Terry was forced to swing over to Harry's side of the hall in order to let a few people pass from the other direction. Once they had started moving again Harry spoke up.
"Do you think he will mind that we invited Ron and Ginny to join us?" The question made Terry blink, he hadn't thought of that. (A Malfoy and two Weasleys walked into a train compartment. Please don't let there be a punch line to this joke…)
"Let's hope not." This obviously wasn't the answer Harry was hoping for because he stopped dead in his tracks and fixed Terry with a worried look.
"Uhh… What I meant to say was that I'm sure it won't be a problem at all." Terry amended quickly. It was easy to see that Harry hadn't believed him but he shook his head and moved on regardless. Terry quickly checked the next compartment on his side without breaking stride only to have his arm jarred as the trunk refused to follow. Looking back over his shoulder he found the reason. Harry had stopped in front of the previous set of compartments staring transfixed into the window. (The others must be in there then. Guess I better go in first. ) Terry made it to the compartment just in time to see the seventh year inside finish zipping up her skirt. Quickly realizing that Harry had gotten a bit of a show he gave a light cough to bring him back to reality. It worked as the raven haired boy tore his gaze away from the window blushing furiously. Unfortunately the sound had also attracted the attention of the girl inside as she stopped tucking in her shirt to stare in confusion at door. Seeing his amused look and Harrys embarrassed one she quickly turned to look at the windows behind her. Finding that they were indeed all covered she looked back to the door and covered her eyes with a hand trying to hide her embarrassment.
"I can't believe I forgot to pull the door blind again!" Terry was barely able to make out the muffled voice through the door. (Again? Guess that explains why we haven't been hexed yet.) Visibly shaking herself she shot a grin at the two first years before running a hand through her short brown hair, which suddenly turned spikey and very pink, she then struck a pose that would put some fashion models to shame. Tossing Terry a playful wink she added. "Take a picture, it will last longer." Causing him to laugh and Harry to blush even harder. (Leave it to Tonks to play it up like that) Winking back Terry slid the door open a crack before speaking.
"Sorry about that, we were looking for our friends and happened to look in at the wrong…" He paused, thinking. "Or maybe the right moment, depending on how you look at it." She gave small laugh and Terry turned to prod Harry in the rib with an elbow.
"Go on; apologize to the pretty lady so we can get out of her hair." He told the other boy with a grin. Harry mumbled a quick apology, unable to look her in the eye. She just waved it off.
"It's my own fault, It seems to happen every other year or so." She said with a bit of a huff. "Are you two firsties then?"
"Yep." Terry confirmed, Harry just nodded.
"Enjoy it while you can." She told them with a grin. "The closer you get to graduation the more miserable the work becomes. The professors really crackdown on you in fifth and seventh year so you don't really get much time to relax then."
"Sounds fun." Harry replied in a dry tone that said he thought otherwise. Terry couldn't help but snicker.
"Nice pep talk." Terry told her with a smile. "As you can see we are now super excited to start our first out of seven years at a closed campus boarding school in the middle of nowhere."
"Cheeky brats." She growled at them but was smiling none the less. Moving to the door she began shooing them on their way, talking the whole time.
"Hogwarts is a wonderful and magical place, blah blah blah, best years of your life, insert sappy story here; I wouldn't trade my time there for anything. Now scram and find those friends of yours, and I'll see you around this year."
Both boys were laughing by the time she had finished and barely had time to say their goodbyes to the spikey haired girl before she closed the door on them, cutting off her muttered comments about how she didn't remember being that cheeky in her first year. Grinning to each other they both reclaimed an end of Harry's trunk and set off again.
They were halfway through the next car when Terry finally spotted Draco. Not knowing who else was in the compartment with him Terry decided to knock rather than just burst in unannounced. Draco looked up at the sound and seeing them outside quickly gestured for them to enter.
~Sigh~ Its bite sized I know... Hope it made you giggle at least. Until next time then.
