Sorry, for the late Update, but here is Chapter Nine. I re-read it and noticed an error in Chapter one where it says something about Jason not going with the Penguins often at all.
Anyways, please enjoy this Chapter!
The crew walked in silence for the next thirty minutes. Jason's mind was racing with thoughts and predictions. Only about 27 percent of them were actually good. Midgel still lead the way. He studied each spec of land, each life form they passed to make sure that they were all good.
They hadn't at the moment seen any clue to help them figure out where Uncle Blobb was, or any ideas that they could use to stop him. The forest seemed safe, there were not many people wandering around that could hurt them and it was also dark, to avoid any attackers. The penguins figured that not everybody was exposed to the mind-control by Uncle Blobb. There had to be an assortment of people that were in their own minds. Sadly, the population of those who were taken over severely outnumbered them. People are almost always around electronics, and no matter what kind of electrical item, Uncle Blobb was able to use it to control everybody.
Midgel took a turn and then pushed an assortment of very large weeds out of the way. There they saw that they were in a forest behind a school. Jason could make out that the school was close to a city due to very busy highways and a few buildings in the distance. Jason gulped as Midgel directed them back into the forest.
"What do we do?" Jason asked. "We never thought to think ahead after your outburst Midgel. We just stood in silence."
Midgel looked around nervously. "Um...anyone else have any plans? Fidgel? Kevin? Zidgel?"
Zidgel looked back at Midgel and sighed. "I don't know, I never think any further than my own hair...right Midgel?" Midgel's eyes widened. "Right?"
"I'm not going to answer that one." The other Penguins, Jason, and BING had no clue what they could do. Nearly the whole planet was taken over by Uncle Blobb, and they were the most wanted outlaws in the entire world. Jason thought of one quick idea:
"Get caught?" The Penguins jumped. Jason shrugged. "Yeah, then we could figure out how to stop him when we are all at his view." Fidgel gave a small twitch of the eye.
"Well um...Jason...there are more possibilities than that. What if they just kill us once they see us...or what if he is able to actually get us under his control? What could happen then?"
"Well...I dunno," Jason said. "It is just-" They all jumped up without hesitation once they heard voices coming from further into the forest. Jason didn't hesitate to run either. He ran past the weeds and towards the school. Kevin about spoke but Fidgel put his flipper over the big guy's beak. They all ran, following Jason to the school.
The school was a rather large red-brick structure. They could only the see the back of it, but they noticed that they could hide from anyone in the forest by backing up towards a wall that went inwards.
"Give me your comb Zidgel." Midgel declared. Zidgel reached into his hair and took out the comb, that he always has with him for safe keeping, to give it to Midgel. Midgel broke off one of the teeth and gave the comb back to a shocked Zidgel, angry at the broken tooth. Midgel leaned towards the lock and fiddled with it and the tooth of the comb until he successfully picked the lock. He opened the door and they all entered the school. It was around ten o-clock and at night time, so the entire school was dark. They could see outside of the school due to the flashing lights of the cars and the stars, but inside the school building they couldn't see a thing.
"I didn't know you could pick locks so well Midgel," Fidgel exclaimed.
"Trust me," Midgel said, not knowing where Fidgel's voice came from. "I would make a brilliant criminal." They all walked around the school, looking for someway to see. Jason eventually found a turn and went that way. He kept going until he felt a door handle, the door opened easily as the child turned on the light-switch right next to it. He found himself in a bathroom. It was full of stalls, which made him moan. Yep...just had to be the girls' restroom. The boy sighed. He yelled out to the others.
"I found the bathrooms!" The other penguins quickly found him. He saw, not to far ahead, another door. "Could you hold this for a minute?" Jason asked Kevin. Kevin smiled and sat down, propping the door open. Jason ran over to the other one and turned on the light behind it. Yet another bathroom, (the male's one this time) caused an amount of light to shine through. Jason smirked. He called out to the others. "We have to find out way to the computer lab or library! This school has got to have one!"
"Why?" Midgel asked.
"To read up about all of this. The internet spreads information extremely quick. The whole thing will be filled with this recent take-over. The penguins shrugged. Jason knew about this planet just as much as they did. Midgel cried out.
"I'll see if I can find the library," he said.
"No, I will." Zidgel pushed Midgel aside and went out into the darkness. It wasn't even two minutes when Zidgel shouted back, "I found the library!" The penguins and Jason followed the sound of his voice and eventually came upon a door. Midgel opened it and Kevin flicked the lights. Sure enough, there were hundreds of books on shelves and tables, a check-out desk, as well as three computers lined up against the wall. Jason hurried over to them and turned one on. The rest of the Penguins examined the place until Jason called them over.
"Here it is," he said after opening a search engine. "Over millions of sites must already be dedicated to Uncle Blobb." Fidgel gasped.
"There is no telling which one will provide us with any useful data," he said. Jason scrolled down the page. The computer's monitor started to blur. Uncle Blobb's face appeared on the screen with a wicked and deadly grin. Midgel didn't wait even a second to smack a device on the Computer. The device was a large orange, blue, and sliver circular disc with a bunch of data scribbles written all over it. It also had six poles that connected to the computer tower. Midgel took a remote out of his pouch and started to do random things on it that the other Penguins, Jason, nor BING could understand.
"Greetings newcomer," Uncle Blobb said. "I see that...Conrad? Oh, isn't this just delightful. Jason T. Conrad, the brat who caused this to happen to everybody! You know Conrad...when I was talking to your sister...she seemed to be pretty focused on capturing her traitor brother... Let's just put it this way, your sister and grandmother are out of their flipping minds! Ha ha-" Midgel flipped the computer off of the table as the other penguins looked at him questioningly.
"What?"
"We could have gotten some information off of that!" Fidgel said.
"Like?"
"Like where he is hiding out right now!" Midgel smirked.
"No need Doc," he said. "I've got his exact location right here!" he held up the remote that he pulled out earlier. "I put it on the computer to trace his broadcast signal. I now know exactly where he is!"
