"And so she had these really sick testing machines where she made all the costumes," Hiro said, his mouth full of sandwich, "And she showed us around…"

"I cannot believe you actually met Edna Mode!" Honey squealed. As resident fashion expert, Honey Lemon couldn't have been more impressed when she learned of Hiro's escapades with one of the hottest fashion designers in the history of the industry.

"Yeah, she was cool. Kind of weird, though. And I have no idea what was up with her accent." Hiro shrugged, swallowing. "But I had no idea that she was where all the supers got their suits from until Dash and Jack-Jack took me there."

"Dude, I wish I could have been you. Seriously. This trip sounds so, so sweet!" Fred hugged his napkin, which had been signed by Frozone. He had nearly exploded with excitement when Hiro had presented it to him upon his arrival back in San Fransokyo. He was planning to frame it and hang it up on his wall as soon as he got home.

Cass and Hiro had arrived home that afternoon, and the team had been waiting for them. After unpacking and getting settled, the team had sit Hiro down and demanded to know everything. Hiro happily obliged, with Cass pitching in occasionally as she whipped up some sandwiches for their dinners. Baymax sat at the table too, busily straightening the silverware on the tabletop.

Hiro grinned as he thought back to his adventure in Edna Mode's lab.

She was the size of a fourth grader. Probably not even five feet tall. Yeah, more like four foot five at the most. She wore thick glasses, had dome-shaped black hair that matched the shade of her dress perfectly. She waited at the door for them with one hand on her hip, the other held out to the side. A pen was clasped habitually between her fingers, like a cigarette. And yet, despite how…er…odd she looked, there was something about her that made you feel very intimidated.

As Dash, Jack-Jack, and Hiro made their way inside, she regarded them with a look of vague interest. Her lips were pursed and her eyes were narrowed. Hiro noticed she was looking him up and down, sizing him up.

"So. This is the newbie, eh?" The woman said finally.

"Yep." Dash clapped Hiro on the back. "This is Hiro Hamada. He's part of that New San Fransokyo team, the…"

"Yes, yes, the Big Hero 6. I know, darling." Edna stepped forward, lifting her glasses a bit to get a better look at Hiro.

Hiro, who had figured that he should probably say something, cleared his throat. "Nice to meet you, Ms…"

"Edna, darling. Edna Mode." She held out her hand in a way that looked like she expected Hiro to kiss it. Hiro took it and gave it a few shakes. Her hands were very small and cold.

"So, Aunt E." Dash said. "We were wondering if you could help our young friend here with a few costume issues…"

Edna grinned. "Of course, of course. I was waiting for you to come, you know," She said, suddenly addressing Hiro. "I knew that you wouldn't be able to stand running around in those sub-standard metal bathing suits for long. It was only a matter of time before you got a professional on the job."

Hiro was a little miffed at that comment. He thought, why would she say that? My team's supersuits are totally sick! It wasn't until the end of Edna's next sentence that Hiro snapped back to attention and realized what she was talking about. "Whoa, whoa, wait…" He held up his hands. "You already made suits for us?"

"Pfft. I'm not one for waiting, darling. I knew your coming to me was inevitable, so I simply went ahead and designed a few more things. They are in my lab, waiting for you. Come, come," she said, beckoning them after her. Shocked, Hiro looked over at Jack-Jack, who looked equally as surprised as he was. Dash cleared his throat, walking a little faster to catch up with E.

"Wait, wait, Aunt E." Dash said. "I mean, I'm sure your costumes are great, but all we need is a…"

"Oh, yes, they turned out quite nicely. It took a lot of studying news programs and other media to find how they worked. Of course, these are just models, as I do not yet have access to their measurements, or know exactly how the technological aspects work. But I assumed we could work around that when you came. And here you are."

"Well, yeah, but-"

"Yes, mm-hmm, mm-hmm." Edna responded, not really paying attention. They began to descend down a few stairs. "How is your mother?"

The question took Dash a second to register. "Huh? Wh-oh yeah, I mean, she's fine."

"Mm. That's good. We have an appointment next Thursday for lunch, you know." Edna said. "And your father?"

"He's okay too, I guess. But E-"

"here we are." She stopped, and the three boys skidded to a halt too. They were in the middle of an otherwise pretty bare hallway, except for a door and a few pads on the wall. Quick as a cobra, E punched in a few numbers on the keypad with the end of her pen. She scanned her hand, then lifted her glasses so that the machine that popped out of the wall could scan her eyes. A microphone slid out of the wall too, into which she said in a flat tone, "Edna Mode."

Next to Hiro, Dash and Jack-Jack, a large machine gun came out of the ceiling and pointed itself at them. Hiro yelped in surprise.

Edna sent them a sideways, unconcerned glance. "And guest," she added into the microphone, smirking a little bit. The machine gun vanished back into the wall.

The door slid open and Edna walked in. The others followed.

Hiro gasped. The laboratory was…magnificent. Everywhere were these great machines, gadgets and doodads, things that Hiro had no idea what they even did. Mannequins of differing sizes and shapes were lined up against a wall.

"Yes, quite impressive, isn't it?" Edna said. She must have noticed Hiro gasp.

"You design stuff here?" Hiro asked. Edna nodded.

"I have to do it somewhere, don't I?" She chuckled.

"Aunt E?" Jack-Jack asked. "But…we don't need, like, a whole new set of suits. We were just coming to see if you had some aerodynamic paint, for repairs."

Edna stared at him, her lips pursed. Hiro could tell that she was getting mad. Jack-Jack seemed to tell that as well, because he quickly added, "Of course, we could definitely see your designs for the costumes."

"And that's where these came from," Hiro said, spreading out the sketches and pictures of the models on the table. "She said that if we sent her our measurements she'll alter them and send them to us."

Honey Lemon frowned at her costume. "It's nice, but a little revealing, I think." She said quietly.

Gogo grinned. "I like them all."

Fred nodded. "I mean, our regular costumes are great, but these are really cool too! And the autograph and…dude, this sounds like this was the coolest vacation ever!"

Hiro thought back for a second. It was the best vacation he'd ever had (0nly one, but still). Really, he got to fight crime with legends like the Incredibles and Frozone! And not only did he sort of make friends with Jack-Jack and Dash (they promised to keep in touch) he got to meet professional supers and super-associates that he never dreamed he would meet.

Aunt Cass, over in the kitchen area, paused in her stirring to rest the bowl on the counter. "I had a lot of fun!" She said.

Baymax looked over at Hiro. "You did enjoy the trip, didn't you, Hiro?"

Hiro nodded. "Yeah. It was pretty sick."

Author's Note: And that's a wrap! This was the final chapter of Being a Super. It ended up being a little bit longer than I expected, but oh well. It was fun writing it.

Thank you to all of you guys who reviewed, favorited, followed, and generally read my story. It makes me so glad to know that you guys enjoyed my work!

Oh, and by the way, the designs that E designed for them were the costumes from the comic book Big Hero 6 (which is why Honey Lemon mentions her costume is pretty revealing).

Okay, that's all folks! Toodles!
