Chapter Nine- Not Amused
Hi there! I know this is very, very, very late but, in my defence… no, I got nothing. It's not even the one I said it would be… sorry.
By the way how did Clara get the Doctor's number? She said she got it from 'the woman at the shop', who was that?
River? Donna? Amy? Jenny (the Doctor's daughter)? Rose? Bad Wolf? Another Clara, who knows the number because the first Clara knows the number?
I need to stop… on with the chapter!
I do not own Doctor Who.
It's a great feeling, when you you win a bet. Rose Tyler knew that full well.
"Yes!" Rose exclaimed happily.
The Doctor smiled then stopped, he bet ten quid. Where do you get money?
Victoria's voice broke his mild panic. "Not remotely amused." She snapped. "And henceforth I banish you."
"I'm sorry?"
"I rewarded you, Sir Doctor, and now you are exiled from this empire, never to return. I don't know what you are, the two of you, or where you're from, but I know that you consort with stars and magic and think it fun. But your world is steeped in terror and blasphemy and death, and I will not allow it." She glared at the Doctor and Rose. "You will leave these shores and you will…"
"Merp."
The penguin tilted it's head at the Doctor and repeated itself. "Merp."
He blushed and glanced at Rose. "Shut up."
"Merp. Merp. Merp."
"No, stop! It's not like that!"
Victoria stared in shock at the strange black and white creature. "What on Earth is that?"
"It's a… well…" Rose frowned slightly unsure of how to explain. "It's a peng… a bird."
"In all my years, I have never seen a bird such as this."
Meanwhile, the conversation between the bird and the time lord was getting heated.
"No I did not run away from our last fight!"
"Merp. Merp. Merp. Merp. Merp!"
"Well, if you must know, I was trying to save 1946!"
With a loud Merp, the penguin violently head butted him in the stomach. It then proceeded to knock him over and attack him.
The Doctor's angry protests soon gave way, to a string of alien words. Rose didn't know what he was saying… but, she was pretty sure he was swearing.
"My word!" Queen Victoria exclaimed.
"Don't worry," Rose said, searching for her camera-phone. "This happens sometimes."
Review.
