Sorry for the delay! But I'm back :)

Chapter 9

I got a text from Noah, saying that he wants to take me out for lunch. I didn't really want to go, but I felt that I've been neglecting him lately. I really like him, but his possessiveness and jealousy kill it for me. I knew I had to talk to him about it, and today's my chance.

Noah pulled by my house, and honked the horn. I opened the front door and closed it after me. "Hey, you." Noah said softly. We shared a soft kiss. "Hey." I said. "What did you want to talk about?" He asked me. "Let's get to the restaurant and then I'll tell you." I said. He shifted the car to 'drive' and drove out of the neighborhood.

We arrived at my favorite grill in Ocean Shores, "The Diamond". Noah was surprisingly calm. He opened the door for me, pulled out my chair for me, and asked for a waiter. I looked around the restaurant, and my eyes laid on Lars. I caught him looking at us – was it hurt in his eyes? Why would he be hurt?

We ordered appetizers and I placed a napkin on my lap. "Do you love me?" Noah asked me, out of nowhere. I looked up and stared at him; I was surprised, what did you expect?

"I know that you don't, just by looking at your face." He said, with a hint of disappointment in your eyes. I placed a bit of my hair behind my ear nervously. "Is there someone else?" He inquired. I took a sip of water and shook my head. "What made you think that I did?" I asked. Noah shrugged slightly and said causally "Oh, let's just say that I saw interesting texts on your phone." That pissed me off. "How dare you touch my phone! You clearly never trusted me." I retorted angrily. "Listen to me, Reg. No one fools me, not even you. I know everything, and I know that you and that Rodriguez guy hooked up." He said confidently. I shook my head and said "You're ridiculous. I like him, but not like that." To tell you the truth, I'm not sure I even believed myself at the moment. Neither did Noah. He glared at me, and then stopped. He wanted service from our waiter. "I want to speak to the cook." Noah demanded.

After what seemed like forever, Lars came out of the kitchen. "What seems to be the problem?" He asked.

"You know it's not about the food." Noah said snobbishly.

Lars wanted to know what was going on, and so did I.

"Why were you staring at us?" Noah demanded to know. I knew Lars was looking, but I didn't know that his gaze never left.

"What were you doing with Reggie?" Noah asked Lars angrily.

"I told you, we were at the beach!" I said loudly. I'm still mad at him for being jealous. This has gone too far.

Noah didn't care. He threatened Lars "If you ever come near her again-"

"You'll what? You already threatened me." Lars retorted. My eyes quickly shifted to look at Lars.

"When did he threaten you?" I asked. Lars muttered that he had to get back to work.

There was an awkward silence. "What did you do?" I asked, clearly getting angrier every minute. "I told him to stay away from you, or he's dead." Noah said coldly. I felt my face getting redder; he has no control over who I can hang out with. I didn't say a word during dessert.

After we paid, Noah left to the bathroom. I don't know where I got this crazy idea, but as soon as he closed the bathroom door, I locked the bathroom entrance room. Luckily, we were alone at the restaurant, so I knew that he was alone in the bathroom.

I saw Lars was about to leave the restaurant, but stopped when he saw me, near the entrance. He quickly asked "Where's Noah?", perhaps relieved. I told him what I did, and he smirked.

"I knew he wouldn't let us talk, so I did what I had to, to make sure we straighten things out." I said. "You look beautiful." He said. I blushed a bit and thanked him.

"What happened? Why did you flip like that?" I finally asked him.

"Our relationship means a lot to me, and I didn't want you to think that I'm a player. And about getting your attention, you're right. I've always wanted your attention, not anyone else's. I got upset because you took the conversation to an unwanted direction, and I didn't want to argue with you." He said calmly. I understood that, but there was one more thing.

"Why did you call me your 'queen'?" Regina asked. He provided a silly excuse. I wanted to know what he was hiding.

"Te quiero, Regina." He said, loud and clear. I didn't move a muscle; I couldn't. I never expected to hear that from him. I never knew that he had feelings for me. I have to admit, that I did feel something back at the beach, but I wasn't sure what it was.

We stood there, and before I knew it, I heard Noah yelling angrily "What the hell is going on?!"

We turned to look at a red-faced Noah. I didn't care how and why he got out- I was soangry at him. "Why do you care? We're just talking!" I yelled furiously. "It is my business, Reg." Noah replied coldly.

"No, it's not!" I exclaimed. An awkward silence. Then I shook my head. "Unbelievable. I need time.", I said and left them there. Suddenly forgot that I wanted to talk to Noah.

That's it for Chapter 9 :)
