My Fair Becky
Chapter 8
~Mess Hall Tent/Becky's POV~
Well that last challenge was messed up, unexpected, scary, nerve wreaking, and tiredsome. Who would have thought that Duncan and I were fighting off a robot who looked like Justin, but acted like that villainess video game boss, King Boo? And although it was an award challenge, the loosing team had to clean everything up With Chris McClain it shouldn't be a surprise by now with the things he throws at us. Still a robot that looked like someone else and acted like he was posses was a little off the top. Do the producers even allow half the stuff Chris sets up because he's more deranged then Izzy.
I don't think the producers would hire a host who'd try to eradicate us. However; if they did hire a host for just that purpose then we best watch our backs because you never know what is gonna be thrown at you. Don't want to over think about the idea, but it's good to keep an open mind. For now I'm going to enjoy some breakfast and sit with my friends. I'm currently standing in line waiting for Chef to put breakfast on my tray right after Harold.
"Here's breakfast twig, enjoy." He said to Harold dropping a plate filled with what looked like scrambled eggs onto his tray. The silverwear and glass of juice jumped a bit from the hard impact of the plate.
Harold inspected the food very carefully and closely as if he was trying to find something wrong with the food.
"Hm...are you sure you didn't put anything funny in this? It looks too good to be eggs." He complained.
"Are you questioning my cooking skills shrimp?" Chef asked sounding angry, getting all up in Harold's face.
"*gulp* Uh n-no sir there's nothing wrong with the food. It looks just fine just uh making sure they're all scrambled up to perfection. *inspects them again* Yep, looks okay to me~ *nervous chuckle*" Harold explained as he hurried away to a table where Leshawna and Lindsey sat and talked.
Poor Harold, can't blame the guy being terrified.
Chef can get pretty scary when he has to be.
I slowly walked over facing Chef. Wanting to stay on his good side I gave him a small smile and a greeting.
"Moring Chef, you look nice and refreshed. Had a goodnight sleep?"
"It was alright *shrug* Wouldn't mind a few extra minutes of snoozing but some people don't know when to stay out of other people's business." He complained more to himself.
I'm guessing Chris has some sort of wake up call that he uses on Chef perhaps?
Maybe that's why Chef's usually cranky?
"Anyway here's your food, enjoy." He said brining me out of my daze as he dropped a plate onto my tray of the similar food Harold had gotten.
"Thank you~" I replied smiling and walking to the table where most of my friends were.
"Hey guys."
"Hey Becky."
"Hi Beatrice."
"Hello~"
"Hey there Becky."
"Hey have any of you guys seen Duncan around?" I asked as I sat down.
"No, I haven't seen him since last night. His bed was untouched when I woke up so he never went to bed." Harold explained.
"That's odd do you think something happened to him?" I asked concerned.
"I don't know, but here's something else Justin's bed was untouched as well when I woke up." Harold replied poking his food.
"Now what could those two be up to that you don't even go to bed?" Leshawna questioned.
"Wait I'm confused, I thought they hated each other because they both like Bethany?" Lindsey asked.
"They do and it's Becky, Lindsey." I replied.
"Right Bertha." Lindsey said nodded her head.
"Uh close enough." I said with a shrug.
"You know who else we haven't seen? Heather." Harold pointed out.
"Hey yeah that's true you don't think she and Justin are doing something to Duncan?" I asked getting nervous.
"Honey I know that boy and if there's one thing he can do is take care of himself. Heather's no problem for him and Justin can't even fight without doing damage to his body. Whatever's going on Duncan's going to be just fine." Leshawna explained to me.
"Hm...I suppose you have a point. Duncan can handle himself, but who knows what those two are doing. Don't you remember what they did during the circus challenge?" I explained.
"Yeah I remember and I'm still pissed at Heather and pretty boy for what they did." Leshawna said clutching a spoon so hard she began to bend it.
Owen, who had been pigging out on his food took a second to look at us, see what Leshawna did to the spoon, and then speak up after swallowing.
"Wow, you're really strong Leshawna. I didn't know you could do that to a spoon."
"Isn't she amazing?" Harold said dreamily as he looked at Leshawna in a loving way.
"Look don't worry to much about it Leshawna because I'm sure karma will be paying them a visit real soon." I told her.
"Well it better or I'm gonna be paying them a visit myself." She replied in a threatening tone.
~Becky's Confession~
"Note to self never make Leshawna angry."
~End of Confession~
"Noted Leshawna." I simply said.
"You're amazing~" Harold said to her getting little hearts in his eyes.
"Aw Harold you're so sweet." She told him with a smile.
"You know you two make a cute couple." I told them.
Both of them blushed and started blabbering away.
Then at that moment Duncan stormed into the tent looking angry as he took a seat.
"Duncan, are you alright? What happened?" I asked him concerned.
"I don't think it's best to ask any questions Becky. I think Duncan should cool down first before any conversations." Harold explained.
"Zip it Harold before I zip you up myself." Duncan threatened.
"Duncan don't scare Harold, now what's gotten into you?" I asked.
With a heavy sigh Duncan looked at me with a guilty and frustrated look on his face.
"Look I didn't mean to be a jerk it's just pretty boy and baldinie are getting on my nerves. Last night Justin took me to the side and..." Duncan began.
~Flashback to Last Night~
Duncan was making his way to the guy's trailer when all of a sudden a pair of hands grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him into a wall. It only took a few moments before realizing that it was none other than Justin who'd grabbed him.
"What do you want Justin?" Duncan asked him.
"I want you to stay away from Becky. You don't deserve her after your little fiasco break up with Courtney." Justin explained.
"Hey my past relationships are none of your business. Courtney was great, but things didn't work out between us. She deserves better and I found someone new; and in case you haven't noticed, Becky doesn't even like you." Duncan explained to him.
"She's just playing hard to get. Girls love to do that so guys keep coming after them." Justin told him.
~Justin's Confession~
"It's true, girl's do it all the time around me so I'd date them. So many girls wanting me. *smirking* How could you not want all of this? *gestures to his body.*
~Confession Over~
"Look you can think whatever you want but Becky's just not into you. Why don't you go after some other girl? Why not Heather? You're both jerks who only care about each other so there you go." Duncan told Justin.
Unfortunately, Heather, who was on her way to the bathroom overheard Duncan. Hearing what he said got her ticked off so she stormed over to him and Justin. Let the rampage of bitching begin, yay. (Note the sarcasm in that.)
"Hey what gives? I try to go and take a relaxing shower to forget that I'm in this dump and you're trying to hook me up with a loser?" Heather began pointing at Justin. Duncan rolled his eyes knowing where this was going.
"Who are you calling a loser?! I'm the most attractive guy in my home town!" Justin complained.
"Yeah well I'm the most popular girl in school but I don't go around like some goddess just to get attention." Heather argued.
"Well at least I don't use people like tools." Justin told her.
"At least I don't blackmail people."Heather told him.
"No, but you threaten them." He pointed out.
"Oh wah, wah, wah do I look like I care?"
"Do I look like I wanna date you?"
"Ew hell no!"
"Good now get the hell out of my face."
"Fine oh and Duncan you really need to work on your matchmaking skills. As if you had any in the first place. *evil laughter*"
"You know what Heather just shut the fuck up!" Duncan cried out.
"Aw did I hit a nerve? Boo who sucks to be you." Heather told him.
"Why do you have to be such a bitch, and why does Justin have to be such an idiot?" Duncan asked them for no apparent reason.
"Oh well if I'm such an idiot then why did I come up with the idea to have Gwen make us vote off Trent and have you guys lose that prison challenge?" Justin explained.
"I knew she was losing that challenge on purpose!" Heather cried out.
"You know what I take back what I said. You're not an idiot, you're a cruel and heartless jackass!" Duncan told him.
"Call me what you like but I'll be the one who snatches Becky's heart." Justin said with a smirk on his face.
"You'd have to go through me first." Duncan said holding a fist out.
"Sorry but I don't fight crazy nut jobs." Justin replied with smirk.
"Grr..." Was all Duncan could say through his teeth and anger building up inside.
"Okay well you morons keep arguing I'm out of here. I'm in desperate need of a shower."
And with that said Heather headed off to the bathroom. Leaving Duncan and Justin giving each other the death eye, argue some more, and then chase one another. (Mostly Duncan was chasing after Justin. LOL.)
~Flashback Over~
"And by the time I'd finally caught up to him he was sound asleep in a tree and I was exhausted. So I slept under the tree to regain my energy to kick his ass in the morning but when I woke up and checked Justin had already left." Duncan finished explained to us.
"Wow...I can't believe that all happened." I said in shock.
"I can't believe Justin had Gwen do those crazy things. So that's why she hit me with a shovel!" Harold said figuring things out.
"No honey, she really does have a bit of a fear of small spaces." Leshawna told him.
"Well either way Justin shouldn't have blackmailed her like that." He replied.
"What's done is done now. All we can do is keep playing the game and try to win." She told him.
"You don't think Chip will seperate us do you?" Lindsey asked.
"Chris? Seperate us? Oh you must mean break up the teams and it'll be everyone for themself right?" I asked.
"Yeah exactly." She replied nodding her head.
"I don't know, it might happen since we've been in teams for a while now." I pointed out.
"I hope we merge because then I can make sure Justin gets the boot next." Duncan said.
Speak of the devil, Justin came walking into the tent with Heather behind him. The pair didn't take interest in looking over at us. They just grabbed their breakfast and sat at the table behind us with their backs turned.
"Guess they're in a crabby mood this morning." I said to myself.
Lindsey and Owen giggled hearing my remark.
"That's a good one. *laughing* Crabby~ *laughing*" Owen said through his laughter.
Just then, some guy wearing an old renaissance outfit while holding a big horn came into the tent catching our attention and stepped to the right hand side. He took a deep breathe and blew into the horn making loud noise. Then in came Chris wearing a fancy robe, fez on top of his head, holding a big book in his armpit, and blowing bubbles from this old pipe.
"Good morrow to all of you. Are thou ready for yey challenge today?" He asked speaking in a Shakespearian voice.
"What's with the dorky accent and get up?" Duncan asked.
"It's called acting and I'm thinking about using it in today's challenge." Chris replied blowing more bubbles from the pipe.
~Harold's Confession~
"That's not much of an accent as it is acting. Chris is making a mockery out of Shakespeare. Hasn't he ever read any of the books? Gosh!"
~Confession Over~
From behind him came Chef wearing an outfit similar to that of the horn guy's but in a dark purple color. Instead of holding a horn he held a fancy pillow which was holding a glass slipper in the center.
"Oh my gosh look at that shoe! *gasp* It's so beautiful!" Lindsey cried out in shock. Her eyes going big at the sight of it.
"Oh great let me guess. We're going to be doing some stupid fairytale challenge?" Heather complained.
"Oh I love fairytales, so mysterious, exciting, adventerous, and wonderous." I said with a big smile.
~Becky's Confession~
"If there's one thing I love more than video games and chocolate is Fairytales. Fairytales go way back with the original stories being very dark and gruesome, but were then changed to be more happy with the Happily Ever After at the end. I feel sorry for Heather because she doesn't believe in magic, witches, dragons, faith, trust, and pixie dust."
~Confession Over~
"Glad to have at least a few people on board, and yes Heather, it's a fairytale challenge today. I'm sure you're all familiar with the stories where adventure awaits, dragons must be slayed, princesses rescued, and magical objects are used." Chris began as he opened the book and showed pictures as he talked.
"For today's challenge you all will be participating in an exciting fairytale adventure. However, no fairytale story is complete without its beautiful princess."
"Oh! Oh! I wanna be the princess! I wanna be the princess!" Lindsey cried out as she waved her hands in the air. She was really excited about this challenge.
"Whoa there, there's only one way to figure out who'll be the princess and that's with a test." Chris said doing a hand gesture to the glass heel.
"Ladies come on up and remove your right shoe. Chef will be shoe fitting you all to see which one of you has the correct foot and fits the glass slipper. Oh and one more thing, the teams are now no more."
~Becky's Confession~
"Looks like Lindsey called it after all. Now it's every man for his or herself."
~Confession Over~
So Leshawna, Lindsey, Heather, and myself stepped up, removed our right shoe, and awaited the shoe fitting. Chef walked up to Leshawna first to see if she'd fit into the slipper.
"Leshawna's going to be the one who'll wear the glass slipper. I just know she'll be the one." Harold told the guys feeling confident and excited.
Unfortunately, the slipper was too big for Leshawna's foot.
"Well I guess the shoe don't fit me." She said with a shrug.
"That's alright, I don't think I was really cut out for princess material anyway."
"Oh Leshawna...though you're not a princess today you'll always be a princess to me." Harold told her taking her hand and kneeling before her.
"Aw thank you baby." She replied with a soft smile.
Next up was Lindsey who could hardly contain her excitement. She really wanted to be today's princess. Though all her happiness and jumping was bugging Heather who had to hold slap Lindsey in the back of her head to make her stop.
"Ouch..." She said rubbing her head.
Chef kneeled before Lindsey and tried to fit the slipper on her foot, but it was too small for her foot.
"Oh no, does this mean I'm not the princess?" She asked disappointed.
"No, it means that they need to use a different shoe for you." Heather replied sarcastically.
"Phew that's good to know." Lindsey said in relief which made Heather slap herself on the forehead.
~Heather's Confession~
"How dumb is Lindsey-It? Seriously? How dumb can she be?"
~Confession Over~
Heather was next much to her dismay. She didn't really care much for this challenge nor did she even want to try on the slipper. She said don't even bother I'm not interested in being a princess so whatever. Then she walked and sat at a table to wait until a princess was selected.
I was the last to go, and was wondering what we'd have to do if the slipper didn't fit me? Hopefully, the slipper does fit me but still, just wondering.
Chef kneeled down, took my foot by the ankle, slipped the slipper onto my foot, and...
A Perfect Fit!
I gasped at the sight and was utterly speechless. The slipper was on my foot. It was actually on my foot and staying there. It even felt comfortable to wear a shoe made of glass. Now I know how Cinderella felt wearing this when Fairy Godmother poofed them up for her.
"Ladies and Gentlemen our princess~!" Chris cried out making hand gestures at me.
~Justin's Confession~
"I always knew Becky was princess material. Now that she's the princess and the teams are apart, I have a real chance at winning and convincing her to be mine. I know, can feel it in me."
~Confession Over~
~Duncan's Confession~
"I knew Smiley was special, but who knew she was this special? *smiles* Just goes to show you how special someone you really like can be. Anyway now that we're no longer on teams I can keep voting Justin out until he's gone so I have one less thing to worry about. I don't trust pretty boy one bit; therefore, I can't yet him win this challege or win over Becky. Then again she doesn't like him that way so I just have to worry about winning is all."
~Confession Over~
"Chef, if you would do the honors."
Chef stood up before me and took out a want the was attatched to the back of his belt.
"I dub tey Princess Becky." He said before tapping the wand on my head and throwing glitter on me from this pouch that was also attatched to his belt.
"Now that we have our princess we can begin today's challenge. Everyone follow me, but Becky you follow Chef. He'll be taking you to costume and makeup." Chris explained.
"Uh okay." I simply said and followed Chef out of the tent
~Normal POV~
After Becky had left the tent, Chris had everyone follow him to Studio 76 where the challenge would be held. The studio was set up as a big forest with trees, bushes, rocks, and a few animal cut out boards. There was also a huge castle set up, but more on that later. Chris sat in a comfy chair with the big book in hands and the contestants standing a few feet away from him.
"Welcome to the Enchanted Forest everybody." Chris began.
"The so called 'Enchanted Forest' is made of cardboard and starafoam." Heather pointed out poking a cardboard animal that fell to the ground.
"Sorry we would have brought in real animals but the Zoo wouldn't allow it." Chris said.
"Aw I wanted to pet bunnies." Lindsey said sadly.
"Me to and I wanted to play with ducks." Owen said sadly.
"Well that's life for you now onto the challenge." Chris said happily.
"Your challenge will be to race through the forest to get to the other side where the castle is. Beware though for in the forest holds many dangerous creatures who'll try to stop you from reaching the princess. If a creature catches you you're out of the game."
"Hold up we have to go through there, avoid getting caught by some creatures, and we don't even get any weapons?" Leshawna asked.
"Don't worry I took the liberty and got you all something that will help you on your journey." Chris replied.
With the snap of his fingers a guy wearing an Christmas elf costume came wheeling a cart out that was full of different objects.
"Oh it's one of Santa's elves! Hi Mr. Elf I'm Lindsey! *wave* Tell Santa I'd like some new lipgloss, shoes, hair brush, nail polish, and some skirts, and maybe a new pair of sunglasses, an-"
Heather covered Lindsey mouth from her annoying blabbering of her Christmas list.
"Shut. Up. Lindseyit." Heather said in a threatening tone of voice.
"Harsh." Harold said.
"Moving on, one at a time when I call your name come up and your weapon will be given out to you." Chris told everyone.
Harold= Toy Bow & Arrows
Owen= Water Gun
Leshawna= Wooden Staff
Lindsey= Fraying Pan
Heather= Apples
Justin= Foam Sword
Duncan= Wooden Sword
"These will be your weapons while you venture through the Enchanted Forest. Use them well for you never know when the creatures of the forest will come out." Chris told everyone.
"What the fuck?! I got apples as a weapon?! Why does everyone else get something useful while I'm stuck with stupid fruit?!" Heather complained.
"Yeah well at least you can actually hurt someone with apples. I got this crummy Foam sword as a weapon." Justin told him.
~Duncan's Confession~
"*laughing* Apples and a foam sword? Aw man that's rich, that's so rich. Just bonk them on the head that'll be great. *laughing*"
~Confession Over~
"Look if you two keep complaining then you're out of the game." Chris told them.
"Ugh! Fine!" The two of them said at the same time.
"Good, now without further ado...*looks at the book and reads* With their weapons in hand our heroes set off to venture through the Enchanted Forest. Knowing that although danger and evil lurked in the forest it wouldn't stop them from rescuing the fair princess. And so into the forest they went, would they make it out alive? I don't know but that's the fun of it all." Chris explained.
~Skipping to The Castle~
By the time the cast got to the other side of the forest there were only three of them left. Sadly, Owen, Leshawna, Lindsey, and Heather all got caught by the creatures through their run. (Don't worry the creatures were just interns in costumes and Heather didn't try very hard. Ha ha how do you like them apples?) That just left Harold, Duncan, and Justin to continue on their quest and rescue Princess Becky.
"Well done brave knights, you made it through the forest alive." Chris told the boys.
The rest of the gang were brought out by the interns in the creature costumes over to where Chris sat. There they would hang with him and watch the boys complete the rest of the challenge.
From the book, Chris began to read what came next.
"With most of the heroes defeated, three heroes made it out of the woods and continued on their journey. When sudde-" Chris began but was interrupted.
"Chris I have another complaint. Do we have to stand around here for the rest of the challenge doing nothing?" Heather complained.
"Unless you want to be sent home for annoying me you'll stand there and watch." Chris replied before continuing.
"Now as I was saying before being interrupted, our remaining three heroes made it out of the woods and continued on their journey. When suddenly the castle came into view over the spread of trees. A magnificent structure with towers and all, but in the highest tower was where the princess awaited to be rescued. Onward they went, but not before seeing a vision of Princess Becky herself."
~Becky's POV~
"...Not before seeing a vision of Princess Becky herself." I heard Chris finish.
That was when I was lowered by a harness down to the ground. I wasn't crazy about the idea because I had a fear of heights, so I closed my eyes and waited until I landed. It only took a couple of seconds before I was on my feet, eyes opened, and ready for action. (wearing dress similar to Courtney's but it's a dark green color)
Then I remembered I had to sing a song, but I kind of forgot. Plus, it wasn't a really good song to begin with. Course Chris was expecting some sort of song so I made up one off the top of my head.
"Trapped I am and trapped I remain until the day~"
"My brave knight would come to me~"
"Riding upon his steed~"
"To free me from my prisoned life~"
"Free from my cage~"
"He'll carry me out, we'll ride away, and share a kiss~"
"Yes, that'll be the day~"
After the song I gave a nervous laugh and looked away blushing from embaressment.
"Not bad a little different from what I originally had planned but still, that was pretty good." Chris said sounding pleased.
I sighed with relief feeling much better knowing that Chris approved of my song.
~Normal POV~
After hearing Becky sing Duncan and Justin began to talk about Becky.
"She sure has a nice voice. Just like when we did karaoke together that one time." Duncan said to himself starring at Becky in a loving way.
"Yeah she really does have a nice voice." Justin said in a loving way.
Then Duncan punched Justin in the arm without taking his eyes off of Becky.
"Ouch! What the hell was that for?!" Justin cried out looking at Duncan while rubbing his arm.
"Just for being you Justin." Was Duncan's only reply with his eyes still glued on Becky.
Justin growled in anger while Duncan just zoned him out.
~Becky's POV~
I haden't noticed Duncan looking at me like a love sick puppy until I noticed him from the corner of my eye. I blushed like crazy and covered my face with my hands to avoid showing if off. I swear I could hear Duncan chuckle at my reaction to this. Then the next thing I knew Chris began to speak again.
"With a vision of Princess Becky our heroes were more eager to rescue her now more than ever. Nothing was going to stand in their way except one little thing." Chris began.
"Was it a giant?"
"A scary bear?"
"An evil villain?"
"Someone more annoying than you?"
"Some sort of creature who's got a better attitude then Heather?"
"Kind of, no, yes, definitely no, and yes." Chris replied in that order before reading more from the book.
"An evil troll had kidnapped the Princess and would stop at nothing to keep our three heroes from rescuing her."
"Oh no a troll! Wait what's a troll?" Lindsey asked.
"It's a type of mythical creature that's big, strong, and sometimes lives under a bridge." Harold pointed out.
"Wasn't that in a story about three goats?" Leshawna asked.
"Yes, and it's the perfect example to clarify what a troll is to Lindsey." Harold told her.
"Hm good point." Leshawna said agreeing.
Just then, Chef came out in a troll costume, riding on a smelly donkey.
"Behold the horrible troll!" Chris said pointing at Chef.
Chef gave out a grunt as a responce.
"Wow could that costume be any lamer?" Heather asked.
Chef gave out another grunt with a hint of anger in it.
"Come off it Heather, leave Chef alone he makes a great troll." I said defending Chef.
"Whatever." She replied not really caring what I said.
~Heather's Confession~
"Seriously if we're going to be doing a dumb fairytale challenge the least they could do is give people some better costumes and props and transportation."
~Confession Over~
~Becky's Confession~
"Is there ever a time when Heather isn't such a big jerk to people?"
~Confession Over~
"The evil troll had kidnapped Princess Becky, and was taking her to an even taller tower where she would never be rescued. Away they went on the trolls steed to the tower, but unknownst to the troll the brave knightly heroes went after them." Chris read aloud.
Chef offered me a hand and I took it. He helped me onto the donkey, used his heels on the donkey to make it move, and after a quick Ne Haw and kick we were off. I held onto Chef as we rode off at a slow speed.
"Don't we go after them?" Harold asked confused.
"No, this is a getaway that every great villain has. You should know that the villain always has a getaway. Therefore; you can not go after him until I say you can so wait." Chris told him.
"Good luck brave knights!" I cried out waving to them.
"I'll see you soon princess!" Justin cried out.
I chose to ignore him and focus on ahead. I think I heard Duncan yell at Justin but couldn't make out the words as we left the studio.
~Timeskip~
Well there I was, stuck up on the water tower that got fixed up toresemble that of a castle tower itself. I was looking down at my friends from above until I noticed the boys show up. I looked at them and listened to what Chris had to say about what they'd have to do next.
"Soon the three knightly heroes reached the tower where Princess Becky was being kept in. As she looked out her window she saw and looked down at the heroes. Wishing them luck on the rest of their quest." Chris read.
"Oh are we using our imaginations since the water tower's made to look like a real tower?" Owen asked Chris.
"Uh yeah sure let's go with that." Chris said just going with it.
"Before our heroes carried on, Princess Becky wished them luck. Becky did you hear that?!"
"Yeah I got that thanks!" I replied.
"Brave knights I wish you luck as you face off against whatever dreadful monster awaits you from getting to me. I bestoe upon you each with a kiss." I told them.
"Sweet~"
"Awesome~"
Cool."
"Sir Harold, may your brain power help you succeed. *blows a kiss*"
Harold caught the kiss and smiled.
"I'll try my best to rescue you Becky! I'll do what I do best like I would if I were rescuing Leshawna from the tower." He explained.
Such a love sick boy he is.
~Harold's Confession~
"As a loyal friend and knight it is my sworn duty to protect and rescue those in danger. It is the knight's code of honor. *holds a hand to his heart*"
~Confession Over~
"Sir Duncan, may your courage and heart help you succeed. *blows a kiss*"
Duncan reached out to grab it, but Justin's own arm reached out and grabbed it, jerk.
"Hey not cool bro, not cool at all." Duncan said to Justin.
"You snooze you lose." Justin told him with a smirk.
I mumbled under my breathe about Justin being nothing more then a jerk before speaking.
"Sir Justin, may your...um...well good luck I guess? *shrugs and blows a kiss*"
Justin reached out to grab another kiss, but Duncan pushed him aside and the kiss got him right on the nose. This made Duncan blush a little and rub the back of his neck.
Leshawna and Lindsey saw this and went 'Aw~' at Duncan's reaction.
~Duncan's Confession~
"Look I don't want people to see me as a softy, but it was a kiss from Smiley. How could I not react to a kiss from her? She makes me feel different and all funny inside. Guess this is what people call funny love then?"
~Confession Over~
"With a kiss from the princess the knights were pumped and ready to take on the dreaded dragon that guarded the tower." Chris read.
"There's gonna be a real dragon?! Oh that would be amazing!" Lindsey explained sounding excited.
"Acutally it's not a real dragon. We just took the giant godzilla robot from the first challenge you all had to do when you came and made it so it looks like a dragon." Chris explained.
Sure enough out came the monsterous robot all done up to appear as a dragon with Chef next to him in the body suit that controls it.
"Good luck you guys, all I can say is I'm glad I'm not any of you right now." Chris told them.
"Oh boy." Leshawna said.
"Uh oh." Owen said.
"Ahhh!" Liindsey cried out.
"..." Heather said nothing. To busy looking at her nails and not caring.
The boys took a few steps back, their gaze never leaving the dragon's sight. All they had to defend themselves were the weapons they had choosen for the first half of the challenge. They'd have to act quickly if they were to survive against Chef's monster rage.
Quickly they scattered like rats as Chef controlled the robot to stomp on the guys. They dodged his stomping attack, but almost got stomped on a few times. It was a hair chilling, heart pounding, and extreme pressure moment. It was like they were the mice and the robot was the cat.
I couldn't help but worry about the boys safety, or at least Duncan and Harold's safety. I wanted to help but I'm currently stuck up in the water tower and climbing down would be dangerous. So I kept watching to the boys run around around and try to attack the robotic beast.
~Becky's Confession~
"I hate not being able to help my friends when trouble's going on. This whole damsel in distree gig stinks. Standing around and waiting to be rescued is boring. *sigh*"
~Confession Over~
What felt like forever was finally coming to an end. My bordom changed into excitement when I saw Duncan climb onto the robots body from behind and then...
~Duncan's POV~
I had been avoiding being stomped on by a giant robot lizard by going back and forth in different directions. Had to run behind the water tower only to run away when a giant hand tried to grab me. While running I noticed Justin trying to stab the feet but they kept lifting up. Even if he could stab the monster by the foot it wouldn't have an affect on him cause his swords made of foam. Hopefully, he does get squished when his guard is down.
Harold was shooting arrows at the monster which stuck to him like glue. Course they were those toy plunger type of arrows that stuck to you pretty good and you have to pull hard at to get off. Not sure what his game plan was but if he can keep Chef's monster busy it might give me the chance to attack.
Then an idea came to mind.
So I ran up to Harold and whispered my idea so Chef wouldn't hear us.
"Hey Harold! Shot your arrows at the back! I'm going to try and climb up and finish this off." I told him.
"If you get to the center on the back stab your sword." He told me.
I nodded and created a distraction so the dweeb could fire his arrows. I called Chef and his stupid robot a ton of names and ran around waving my arms in the air. Gotta say it was fun ticking Chef off. If only he could see his face now. His anger was getting the best of him which gave Harold the opportunity to make his shots.
And he did, a straight line ran down the robots back. Guess those camps Harold went to were actually useful after all? I gave Harold a signal to distract the robot while I climbed up on its back to the center. He did just that going all ninja like the crazy dweeb he is. Had to chase down the robot from behind but eventually I got the job done and was climbing up on its back thanks to the arrows. I'd have to move fast since these arrows weren't going to stick on him forever.
Up I went until I was sure I was at the center. Then Justin saw what I was doing and pointed it out to Chef. As if that wasn't bad enough Chef tried to use the monsters arms to reach his back and sweep me off. Nearly lost my balance and place a few times. Next thing I know I jump onto the right hand and go up into the air.
Holding on for my life, trying not to let go I was being shaken all over the place. Apparently, I wasn't welcomed on the hand so I had to go. I yelled at Harold to do something as I held my grip on the thumb.
"Hold on Duncan!" He cried out.
I don't know what was happening because I closed my eyes.
I just wanted the shaking to stop before I got sick.
~Normal POV~
"Ugh! This guy doesn't know when to let go!" Chef explained as he kept trying to shake off Duncan.
"Put a little more power into that shake Chef!" Chris cried out.
"What the hell do you think I'm doing?! Giving him a free ride?!" Chef replied p.o.
"He's not going to last much longer." Heather said.
She and the rest of the gang were watching the whole thing.
"It's like he's on a crazy out of control ride that never ends." Owen explained clutching handfuls of his hair.
Harold tried to shot more arrows at the monster, but stopped when he realized something. Why was he trying to attack that thing when the real mastermind was Chef? He was controling the robot like a computer chip in the mainframe brain. Destroy the brain and you destroy the robot.
Smirking, Harold took first shot and it flew and hit Chef in the forehead.
"What the? Why is there an arrow on my head?!" Chef questioned pointing to the arrow.
Then Harold shot another one that hit his arm.
"Hey cut that out!"
Harold didn't listen and just kept firing at Chef.
With the monster no longer shaking, Duncan opened his eyes and saw what was happening. He soon realized he could take this opportunity to finish the job. Unknownst to him was Justin, who had climbed up and was on the monsters head.
"Justin what are you doing?!" Duncan questioned.
"I'm going to rescue Princess Becky is what!" He replied.
Next thing you know Justin ran, jumped, and grabbed ahold of a bar on the tower. He began climbing up to reach Becky which was ticking Duncan off.
"Duncan what are you waiting for?! Finish the monster off!" Harold cried out.
Duncan was looking back and forth from the tower to the monster. He wanted to win but he also wanted to get to Becky before Justin did. He knew if he ditched Harold to save Becky he'd never hear the end of it; however, if he defeated the monster Justin would try to make a move on her. However, even if Justin gets to Becky, she'd just kick him in the nuts again.
Knowing what he must do, Duncan hurried up the arm, onto the head, and stuck his sword into the head. It actually did some damage to the robot cause he began to spark, twitch, and move about in a crazy way. Quickly Duncan got off of the robot and took cover behind the tower.
"Timber!" Owen cried out as the robot fell to the ground.
"The dragon has been slayed by Sir Duncan!" Chris explained.
"Nice work dweeb, your distraction worked." Duncan told Harold.
~Harold's Confession~
"Duncan thanked me. He thanked me for what I did. Gosh! This is the best day ever!"
~Confession Over~
~Becky's POV~
I saw Duncan slay the robot and win.
I was so happy for him until I saw Justin get all up in my face.
"Princess, I've come to rescue you." He said to me as he leaned in for a kiss.
"Ew..." I said leaning back from him.
"Hold it! There's nothing in here about a kiss!" Chris told us.
"Huh?" Everybody went.
"But doesn't the hero always kiss the princess?" Lindsey asked.
"True, but in this case Justin and Becky will fight for the chance to get immunity." Chris explained.
"Let me get this straight, you're gonna have those two fight just to keep themselves from being voted off tonight?" Leshawna asked.
"Correct!" Chris replied.
"So, who's going to knock down who first?!"
Before I could say anything, Justin spoke up.
"No, I am a knight who's bound to never hurt a lady. I won't hurt you m'lady so I won't attack." He told me.
"Wow Justin that's actually really nice of you." I said surprised by his choice of words.
"Thank you and now..." He began before leaning in puckering up his lips.
Yeah there's no way I'm going to kiss him.
"Yeah sorry but that's not going to happen." I said giving him a gentle push. Only to have him go falling back and off the tower.
"Oh my gosh! Sorry Justin!" I cried out watching him fall.
"I forgive you princess!" He replied then made noises of pain as he hit objects that were in the way before finally landing on the ground.
~Later~
We were all sitting down at the Guilded Chris Award's Ceremony. I was back in my normal clothes though I kept the tiara on, and luckily Justin wasn't to injured. Just had his arms cast up and bandages on his face. He was going to be fine, but would have to take it easy for a while.
