The next few weeks were boring compared to the concert night. School was coming to an end in a few months and the girls were stressed over exams. A few phonecalls were exchanged between Nate and Kat, but a few was the key word. Two more HotTunes episodes were aired displaying news that Nate and Sarah were 'heating up'. Kat couldn't bring herself to ask him.. because she hoped that it was a rumor. If he kissed her and he was seeing Sarah, she's kill him.

Sarah's new movie premiered and brought in tons of money at the box office. Oddly enough, Connect three attended the premiere. Nate looked sharp as always, Shane and Jason did too. Sarah looked radiant and happy as she posed for a picture with the three teen icons. It was hard enough watching that, but when Nate called her and brought up Sarah and how proud he is of her- that was just peachy.

Taylor walked through the hallways of her school. Her best friend Morgan at her side and Morgan's boyfriend Jonah next to her. She was on her way to math class, that is, until her phone rang. She glanced at the screen and felt her breath stop in her throat, she had to take this, "Morgan, I'll be right back," she said quickly, escaping to the bathroom and flipping open her phone, "What do you want.. Jason?" she asked.

It was quiet on the other end, "I.. Taylor, listen," he paused and Taylor didn't say anything. She knew Jason was trying to keep his stupid comments in his mouth, "Um, okay, camp was.. at the end of camp-."

"I know Jason, okay," Taylor spat, feeling that farmilliar burning in her cheeks. She couldn't help but blush when the topic was brought up. It wasn't out of embarrassment it was out of fear, not knowing how to handle situations, "I'll send BH to you in the mail, it's okay, I don't care anymore okay!"

Jaosn groaned and as Taylor went to hang up he started to talk again, "That's not what I meant, Taylor!" his voice was the loudest Taylor ever heard it, "You know that's stupid, I wouldn't give you BH if I didn't want you to keep him!" Taylor shut her eyes and smacked her head repeatidly on the cold bathroom wall.

"Then what do you want, why are you calling me?!"

Jason cleared his throat and sighed, "Nevermind. I'm not talking to you if you're going to act like you're in grade two again," the line went dead. Taylor opened her eyes and felt water blurring her vision. That was the most mature Jason had ever sounded and now she was left looking like the young one. Before she could move, she heard the door open and Morgan walked in, rushing to her side.

"Tay, what happened!?" she asked grabbing her cellphone and looking at it, "Jason?"

Taylor nodded, wanting to rewind to the summer.. camp was too far away and if she went this year, which she was doubting, Jason would be there... oh how lovely.

Kat sat in her bedroom bopping her head to some Connect Three. She didn't notice her phone vibrating infront of her, it rang three times before it finally beeped, signalling that she had a text message. Reaching over and shoving more popcorn in her mouth, she sub-conciously began to read it. But as she read it her mouth dropped the popcorn and she began having a spasm,

Tay's in the hospital,
call me ASAP!

Kat dialed Angelika, not caring about the long- distance bill at this moment. She waited until Angelika answered and she began to ramble, "Ange, what the hell is going on, What happened to Taylor- is she okay?!" before Angelika could reply to everything, it was quiet.

"Where the hell were you?" Angelika said slowly and forcefully, "I tried calling you, like, one thousand times."

Kat sighed, realizing that she left it on vibrate, "I'm sorry.. my phone was on vibrate.. what happened to Taylor?"

Angelika was quiet for bit, then Kat heard her trying to talk, clearly this was bad. She waited and waited until she finally began to cry, fearing the worst, "No, No, Kat- it's not like that!" Angelika said quickly, hearing her whimper softly through the phone. Though her voice cracked, Kat believed her, "I- I just feel horrible.. we got into this huge fight at the guys' concert last month and now..," it was quiet again.

Kat was still crying, trying to peice everything together, "You aren't a bad friend, Ange, you got into a fight," she whispered, wiping her eyes, "What happened to Tay, please tell me she's okay."

"She got into an accident," Angelika said, trying to remain her calmest. Kat's breath hitched, she didn't want to cry when she didn't know what was happening. Angelika seemed to be keeping it together well, so that meant it couldn't be that bad.. right, "She was going home from school.. I-I don't know what to do, her mom wants us to visit because she won't be out of the bed for months."

"Months?!" Kat choked out, alarmed and afraid.

Angelika sighed and waited for Kat to calm down a bit, "Yes Kat, months, and I want to see her, but i'm not made of money. Plus, the guys still don't know about it and Taylor might not be able to go to camp, I just.. don't know what to tell her mom or myself.. I don't know what to do," Kat sat still, scared. Scared for Taylor, scared for Angelika's well-being and if she was going to torture herself over this, "Do you want to visit?"

"Yes," Kat said sternly, nodding though she knew that Ange couldn't see her, "I do Angelika, Taylor's glued to her bed for months, I can't just leave her like that. Especially Taylor, she's so chaotic and always moving, constant-."

"No Kat," Angelika cut her off, "I meant would you visit... with me," she whispered quietly, trying not to tear apart. Honestly, the guilt was eating away at her, if anything worse happened to Taylor she'd hate herself. Honesty wasn't the best policy in their situation, clearly. It had ruined a lot for her.

She heard another sniffle on Kat's end, "Yes," Kat answered, "I'll visit with you, but I don't think I can bring myself to call Nate without.. I don't know, could you call the guys, just to let them know?" Angelika agreed and then they hung up and she dialed Shane's number, knowing he'd be the most stable in this situation.

After a few rings, Shane answered, sounding groggy and oblivious, "Mmphello?" he muttered into the receiver.

"Shane?" Angelika asked shakily.

"Yeah?" he replied.

"Shane, I- I need to talk to you, are you with Nate and Jason?" she heard him shuffling around. Shane was ruffling the bed sheets, trying to get comfortable again. He was half-asleep, not sure what was going on, "Shane?"

Shane groaned, "They're sleeping right now- like I was," Angelika sighed, feeling bad about the situation, but clearly their times were way off, "Who is this.. anyways?"

"It's Angelika!" she cried, feeling the emotion sheer through her voice. Shane was quiet, clearly quite alarmed, "This is important, Shane, please.. wake them up."

"All right," he mumbled, still attempting to wake up from the late night call, "This better be worth it, Angelika, it's four in the morning here," he said bluntly. Angelika rolled her eyes, wanting to break the news to them.. well more like him.. Jason was the one she was worried about. She tried to wait patiently as Shane tapped Nate on the shoulder.

Nate grumbled in his sleep and then spun around, "WHAT?" he snapped. Shane frowned, looking at his bandmate through lidded eyes, "Important phone call, it's Angelika- she says it's some sort of an emergancy," Nate was alert at the word 'emergancy' and 'Angelika', he wondered if it was Kat and what was so urgent.

Nate swung his legs over his bunk as Shane ducked down to wake up Jason. He gently tapped his shoulder, he stirred, but didn't do anything. So he decided to take a step on the dramatic side and gripped his shoulders, shaking him wildly, "JASON!" Jason shot up, smashing his head on the top of the bunk about him and then falling back down, covering his face in pain. Shane held in his laughter, "I- ahahahahah," he errupted into laughter.

"What!?" Jason shouted.

"Shane, the emergancy?" Nate trailed off, rubbing his eyes.

Shane grabbed the phone and flipped it to speakerphone, "Right," he nodded, "What is it Angelika, what's up?" he was now semi- awake, the whole Jason thing making him crack up into life, back into consiousness. They waited until they heard a soft breath and they understood that this was terribly.. terribly wrong, "Ange?"

"It's Taylor...," she trailed off.

"What?" Jason asked, leaning closer to the phone, now in great interest. Nate frowned, glancing at Jason curiously.

Angelika softly began to speak again, "She was in an accident..," she said slowly again. The suspense was killing Jason, he needed to know what happened and if she was okay, he didn't like these un-finished sentences, the hesitance was making him think that something worse than he had imagined had happened.

"What happened?" Shane asked cautiously.

"She was on her bike.. and a car.. hit her, she's in the hospital.. she still hasn't woken up and i'm.. i-i'm scared," Angelika began to cry and the three boys sat in shock. How did this happen? How did a moving car not see a girl on her bike? Nate, who's eyes were still half-closed, brought his hands through his tangled curls, "I thought i'd l-let you know, Her mom called me.. I-," she stopped talking to cry again.

Jason stood up, wiping the sleep away from his eyes, "How?!" he yelled, scaring the two guys still seated, "FUCK!"

"Language!" Nate screamed at him, knowing well that his mother and younger sister were sleeping on the couches. The one night that they stay on his bus, this happens, lovely.

"Shut up!" Jason yelled at Nate, anger spinning through him, "Is this the time to think about that Nathaniel!?" he spat.

"Oh don't start with the 'Nathaniel' crap, just calm down!" he glared, shaking his head and looking back to the phone, which was still quiet. Shane was trying to talk to Angelika, trying to get more information and comfort her.

Jason's head was spinning, "Calm down? She's in the hospital, why should I be calm?!" Nate and Shane both looked away from the phone and slowly looked up at Jason, who was trying to stop pacing. Nate felt angry watching him get worried and sick from the news. Angelika was softly calming down on the other end.

"I don't know, Jason, maybe because you've ignored her for the past six months?" Nate sneered. Shane turned, pushing Nate roughly for even saying that. Nate fell lightly, ending up on his butt instead of kneeling. Jason had stopped pacing at was staring down at him.

He watched Nate's expression harden, still annoyed, "Good one, idiot, this coming from the dude that barely talks to his girlfriend."

"It's not my fault i'm touring the world."

"Then MAYBE you shouldn't be yelling at me, when i'm doing the same thing!"

"I didn't promise that we'd stay together!" Nate snapped. Shane sat between them, his head in his hands, Angelika's end was silent, obviously listening to the arugement, "Maybe you should only promise things you could keep, Jason, instead of treating her like dirt."

Jason glared and then lurched forwards, ready to punch Nate's lights out. Shane jumped up as soon as he saw the action, throwing his phone to the side and grabbing Jason off of Nate. It took a while to settle out the wrestling match, Shane had gotten hit a few times in the process, "STOP IT!" he screamed, Nate's mom stirred in the other room, "You guys are being assholes, Taylor's in the hospital and you guys are arguing, do you not realize how serious this is?" he glanced between the two guys, who were fixing themselves up. Nate glared at Jason, they were used to Nate being the mature one.

"Guys?" they heard a light voice.

Shane looked around, "Shit," he murmered, realizing he threw his phone. He looked around, seeing it wenched between the bunks and the cupboards, "Sorry Angelika," he sighed, pushing Jason into his bunk and pointing to Nate's. They both obeyed and entered there beds, still looking at the phone.

"We're going to visit her, do you want me to send your 'get well' wishes?" she asked carefully.

Shane cleared his throat, "What if she's..."

"Then I'll write her a note," Angelika declared, "If i'm going down there, i'm staying for a bit, not just one day."

"Okay," Shane said weakly, "This sucks," he murmered.

"It does," she agreed, "I have to go, dinner, i'll talk to you guys later."

"Bye Ange," Shane said calmly.

"Bye Ange!" Jason shouted, like she wouldn't hear him if he didn't scream.

"Bye Angelika," Nate said quietly.

"Bye Nate, Bye Jase," both curtains shut dramatically, leaving Shane alone with his phone, "Bye.. Shane."

"Bye Ange," click.

Shane sighed, wiping his face in frusteration.

Why was everything so dramatic?
and how come it had to happen to a girl like her?
