.

I've never felt so relieved in my life. Even if I wasn't a hundred percent sure, somehow, my mind and heart believed that yes, this is how it should be. This is over. For me; and especially for her.

"...is him..."

"Really? Well, based on your reaction. You must be getting used to that, huh?"

"...I guess."

Wait a minute. Voices of women?

"But it's a good thing. Don't you think?"

"I don't know. He might get killed someday, because of that."

Oh yeah. That voice...

I realized, as I came to senses, that I've been sleeping so I immediately opened my eyes and blinked repeatedly to adjust them to the light of the surroundings. I could careless of who they were talking about, (although I already have an idea...) But that latter voice, I felt the vibration of it. It's as if she's just near me, or to be specific, besides my ear.

"Hey, cool kid."

I rubbed my eyes behind my glasses, and slowly looked up. "Jodie-sensei..."

The brunette agent smiled at me by the rearview mirror of the car. Oh right. Jodie-sensei did volunteer to give us a ride back to our hometown.

"Regained your strength? You could still sleep if you like. There's still an hour or so to Beika, you know." she added.

"Uh, no, I'm good." I replied a little bit slow and sleepy.

I yawned. Crap, I feel so spent. Aside from the fact that I have bandages covering my upper arm. Damn Gin. But at least, all of those hardships were worth it.

That's right. Gin. And even the Black Organization itself...would be just a nightmare for us now.

I pushed my glasses on my eyes as I looked down on myself. I saw my own small body, besides someone as the same size. I grinned. It was Haibara, the one Jodie-sensei's been talking to a little while ago.

"Aren't you going to move now?" Haibara's voice rang out as if to confirm it.

Ah, she's near me, alright. I felt the vibration again. I lifted the arm with my watch and looked at it. I've been sleeping for two hours straight if I was correct. I grinned wider.

"Did you hear me? You're drooling." Haibara blurted out monotonously.

My eyes widened a bit as I swiftly lifted my head away from her shoulder. My hand automatically searched for any sign of wetness on my face. When I felt it dry, I deadpanned. "Seriously, Haibara..."

Haibara flexed her shoulders and massaged it. "Yeah, Kudo-kun. Seriously... You're enjoying yourself too much."

I couldn't help but smile despite that. I honestly didn't know I was resting my head on her shoulder for two hours. Who knows why she let me. But I do know a very kind and considerate Haibara could appear every once in a while, a very rare occurence I might say. So I admit I felt a bit delighted inside that I managed to force her to be like that, unconsciously.

"Well, you could've just pushed me away or something. But anyway, thanks Haibara." I placed my hand on her shoulder which became my pillow for hours. "..and sorry. Still in shape?"

"Ahem, ahem!"

We turned our heads to Jodie-sensei who, obviously, coughed purposely. I pulled my hand away from Haibara.

"Uhh... Y-yeah. Wh-Where's Hakase and the others by the way? We didn't get the chance to talk to them, 'cause we kinda...passed out, and our cellphones were drained."

Jodie-sensei grinned before answering. "They went ahead as we took you two to the hospital. Don't worry though, they're all fine. I told them, you're with me and some excuses."

"That's good to hear. Thanks Jodie-sensei."

"Yes, about that, we're the ones who should say that, Conan-kun." Jodie-sensei turned left on the intersection. "If it weren't for you, Gin might have escaped again. But what you did, was too dangerous. It could cost your life. On the other hand, the results are unbelievable."

"Yeah, though we already did it months ago. I still couldn't believe we did it again, myself."

"Me too. Apparently, that's because Gin's already been cornered from the start. He did escape but he's not that strong as he was anymore. It's incomparable from the first time we caught him. 'Cause now, he's...alone. He was betrayed."

"...Yeah."

Well, not that he looked like he's trusted anyone before in his life or even, not expecting a betrayal on his side. But then again, she's right. Gin's not that Gin we knew before. Because if he still is, we might hadn't captured him as easily as that.

All the while, Haibara remained silent. She's looking outside the car's window. She didn't even look at Jodie-sensei or even make a face. Well, not that I expect her to, really. I know she still has this unsettling things about Gin. I resented that man too, but it could not be compared from what Haibara's gone through with him or that Organization. She'd lost everything, including her identity and at some extent, the will to live. But-

I looked at Haibara's impassive face.

After all that, right this moment, somehow... I know she already welcomed 'peace' in her mind. She faced her fears, and chose her own fate, she didn't escape from it. For once in months that we've been together, I could say that now, Haibara's at ease. At the very least.

"Kudo-kun, what will you do now?" that same strawberry blonde haired girl I've been pondering about asked me out of the blue. Still not looking.

"Huh? Uh, well..." I shrugged. "Getting my old life back comes first, I guess."

"..."

"Yeah, I know. I need the antidote for that to happen. And with that, I'll help you."

She turned her head to face me, looking a bit confused for a moment. Then, she smirked. "Really. I doubt you could."

"Why? You still planning to pursue your trip?" I raised a brow.

"Of course. There's still no reason for me to cancel it." she said with a hint of amusement, and bit of a déjà vu to me. She closed her eyes and turned to lean her head on the window glass, appearing to be as exhausted as I am.

I snorted. "Yeah, like you also have a VALID reason for leaving." I hissed, narrowing my eyes.

"That topic again, huh. For your information, I have tons of VALID reason." She replied calmly. Opening her eyes to look at me.

"Give me one, then."

"You, Kudo-kun, is one."

"Me?" I blinked. "Or you mean, the antidote?" I squinted my eyes more. "I consider that invalid."

"Think what you want." She shifted in her seat. It seems she's beginning to get herself to sleep. "You wouldn't understand, anyway."

I frowned. "What are you talking about?"

"That's what I'm talking about."

I frowned even more. "This isn't just about me anymore."

"I know."

I sighed lazily. "Seriously? Well, it doesn't look like it."

Haibara didn't reply. She just closed her eyes again and let out a deep sigh. I looked at her carefully. What did she mean, me? How am I going to understand what's on her mind if she wouldn't give me a piece of it? I decided to shrug it off for now as I shook my head lightly. "Taku..."

"My, my. I thought you already have a girlfriend." Jodie-sensei commented jokingly. "Loverboy?"

"Haa?" I looked at the FBI agent incredulously. "That's not..."

Then she giggled.

"Hey!"

After that, Haibara fell asleep.

.

o.o.o.o.o

.

"This isn't Hakase's."

Haibara, in a seemingly bad mood, stated while standing in front of my house. The Kudo Residence. We've just arrived and she doesn't like the place. I smiled at her, sheepishly. I could see a very faint smoke coming from her as she breathes because of the low temperature. She just gave me a weird look.

"I think that's because he saw someone he doesn't want to meet at the moment." Jodie-sensei answered cheerily, poking her head out of the window of her car. She parked it right across my house. "Right, Conan-kun?"

I flinched a little as I tried to laugh at what she said. "Well..."

Haibara continued to bore holes to my face with her piercing stare. Her expression silently saying, 'baka tantei'.

"Hey, come on. I'll explain it later. But for now..." I turned to the agent. "Thanks a lot, Jodie-sensei."

Jodie-sensei smiled. "Anytime, cool kid. I'll keep you informed, okay? See you around, and please.. fix your love life." and then, she winked.

"What?!" I burst out. But she already drove the car and left. I snorted. "Women."

"She's right, though." Haibara said, holding her crutch tightly. "Fix it now. I want to go home."

I blinked at her. Haibara knew? "Let's go inside first. It's freezing out here." I opened our gates and walked inside.

.

o.o.o.o.o

.

"Thanks."

Haibara handed me a steaming cup of tea, and settled herself besides where I was sitting. After struggling to make some hot beverage, finally, she stepped in to make some hot tea for us. Of which I was grateful.

I glanced around. The house was still the same, even inside. It's all thanks to Ran, for going here and bothering herself to clean the place occasionally.

Ran.

I subconsciously ran my fingers through my hair. I knew why I avoided her after seeing her walking towards Agasa-hakase's house a little earlier, while Haibara's fast asleep, and Jodie-sensei's driving the car. I didn't want her to see me, yet. Not without any doubts. I thought I was ready to tell her everything she wanted to know. But after seeing her, I realized I was wrong. So here we are, ended up in a different place.

"I hope you're not trying to think of making up a story to support your reason of dragging me here, Tantei-san." Haibara ended the silence with those words. She looked so calm as opposed to what she said.

I looked at her with a straight face. "To tell you the truth, it really wasn't my intention to drag you here, as you were insisting. You're sleeping back there and I..." I trailed off, and I can't believe it. I mean, I'm not lying that it wasn't my intention. I grunted. "Anyway, we'll leave after recharging our phones, don't worry." I sipped on my tea. I knew my 'straight face' faded after that.

She gazed at the cup in her hands. Her expression turning into a soft one. "She'd be worried, you know."

I tried not to choke on my tea. I was surprised to hear that from her; in a soft tone for that matter. I still managed to look at her face solemnly, though, putting the cup on the table.

Afterwards, she shrugged and added, "Not that I care." and took a drink on her tea.

Yeah, right.

I must admit, I wanted to smile. Even after saying that, I know she cared. She really cared. "Haibara..."

Her bored aquamarine eyes moved to meet mine. She lowered her hands with the cup. "What's with that expression?"

"Huh? What?"

She narrowed her eyes and whispered, "Baka."

I smiled lazily. "Gee, thanks. I've already heard it countless times from you. Although, you admitted that I'm the Holmes in this generation with a face that-ouch!"

She kicked me!

"It's just the truth!"

She smirked. "Which of those?"

My mouth opened to retort but no words came out. Instead, we just stared at each other. Me, examining her and her, smirking at me. I closed my lips in a thin line. This cold, sarcastic woman was the only one who could do this to me. The only woman who could make me seem like an idiot if she wanted to. The only woman who could exchange thoughts, ideas and witty words with me. The only woman who truly understands me and my situation without the need to pretend. And mostly, the only woman that made my life miserable but at the same time, made my miserable life worth living, by sharing the same fate and the same secret. Out of everyone, out of anyone else in this world.

I clenched my fists tight. What can I do to make her stay? Now that I did something I shouldn't have. Things would probably get complicated and because of that, she'll definitely leave. I should be planning ways to make her stay, not the other way around.

"Oh right, Kudo-kun." she looked at me sternly. "Before I leave, I'll give you a temporary antidote. Let me tell you though, I wouldn't be responsible for its side effects-"

"Sorry." I said, ignoring what she informed me.

She blinked. "...Come again?"

I gazed straight in her turquoise orbs. "Sorry, Haibara."

I could clearly see her eyes widening in shock as she looked at me. She did not reply but the question, "why" was written all over her face.

I removed my glasses, and put it away. "I promised her." I breathed. "I promised Ran that I would tell her who you really are and what you mean to me. But I know I can't. I don't have the right to do that. Revealing your real identity, is your decision to make, not mine."

Silence.

And I really couldn't tell what she's thinking right now. The astonished face was already gone, it was now void with emotions. However, she did talk after a few seconds or minutes of silence.

"So that's why you avoided her." she finally said, as a matter-of-factly.

I nodded. "Yeah, and-"

"Then, tell her."

I stopped. "What?"

"Tell her, Kudo-kun." she repeated, more firmly.

My eyes widened. "Haibara..."

She smirked. "I really don't care if you do that now, honestly. I'll be gone in a few days. Even if you tell her everything you know about me, it won't bother me anymore. You have my permission." She placed the emptied cup of tea on the center table. "Is that all?"

That's it? She permitted it 'cause she wanted to leave so bad? But that's the last thing I wanted to happen. I don't want her to go, but I don't wanna hurt Ran either. 'Cause by telling Ran about Haibara and what she means to me, it could hurt her...Ran. And if I lie... No, I don't want to lie to her anymore, or even break a promise.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Ara, you want me to change my mind?" she teased. I just stared. "You can thank me later."

"Stop kidding around."

Haibara's side of lips turned upwards a little. "As you said, this isn't just about you anymore. There are other people involved. That's why..." she reached for my eyeglasses and turned to face me on the couch.

She slowly put it on me. "You can't hesitate, Kudo Shinichi. Don't fail her." she cooed.

I don't know what happened to me, or what came into me. Maybe it's because of what she said, or maybe it's because of the atmosphere, but I just found myself leaning forward and placing my head and chin, over Haibara's shoulder. Slowly, I shifted and gauged her reaction. And to my surprise, she didn't push me away.

"Honestly, Haibara.. I already know what to do." I muttered under my breath, closing my eyes. "But, somehow, this feels wrong."

"Didn't you hear me? I just said, you can't hesitate." she replied harshly.

"Geez. Yeah, I heard you. But that isn't helping. You'll still leave and..." I sighed deeply. "Never mind." I turned my head and my nose reached her strawberry blonde hair.

"You..." she mumbled.

All of a sudden, we heard a loud crash of something. It's like, a large ornament fell.

"Oops."

Haibara and I instantly distanced ourselves with each other as soon as we heard there's someone else with us.

.

o.o.o.o.o

.

"Ugh! W-Why didn't you..t-tell me that..you'll be coming back? And how long have you been standing there?!"

My mom, Yukiko, just giggled while hugging me like there's no tomorrow. "Ooh my! My little detective didn't notice me? Hee-hee, well, if I told you beforehand that I will be coming home today, then I wouldn't be able to see what I saw a while ago. Don't you think?" she obviously ignored my last question. But thank goodness, she finally released me.

I sighed, exasperated. Way to go, Kaasan.

"Where did she go, by the way?" Mom asked, searching for Haibara.

"Away from you, most probably." I answered, rolling my eyes. Truth was, Haibara said she wanted to give us a 'Mama's Boy' reunion. But there's no way I'd consider telling that to Mom. "So, anyway.. What brings you here, Mom?"

"Oh. I just came back here to check up on you and tell you personally that your Dad is in trouble." she told me, looking above occasionally as if remembering something.

I raised a brow. "In trouble? Does he need help?"

"Yes and no! Don't worry, he'll be fine and I am going to wherever he was as soon as I gather my things here." she said happily.

I nodded, understanding. "Take care then."

"Right!" She took a deep breath. "Soo~" Mom smiled mischievously. "Ai-chan sure is popular among guys too, eh?" she nudged on my ribs.

"Oh, uh yeah... I guess." I shrugged, squinting my eyes. "Mitsuhiko and some guy we just met have a crush on her, apparently."

Mom chuckled. "I think you forgot to mention someone."

"Really?"

She laughed. "Yes."

"Who?"

She leveled her head to mine and whispered, "Yourself."

I scooted away. "WHAT? What the... What are you... N-No way!" I almost shouted as my chest started to tighten itself. "What gives you that idea? There's...There's already someone that I like."

She just smiled. "Of course. I know that, Shin-chan. I'm just joking."

"Taku..." I scowled.

"But, if you ask me, from the way I see it... That's just what you know and what your mind has always been telling you."

I looked at her, a little suspicious. Mom just smiled more sweetly. "I saw it all you know, and trust me, I know a lot about this. So, I'll give you some quick advice," she raised a hand. "You have to use and listen to THAT even just once in a while." and pointed a finger at my chest. "By that, you can figure this out. I know you can. You're his son and MY son, after all."

"Mom, just what do you..."

"As much as I wanted to give you a complete Mom Talk, Shin-chan, Hakase is waiting for the two of you, so is Ran-chan." she placed her hands on my shoulders. "I'll take you there." she winked and called Haibara.

.

o.o.o.o.o

.

Well, I DID expect this.

"I was worried, you know!"

"S-Sorry."

"You're always like that, you freak." Ran said, teary-eyed. "You always lie to me. You told me there's nothing dangerous going on. But what if something actually happened to you? What would I do if you..."

I looked down on the ground. "I'm sorry."

She let out a deep breath. "Shinichi..."

"But believe me, the last thing I wanted to do is to have you worry. If I can help it, I'd do anything to avoid that."

She looked at me for a minute before she replied.

"...I know that." she muttered, now in a calm manner. "And, I understand. I really do. I just want you to...tell me what you're going through. I can't just let you do things on your own. I want to help in any way I can."

I nodded and looked at her. I briefly wondered of the means of how will I tell her about Haibara. "Thanks."

Ran smiled in relief. "Yeah, and I'm glad you came back home safe."

"Yo, Ku-Kiddo! Ran-san!"

Hattori Heiji, the high school detective from Osaka, the Great Detective of the West, suddenly appeared behind us. I bet he just arrived here in Hakase's. He raised his hand to greet us.

"Heiji-kun," Ran looked behind him, as if searching for someone. "I see that Kazuha's not with you today. Where is she?"

"Err.. Let's just say, she uh...doesn't know I'm here. He-he." he replied, scratching his cheeks. "Well, anyway! How are you, Conan!" Hattori pat my head.

I just looked at him lazily. "You know Hattori, Kudo is fine."

Hattori blinked and he quickly turned his head to Ran, who's smiling at him. He gaped a little before turning to me again.

"You mean, she..." The tanned detective pointed Ran. I just nod. And he sighed. "You should've told me that sooner!"

"Why should I?" I retorted, moving to sit on the couch. They did the same. "So? what business do you have here?" I asked Hattori.

"You don't know?! I'm here to congratulate you personally! As soon as the news came to me, I immediately went here to hear the whole ordeal from you."

Wow, that 'news' sure spread that fast, huh?

"So...Where's that Ojou-chan? I thought she's with you?" he inquired.

"Haibara?" I raised a brow. "Yeah, she was. She's just...with Mom now." I glanced away.

"Your mom is here?" Ran asked, incredulous.

"Yes but, she'll leave before long."

Hattori nodded. "Okay, so... Let's hear it!"

I told him everything that happened, starting from Jodie-sensei's call to Gin's captivity. And because Ran's here, I excluded some part about Haibara's identity or anything that'll make her suspicious. It's not that easy, mind you, because I have to revise it a little to make it believable enough for Ran. Haibara's a PART of the whole incident after all. It's not really called lying(to her), but whatever, at least I knew Hattori understood.

"Hmm... That's quite..." Hattori looked like he was giving it some kind of analysis after I ended the storytelling. He knitted his brows then...

"...boring."

He lazily said with half-lidded eyes as if he's really that bored or something. Ha-ha, well it's not like I expected him the opposite, anyway.

"It's good you weren't there, eh?" I told him, smiling sarcastically.

"Not at all. I just didn't expect that guy to be boring, if you know what I mean.."

"He wasn't. Before."

"But I think it's...horrible." Ran butt in. "..For that Gin guy to...you know, hostage a girl who was once a part of their organization." she commented softly.

Hattori and I turned to her with a grave expression, then we glanced at each other.

"Do you know where's that girl now?" Ran asked next, a bit worriedly.

Hattori looked away, while I searched for my voice to say the RIGHT answer for her question. "Uhh..well, she's..."

"Hello everybody~" came a familiar voice, with footsteps. It's Mom.

...and, speaking of the devil. Haibara's also with her(Mom, supporting her back), together with Agasa-hakase.

"Hello Auntie." Hattori and Ran greeted her back.

Mom smiled. "Hi Ran-chan, and Heiji! It has been a long time, eh?"

"Here, I brought us some cupcakes and hot tea." Hakase said with tray in hands.

"Thank-Oh! Ai-chan, what happened to you?" Ran suddenly stood up and approached Haibara, who's supporting herself with a crutch.

Haibara glanced to my direction before answering Ran. "I was shot."

All of us, except Mom, widened our eyes in shock. I almost gasped loudly, actually. Even Agasa-hakase's reaction was the same. There's already sweat on his forehead, like Hattori.

Haibara, this is not the right time! What are you thinking?

"Shot?" Ran was as shocked as us.

"Uhh...! Th-That's right," I started. "She was almost shot by that bad guy but she...tripped. So yeah, she miraculously dodged it. And it's thanks to that she's still here." I tried to smile while making that up.

Haibara just rolled her eyes as she walked to sit away from me.

"Really? Thank goodness. I thought you were really shot. But are you sure you're alright? I mean, it's difficult for you to walk on that, considering your age and size." Ran sat across Haibara, and that was beside me.

"It's quite alright. I've been in a lot more dangerous situations. Much worse than this." Haibara replied calmly, grabbing her cup of tea.

I wanted to slap my hands to my face, really. What's with her? Does she really enjoy watching me getting frustrated or something?

"Oh yeah! I remember that! I remember that...uh, you saved her from that bus when it was about to explode, right? It was a lot more dangerous than that! You remember it right? Conan?" Hattori explained nervously. How did he know that happened? By the way, he looked so funny with that expression.

"Ah. I remember, of course. Ha-ha."

"Right? Ha-ha."

Actually, I also looked ridiculous. We looked like idiotic clowns right now. Me and Hattori. Dammit.

"I see. Sorry about that Ai-chan. You were always getting involved in danger." my childhood friend claimed. She doesn't seem to suspect anything. Good.

Haibara sighed, clearly getting annoyed in each second. "Don't be sorry. I was really a-"

"BAA-CHAN! You will be late!" I almost shouted. And it startled Ran, and irritated Haibara.

Mom quirked an eyebrow. "Baa-chan?"

"I-I mean, Auntie."

Mom suddenly giggled. "You're right. Well, I'll be going. Let's celebrate our victory when I come back with Yusaku, OK? Take care, all of you." she winked. "Ran-chan, I'll be counting on you about Shin-chan. Bye!"

"Um, okay." Ran answered.

I was taken aback when Mom kissed me suddenly on my cheek. "H-Hey!"

Then she whispered. "I like Ai-chan too. Take care of her."

I looked at Haibara, who was glaring at me. I tried to return the intensity of the glare. "You don't have to tell me twice."

Mom smiled before she'd gone out. While Hattori was obviously attempting hard(but failed) not to laugh. Geez.

"Oh, the detective boys called. They said they'll be coming here today. I need more cupcakes I suppose." Agasa-hakase chuckled as he speak.

"I'll help you." Ran stood up.

"You will? Oh, thank you, Ran-kun."

"Tell me about it later." she smiled at me before walking away.

After Hattori's laugh died out, and Ran was out of sight, I stared at Haibara, intently. And then, Hattori looked at us lazily with a there-they-go kind of expression.

That strawberry blonde looked down on the cupcakes solemnly. She seemed bored but then, she noticed I was staring at her after awhile. She looked at me. "What?"

"Nothing. I am just amused about the things you said earlier." I answered, squinting my eyes.

"Really? I was just telling her the truth."

"I should be the one telling that to her, Haibara."

"I am giving you a favor, Kudo-kun."

"Thank you, but I don't need it."

"Welcome."

I heard Hattori sighed as we engaged ourselves in a staring competition.

"You know, you two..." the detective with a baseball cap began but was interrupted by a ringing mobile phone. "That's mine, I guess... Hello? Uh, Kazu-" he suddenly stood up. He smiled nervously to us. "I'll be right back."

He quickly walked his way out. It was definitely his unofficial girlfriend, Toyama Kazuha.

"Kudo-kun."

Haibara whispered and I looked at her. She's more serious looking now.

"You have to tell her what she wants to know. There's nothing to worry about. 'Cause you said so yourself, it's over."

I just stared at her as she looked to other direction, away from me.

"Tell her I am Miyano Shiho and not the kid, Haibara Ai. Tell her I am the criminal who ruined your life, that I created what made you Edogawa Conan. That I am a former member of the most dangerous organization in the world, that almost killed you. And the one that..."

"..will help me be Kudo Shinichi again."

I interrupted her and she looked at me, a bit surprised. I clenched my fists tight. "Shut up already, Haibara. I know what I should be telling her. Your only job right now is to stay here." I took a breath. "To stay here with me and not to go to a far away place."

She stopped. And just stared. What the... Wait. Did I really just say 'with me'?

"With you?" Haibara repeated. With a straight face.

"W-With us! Shut up already!"

Crap, I felt my heart's pounding faster than normal. I was beginning to get nervous as I looked away from her. Where did that come from? It's supposed to be in a sarcastic way! Minus that 'with me' part. What was I thinking?

Ugh.

I heard her sipped on her tea so I decided to glance back. And to my surprise, she was smiling. I quickly averted my gaze away again. I know that smile. That smile of hers that's making me...

"AI-CHAN! CONAN-KUN!"

"Haibara-san! Conan-kun!"

I almost jumped at that. Those voices were...

"I guess I'm not going to a far away place for now, huh." Haibara said, looking at the door as if waiting for the voices to come in.

I just grunted and chose not to say anything. 'Cause yeah, they're already here, the detective boys. I sighed.

In relief? I don't know.

.

o.o.o.o.o

.

"Tropical Land?"

"Yeah, Conan-kun! My Mother gave me tickets to Tropical Land this morning. I want to spend this day with everyone, especially Ai-chan. I know she's still recovering but..." Ayumi looked at Haibara and she's slowly looking more and more sad as she speak. "...it's already the 22nd today. By 24th, you'll leave right, Ai-chan?"

"Haibara-san..."

We all looked at Haibara's stoic face. These three kids were all gloomy, it's starting to affect the mood. As for me, I don't know. I honestly don't know what to feel.

Haibara looked at each of the three kids' expressions. Then, she slowly smiled. "Let's go to Tropical Land, then."

With just that, they suddenly cheered up. They jumped. And happiness was already evident on their faces. Genta and Mitsuhiko offered to be her slave-I mean, they offered to assist her in any way they can. Since she's still holding a crutch. And Ayumi promised to make it memorable.

As for Haibara, she seemed...happy too. She's smiling. And when she looked at me...

I can't help but smile as well.
