(Time Lapse)

The redhead came to his senses and looked around the room, slowly. He push his figure up both of his arms and could only feel the feeling of wanting to go back to bed. The curly haired boy could only remember snip bits of what actually happened. As he looked over to the other side of his room, he felt someone else's touch and jolted.

A tall raven haired figure suddenly emerged from underneath the sets and said, "Hinata, are you alright?"

Hinata had to think about this. Was he alright? Had something happened that he wouldn't be fine? The boy didn't know how to really respond but nodded silently.

Kageyama smiled, it was rare to see him smile, Hinata knew that much. When the other went as far as giving him a hug, the redhead was left in shock. He hadn't known the raven to be such an affectionate person...he barely remembered him. The redhead pulled away first and asked a little shocked, "What happened? Why are you acting so strange King Kageyama?"

Kageyama sighed loudly, he knew Hinata was only temporarily in a slight amnesia due to what had happened to the redhead. "What do you remember Hinata?" The King asked plainly.

Hinata gulped audibly. The redhead forced his head to think as hard as it could but nothing seemed to come out of it. Hinata then said sheepishly, "I know that you destroyed my kingdom and I came here to wanting you to give it back."

Kageyama shook his head in disappointment and sighed, "Yes that did happen, but you don't remember any of the more recent events?"

"Recent?" Hinata asked confused.

The raven rolled his eyes, "Forget it, just know that you are currently suffering a slight amnesia right now. Your memories should all be back soon."

Just as Kageyama got up from the bed Hinata grabbed his arm and pleaded, "Wait, what are you talking about?"by he red head was stuck more is disbelief than anything. Why did he have amnesia? "What have I...I don't even know what to ask." The carrot head said softly.

Kageyama almost groaned but then he saw the starry-ness of Hinata's round eye and did so without making a sound. "Where should I start?"

The redhead thought about it and his eyes caught the wedding ring on his ring finger. The ring caught him by surprise because he didn't remember being married. He showed the raven his ring and said, "Do you know enough about me that you can tell me who I'm married to?"

Kageyama smirked and said lightly, "The only other person in the room that owns the same ring."

Hinata glanced around but saw no one else. His eyes were the brought to the attention of Kageyama's ring finger, that also had a ring on it. It replicated his ring. Hinata was taken back by this, surprised. The boy lightly whispered, "You."

"Who else would it be?" Kageyama asked, sarcastically.

Hinata shrugged awkwardly. The carrot-head hadn't expected to find out that, the 'heartless', King Kageyama was actually married to him. He didn't know what to make of it at all.

Hinata muttered then, "Is there anything else I should know?"

Kageyama opened his mouth to speak but then closed it, hesitating. He wasn't sure if telling Hinata everything was a good idea, yet.

Hinata noticed this and said, "Don't lie to me..."

Tobio felt guilty for thinking about keeping things from his spouse and said softly, "You are currently expecting our child...I was hesitant in telling you because I knew what impact it might have."

Hinata gulped again. The words 'expecting' and 'child' seeming to ring in his head loudly. Kageyama took the carrot-head's hand and placed it on his tiny, forming baby bump.

"You might not feel it right now, but that's where our baby is. I-I love our baby...I hope you feel the same." Kageyama said.

Hinata said nothing. Usually he talked to his heart's content but today was different. Out of nowhere, tears started trailing down Hinata's cheeks. The redhead sobbed, "Sorry. I'm trying to remember but I can't. This is all so new to me, well maybe not, but it feels new. My husband is taking care of me while I'm pregnant and have amnesia. I feel almost lucky and yet scared because I'm afraid this might be just a dream."

Tobio let out a chuckle then and kissed the redhead's forehead. He then said, "Trust me, this is no dream."

Hinata's stomach growled loudly. The boy complained, "I'm hungry."

"Are you craving anything specific?" Kageyama usually wasn't one to joke but he did this time.

"Meat buns." Hinata said to the raven.

With a nod the raven said, "Wait here I'll go get some."

Hinata nodded and curiously looked around for anything else that might be familiar.

(Time Lapse)

When Kageyama came back with the meat buns, he panicked. The large King size bed was empty. The king walked further into the room and checked everywhere...He still couldn't find his partner. To his relief, however, he heard Hinata's voice in the bathroom. The smooth-chestnut brown door was slightly closed, however not all the way. Kageyama stayed quiet and took a peak through the crack at what the curly haired, redhead was doing. The raven flushed when he saw the boy's naked figure and quickly backed away. From what Kageyama caught a glimpse of, it looked like Hinata was examining himself. Gulping as quietly as possible, Tobio knocked on the bathroom door.

Shouyou jumped. He hadn't expected Kageyama to be back so quickly. Retreating his clothes as fast as he could, the carrot-head hid his body from the nudity. When Shoyou finally had his clothes on he said sheepishly, "Come in."

Still ghostly pale, Kageyama managed to walk lightly tap his cheeks a few times before walking in. The raven felt bad for having almost taken advantage of the situation.

Kageyama walked in and was looking down at the floor as he did so. He muttered, "Here's your food."

Hinata's serious face turned into, what looked like, a natural smile. Grabbing the meat bun out of Kageyama's large but soft hand, the redhead said quietly, "Thank you."

The redhead only ended up eating half of the meat bun, leaving Tobio worried. They were both, currently, silently staring at each other. "Shouyou, you should eat more." Kageyama said, almost like a mother to a child.

"King Kageyama, if I ask you anything will you answer it?" The carrot-head asked, honestly. He now sat on the bed with Kageyama facing towards him.

"First of all, we are married so stop calling me King Kageyama. I hate being called King. You can call me Tobio if anything. Secondly, I'll try to answer your questions as best as I can." The raven said reassuringly.

The redhead smiled greatly and when the smile subsided the questions started, "How long have we been married? How many months am I into the pregnancy? Do we sleep together often? How often do you see me naked? So we have the same hobbies? Do we-" Kageyama cut the redhead off there.

"You should have told me you were going to rant questions. I would have told you to make a list. We've been married for a few months. You've been pregnant for a few months. We've slept in the same been since the day before the wedding. We see each other naked often enough to know each other's bodies. And outside of my work, we both enjoy playing volleyball so I guess we have the same hobby." Kageyama said, almost proudly and yet a bit shyly.

Hinata nodded at the raven's reply. His eyes silently roamed the room for a moment and then came back to Kageyama's face and the boy pleaded, "One more question?"

Sighing the raven allowed one more and so the redhead asked, "What caused me to have this short amnesia?"

Tobio didn't know what to say, leaving him with nothing to reply. After a few speechless minutes passed by like hours Tobio said, "Let's get you a change of clothing, we'll talk about this at a later time. For now Hinata, focus on the baby and recover."

The raven kissed the redhead's pale forehead and got up to leave the room. Before the raven left, Shouyou managed to grab his arm, while now seated in bed. Looking back, Tobio saw Hinata's serious demeanor and stopped in his tracks.

"What do you mean 'we'll talk about this at a later time'?" Hinata almost yelled, bewildered, "Why can't you tell me now?"

Kageyama smirked. He saw his Hinata blooming again from the remanence of the calm, quiet one. The raven decided the carrot-head had eared himself an honest answer, so Tobio remarked, "I am saving my answer because I love and care about you. Don't go looking for one, either,Shouyou." Kageyama place his hand on Hinata's miniature baby bump. "This is a sign of our love and that it still exists. Nurture it and don't worry about the rest."

Hinata was rendered speechless. He, somehow, felt that the so called 'heartless' King of the court would play the cards in the redhead's favor on purpose. Putting his hand on his stomach what Kageyama had said to him rang in the redhead's ears again and rattled in his brain. He knew the that he could accept those cards being played for him, just fine.

A simple, "Alright." Manages to slip out of Hinata's mouth. The curly haired boy had been a bit hesitant to say it but he knew that it was because he didn't really know much of anything current.

Kageyama smirks but then the smirk softened into a small smile. The two stay still for that moment, gazing into each other's eyes. Enjoying peace and quiet to themselves. No one else. The two of them are thrown back into reality when a few knocks are heard at the thick entrance door.

"May I ask who it is?" Kageyama asked.

"It is I, sire?" A familiar voice boomed back.

Kageyama gulped audibly, turned his head to look back at Hinata and said softly, "I will return in a minute. I need to have a word someone."

Hinata nodded and Kageyama left the room.

"So did they talk?" Kageyama asked, Daichi.

Daichi looked down and got on one knew, "Forgive me my lord," Sawamura then continued after a pause, "The King of Nekoma has escaped, we do however still have the queen."

"He abandon his queen?" Tobio looked surprised.

"It seems so..." Daichi said a sigh following after. He then stated, "Maybe all this was an act of something larger?"

"I thought so too, however I highly doubt it. I have a feeling in my gut that's telling me half of what was supposed to happen tonight was meant to be a rite of passage that didn't go as planned." The King said simply.

Daichi nodded and as Tobio got ready to go back to see his bride, what the dark haired guard said caught his attention, "He's still crying"

"Who?" Tobio asked.

"The boy bride of the King of Nekoma," Daichi said now in more monotone voice.

"Show him to the guest room and bring him food. I'll speak with him directly before he sees Hinata." Tobio said.

Daichi looked worried, his eyes brows furred and he said, "Are you sure it's all right for him to see Hinata after what he's done?"

Kageyama sighed loudly and replied calmly,"He's the only person Hinata will remember since Hinata has lost part of his memory."

Now understanding the situation, Daichi knew what had to be done and left to do his duty. Kageyama went back into the room where Hinata and he knew that soon enough all the memories would be restored, both the beautiful and the ugly.
